your correction is incorrect though lol. Yes the game was in alpha and beta and playble by select people who signed up for a play TEST so they know what needs to be done with the game. That doesnt mean its released and even still it technically isn't an "Official" release since it's still in EARLY access because clearrly a lot of things still need to be tweaked but they also wanted the community to be able and enjoy whats already there being as its fairly fleshed out at this point. Once the Early access tag is gone and we have an Official 1.0 release of the game then we can circle back.

Skate and THPS are aggressively different kinds of game but I would agree I prefer Skate over Tony Hawk personally. Depends on my mood which one I'll hop on tbh.

Despite all the doom and gloom I am loving the new Skate so far. I've been softlocked on Izzy's mission for a while, but instead of screaming at strangers on the internet I just went and explored the map and there's a ton of cool places for experimentation and sick lines. I'm genuinely excited for the future of the game.

That's like, the whole point of skating though. Not even just in the game that's the sport itself. Go find something cool or weird and kickflip off it, that's the fun of skating as a whole. The very spirit of skating itself is in doing what you want to do.

And the reason you were playing before is so they could iron out the core gameplay. Now they've opened the floodgates to get the bigger problems found and sorted out prior to the full release. I don't get your point on this one.

i dont think optimization is a huge issue right now, the RECOMENDED cpu not minimum is from 2019 and the recomended gpu is from 2020. you could get the recomended cpu and gpu for 200 dollars.

If you guys have problems with the game running like slow motion, try using RTSS to set the max framerate to 60, that fixed it for me, there's a steam guide that shows how to do it, it's one of the first guides that pop up
