Playtesting is ONGOING, so you can sign up until Early Access. If you get invited, you will be playtesting until Early Access (unless you get booted out for misconduct, leaking, etc.)
There will be more waves of invites up to Early Access when we shut down playtesting and open the doors for Early Access.

There is a point to sign up. People can still be invited up until we stop inviting because Early Access starts.
PLUS - even if you don't get invited to playtest, signing up gives you free stuff when Early Access drops
