A LOT of people in here not understanding the concept of 'dont like it, then dont play it'. Plenty of us enjoy the game and have been for months, plenty of us have paid for stuff ingame because we want to and it's our right. It's not going to be like skate 3, because it's not skate 3, nor is it 2010. It's not going to be realistic, because it's a video game.

i know you're frustrated, but "majority" is a bit incorrect. yes, there are a lot of folks experiencing crashing issues, softlock issues, connectivity instability. but there's a lot more playing (we've seen some of the numbers showing active players).
that doesn't diminish your frustration nor does it make it better. the team are actively working on numerous bugs (like the above-mentioned ones).
i'm working with our studio community liaison to get a list of Known Issues to post tomorrow and when we can expect an update.
we know one is coming (0.28) for Season 1 launch, and we'll keep you posted with the studio's progress on these issues that have impacted folks today.

I haven't seen this mentioned specifically, but the "Waiting for Players" issue happens with EVERY mission if you skip the intro cutscene too soon - e.g. if you button-mash to skip the intro cutscene as soon as possible, it triggers the "Waiting for Players" bug where you have to sit and wait for up to a minute before the mission will start

Hi we are in stage 1 we already went through this with the last playtest. You eventually start to like the game there's good bones to it and I'm not sure of the future of the game but I am excited. The main gameplay loop may get tiresome but I've been having a really great time. The soundtrack grows on you there are tracks that are good but they used a lot of indie artists so it's more just adapting to something you aren't familiar too. The skate mechanics feel great this game is going to fill a good niche of i'm going to turn my brain off and just cruise around it's addicting once you start to get a flow of it.

yeah they shouldn't have put the alpha on steam. It feels small, it feels unfinished. It caters to gen Z fortnite AI/AR world. And the physics are off from the other skate games. It's almost like they didn't listen to the fans. Skate 3 only took 2 years to make and was an absolute masterpiece while this game took 5 years and running. Also, this game lacks the option to play it offline. Instead of it being F2P with microtransactions, battlepasses and lootboxes, I would have rather paid for a fully finished Skate game. Give us a Skate Trilogy remaster with all of the past games instead.

The first mission, spots 101 plays normally until when it wants to teleport you and you get a black screen and there’s nothing you can do. You can play normally after closing the app but you cant progress past the mission and unlock more missions.

ik its a small thing but theres just no "grime" in this game. Like in all the previous skating games you could get dirty and all scratched up and that looked awesome. Skate 3 was also being made on the same engine, so a lot (and I mean a LOT) of the code could be reused.

The engine they used for the first four Skate games literally doesn't exist anymore. They had to move to Frostbite to even make it. Getting mad because a game took 5 years to make just shows a total lack of understanding in how game development works because that is honestly pretty fast for a game, even if it is in early access.
