That´s not really how web3 games work, neither any competitive leaderboard.
Grinding is the most effective way to get bigger rewards on web3.
Is they are doing something wrong or right, we assume they are doing it right until something proves the contrary.
I´ve never have any suspicious about cheating before, something changed on this Season. Perhaps is just me than I'm obsessed with my detective skills 🤣 , but trust me, i´m saving videos to support it and i will keep doing it. Already have very serious evidence, but waiting for some more because don´t want any other possibility than : Look, he´s cheating, without an excuse possibility from the other side to appeal

So in the end, any fair system is still, ultimately going to favor players that can spend more time on the game, even if you say they can only win rewards on 10 games a day like gods unchained

Here's a cool idea...for a patch or two, consider adding a ban where every player gets to vote on one unit to be removed from the bank. Top 3 get removed. Changes things up, and you'll quickly see what players hate most

The only thing it would make sense to prevent the Game to be a grindfest for people that literally work at the game, is to make the Game Leaderboard points based on games points ,like the sitngo, and You have x number of matches that give you points, after that no points.
But that will create an issue with this playerbase. Once people finish their X matches that week ,queee times Will be impossible. Also they Will create another account if they arent happy with their main result.
What You propose makes no real sense to me ... Either you make it a grindfest like now ,or You change the formula , but for everyone .

Swap lightning and revenant stages on tibiruko. Swap inferno and wildfire between moth and drop bear. Buff 2 berserks so it does... SOMETHING. Maybe just...remove legendary augments from arena? Rework chronoflux power diverter and fate sealer because attack speed is fighters' thing and isn't supposed to be accessible to every unit that easily...

Also, make the board hexagonal instead of square

Should cut down on the efficiency of corner comps slightly, as a large part of the issue is the narrow angle that bottle necks large units into high damage ranged carries that often stack omnivamp

Also, reduce access to omnivamp and other stacking mechanics that snowball out of control in delay comps

10% ad and omnivamp per takedown plus eternal hunger makes bloom and Templar look like a joke

How cool would it be for the illuvials not to have different stats, but differentiate depending on their accesories. Now you have a real connection to Beyond and you can tell the illuvial strenghts just by looking at it. So when i start a fight against someone, and i see a rhamphyre with a golden eye patch (or whatever) and im already like fuck thats dangerous because i know what it does already

same with shopping in the marketplace, no need to check for stats, i see what accesories it has in the picture and thats it. Feels like stats makes everything so much more complicated than it needs to be

We don't want people funneling all the illuvials towards one contestant. I personally think it is more interesting to see people play with one team through out the whole tournament. That is also standard in many other games.

We did consider not setting that condition but would want a two day tournament where there would be time for the top players to get all the illuvials in-between.

Leviathan gives more room to other comps because some would prefer going their strong Illuvials over spending a lot on buying a full revenant maxed team. Anyway new patch was bugged (at least they said that) and tomorrow´s tournament is not official on IPL so don´t really know if this rollback is a good or bad idea. PErsonally, i do hate the patch, but it would be worst if the game breaks mid game

Gauntlet Leviathan – you can play it for free, but without Illuvials it will be difficult, so if you want to win, you’ll need NFT Illuvials.

Illuvials and Illuvitars are different things.

guys, is there a trick in arena gautlet how to get all those stage 3 illuvials. i see the pro players have always stage 3 illuvials. all the time a lot of them. i normally get only up to stage 2. if im lucky one illuvial on stage 3. is there something im missing?

Its about the timing when you roll for the units. And you need to be aware of what others are using. So lets say you are looking to get a Slashin S3 unit and there are 2 people who have a stabbin already, you will have a hard time finishing that unit

And depending on the unit youre looking for, it makes sense to roll on a specific level. If you need T4 or T5 unit you should roll on level 8. If you need T3 unit then on level 7. And the rest depends on your luck

Eventually you will find more S3 units as people are dying, since those units from them return to the overall pool

It doesn’t make sense to tell people buy alluvial’s or invest in NFT’s but then terminate their use case cause they’re not cheap. They’re super expensive. This is an expensive hobby.

Second, watching Leviathan is so much more exciting than watching Arena. Watching Arena is watching a person play. Watching Leviathan is watching a team play - seeing Illuvials that people have worked to get to great levels, fusing for perfect stats etc is much more interesting.

Third- Caveman and Rich did an incredible job hosting. Really enjoyed it.

The current experience progression for Illuvials is well balanced.

If a player really wants to gain a significant advantage now, they need to level up their Illuvials to 70-80+ levels. However, this will require substantial monetary investment, which would devalue the rewards.

Right now, everything is well calibrated. Naturally, the impact of levels in Leviathan needs to be strengthened, but that’s another matter.

Are there any plans to improve the onboarding to Leviathan? Not being able to select which Illuvials are used is a real pain. Obviously it would be best to choose a pool of Illuvials that are used for Leviathan. Is something like that in development currently?

If not it might be a good idea to automatically select the highest TPI Illuvial (instead of the highest level). This wouldn't be a perfect solution. But we have TPI now and we didn't have it back then when the system was developed (I think). This would also allow to upgrade your team more easily because if you buy a better Illuvial it will automatically get used for Lev. It would also help once leveling is introduced in arena because you want to level your best Illuvial and not necessarily your highest level Illuvial.

This is part of the issue I have with current state of Gauntlet - the format very easily lends itself to griefing and team play, which some players are starting to realize certain groups take advantage of. No idea if it's against the rules or not, but to me it reduces the strategy of the game greatly. Nobody in chess is helping my opponent by taking my pawns away, but in Illuvium Gauntlet this is absolutely happening. I wish more players discussed it as you are doing now.

If this is really a thing, like having other accounts to buy out specific Illuvials or even not kill a struggling team mate by placing intentionally bad. I would say this needs to be checked and the punishment ofc. should be exclusion of any rewards for ever. Maybe, it would be advisable to put a delay on rewards to check if a person is proofed to be a bad actor.

Names are big parts of players' identity as well as illuvitars

Sorry Winnie, if i had evidence that could 100% ban the bad actors, trust me, i would not waste words / time here, that i can spend playing.
The evidence i have about cheating, can be taken or be defended as "visual bugs, spectator errors, etc etc"...
About win trading, yeah, i have 2 videos that 100% proves it. 1 person taking out all the augs from the Illuvial, even his bonding, to let the other win.
About putting bots in the games, 3 videos with 2 persons ( 2 videos about the same person) putting 2 bots with 1200rating (new accounts) in his game and doing exactly this.

If a player shows brilliant skill in a tournament but suddenly plays much worse in regular games, then they’re win trading.

But I’d like to see the videos. I can’t just take your word for it.

You must never wintrade. Never. There’s a Casual mode for messing around. If I see a guildmate in a match, I try to focus on them just as much as on any other player. Because I respect friends as worthy opponents.

Wintrading is humiliating to your opponent.

I know is a joke, but im not really here for the money. I f%$·ing hate these kind of trash behavior in a game i do love. And trust me , i will get to the bottom of this and keep saying in chat what is wrong and recording my games and expectating other games. If i manage to get a 100% evidence about cheating or botting a game, i will report it with all my hate.
I do hope, that all their assets / IP / Passport / DNI / Blood type whatever you guys can ban , be banned after i can prove that.

1 thing i don't like at tournaments, it's people from 1 guild can team-play. especially if it's 4+ppl from 1 guild got into final-8.
what does that mean:

1. they split strat, to not contest/pick each other units
2. they look on other 4 opponents, and think who stronger and 1 of this guildmates close him, like got contract for that from guild: he look this person try play wildfire, he go wildfire as well to not give him units, other game he look he play invoker - he go invoker as well.
   so - after that guild chosen champion got free win, coz his main opponent had hard pressure contesting.

it's happened once to me.
i'm not sure they made deal about it. and probably i'm wrong. but after that situation i have bad feeling/minds.
how can prevent? - it's hard - you check discord msg - but they made call in skype, etc.
so yes - probably hidden names on tournament, and only comentators know real name, and delay 30min on stream.

and let's say 1 person build scorpion, and all his guildmates look on that and sold all theyr scorp, but buy more other tier-3 units, so he can build it faster? - just example
