It's definitely a risk, and its burned me a few time. I just want to make sure we are all aware of the 'mechanics' of the DAO and don't make statements that are not in line with that.

I have an IIP draft for an 'Durable IIP' which is like a normal IIP but requires much more to be changed (i.e. super majority votes across multiple epochs)

I should share it in feedback.

makes so much sense as it changes economics of a game dramatically so it should not be able to be changed on a whim but only when it makes sense for all involved. As you know many of us own land and play other aspects of ILV...and I share the opinion that if they did kill Beyond (in effect) I would be out completely on all levels also, and probably not talking sunshine about the project out in the ether either 😉

And appreciate you supporting this channel...sometimes feel ignored by the project 😉

Good idea Johnny. I think some structures (especially those with significant financial impact) should be made more durable. Imagine if Land Holders who outnumber Beyond Players voted to take Beyond rewards for themselves. Or OverWorld players voted on an IIP removing fuel rewards for Land Holders..? Having a greater degree of certainty is important to those "investing" in anything Illuvium.

the trouble is those are really for collectors...they don't help the leaderboard unless bonded, and we have a dearth of collectors, which makes sense is a hibernating/dead system. And of course, we must all remember, beyond could fail, this has not reached Pokémon status, so the jpegs could have no buyers in the future if we don't find a way to funnel people into the ILV ecosystem with the benefit of traffic drifting down to Beyond. I think we still can, but no guarantees...remember not to use the rent money to buy Illuvitars 😉

It’s not the only thing being worked on. And development of these types of things require more than just “an easy smart contract”. Once a solution is made it must be tested and implemented in the release pipeline in tandem with all the other things happening at once. If an issue is found during testing they must go back and test everything again once that is fixed. Because if you know dev work fixing one thing can often break others.TLDR: it’s being worked on and will be implemented when it’s working correctly and safely.

Yo can we get some work on the UI/illuvidex, I'm sharing the sentiment/observation as some folks that it has gotten worse and is kinda messed up that the illuvidex search has never worked properly and has an even lower success rate now

General UI feedback (this is a new feature so no worries obviously): Previous layout worked fine but the new layout puts your 'Profile' in the Illuvidex so when you click the button it takes you away from 'Beyond' so to get back you have to go through the sidebar to find beyond again instead of toggling back and forth from Album to Profile. I'm happy with wave 2 numbers and maybe it deserved more rewards since it was during bad market conditions, without a game in sight. In the end, we have similar illuvitar numbers than wave 1 so it worked well.

But this will never happen again, we will have the game live during every future waves so less incentives - and less dilution - should work out, imo. But don't get me wrong, I will take whatever they give as milestone rewards 🙂

HS's pack opening for example. On hover you can see where a rare thing lies even if it's on a random spot.

you can check it out on illuvimaster...if it doesn't have the funds it says insufficent balance to accept offer...happens a lot unfortunately and also people don't put time limits in, which they should, or remove offer if they are out of funds so others can bid on the illuvidex at a lower amount (though you can put offers in on illuvimaster still).

Right now only 150 have been sent (next wave is 250 in a few minutes, and it will keep ramping up over about 72 hours assuming no major issues)

can't remember how it was for wave 1, but those rewards were delivered in wave 2. wave 2 rewards will be delivered with wave 3. For wave 2 rewards it goes like this:
2 mega disks for every 25 purchased (+ some other rewards) with a cap for purchase of 1000 disks.
so to summarize (assuming atleast 1000 out of 1400 are from wave 2), you will get 80 mega disks (since there is cap at 1000 purchased) + some other rewards (signed squizz disk plate, holo battle board skin, etc.)

You can just farm the tier 0 stage and sell the illuvitars/items you are getting but with the test net eth its a nice head start. You could buy fuel for the later stages. Those have better harvest.

Only on your browser could they be connected.

Like its good to speculate but there is no official starting date what about transparency Illuvium Team?

I just say Beyond is the thing they will forget and could lose a big part of their community...

the town hall was over 2 hours, clicked through just a bit, and im not sure anymore if thats were it was said, but i do remember it being said somewhere, that they did not want to overwhelm themselves by having a wave ongoing as they where taking the other games live

even though I thought the delay, first thought to be a month btw 😉 was a big mistake, at this point I get the logic of waiting until we have a number of new people in the ecosystem and the disk buys will also qualify for the last airdrop so it could be a lot of fun...we just have to sit tight for a few more months
