Randomly, my game freezes for a second or 2. My character is effected by this, sometimes even "slingshotting" into the sky when the frames comes back...so it's not a video issue. It's actually effecting the game play. Anyone experience this and have any suggestions?

See this is the thing about video games. A company adds something that will eventually become outdated and obsolete and it'll just become a fossil thatleave future players curious and wishing it still worked.

Pre sale means, pre order bonus. Those used to be really cool and not just digital content. Came with physical items like T-shirts and art books.
Shoe codes came specifically with certain pairs of shoes so unless you can find a pair floating around that have an unused code I don't think you'll be able to. Not even sure if the servers can redeem them anymore.

It's not a terrible thing. It's a relic of its time and being there was great. You aren't missing out on anything critical to the game, only an experience that exists for that moment of time

the first console I ever played ever was the Mattel Intellivision in 1983-84. It was my step-grandfather's. He was a big tech nerd in those days, working in telecommunications (he even helped install some of the communication instrumentation for the Space Shuttle).

MY first console was an NES in 1991 that I mowed lawns for 8 hours a day (4-5 yards a day, including tree trimming, recylcing, and lining up the sidewalks and driveways) for an entire summer to buy.
Then I got a Sega Genesis, and stuck with Sega until N64.
Got the first Playstation and the OG Xbox, was a PS fanboy for a few years until I got my Xbox 360. (Though PS3 was fantastic).
In the current gen, I PREFER the constroller for the Xbox, so I game on Xbox/PC, but they're both awesome systems with great games.

just thought i'd add. sony is actively doing (non-native) ps3 backwards comaptibility and have been doing it since 2017 via cloud streaming on ps now, and now with ps plus. not emulation though, they have dedicated servers running actual playstation 3 hardware. it would theoretically be possible for EA to add skate 3 to it, but it's likely a huge mess when it comes to licensing, etc

In skate 3, you could pull down on the right stick indefinitely, and slowly flick upwards for a baby ollie. In the new Skate, the devs talk about flicking slow to slow down your flip tricks. Will this mess with the ability to control ollie height?
