It is just not at the ofrefrunt right now as the main priority for the team, and the direction they're trying to bring the playerbase is in Gauntlet

No idea if the pool of players for Ascendant (the 1v1 mode) is big enough to still be short-ish ques. But just incase you wanna try

Well I fought your ghost army the round before and you won by one unit. That round I upgraded to octus and got the xeno suit for ranger, That would have made the difference I'm sure. But I also wanted to get the energy attack on crit on my phryiox and didn't get the tempest back on the jotun 😦

in my feeling - no. at lest spawn on store.
on testnet, when we have 2 slot for weapon/suit you can build faster stage 2-3
i got tier-4 weapon at 3rd round.
and sometimes can't get tier-1 stage-2 weapon by 10 rolls at lvl.5
sometimes i can't get weapon tier-3/4 stage-2 by 20-40 rolls at lvl.7-9 when noone in lobby play this weapon

if we have same amount of weapon and chances of spawn on store same, like illuvials (on low lvl more % for tier-1-2, on higher for tier 3-5) but only 1 slot out of 5 compare to illuvials.
we have 3-3-3-3 weapons in every tier, and 11-8-7-6 illuvials, except tier-2. overall we have 2,66 illuvials = 1 weapon.
but we have 5/1 on slots. if my count right, chances get "weapon you need" x2 harder that illuvial you looking for. also add, that in rolls only 1 slot, and you can get same weapon each 2nd roll, but you can't get x5 Mjoll on 1 roll (you can, but chances super low) .
and i'm not count people also pick weapons from this amount
after 35 games i build only 1 time weapon stage-3.

should not be taken seriously geting exp by gauntlet. you need 700k exp and you got 14exp by game. 50000 games to get 1 illuvial to lvl.60, or 33 333 hours.

well, is that really a problem or is this normal?
I mean aside of the two mentioned comps there are at least 2-3 others that are close to them in power and can perform good depending on augments. In some cases they can even compete for top places. Now it is up to us to evaluate which comp is achievable in a game and eventually just except that first place is out of reach for this game.
Haven't played tft a lot, but that sounds like a pretty normal and kinda balanced meta to me.

Also everything could be different in leviathan again, because we don't really know how the scaling for level 50+ will work out, but I guess this is another topic.

I think the scepter and cleaver are autolocks. Scepter doesn't even need stage 2 to do over 10K damage. That is broken to me.

It's just too easy to top 4 with them and we can't say the game is in a good state, because stage 3 weapons don't exist at all. I think units are all fairly balanced. Specific synergies can be too strong and I look forward to the new thresholds which should alleviate some of overpowered 4 and 6 thresholds.

sure, the scepter is too strong and ofc. there is quite a lot to improve, but that will always be the case. For a patch that just introduced the ranger it feels pretty "okay" balance wise, but I think you played more than me, so, I would say you understand it better atm. Most important thing on the roadmap for me is the improved stability after multiplayer features.

The T5S3 Venomous Sceptre(toxic/encha) is nearly impossible to achieve, so it's by far the strongest and I don't think there's any problem with it.

However, currently the T5S2 Toxic Sceptre(nature/encha) is a bit too strong even for S2. If we weakened it a bit and, for example, strengthened something like the T3S2 Typhoon Blaster, I think it would give Psion configurations a bit more flexibility.

Currently, the T5S2 Toxic Sceptre is strong enough that it can be equipped with any configuration, not just Psion, without any problem.

Gauntlet BUG, first time I have seen it:

• I bought a Grille and it fused with 2 on my bench.
• I put that new stage 2 Grille on the board.
• I bought a Pho from the shop and put it on my bench.
• I bought exp a few times and leveled up.
  Upon leveling up, it reset my board and bench back to having 2 Grilles on the bench, no pho, no stage 2 grille, an empty space on the board, and still cost me all the gold I spent for the pho and the grille even though they no longer exist.

I Bugged it in game too, but this was a pretty serious one so I figured I would put it here too.

I've played the new patch 9 times, 6 times with Psion comp and 3 times with Fighter comp.

There are times when t5s2Septre is better, and other times when t3s1Blaster is better for water synergy, so I think Septre has just the right strength.

However, the exhilaration of Ranger dominance is gone lol. Personally, I feel the balance of the ranger weapons is not bad.

but yeah playerbase is just low right now. i see illuvium as being really in open beta. stuff is getting fixxed, then we go for onboarding.

what helped me personally a lot with peace of mind is that most of the marketing budget is still in the treasury, just waiting for the game to be polished.

the weapon bug is nasty, your weapon will upgrades only if the game recognize the 3 weapons on your deck..not the one you are using. (weird).

I saw this..wen i had 3 weap (2 on the deck 1 on my ranger) and as soon I had the 4th weapon (so..3 total on the deck) it fused correctly

I think it's a one time bug. The enemy turned ethereal and it was facing me on my side of the board. while the grokko faced him in his side
