So here's my take on the W3 LB...
I didn't gear my strategy to be 6th or 10th... I 100% aimed for top 5 because I wanted one of the top 5 illuvitars. If I knew I'd get the same for 6-10 I would have made a different strategy. So I can't upvote any W3 LB changes. Whatever they choose for W4 is fine because we will all start fresh for strategy.

IMO Beyond is the last fun thing in the Illuvium ecosystem and has lots of room to keep growing.

If some of you wanna leave I understand... but if you leave over not getting a particular Illuvitar then idk. Why not just let it ride? Stay on the LB legacy... get some free disks next wave and keep collecting. Selling off now is just like throwing away hard work.

But do what you will and all the best.

If a project is valid when it realizes a mistake it corrects it immediately, it doesn't hide by postponing until tomorrow, making others respond and creating a war between sailors. With these assumptions, even if I'm very sorry, I prefer to go elsewhere. I appreciate your honesty, but you also know that this structure is wrong.

I've been keeping a close eye on all your and spacelover's threads and feedback. But there is no feedback idea thread that has garnered more than ten people's support. It also doesn't reward everyone equally, which likely is a reason for why the sentiment wasn't there. People don't vote for the things that don't benefit them (but even the 20% increase in ILV rewards didn't garner 25 people's upvotes). So it is a pretty difficult proposal to push.

An IIP would need 25 upvotes as well, and so since the feedback ideas threads have been so divided, i don't think it would be easy at all.

I thought I was lucky with the disks openings, but no. I put $6.5k into wave3 and I'm nowhere. Others are in the 10-20th place in the legacy for this much money or less. if wave 1-2 was so expensive, how can it be? 🤔🙄

Personally i'm not a fan sorry, but I do think stretch goals need a bit of a serious rethink for wave 4.
Even if people do support this idea, I don't see it being at all feasible to build and implement this in time for wave 4, we still cannot get rewards operational.
We have seen a significant reduction in manpower/resources, we need to temper expectations to align with this fact, providing you don't want any delays.

I hope that when set 1 ends and set 2 begins, set 1 will still count in the legacy leaderboard. For those who have been playing since the beginning, it may not matter, but I want to buy wave 1-2 illuvitars now. This is very important information for me.

I didn't get any rewards or free disks for those waves. If I buy now and it doesn't count after set 1, then it's a waste of money for me. Then I'd rather not buy anything and just focus on the current wave

If they dont count set 1 illuvitars, it is also waste of money for those who has started since wave 1 as there will be no demand of it and you couldn't sell them on the market. I dont think that team will reset legacy LB to start on set 2 but you never know. Non of the existing investors would be happy if that happens

Regarding free wave disks rewards, they are not exactly free as you would still need to purchase wave 2 disks to earn those free disks via stretch goal points. I only see the slight issue there as team did put lower points limit to earn those wave 3 disks. I was one of the biggest investors in wave 1 alpha and alpha wave 1 disk was priced about $200 each 😞 which is nowhere near to current wave alpha prices

I believe they should be more difficult to obtain to ensure that they remain a prize worth striving for.
If they are too easily accessed they will hit market too frequently and cheaply and in turn this will remove any incentive to hit those goals. There needs to be a much better balance.

This is just spitballing, but I think it’d be interesting to burn illuvitars to get a special one… something like, burn all three expressions of an illuvitar to get a metallic one… could play with the numbers, but maybe 65% chance it’s common expression, 25% uncommon and 10% rare… my first thought is you could burn illuvitars that are bonded or unbonded as a way to cut down supply.

One issue with this though, is that currently the gold illuvitar are “pre bonded” where this idea would make more sense if they were considered unbonded

Yeah I understand the frustration, maybe if I explain why things took longer than expected that would help but basically with the cutbacks we lost the guy that regularly handled this so some one else had to take over but we could use the previous scripts as the people doing this didnt write those current scripts so needed to make their own, while all this was going on the bybit hack happened which prevented ilv from being transferred out of SAFE and even still having intermittent issues.

All that being said now we got the test scripts done and distributed the ilv from feb 13

Now we need to securely transfer the rest of the ilv so they can execute the rest of the ious

with only a single Stage 1, Stage 2 and stage 3. So that's 9+3+1 = 14. so now you have a 1/14x0.4% of getting a T5 S3

Ah, my poor husband. No, he doesn't play any games at all. He is a traditional investor. I was the one who was into crypto. We got into Illuvium purely as an investment. Bought tokens and I was just going to be on Discord to see when game launched, collect some early Illuvials and then sell them when the game became big.
It all went very wrong because the more I hung out on Discord the more I started getting excited about the game. That was not supposed to happen.
Now I am playing, naming Illuvials and making him lasagna while wearing tight fitting outfits while I explain girl math about ETH for Illuvitar sales.
Really, it's all taken a bit of a weird turn. So, yeah, he does look at me a bit strange and says things like, "please don't even tell me what that cost us."
He's mostly supportive though because he says the more time I spend playing and hanging out here the fewer cow sales I go to and that Illuvials don't require him to spend his Saturday afternoons helping me put in more fences.

@potent tulip thinking about your adding of albums for lynx expressions and love to see them done before wave 4 since that looks like it won't happen any time soon. It seems like each grouping could have their own album, like the hydrolynxes, emberlynxes, etc. but I would also keep the lynx album as it is in addition, like t0's have thier own albums and then best ones of each kind go in the zero album. Thoughts?

Ideally, we should have started wave 4 on 22nd march as per the latest in last hyper episode with keiran and rogier. They clearly said that art is ready for wave 4 and they dont want to delay it and stick to plan to do it 1 month after the wave ends. I still don't get that "what is taking longer now?" @wide swan / @potent tulip

Planned was a conversion Rate of 1:89 which is now unclear what it will be until we see the new proposal.

Hi everyone/ @wide swan, anyone faced situation were ilv token were sent from cex to ethereum network but address was imx passport address. So now ilvs are on ethereum network with address same as imx passport address and i dont own ethereum address. Is it possible to recover the ilvs from that ethereum address to my imx passport address? I am trying to help @lilac olive who has sent ilvs from cex to ethereum erc20 address but the address he put was of my imx passport

Resolved it... I needed to login to play.immutable.com with my imx passport account and then i can select ethereum network in which ilvs are seating and then i can transfer to my own eth wallet . @lilac olive , we are all good now

Tough one that, I can't see it being fuel. I know Ratty mentioned stretch goals, which could be doable, but doesn't excite me and I do kind of hope they make stretch goals more difficult to achieve not easier.
I would hope that there would be a better more worthwhile mechanic at some point. It may become clearer as all of the games go live, but that could be a wait too long for some. Not sure.

agree stretch goals should be tough to achieve, and maybe back to buying disks direct from ilv not opening, so we don't have all the secondary activity of dumping silv bought disks and perhaps not all the disks being opened flooding the market with illuvitars. And certainly, don't change midstream with no consultation to double points cheaping everything without benefit to all.
What about something like you burn 1000 illuvitars you get a free unique illuvitar, and then tiers from more burning with the rarity of the illuvitar going up? Costs nothing to the dao, still achievable for all and man we would burn though a lot of clown noses 🤡

This would increase scarcity and also potentially movement in beyond ecosystem.

Ironically could also increase disk sales...or maybe instead of special illuivtar you get a standard disk for so many burns, but needs to be a high number.

ie cost of buying illuvitars to burn in secondary is double or more cost of just buying disk with fuel or eth.

I imagine you alone could burn though 10's of thousands lol

It’s going to be tough in terms of supply for the next wave and maybe more. Ilv likely hit a bottom… meaning silv2 is going to reign supreme for value if Ilv climbs back up. So you’ll see a lot of disks from stretch, plus gotten for very cheap if Ilv goes up to 50 or 100. Imo w4 is going to be the cheapest to get into and prob good for newbies since fuel will be used.
