I am Swiss, But it changes nothing in that case haha.
Swiss round mean You play against an opponent. If you win, you are gonna play against another opponent that won too, If you loose you play against someone who lost first match. And it create a good seeding for a final phase then.
It's just more accessible for a diversity of level and still have fun during the qualification matches.

Yes there will be these type of tournaments. I know I will host some. Everyone should be able to play in a bracket they find enjoyable. There just can't be any rewards or players will do what everyone else has stated. And Unfortunately more experienced player may still make smurf accounts just to satisfy their complex.

i believe you must have the synergy activated in your team. e.g from my example above, if you have 3 earth in your team the dominnant synergy of magma would gain a % of those bonuses too

for example a magma sear doesnt benefit from 3 earth anymore as far as i know, doesnt matter if he is earth or fire dominant

it only matters of what it goes hyper against

also if its fighter or bullwark it doesnt benefit from the primaries anymore but gets the bonus that is associated with the class... so hyper fighters gets attack speed and pierce or whatever and bullwark gets some healing and more tankyness

they removed that, then they removed the composites counting towards primaries aka your granite didnt now also give you 2 earth stacks

and it makes sense that now it continues with primaries no longer giving the full bonus to the composites

aka if you have 3 water and its 5 regen for water units and 2 for all other units, you will probably get only 2 regen on your steam units from the water primary

Same for affinities .. hope it makes sense
