ILV is the governance token where you get staking rewards and revenue distribution as well as voting rights for the governance Illuvinati.
sILV2 is a token that can be used to buy items from the DAO but are burnt when in the process. The tokens are only claimable through staking rewards and when these are claimed as sILV2, the same amount of ILV will be prevented from being minted

sILV2 is therefore just as valuable as ILV, within the ecosystem of Illuvium.

The market value of sILV2 however is lower than ILV, because there is no use case for the token. Except for certain times where you could buy items from the DAO, the sILV2 didn't get you any rewards or voting power for being held. So while sILV2's market value is lower than ILV, its buying power within the Illuvium Ecosystem is still 1:1 with ILV.
