Yes, you can think of it as passive healing source. If you gain a buff of extra healing (say 10% and your health regen is 100, then the total will be 110).
Health regen is per second. So you gain 100 health in 1s, but split into 10 health/0.1s
Ofc it is , its not energy gain or smth , its HP regain
While an instant heal (say 100 per second) only triggers when that 1s mark is reached.

Most likely, yes. In any case, we'll be able to push hotfixes faster in the near future, in case of anything.

Does the legendary augment that gives hp regen and deals damage in aoe based on unit’s hp regen takes the verdant proc aswell into account ?
No, Verdant does not buff the Health Regeneration stat. Verdant has an instant Heal, and a zone that is Heal Over Time.
The damage from LifeStorm is based on the Health Regeneration stat. As an example, the old Bloom was taken into account, since the 3rd bonus was a Buff to Health Regen.

How to fix the game cant find match and the cancel button is greyed out

Hey guys, we are collecting information on all users affected by session not being closed for them from before the patch.
If you are trying to find a match and you see "Cancel" button greyed out, please make a bug report from inside the game by clicking "B" and title it "Stuck in a ghost session"
Someone did say that if you press the BACK button in the top left it might make something work. 🤷

It is incredible how micro placements decide over winning or losing in these mirror matches.
I hope/pray this new game mode Aaron pitched to Kieran (he's so excited about it) will bring more life back into the arena.
Cause, like this, it's far from funny watching your Illuvials fight the enemy, and the enemy wins cause the path of your team has been worse than theirs.
That's far from making fun.
It feels worse still when you refuse to play the mirror game. So you just lose.
Don't get me wrong here, I love playing it even if I get pretty annoyed sometimes from specific match outcomes (due to the described above), but the main goal should be, in my personal opinion, not to make an arena only for full-time pro players who know precisely every micro placement.
This game is absolutely brutal right now because it's nearly impossible for anyone to look at the behemoth mirror setup and actually determine which side will win at any point in the round; because it's random. Which behemoth will crit or stun or path around aimlessly for 10 seconds before deciding to attack the furthest possible unit? The randomness introduced with this overpowered behemoth and bugged baby lynx is just not fun (for me). Once again the top of the leaderboard is whoever was on when this new build dropped and those players got to use it before it became a 50/50 coin flip that everyone plays. Those accounts will not be played again and will take the top spots unless a new build is found that counters this one - and whoever is looking for that build can enjoy losing 90% of their matches until they find something that works. These "stuck" metas are so bad/boring/unplayable for me. Some people presumably enjoy this, but those people should be in a straightjacket and legally prevented from procreation. /rant
Is there at least some communication/knowledge about when this new arena mode will be launched with PB4, or do we still need to wait another four weeks or more?
It is even more frustrating that nobody knows how long this unfunny game style will continue.
If it had been launched already yesterday, that would have been amazing. It obviously hasn't!
After a week of break, coming back and playing around ten rounds, I lost motivation to play any further since it's not just the same thing repeatedly (micro placements deciding factor) but also almost solely the same players/smurfs.
I hope this is addressed by the team sooner rather than later - it needs to be a high priority to change it before we launch into Open Beta regarding Arena!

Last but not least, I cannot wait to play the new Overworld with its Illuvials freely roaming around and a changed arena mood, which will also have its weaknesses, but it's always a work in progress.
Still, I'm sure the team is taking all the feedback from the community and doing their best to deliver a great experience with their new arena concept!

Speaking of smurfs, let's not forget arena rewards system that is so stupid right now, that there is a guy who has 8 accounts in top 100. That ILV that should have been ours is being transferred to tournaments pool, as far as I heard. Tournament that we will have to participate to aquire ILV that should have been ours in the first place. Rant over.

I care less about these rewards than the fact that newcomers right now are almost immediately pushed away even with a meta deck since there are so many smurfs in lower elos (lower point brackets) that they almost play against these much more experienced players.
What is far from a fun and immersive experience that you need to give newcomers so we can achieve a higher retention rate - which should be our top priority!
These rewards, in the end, do not decide over success for failure; what indeed will, in my opinion, if the arena becomes as competitive as Overworld regarding a fun experience since that's one of the core motivations for grinding Overworld to beat others in the arena right after you made an effort to build out a strong team in the Overworld, to play right after in a fun matter in the arena.
I think I recall some official from the team saying they were maybe going to change the system so when you start on a fresh account you need to play a few games before going in ranked so that should fix this since they’ll play against new comers
But I doubt you can ever stop people from making smurf accounts
Also rn smurfs are an issue because the player base still needs to grow, once you have like 10 smurfs for 1000 normal players it won’t feel as bad as rn
As long as the player base is sufficient, you won't be stuck in the "normal queue" (like with casual games at the moment). It should help to avoid that feeling of being hit into your face right from the beginning of playing your first games.
Another solution would be you start your account at 0 rating
And you have to rank all the way up
People would be less incentivized to Smurf because it will take a loooong time to get back to top 100
And anyone smurfing would quickly get out of the elo hell so newcomers would be facing each other until they understand the game well enough to escape the 0-300 rating
The problem I see with that is that the climbing is quite challenging when you get 10-20 points every round, which takes you quite a while to get anywhere (after you have played placement games).
If the team ever plan on doing this please let us know ahead of time so we have enough time to make a bunch of smurfs 😂

The beginners would be stuck in this until they learn the game enough to climb
I don’t know how games are played in the 0-300 elo but I assume playing on curve while using propper synergies should be enough to win streak out of it, so once you’ve got the basics you’d escape it easily
Maybe doubling the rating win/loss for people below 500 elo would be relevant
let´s look at e.g. league of legends, about +-20 lp/game, if you have 60% winrate, which is high argubly, you win 6/10, so +40 in 10 games, which take aprox 300min, so 5h, a division is 100lp, gold 4->emerald 4 is 400 lp as far as I know, so 50h for those 400, iron->brone->silver->gold->emerald->plat->diamond, seems like a long route in terms of time compared to ILV atm, as we have 2400 + promotion series between 0 and diamond, which isn´t the end of the system, but the end of the divison lp thing
also re any ranked gains/loses etc. in the end you play in the same system as others, if getting points is easier for you, so it is for others, so you´d need to gain more again

there r just 30 or 40 players playing and all are smurfs
if u came newbie with your homemade deck u will be hummilate for all the predecks

With the current meta, it feels like the game is not designed for 8 melee. The pathing are understandable, but they are still really weird and sometimes impossible to predict.
current meta is the lowest agency one so far I think, part of it is that avg gold player is better now and aware of wall off etc. though so kinda low skill ceiling
in e.g. enchanter mirror hyper and small stuff like stun timings and how many units att ones for those was relevant, none of that matters enough in the wall of mirrors sadly
what makes it even worse is that turn 1-2 positionig aren´t commiting anything relevant for later, so first "agency" turn would be 4 after you swing enough hp for one player to be at 1 life sometimes
People want to know why players with top accounts have smurf? There is a lack of 1800s playing which means it sucks to play on a high rank account. Long queue times and risk-reward that isn't worth it.
I started the day at 1937 and went 3-1. Guess how many points I won? Lost 2. I ended 9-5 and lost 72 points. (Opponents ranged from 1500 to 1850) I would need an 80% WR to break even against 1650-1700 😂
Once I'm done with my 15 games, there's no way I'm playing on that account until my smurf passes it. And if smurfs become ineligble for rewards I would just play some customs and prepare for next week. Overall I would play less. I guess more players would help but smurfs counting for leaderboard are needed, just needs to pass reward down as for inactive accounts (which are worst)

if you feel bad about that my brother last week was rank 1, 2000 rating, with 12 wins 1 loss. He than lost the last 2 games to silvers and was down 100 rating overall haha

1-2 weeks after any reset it will be the same again, in any decent agency meta some people, likely same as before will be at the top end again
Atm it is rather difficult to climb because there is barely any agency and at the top end you play vs far lower ranked people most of the time, so you need 70-80% winrate, or more, but can’t have that in the current matchups
If you „can’t climb“ while below 1700 it is on you not the system/meta

for the top few people in any game this is just how it is, if they are paired vs lower mmr opponents, difference in a small game like ILV atm and ones with millions is that this isn´t just reality for the top 10 or so players but far more players as there are fewer people at comparable skill levels going into the higher ranks on the ladder, so far more likely to get uneven matches even if you aren´t in the top few players range, but in some top 100-500 or so already
the emote spam thing is the only reason i don't like to lose xD

I mean the above in a serious way, arcanite units kinda farm low elo players, as bird e.g. was a check for if enemy team has enough dmg/tank stats, so unoptimized teams just lost aka low elo teams
snake is check for enough defense, if it would be a bit better it should giga farm the X-units stacking in verdant fields etc., but again low elo would be farmed by that because they prob don´t know to spread out etc.
We need dmg dealers to be buff overall, so that the meta won't be shield/healing/resistance

is not public, they have to share it with you. but u can always take a screenshot /record of their team in-game and rebuild it manually.
make sure to check the dominant affinities if you wanna copy it 1:1

7 psion you play jotun verdant or berserker verdant but transition into rhamphyre 4-5
any team, that has rhamphyre+ charge capacitor (+32 starting energy) on it + synergetic field(+20 starting energy to teammates) on someone else + ranger with fire psion weapon, while rhampyhre is rogue+ void sash ranger suit and prob any other augment on rhampyre will beat 7 psion
yeah, mainly aoe dmg dealers I think, single target is fine once you have 2 units or upgraded ranger, but arcanite does nothing nowadays, invoker does nothing etc.
on another note, I think lots of stuff would be viable if you could make it to turn 5 without the transition/different early game .... stuff, pretty much every team outside of berserker colossus, which prob only works due to lynx, was big unit+ ranger + cheap tanks/heal as a team

That is flat dmg reduction. Resolve being energy dmg reduction and grit being physical
Flat means that its not affected by the resistances, 5 resolve is simply -5 energy dmg per hit

The path i did behind adorius was only fitting one at a time and pretty tight so everytime someone is just close others are blocked for 1-2s then other comes, other are blocked etc

Similar processes have been tried in the past. And multiple times it has been asked to include the experienced players of our community in the game design discussion to save production time.
Consensus has always been: trust team, they know better.

is there a way to add friends?
I believe the game needs balance. Regular balance that improves the state of play overall. We have yet to see that. We get one massive patch every 6 weeks that's way too large and tries to do too much and is too infrequent and is dropped with clearly OP stuff and clearly UP stuff andandandandand. Smaller patches that are more regular (either every week or every other week) would keep the game fresh and interesting for players. But, the people in charge of balance need to stop with this blatantly OP stuff. It's not necessary and hurts the game. If a person were incapable of reading the last major patch notes and predicting that Behemoth/Frost would be out of balance - then that's a problem and it should be solved. Sending stuff like that to production is an issue that we have right now and it's not easily solvable if the people working on it don't see it as an issue.
We're nearly into March now and have seen what - 2 major balance patches? I never, ever would have predicted such a thing. 2 balance patches in over 3 months? That is not good.
League of Legends (as a popular example) had extremely frequent updates and patches early on and they were always and constantly tweaking things to bring their champions to a similar power level. The game would occasionally get OP units that were played more than others, but, for the most part you could play whatever Hero you wanted and have a reasonable chance at winning. This is not the case with Arena and I don't see us on the right path either, yet. It's still early, but personnel or process needs a change. The game is unenjoyable for me right now, but will be instantly fun again once the next patch drops and until we find just one OP build that is the only playable thing. But, this takes time. Too many words. Done now.
I think tft is a fairer comparison and they get balancing wrong all the time. balancing is way harder in a 1v1 game with prebuilt decks + beta where balance isn’t the priority (I think balancing has been very good other than frost behem). I have a feeling new game modes will make balancing easy / not as obvious what’s the best
I also feel like we might be expecting a bit much, if they put all their focus on arena they could definitely be pumping out patches as we would like them, but they also have 2 other, pretty much completely different games, that they are working on, illuvium zero probably doesn’t take too much, but I can’t imagine the hours they are putting into the overworld, especially with the release coming up. And of course, we want arena to be good, but our personal experience in the beta isn’t that important, I agree that there have been many flaws in the current patches, and if there is nothing going on behind the scenes then yeah that is concerning, but I think that the lack of speed itself is fine, given how much they currently have on their plate
I think the main issue is that people tend to forget that this is a beta access which is mainly utilised to identify bugs etc. I feel like we should just be happy to even earn something while testing out the game which isn’t a given at all. They could’ve also just given us a beta tester nft upon launch that could be worth close to nothing?

To be honest I agree as fuck. It is ridiculous how the current system is designed. TOP 1000 rewards should be distributed to weekly eligible players. Smurfs and not eligible ones should be bypassed in the top 1000 count.
Agreed, but I think currently it’s not as big of a deal as we are saying it is, as thantos just said, it’s the private beta, which we really only have to test bugs, make sure the game runs smoothly, which in that aspect, we did beautifully, there were so many crashes and bugs, and now, I can’t remember the last time my game crashed or I had a bug, so in the aspect of private beta, the team, and us, did awesome. I think that they brought out extra stuff to reward us, for our hard work😂 and we are kinda being a little ungrateful, they could have said, no rewards, that’s not what a private beta is for.
Exactly. The only „bug“ I currently encounter from time to time is that my cancel button in match making gets greyed out but it can be solved by going back to start screen. Within the game i didn’t face any crash or random things since the last patch. To me that’s a really good sign

if the rewards didn't bring in the DAU that they were hoping should we still be giving them out widely. would changing the system now really bring in new players or have a significant inpact on DAU?
I feel it's important to reiterate just how much fun this game is overall - how much I enjoy it and how impressive the entire project is as a whole. I was specifically asked for my input - and I believe my critique about certain aspects that could use some improvement/focus rings true and will hopefully be received as it was intended - with nothing but love for this project and the people working on it.
I mean, you are right in everything. But this doesn't prevent me from saying that the current ranked rewards system makes no sense and is unfair. Even if they want to incentivise more playing with smurfs, it becomes counterproductive as top players can stack in the top 500 multiple accounts and then other players don't have any aspiration to aim high in the ladder for juicier rewards.
This has degenerated to the point that some players have more than 5 accounts inactive in the top 100 lol.
If it is something that needs to be worked on, I will say it. The team will judge when is the right moment to implement the changes tho 🙂

Alrighty then, here goes. I said 2x which is shorthand for 2 in the tens digit and a variable in the ones digit that can be any integer from 0-9. Such that the possibilities would be 20s, 21s, 22s, etc. I took the screenshot after I noticed the OP at 0 28s in. Presumably, the actual time to get there was < 28s. But, that's fairly immaterial.
One issue that I see with our current SOTG (State of the Game) is that pretty much only "broken" stuff gets played because it's the only thing strong enough to counter the other "broken" stuff that becomes meta. Things like baby lynx, 5 bulwark, behemoth, verdant, etc. etc. etc.
I was just trying to get ahead of the situation by pointing it out now. If other's don't see it the same way, then I need only wait and I'll be proven wrong or right with time. This does feel like pretty low hanging fruit though.

everybody keeps complaining about the current state, but is spending hours and hours in the game.. of course I sometimes want a more diverse meta, but this is a private beta and far from finished. I think the game is super fun already and there is only more to come. To the team: great work!
I actually was speding a lot of hours in the game every day but since the patch I'm playing less and less, the game has a lot of potential and the team is doing a good work but we can't pretend the game is fun right now, feedback helps the team to improve the game
The way it is right now, if I wasn't here for more than 2 years and with a lot of money invested I wouldn't care about the game anymore, hope they can build a PVP where skill and decisions after the game starts matter
Well said. It’s strange to me when players are labeled ‘ungrateful’ or complaining about a beta. 95% of us are super grateful and love the game, we’re just providing honest feedback which is the point of testing?
Bringing feedback to the team/DAO is essential and rather than delays us to open beta it actually gets us closer to a market ready product the masses will love (regardless of rewards).
I think in frequent balances are fine during beta, but maybe make them less heavy handed as SODA stated?
I’m sure we’re so close to new modes, and solves for broken rewards are coming, but it sure has taken longer than most of us expected (even in a beta).

Some good thoughts. I think a big part of the problem is that powerful teams spread easily in this free 2 play version. Just got to screenshot opponents team at the start. This wouldn’t be a problem if you have to capture and/or trade for each illuvial on the team, like will be the case in leviathan arena.
The nice thing about the current game state is that it quickly showcases which teams are OP.
Agree that more frequent patch updates are needed. At least, once every two weeks. Making smaller adjustments, but more frequently.
This is why I would love to see a ban phase implemented, so people are forced to think outside the box each game if different core cards are banned. Would at least make the meta a bit more varied, and different matchups would want different cards banned for best effect.
Also, I feel like this game needs a bit of RNG added. I feel like maybe being able to access the deck at all times is maybe not a good thing for match variety and freshness.
Hearthstone addresses this issue by having the players draw cards each round, which ends up being RNG. Making each match different since you would have different starting cards, and so would your opponent, so you’re going to want multiple quality openers in your deck.
By the end of the match, you’d probably have your whole core team out… not sure, just a thought
I suppose you could have half the deck available round 1 (randomly) - 14 cards, then add 7 cards on rd 2 and 7 more on rd 3 or some such thing to emulate that.

intiial thoughts on it?

New ui looks super cool, overwhelming fights because of everyone casting all over the place, you understand less what’s happening but it’s fun to watch it looks dynamic. Need testing to settle a meta but apparently the corner box shitters(psion corner or empath corner) still work, which would be an issue regarding fun.
We still need much more testing though, come back in a few hours and we’ll rant about everything 😂
Well its here for couple of hours. UI looks better, even tho I think image of illuvial/augment in tooltip is too big. about balance, hard to tell, but from patch notes looks like rhamphyre is gonna dominate, but it takes time to figure out comps
I have not read the entire thing yet - had the kiddos - but I'm scared with the change to Inferno and wondering if 7x linear comps are gonna be a pita. Overall, I like the direction of getting away from all these sustain comps. Happy to see Mystic tweaked - I love those Illuvials, so hoping they still see play, just not in every. single. comp.
I would also like to have seen something done to tame empowered strike a touch - I don't agree that it's in a good spot - mainly because, last patch, every team benefitted from having the 2 behemoth's in it (and 2 mystics) - because they are waaaay too strong. Dust is gonna be even worse than it already was and is easily the most head scratching thing I've read thus far - although Wildfire could also be an issue now. Spore changes are a head scratcher. I can't stand the leecher mechanic, so very unhappy to see more of that (personally hated) mechanic. It seems that just when stuff becomes playable it gets an inexplicable buff to make it unbearable and I'm very concerned we've seen that in multiple areas this patch.
If anyone finds a way to play invokers into all this, they should just be crowned king of illuvium and given a 1/1 NFT to commemorate their historic achievement.

I am wondering if this is finally the patch where aggro has some hopes of finishing out games before control takes over. With the Rogue changes and Dust being wtf insane - I guess the answer is: We'll see. But, mostly it'll be the boost to these 20 cost augments that puts us over the top. 20 cost Razor assim + 20 cost Syn booster early on could spell some trouble maybe? 20% crit for 20mp... yeah, that's strong as well.
Wow - just read 200 shield for 20MP now on Syn field??? The reversion on Parasitic Link feels regressive to me.

It's not the numbers that are concerning - it's the basic - anti-fun - of the strategy. Here are all these cool abilities that your Illuvials can do - oh but here's this mechanic who's only purpose is to stop those Illuvials from doing their cool moves. And guess what, it's effective - so yay - team A wins by stopping team B from doing anything but auto attack. It's just poor design - IMO.
worst part is how energy is stacked faster, so Rha casts easier. They need to make rha omega more expensive and nerf inferno true damage

Me two, that was the best part of the patch. And also augment non-linearity, which I suggested a while back.
But man, the balancing is utter shit. After playing for 1h you clearly see how broken inferno and rha are right now.
It goes back to my main complaint - broken stuff does not get fixed, it just gets "countered" with more broken stuff.
I mean the meta last patch was quite right, all it needed was a buff on damage dealer classes and a slight nerf on bw. But lol, I think rha was already strong last patch. Now is fucking insane.
Rhamphyre was in a decent spot, but I think there is a fundamental issue with the design of the game. Way too much stuff is passive, global, do nothing, it just happens. Including the strongest affinity in the game - inferno. Just a global 3% max health true damage to every enemy illuvial. Who could have predicted this would be bad for the game?
And the counter play to that? Just a global energy leech.

Rhamphyre was mainly present in those comps as a response to psions. If someone swapped to psions/invokers, then the Rhamphyre was played, otherwise, benched.
As a general note, you should give it more time. The patch was just released, and there are not many comps discovered/played. There are lots of things that can beat Rhamphyre anyway.
With respect (seriously) - this is only partially true. I know of at least 2 top players who exclusively played Rhamphyre decks to great success over the last 2 weeks or so. There were also, many players who had it in their deck to deal with Psions - that's true, but we also had a healthy percentage of top players playing it exclusively to much success.
Really curious to see what counter rha with proper team design and augments on him. My guess: Nothing does.
Probably just keep him grounded with energy reduction/cc - but that's only half the battle.

So I'm not really high elo or anything, I am only about 1400-1500, but tbh I hated the last patch as there were only 2 comps played - verdant berserkers or verdant behemoths, with most of the rounds going to overtime. Fun Fun.
I honestly much prefer this patch where there are multiple comps available. I don't feel that rha is such a big problem tbh, I feel like I am doing a good job countering it with air, gyro, good positioning and such. When I lose, I feel like I lose because of my bad positioning, which is way better than last patch when positioning felt redundant sometimes.
Idk, I just enjoy having more than 2 comps to play I guess. Anyway, before jumping to conclusions, I'll keep trying stuff. I feel like everyone should do this instead of complaining.

3 inferno alone is hard to get, your opponent has to let you have the augment. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but my opponents never give me the inferno aug, they always 3-bid it.
Also don't forget that the inferno units have to be alive to deal that damage, they are pretty squishy, usually the ranger dies pretty fast
Anyway, I'll just wait to see what the streamers come up with, I'm curious to see if it's really as broken as people consider it only a few hours after the patch

Actually, 2 inferno, which means 6% hp as true damage per second to the entire enemy team is fucking nuts. You kill all the enemy team with 17 seconds by only staying alive. It doesn't matter how tanky they are. Don't tell me this isn't insanely strong as you read it. It should be like 1%-2%-3% or smthing like this for it to be balanced.

But in the case of Rhamphyre its simple, A 100 mastery cost Rhamphyre should have a considerate value counterplay. If there's no 90 mastery cost combination that can effectively stop it before it casts Even if thats 1 illuvial and an augment or whatever, then u need to build an entire team around stopping it which isn't fun cause teambuilding happens beforehand. This is just how I view the problem, not to say thats even possible

Scaling energy from attacks based on base attack speed. (Slower illuvials gain more energy). Taking damage converts to energy based on the pre mitigated value.

The distribution maybe a little delayed. But the snapshot was taken on time. It sounds like they are not including the ineligible accounts for the 1000 top leaderboard ranks count and will bump lower ranked players up into eligibility
Cool to know, did you plan to create LB where you see your actual place, without non eligible accounts? Or do we have to count out real places manually?

There was only a number changed. That number impacted the energy received based on the damage taken.
We posted an example in the patch notes. In most cases, the units barely gained energy, for example, if Phorus dealt 20 damage in Gnarl, the gain would be around 0.5, resulting in the games being very slow.
So just on damage taken right? Patch notes indicate dealing or receiving.
That's 100% a typo from me. Yes, just the damage taken is impacted.

Energy from damage works like this:
We find out how much health was lost (you don't gain energy from your shield getting hit, or while invulnerable). Then we multiply that by the ratio of pre to post mitigation damage, which works out how much pre mitigation damage went into your health loss.
Then we multiply that by the energy per damage constant. This tells you how much energy you should gain from that pre mitigation damage.
The constant was adjusted. That's the only thing that changed.
That explains why gnarl be casting like 20 time a match

Goddd, after 3 updated this game is still stupidd.. Me iluvials don't take damage, omega ability doesn't take damage for no reason, if they get stun after giving omega, again it doesn't take damage. because of that i lose a lot of matches... I hope there are bugs and that's not how the game works.
likewise my rhamphyre rises in the air giving omega ability and surprise 0 damage, and it's not that I don't understand how the game works. and many other similar problems.
If you have bugs please report in the in-game reporter (Press B) so we can investigate any issues

I would think if you want thousands more matches worth of data on an Illuvial or a Synergy, etc, then you buff them and people will use them a lot and boom! you now have thousands more datapoints.
Though there is some balancing going on, but right now might be more about gathering data and the real balancing will come later?
If this is the strategy, a simple heads up would alleviate a ton of concern. I have serious concerns if they are truly dropping these patches thinking they are balanced.

Feel like I need to step in for my team here. This is a beta. We're testing and exploring options and mechanics. At no point have we ever stated the game will be balanced as that is very honestly - not our priority during a beta.

Inferno from our data whilst strong, is hardly unbeatable.
2 comps during our limited internal testing wiped it reliably.
When you can cheaply pivot from a comp to another, it doesnt matter two comps realiably win.
Its autolose against anything else besides those 2 comps. Inferno is so freaking strong you need to invest all your resources into countering it. Then the other player can cheaply switch comp and beat you cause you were only prepared to win inferno.
When a composite is so ridiculosuly strong that shit on anything unless 2 specific comps, the experience leans towards almost everyone playing rha. 52% wr is reasonable if 90% of decks are running rha..
When I say cheap switch I mean that you switch literally two units and you shit on the inferno counters.
4.47% playrate.
I mean, its only been a day and people have already come up with 3 decks that will beat rhampyre every time

idk I try to stay out of the "balance" talks, as it usually isn´t getting anywhere, but it is funny to me, that the complaint is on inferno, which you can still beat with shields/heal etc., easily, but now you can´t face tank entire rhamph omega+ inferno anymore, the unit was literally useless unless vs 1000hp no resistance no resolve aka psion units or if it hit the lucky crits on both berserker or something
from the example given we know we get 5 energy/100 dmg if I am not mistaken and aaron said it counts pre mitigation dmg, isn´t that all there is to know?

That is literally the formula, just in words.

HL = health lost (shield does not count as health lost)
PreM = Premitigation Damage (the damage input)
PostM = Postmitigation Damage (the damage after resistances)
E = Energy per unit health lost
Note: I have not slept, so if there's an error in that, it's your fault in reading bad, not my fault in getting it wrong

You're confusing things. If you HIT someone, then you get a fixed amount of energy based on your base attack speed. Slower attackers gain more, so that roughly if you are hitting consistently two units will gain energy at the same pace. Then if you increase the attack speed, it will scale up with that.
If you GET HIT, then the formula above works. And yes, if you are invulnerable, or have a big shield, you don't gain energy until you start taking HEALTH damage.
This allows us to not lock in units like they do in some other games where after your omega, you would be locked out of energy gain for the duration of the ability.
So for us, we can allow much more 'shield fantasy' if you can get enough units putting shields on someone.

E = C / Base Attack Speed (per hit)
C is a constant

No, the bonus for water is simply a fixed amount of energy every x seconds.

It's not at all related to attacking or being attacked. It just happens.
Think of it this way:
Your energy is a bucket
Water Synergy is a hose going into the bucket.
Attacking is like scooping water from a lake using a cup, and putting it in your bucket.
Being attacked is like you bleed all over the place, and that blood is converted to water and put in your bucket. But the tougher you are, the more energy is in your blood.

Yes. And then you multiply that by your energy gain efficiency which basically says sometimes if you have the right buff, you might get a boost of 2x
Any unit can have energy regeneration, or a buff that gives that, etc...

All units start at 100% (which means don't change anything) and then during the battle, buffs can increase this and debuffs can decrease this.
If I debuff you to 50% you'll only gain 1/2 of what you should.
if you get buffed to 200% you'll gain double what you should.

I created a second account and am now higher than my initial account. I never linked a wallet, but in Illuvium Play (team builder etc.) it shows that the second account is also linked to my wallet from the main account. Do I need to set up a new wallet and link that in order to be eligable to get rewards? or is it ok to have the same wallet and just put the names correct (Beinholz being main and Beinholz2 being smurf)
