I was in inline skates (cause I'm a 90's kid). Tried out my sisters rollerskates and at first I couldn't make them "go" XD I was struggling.
Inline is more of a running/walking motion while Roller is more of a hip motion. Crazy how something so similar are so different.
BUT mechanical wise, the structure of a roller skate is basically identical to a skateboard, while inline skating, your ankle is the thing that acts as the "truck"
