Yeah. Mining some testnet eth on sepolia is pretty easy. Search google for sepolia faucet. Never connect wallet. Just input the address you want it to go to.

Then use the imx passport to bridge and transfer.

But if you don’t have a registered imx passport then when you attempt to log in to the game it won’t let you.

If you don't own the illuvial and are using the F2P version of it then it would appear in its ethereal form. We don't need to give a 'unique' cosmetic effect for owning illuvials. Just show em as they are...

This is a better message than having to play with ethereal Illuvials and only getting the real looking Illuvials when you pay.

Kieram just suggested that Illuvitars could also be used as cosmetics. Maybe this is a way to add cosmetics to owned Illuvials.

They have the full version and there is nothing that stops us from adding rewards to their leaderboard. The rewards could range from Illuvials to ILV.

Especially Illuvials for the top 100 players would be a perfect reward to bring these skilled players into the ownership leaderboard game modes.

After they bought or won Illuvials as cosmetics they can also start playing on the leaderboards that require ownership as an additional benefit to just being cosmetics.

I think it is the perfect strategy for onramping.

Not sure adding rewards for F2P is a good idea. Bots will outperform the majority of humans. They'll know the best placements, best counters, etc. Why do you think it's an AI that tests the game balance?

And how would you even distribute illuvials to the top 100? The DAO can't mint illuvials. It would have to be buying them from the market...

I have not seen the cosmetics, I agree it depends a lot on how they actually look. I know it is not perfect and from a cosmetic standpoint ethereal Illuvials would be better. But maybe having a complete F2P game is more important ?

Yes, the bot problem exists, but buying the Illuvials from the market should not be a problem.

I don't think I can solve the bot problem here, supposedly only Riot has a good system. The bots are a real problem anyway, they can kill F2P PvP even without leaderboard rewards.

I have a feeling that we haven't thought enough, how we would operate these games.

At some point AI will get so good that there is no game a human can possible ever win and with AI implanted or with AI assistant devices e.g. Apple Vision Pro it could be game over before we even really started.

anything added that you dont own will also make it invalid

Vanquished = killed

Grit = Flat physical dmg reduction

Resolve = Flat energy dmg reduction

Flat dmg reduction means is you are taking 100 dmg but have 25 grit/resolve you will only receive 75

I can't understand, and the worst thing is that on my Mac the text is so unreadable, so I can barely read anything. Probably this is the game for powerful gaming computers with huge screens. That also makes my gaming experience very poor.
I was struggling for a week to understand all the basics, to go through all the trainings etc.
But I guess from now I will just look from the far on the project and search for something else more playable for myself 🥲

The sword is really nice when using it for your overworld equipment loadout. But as I am just noticing now that this is the arena channel you must mean what’s best when using it in your team composition.

The best weapon will be the one that gives you the best benefits for affinity and class bonuses.

Personally I like the ranger to serve as a tank. But I’m not actually good at this game. So there’s no reason to think the shield is the best choice all the time.
