Arguing with staff isn't helpful, and we cannot fix whatever issue you're facing with playtesting - for security reasons, for NDA reasons, etc.

1. I'm not a mod (no disrespect to mods). I'm the Global Community manager of the franchise.
2. If the talk doesn't violate the #rules - it's not a problem.

Mods role isn't to police folks. It's to help keep the community healthy and safe for everyone. When someone decides, makes a choice to break the rules, it's not the mods fault.
However, when someone pushes the limits, repeatedly violates the very simple rules of this server they agreed to when they joined - regardless if they read them, the mods and staff have to take action for the rest of the community.

if you received an email and you're talking about it in the public Discord, you may have skipped over the NDA part that says NOT to do that.

The way it works:
You sign up at https://skate.game/insider
You randomly get an email, inviting you to register for the next playtest wave. Click the link in the email to mark your interest, do any surveys it says.
Wait. Don't talk about it on public forums/Discord servers.
If you get an email when the playtest starts (that's when the entitlements and codes get sent), you're in. And the ONLY place you can talk about it is the private playtest forums (which playtesters will be given access and a link when the testing for them starts).

I think the release date will probably be sometime in June or August and an official announcement a week or two after EA's quarterly report for Q4 of Y25 which concludes at the end of march but they don't present the report until may. after looking at their quarterly reports it makes a lot more sense of that being the window since it will either make their Q1 Y26 report look better than it would be with that being the usual time where there's one game released by them until the seasonal sports releases. which then when the new college football comes out in July after Q1 Y26 they can say they have even bigger profits incoming in Q2 on top of a good end to to their Q1. I doubt EA wants to roll the dice with the Tony hawk game since and will either take away all of the upcoming momentum that the game has by releasing the game in June making tony hawk have to live up to the new standard that skate sets. Or in August were they can say hey everyone look at skate and forget about tony hawk since it will become the standard. that's just my theory tho could be wrong
