How hard is skate's learning curve? I haven't really played one before only watched funny videos. I did play one more "realistic" type skate game before and that kinda took a bit to get the hang of. I'm hoping it's somewhere in between tony hawk pro skater and whatever the hell I played before haha

I think it’ll definitely come, just when it does is probably in the air, it has been done before with varying degrees of success

Personally the only way I could see it fairly used in like a game mode lets say, is if you can select what platforms you can actually play with, as I feel if you were doing a S.K.A.T.E competition it could be a little unfair if you were on mobile and up against someone on PC just because of the sheer difference between the two platforms.

I guess something similar would be pubg mobile, but that would isolate mobile users, which personally even though I have no plan to play on my phone. It’d still be a little sad not to have the option to play with mobile players

I agree but I just think if you’re on pc playing a skate game you are probably using a controller as most require it anyway, and consoles are almost identical nowadays anyway. I just feel mobile players would have a massive disadvantage when it comes to mobile vs anything else competition

My x360 joysticks actually started flaking off after doing a playthrough of GTA 3, and Vice City. I'm missing a small chunk in the left joystick right now

This x360 controller literally chunked off while playing Vice City. Its crazy. The white controller with gray sticks seem to last longer

I ended up getting one of those official controllers with the movable dpad, so you could have the actual cross section raised to avoid misclicks and the sticks seemed to be better quality

hey, am new here, used to play skate 3 a lot doing fun stunts and just recently heard about skate. and the discord.
a big part of skate's fun for me was just doing crazy stunts, mostly using launch glitches,
now, with skate. being probably online only, will they even allow the launch glitches, if they even exist anymore?
