i personally don't think so.
For most full composite traits you need emblems, not so for mystic. Mystic 2 you can build already in the super early game and is pretty strong, letting you build up eco very easy and fast.

Don't get me wrong, i abuse it myself here and there 😄
But it's a little too strong i feel.

This is 100% correct and why buffing earth would be bad IMHO.

2 mystic is easy, 3 is almost a certainty with a outside chance of 4 with no chip. This allows you to pick up a granite chip if a chip is on the table. This gives you 4 granite and 2-4 mystic which is an insane combo. Add earth buff would make it redonkulas

This by the way was the combo I was using to crush rogue build before the nerf... just put the granite chip or phase breaker on a Blotto and position him right and the rogues die

Additionally bullwarks are pretty strong too... anything behind 5bw and a healer is super hard to beat.

No, I don’t think there is currently a place to check that. It’s each player’s own responsibility to keep track of which Illuvials they have used and which are still eligible. If you are not sure about a certain Illuvial, do not trade it.

Or how about just unable to commit to play for 6 hours straight. Could’ve made this a bracket system with daily matches/slots. Yes, much more work. But fairer, allow everyone a chance. We have multiple time zones, many players. Could’ve had YouTube Slots for highlighted matches.

They should had taken a different time zone for the second weekend I agree with that. I read 12 games were possible.... but now when you realize that 6h window = 6h30 and 12 = 13 its weird, but now I know what to do. its just to late. When you play game and you know you wont make it, just spend everything you have and quit to start the next one. all the game I was vs the top player loosing my time every time I knew i had no chance to beat him but I had 70 life and he had like 20 hitting his combo, I should had quit that game let him make the 2-3 more round alone and I could had start another game without having to face that top player again....... rules were not clear enough and as part of one of the most active player this year its sad that i was position 8 i think by the end of the 6h and end up been 15 that is an extremely frustrating process

Just wait until after the Motorverse Cup is over. Everyone that wanted to just play bots to level up. That'll be your best chance. Already two games for me today were me vs. 7 bots. It's only going to get worse since there are still no onboarding and retention systems built naturally into the game.

I bracing myself already to try and not to explode more once influencers come in and we watch as the game gets downloads but very few stay so the game doesn't grow. Then again the suits determine the game to be the problem, deemed "too niche" to invest in, and call it a failure. i think one of the biggest problems illuvium is having is that it is a blockchain game, and a lot of people coming into blockchain games are expecting to be able to make some kind of money in return from playing. Illuvium at this stage is not exactly an easy game to play. You have to actually put work into to be one of the top players and not get smashed before you have the illuvials strong enough to last against other players

and people see that and give up on it earky

but we got balance patches as promised every month, +5% - 5%.
and now i feel that play game was here 6-8month ago.

The only thing that is for certain is that this is going to be a wild ride. I hate being doom and gloom because I love this community and see massive potential still for this universe. Plus I know many look to me as a positive beacon of light in a very negative space.

But if they God forbid say that Arena is a failure because it doesn't grow, again. Even though there are no onboarding and retention systems. Even though patches make no sense even after community feedback. Even though CORE SYSTEMS like stats went MONTHS being used INCORRECTLY only to then be fixed when a player did the digging to call it out...

All of this while I beg for a little resources for things they've already made in the past to return (Real Ascendant, Daily/Weekly Goals) and be told that we don't have the resources to do that. Meanwhile they likely spend to get a Lambo partnership and likely spend to have random ahh streamers competing in this event. To promote a game they've neglected for months that isn't set up for success to keep new players once they've downloaded the game.

I love this universe, I love this community, and I want it and everyone working on it to succeed. But I can't make this make sense.

This is TPI, the genetics of an illuvial. Each extra stat was giving you a 5% boost but it was supposed to be an 8% boost. It was buffed now. So if you have 5 points on any stat, it gives you 40% extra.

The 'escrow' is regular EOAs wallets RD set up. So there is a bit of trust you have to place in RD for duration of rental. Up to each to decide if they wanna accept that. One shared payment-escrow wallet for USDC/ETH, plus a pool of ~20 Illuvium accounts each with its own MetaMask secondary wallet attached. This is why the system works... renters can't transfer from the secondary excrow wallets cuz they dont have the ability to sign tx.

Rentals flow - renter pays our escrow wallet → backend verifies the on-chain Transfer event matches the claimed amount/currency → backend transfers the landlord's Illuvials into the assigned pool's secondary wallet → renter logs into that pool's Illuvium account... we relay the OTP → at rental end, items go back to the landlord automatically, cycle repeats.

All the contract logic, status machine, refunds, commission %, cancellation policy, escrow status, lives in our Postgres + Node API. Zero on-chain logic beyond standard ERC-721/ERC-20 transfers, which is what IMX already supports for everyone.

So we're not asking IMX for permissions... we're just using the chain the way any wallet does. The smart contract functionality is built into RD backend.

What changed isn't the space, it's AI. Being able to orchestrate and architect at this pace alone wasn't realistic a few years ago. If Polemos had AI tooling and people who knew how to harness it, I think they could've shipped.

The other thing is team size. They had a group... people debating, deciding, scope-creeping. I'm one guy building what makes sense to me with community input. Faster, simpler, less compromise.
