Gauntlet needs more action during the building phase i think. Not a lot viewer friendly. They want action ^^
I personally when not playing myself also more likely watch hearthstone battlegrounds than TFT streams. So much happening because of abilities that effect building phase and not combat only. With quests and buddys and so on it just has so much dynamics that it is highly consumable.
How about a drone buddy in addition to the illuvials with its,own abilities?
How about the character being able to be placed on the board also? (when losing, then double dmg for example as trade off)
How about affinities and classes give also other gautlet only additional bonuses?
Just some ideas and examples.
I know, not for launch, but later updates to gove more dynamics, dopamine and also sometimes game breaking fun

Why not make gauntlet, only illuvials you own show up, and you must have idk at least x amount. So free players will go get there t0s and it will make people want to go catch them so they can show up in the game.

Or make gauntlet free to play with no trophy system and then make a trophy system version that requires at least 15 different illuvials can be same illuvial different stage, and then you can enter ranked gauntlet.

Then people would be like, damn I wana go get that character so i can have a chance to get it and rank up.

Cuz tbh gauntlet looks 100x better than acendent, and we need the nft utility or i feel no ones gunna really care about buying illuvials just for an effect in game.

I don't know why people think that it is only a skin or only an effect. If a game is fun people pay ridiculous amounts for skins. Blizzard made more money with a cosmetic horse than with Starcraft 2. Now, when gauntlet is successful you guys are selling the skins. With that you sell the stuff that maybe makes the most money in the entire gaming industry. Yet, everybody claims that won't be enough utility. I would say it is the most important utility because gauntlet is a game a kid could play all day. OW with 6$ a run isn't a game that can be played by kids without supervision.

But as other people have said, we need to have a big audience. It’s definitely the way forward to build that.

If all goes well we will have f2p shooters and kart racers and dungeon crawlers. Etc. the idea is to create a universe. And have people enjoy spending time in it.

Anything you play that you don't own will have no bonus traits. Meaning that the better your illuvials, the better your advantage. It's fully pay to win, but gated from the F2P players so that they can exist side by side. I think the crypto people will play more leviathan since they will own way more.

And it's actually kinda interesting. If you come in with a beefy Ophisto, then people are going to know you'll pivot to shock. And that means that they can focus on countering you. So even in a P2W environment there is still the chance of outplays.

Your making an asumption about what the base mode is? The Mode of the game that is the real mode is the one that has the rewards to playing it. THat be like calling Illuvium Zero without holding lands the normal version. The esports versions of the games will be Levithan and Levithan Guantlets that have more competive leaderboards and tourneys around them

One suggestion to gauntlet mode, what if units have both composites in stage 1 and then rebalance the stats so stage 2 and 3 are relevant in this case?
The way it is now it isn't possible to hit a lot of the composites and this mode will probably need to have a difference balance than regular PVP anyways

The issue is (I think) on multiple fronts. I believe that the OP is bugged somehow... giving it more than it should. I also can see that certain augments are proccing off Inferno ticks on each unit hit by inferno when that should just be on autoattacks and then finally, I think that the Monarch auto is doing 3 types of damage and all three are proccing certain augment abilities. Regardless... it's quite clear that some players have been abusing this to great results in Gauntlet and I'd love to see them unable to do so in the finals.

You don’t need a team at all for gauntlet. Minute one, you can queue up and play.

I think you are mixing up arena survival with gauntlet a bit.In arena survival it is PvE you get a set team every day and you try to beat waves of pve enemies.Gauntlet is PvP where you get a selection of random illuvials every round and you buy some etc, similar to tft

I just checked but it seems that you are not playing with your own team (your NFTS) but with any fantasy team that you have prepared.

There are some pretty lousy free teams, but if you click the button to make your own team, it uses your own illuvials, or the ones in the free rotation.

In overworld mastery points aren’t relevant (can’t hit 1000). In arena you build up mastery points as you play round by round.

summary: drastically increase the difficulty of obtaining and capturing everything or the game market will be unviable for investors and collectors, and remove if not remove at least decrease a lot of the points for the waves in the survival mode

Leviathan gauntlet should take you highest or better stats illuvials, for the casual theres like an aura effect (visual improvement) for the ones you own
