It's how I teach people to ride, is to board on grass and practice the pivot from pushing foot to being placement, then work on turning lead foot later until comfortable find flat ground and work 1 push at a time

Go to the park (grassy area) and throw yourself on the ground. Practice falling. Practice falling safely, learn to roll into the fall. It helps with the anxiety if you have an idea of how to reduce injury.

you can do it, Ollies are the first real mental block in skateboarding. Get a carpet deck, helps a ton to learn. Or like Jeff said, Grass is safe and helps you learn so much. Find a waist high fence and hold onto it and just practice a lot

You gain it by doing it over and over again till you get it. It's like working out any muscle. Except with balance it's working all of your stabilizer muscles and learning to coordinate them together.
The more you do it the easier it is and the stronger you become. There really aren't any cheats around it

For a first tattoo, many want to have it somewhere it means something (that ties into the design).
My first is on my inside left wrist. It’s the four elements. It’s in my left wrist because my dominant hand is my right hand, and I legit didn’t want to bump it when doing stuff. The design is because it was a time in my life I was really into mediation and communing with nature and it reminds me we’re more than the digital we live in every day. The game ones, I wanted them where they could be seen. Like, when I’m on my Harley you can see Battlefield if you’re on mg left, skate. if you’re on my right. I am working on how I’ll turn them both into sleeves.

I have a bad tattoo. When I was 19 I got the Godsmack sun with the Eye of Horus in it (but the eye was anime style). Don't ask.

Anywho, I wanted to get a coverup. So I met with an artist a few times, discussed the design, the colors, how it could hide the thick bold black lines of the sun in Boba Fett's armor, and have his ship behind him in a distance perspective thing.

After 3 sessions (2 hours each because "my hand hurts, I gotta take a break" "my tattoo gun is acting weird, I need to rebuild it") AT AN ACTUAL SHOP (not a skeezy one either - legit dope shop and very cool) I ended up moving to LA. So now I get to get a coverup/finishing of a cool design poorly done to cover up a bad tattoo. So I've been looking for an artist for 6 years. It's a half sleeve and I know it's gonna cost me ~$1800 (easily) to get it fixed/completed.

The Skate 3 mega park is WAY better designed than the Skate 2 one, so I can get to the end super quick and rack up tons of points
