If you are running the Low preset on settings, it's bugged to cause the FPS to get locked at 30 while using it. You work around it by going to the Custom preset and setting all the settings to Low on that.

@ruby drum what are you talking about, Jeff literally said they're investigating bugs that are reported to the forums, and that is one of them. Updates about stuff like that will get posted to #skate-status channel and twitter.

I found that the halfway setting feels the most consistent on my controller. On my friend's newer xbox controller, the lowest feels best. Tinker around with the settings for a while, there's a lot to tweak and customize.

Good game, needs optimization and work on how its internet stuff is desperately. I can run Space Marine 2 fine on High, but if I'm not on lowest settings here its all slow motion for myself. Also I find it pretty often where the next mission doesn't pop up for like 30 minutes so I have to buzz off and skate around while I wait.

For the rest of my complaints I imagine its because early access so im not too bothered. Map is small and what not. Also typical complaint about lootboxes but such is life now a days lol

Hi a friend of mine started on tutorial island upon completion of the tutorial he was designated to move to the circle that allows players to leave the island to get to san van main city and complete tutorial island.

Upon going to the circle his game froze and crashed and when reloading the game the circle is not there and he is stuck on the island with no way to progress.

Is there a workaround or a fix he can do to progress or is he stuck and soft locked? Any help would be appreciated

I changed from classic to Streamlined, set the spot. Did the mission then switched back after. Also if missions don't appear, go skate around and wait. it was nice to see 2hollis, denzel, ski, and many others in the tracks, but it feels like something else should have been added.

basically there is a bug on "Hedge Bound" the mission tells u to "skate your way backv to hedgemont" and "Put up a score on the way back 0/8000"

the issue comes in when u actually get 8k points it just goes back to 0, sometimes u get like 1k points and just still goes to 0 from nowhere, once u actually get 8k and it dont reset, u cant even go to the finish line.. it wont let you.

I really feel this game needs competitive elements. Just look at other free to play games with cosmetic microtransactions. The reason people wanna spend money is they wanna show others that they are better at the game than them and they also wanna look cool / unique while doing it. Mmo means massively multiplayer online. This game is 150 per server and you switch through servers much like mmos do with channels as you skate around. Not to mention we all need to be connected to the same server to play and can see each other just playing the game. Its also having the same launch issues every mmo in existence has experienced lol

Lol fortnite is a instance based competitive shooter. Skate is what's know as a MMOG. G stands just fir Game. You can solo mmos as well btw, I tend to solo the mmos I play. Also there's already a game mode thats only multiplayer and I imagine more will be added as time passes
