I don't understand one thing. If people buy disks for a high price, why do they sell their stuff so cheap? Of course I sell everything cheap too because if I don't list it at a price like the others, I can't sell anything. Even then it doesn't work... I made a promise in wave3 that I wouldn't buy disks because it's not worth it, it's just too exciting to open. The standard might still be good because of the accesories , but the megadisk is a waste of money

Considering what you get from megadisks ( mainly tier 1 2 illuvitars), its actual price should be $15 to $20 max...
Standard disks are really valuable as you get really good chance to get 12.5x or more multiplier accessories quite often which covers your cost overall or even always in profit if you buy enough disks

I think that is because so many free D1sks are given out. People just pull what they can to sell on the market to recoup as much as possible. Massive driver in deflating prices early on. That then sets to tone for the rest of the wave as no-one wants to pay more than what has been sold previously.

There are 13 in total. This and 4 more are the weakest. There is only one on the market. If we take all of these into account, it might be worth 150-200 dollars to someone. But that's the maximum ( in my opinion )

$70 is about fair value right now IMO. That will scale up with background rarity but even then you will likely cap out quite low comparatively to higher tier illuvitars.

I gave a value based on the current situation. The situation changes compared to the previous waves in that now we get half of the reward every week. So not everyone wants to wait until the end to make his album. This also increases the value of "rare" illuvitars.
Regardless, I wouldn't pay more than 100 dollars for it. But i'm just one of many. We don't think alike

if i were to sell it, i would probably take around 250 +- for it. Most of the people here are trying to be efficient with their albums, there are only few of real collectors, so your pool of buyers is quite limited. and if they already have similar piece it is even lower. with those kind of pieces it is race against time since if those few buyers find smth similar you might lose your chance to sell it.

And even still... many people buy packs and don't hit the rarest card... or if they do it's not a PSA or BGS 10
But at the end of the day, people enjoy the experience of opening Pokemon packs whether there's a roi or not... and granted Pokemon is a card game. But who knows... there may be a card game coming for Beyond also... that was always the intention.

Also, when the game is properly marketed when everything is good for Gauntlet + MMO-Lite etc, then retained players will naturally be interested in disks + having a cool PFP of their fave illuvial etc.
It goes hand in hand. Much like land gaining traction and value once more people are in the ecosystem, illuvitars will be the same.
Some people love ripping packs - that's cool, but don't expect the whole marketing push to be done for illuvitars, before the games even prepared properly
We're getting close though, things are on the up recently.
But like Rich said as well, it's you guys who determine the value of these things lol
And if you think it's worth more, hold on to it. Or if you want some value from a pack of pokemon cards, sell it

Lets face it, if you are in it for the profit (like me), nothing you can do about it, the market wave4 is lower than wave 3. Not many want to buy Illuvitar anymore. So its lucky that Alexa or megadaddyratty want to offer, if not your illuvitar just sit there and rot. And honestly Alexa offer is usually close to real value or what I can accept, and not Executor price (he got his own method, not judging him).
Looking on the business side, Wave 3 should be the most succesfull wave with gshock promo, but even that didnt manage to break the owner of illuvitar to 14k now. So hoping to break the market with Beyond is not real, if the project ILV as a whole go well, we go well, if not kaboom.

I bought standard disks from DAO for $100. Then I bought fuel for 8 ilv tokens and bought all of them as standard disks. Then I bought three mega disks and three standard disks on the market. The total value of this is $300. The t5s3 accessories are sold for $200-250 on the market. If we take this into account, then I'm not even lucky anymore. ๐คฃ

easiest way to see is to check leaderboard. starting pool was 1000, we now have 1660. 10 ilv for every eth is added. so atleast 66ETH was spent to buy disks. not sure if this counts stripe purchases or only purchases in crypto

I cang see any funds in my passport account. If I remove all the linked accounts the funds show but as soon as I refresh all the secondary linked accounts come back ...I cleared cache and logged in logged out but still the secondary linked accounts come back and I can't access any funds as my wallet says I have nothing but I can see on chain there is
