Here's my thoughts on it. They're not adding a stats menu purely because creating challenges that would be doable with a wide variety of stat setups would be a massive pain. It's generally easier to have everyone have the same stats and design challenges that are doable with them.

But it is a concern that EVERY spot seems like it's going to be pretty squeaky clean. What's more, I don't even think it's a worldbuilding decision to keep it clean. It seems like an extension of the greater art vision for the game rather than "skating is more palatable now"

Wonder how we get access to more platforms during the playtest through.

Absolutely! When you load in, you can see if someone is on a console or PC with cross-play on by default. And with cross-progression, if you have access to more than one platform for playtesting, you can literally log out of one platform, and launch the playtest on the other platform, and you'll start exactly where you logged out.

the most promising aspect is definetly in regards to gameplay and how numerous modes and tricks were namedropped as planned additions within early access

they did also talk about visuals and artstyle but i worry that the terminology used is still a bit wonky and trying to move away from confirming that it will be further improved upon-- like how "it has already been improved in 0.27" and how we'll see incrimental and continous changes to the art and graphics of the game-- BUT maybe if ppl bring it up as their primary gripe so far we can see a more concrete answer in the next grind update

Don’t hold your breath. I got invited during the first launch of console playtests, and then about 2 months ago couldn’t get on the stupid game anymore because for whatever reason my account has been banned from the servers and I didn’t do anything wrong. And I can’t find anyway to contact EA to fix this mistake. The only way I can play the game is if I make a brand new account and I’m not going to make an entirely new account just so I can play Skate., that’s absurd. EA needs to have a customer support number to help consumers with any and all issues related to their product.

SVB aren't used to pay for the product boxes at all, that's in-game currency. SVB are used to buy specific individual items. granted it's on a rotating storefront, but still, it's not lootboxes.
