Well, with the wave specific theres always going to be a way for new players. however the sentiment for illuvium and illuvidex is kind of low, plus it might be harder for people to spend on illuvitars right now when they know that they could throw that money blindly at any crypto and most likely double that money in two months

I think we are missing a lot without some kind of a burning mechanism. The more burning we have, the better (in my opinion)
Just a wild idea thrown:
Weekly or monthly leaderboard, where you place illuvitars for burning. Illuvitars are chosen randomly from existing sets/waves. After set time is dome, all of the illuvitars in those albums (from all of participants are burned). Higher amount of points you have burned, higher you position, and better rewards. For rewads...hm..new disks? Maybe accessories? Some ilv? Combination of those? Something that wouldn't cost dao a lot of money.
This would help with excess supply of low end illuvitars, and encourage bonding.

The wave 3 leaderboard ands in February (when the wave 3 disk sale ends) with a snapshot and a 1-time payout of the ILV amount you can see in the reward list.

The set leaderboard (which pays out weekly) does not end in February, it will continue throughout the entire set (2 more waves after this)

Maybe like burn some kind of unwanted illuvs to get a chance to fuse a new and better one, the most unwanted illuvs there is into the fusion chamber for example, the rarer the new NFT of that same illuv gets generated

And we would need to buy fuel to power up these fusion chamber

So it brings Zero into Beyond too

Like for example:

If we want a better Ador with like an expression for example we would need 5 regular Adors and like 500 Hyperion to fuel up the machine and burn for a better Ador with more points

Or also for example 5 Rhamphyre for an option to get a small chance to get a Blazing Rhamphyre with that rare expression already being generated by the machine

Not sure what you mean by entire collection here? Beyond is only about illuvitars, so if you mean collecting illuvials they don't count.

The set leaderboard pays out weekly and it starts with the first snapshot tomorrow. For the wave 3 leaderboard you can start collecting them any time before the wave ends in February, there is no need to rush there.

You do receive a point bonus and on occasion depending on the specific collection, you can also receive emotes/battle boards/skins etc.

New people need to see the rewards kicking in before they buy cards to compete. It also gives them more to spend. And OGs have mostly opened their cards so far. I think trading will pick up a bit with live rewards, but maybe not to the level where it was before.

Agree with this. Its not the leaderbord. First wave there where multiple big sales happening in the first weeks. Now you can list stuff 30% of floor and it still doesn't sell. The sentiment is gone and that has mostly to do with the games not delivering what we thought they would. Hopefully illuvium can turn things around.

This is the iip that passed. Rewards should only stop in case of tech issues. The game will still be operational and people can compete during the 1 month break between waves so rewards should continue as well.

Hey! im always open to suggestions, but times are definitely different as well - wave 1 was somewhat during an nft craze, wich allowed for a ton of very 'free' marketing.. nft's were hot and in the news for everyone.. putting a label on it meant u were going to get coverage .. times are different.. but its coming back a bit - we did really well with selling out alphas within 2 hours and generating a bunch of revenue. I think the best for wave 3 is still to come honestly.

But as i said - ideas or suggestions are always welcome and we can vet them and see what we can or cant do 🙂

Just need a bit of upgraded lore, in game 3D building with 3D parcels for ZERO such as like Satisfactory for the gameplay look and resource management as well for crafting fuel packs and a bit of Hogwarts Legacy Familiaries for Beyond Zoo for example here you could stock all your tars in a 3D Space Park

That's how i could see how to improve that as well

Collecting is good but needs a bit of a soul in those games

And you could travel from lands to other people's lands to see how they've managed their resources farming all of that in 3D with real travel look with fuel etc like WoW made with the fast travel mounts

So everyone could find themselves making different things in one time at the single game but the illuvidex would nly be a marketplace with the other tabs that stays like that

Those numbers are pretty low, but I don't feel this is any reflection on Beyond itself. I believe they totally knocked it out of the park with this wave. It is extremely difficult to find fault or room for improvement outside of the odd bug/ui improvement.

With sentiment as low as it is and how far out on the risk curve Beyond is within the illuvium ecosystem, I think it's performing extremely well, as it basically holding up the entire project at this moment in time.

Beyond was never the driver of adoption, the main titles were and I think they will continue to be.
I did always think that Beyond should transition into a TCG, but now i'm actually not as convinced.
I think the illuvials themselves would be better suited, but I also think illuvitars could be worked into the game in a strong and seamless way as to provide a much better gameplay experience whilst also providing great utility for illuvitars.

I was checking out the Arena leaderboards earlier. Don't know how i've never managed to look at them until now, but they look way better than Beyonds. They do have a similar toggle switch between the modes but its done in a much more effective way.
Maybe if we could repurpose this leaderboard for Beyond, but next to the Top 3 box, instead of the "login to view" box, there was the prize pool and then a separate column for the rewards on the leaderboard, so people could see how much each position was getting of that total prize pool.

Very chunky watch. Could easily hide a IPX8 USB-C port behind a cover and the Tamogochi game could fit on a few Kilobytes of low grade memory and a 640K ROM. The game only needs 2048 pixels.

May as well up the memory to a tiny 1.5MB and integrate a blockchain wallet. It would open the market up for G-Shock and its attached to your wrist so its safer than wallets on your mobile phone which you can leave laying around.

Ledger Nano S Plus uses 1.5MB and covers a lot of currencies. They could have leveraged OpenSource code which is battle proven safe, is more trust worthy and is free.

short answer... it's complicated

Generally more points = more value... but also rarity matters. Collectors collect things for different reasons... to make matching sets, or cuz it's the only one.

beyondilluvitars.pro is good for sleeving tips and maximising points

Its all personal for the rare stuff. The more rare the illuvitar the more points the basic card has most of time. But some people choose to keep rare ones clean for collectors purpose. If you go for points it can be cheaper to get a less rare one and put good assesories on them. If you want to flex you buy the rare ones.

You can definitely get a lot more points for the price of that one, then what you would get from the adorius itself. For context, I am pos 16 on the leaderboard and I don't have a single tier 5 stage 3 card, which adorius is.

What you should do depends on what your goal is. If you wanna compete on the leaderboard for weekly payout, you need to invest more apart from the adorius to get there. One option, as you said, is to sell it and reinvest the money into more cards. But another option would be to keep it as it may have higher collector value with time. Only you can make that decision.

I usually open a certain number of disks at the beginning and just buy the rest from the marketplace. Since I have a lot of extra cards from earlier waves, I also do trades for cards or accessories I need.

No hard cap, the only limit is the time those disks are sold for. Once a wave is over, those disks will never be sold again. But as long as there are still unopened disks from that wave, there is always a chance to open an illuvitar that was included in that wave.

what doom is proposing is a very cost effective way to move up the leaderboard. You get a bunch of slots filled, probably already bonded so good points, and trade him something he wants of high value. You can deal directly with people but you want to make sure you trust them to not go through illuvidex. In the case of Dooom I can vouch he is a character; wait! what I mean he is of good character and is safe to trade direct with 😉
Also, sociox just did a nice youtube video on what to bond and why, that might be worth a watch also.

ps and buying bonded in the secondary can be a cheap way to fill slots and add points. I tend to look for things that are less than the total value of unbonded illuvitar and accessories, ie you couldn't recreate the bond illuvitar points yourself for less.

It feels like not much excitement every week for new users to keep buying bonding illuvitars right now as wave 3 leaderboard rewards are only distributed after wave 3 ends and it seems they don't feel urgency around competing for wave 3 LB and legacy LB is outside of most of the new comers and not much incentive for them to complete for top 250 spot as they don't get much at all on weekly rewards. I believe team need to introduce competition on daily or weekly basis to keep the beyond alive. I feel that current wave is the slowest in terms of market movement. I hope it will change soon.

As for the slow market, I also feel it. I think the lots of free reward disks have cut into the market activities as more people were just opening cards they needed. Also, everyone who just came into the project during the last 6 months or so have not seen any of the weekly payouts yet. I still think it will pick up a little more as people are getting their rewards (even 0.2 add up after a few weeks). Better token price would also help us, let 's hope this upturn will keep going.

For beyond they have already increased the rewards, and put a separate LB, clearly I would like it to increase even more but I don't think it's a good solution in the long run, beyond is a reflection of illuvium and currently there is no game ready to use illuvials and therefore illuvitars

For me it should be a simple PVE, where you use Illuvitars and Illuvials against a boss and you have rewards in games, components, shards, disk fragments, fuel. In addition, when there will be the battlepass it is one more reason to buy it. This would greatly increase disk sales. It would definitely not be the main game but a good driver.

right now i send ilv to coinbase swap there and send back.. probably not best but saves alot of gas on the swap

for smaller amounts, if you wanna use the eth on imx, immutableswap dot io is probably your best bet, it takes around 4.7% but no gas so it can be cheaper than withdrawing it to L1 and send it around

yes, I used it twice already and still have my money so it seems to work 🙂

I have also bridged in eth via layerswap from arbitrum and base, very low gas on those networks so it can be bridged out as well (I assume) and can be sent to a cex cheaply from there - if someone wants to cash it out to fiat

I'm guessing these are account bound like the other album completion slots

But the promo skins are from disks purchased

Therefore you won't see the clown nose skin as an nft in your inventory but as something u can choose in game
