It is in an incomplete state atm. I think it is more than fair to acknowledge that the game obviously has incredible potential for PVP to be the most entertaining auto battler by far by simply looking at the pieces it has available right now and still think that in its current form it is not fun enough to keep my attention until those pieces are put together properly.

I would also like to state that I know many people who feel the same way and if they didn't they would not be here to begin with.

First part of this is highly debatable 😏 I was forming tournaments before you were even in this ecosystem. Not to mention the best competitive structures 😎 But will totally support the second half of your statement. I believe any large funded tournaments will just entertain the degens who are always active here and not bring any new players. Its better to save up and spend when the game is in an active state.

I think we need regular weekly competitions, not one-off competitions, to attract users!
PVP in Q3 still does not bring any benefit to DAOs or stakers and does not require a high reward, but I think it would be better to have it than nothing, and it would attract more users!
I'm sure some of the ones that left will come back, but if nothing else they will stop again after another little bit of play!

Funding for development is limited, and sales of the illuvitars WAVE2 show that the runway is not enough.
If Q3 PVP does not attract some users, there will be selling pressure from stakers.
I think the drop in ILV will make financing more difficult.
I believe we should take action from the PVP in Q3.
I think it would be a good to do what I suggested before, such as handing out the Disks of the iluvitars to the 20 people on the leader board, and see what effect that has.

Tournaments are actually going to bring in the complete opposite of crypto degens. It will bring in REAL web2 gamers that can see a future in the game. Tournaments should not be looked at as optional but necessary once PvP gets to a state where it is reliable (no crashes, few bugs, etc). Remember that esports is not for making money it is a marketing tool to promote the competitive aspect of a game for the sake of user retention.

We definitely need some kind of reliable and consistent tournament structure whether that be grass roots, from labs, or from the DAO itself

They are in almost every country in the world and in almost every binder because they are accessible! Crypto isn't like that you need a wallet a computer a phone and a bunch of money then pray you don't get hacked! Most of these things web2 gamers have but a lot do not! Pokemon doesn't have bear markets or bull runs they have a transcendent value for collectors and enthusiasts! The vibe I get is that the more illuvitars are given away the less value they have for the people that bought them and this in my opinion is the wrong way to think about it! dont bother too much with augments, they are getting remade for when pvp comes out in about 3 weeks

but generally for now: purple = defense, goes on tanks ... orange = offense, goes on carries... grey = support, goes on something close to your carries to buff them

Then just check for saccarines

Saccarine is busted in comparison to a lot of the other augments as a concept

It encourages the game to play out in a unique way tho which I really appreciate in a PvP setting tbh

Tbh, these are the three most broken augments that make late opposing boards hard.

But, as was already mentioned, augments are undergoing a rework for the next release, so don't worry too much about the exact specifics of the current ones. The main things to think about are defensive stats make your units survive longer, offensive stats make your units do more damage, and other utility type effects do other utility type things. Just read the effects and think about which situations they might be useful in. @onyx sundial

For instance do shields from omegas? What about shields from passives like mystic or enchanter? Or wildfire/poison/magma dps etc? Or attack speed/amp bonuses from omegas that crit, etc.

crit is a damage multiplier. It can affect anything that does damage. Nothing else. By default, omegas can't crit.

There are three points to this WAVE
1.Defeat Dualeph first
2.To recover the left side faster, Adorius' augment should be Attack Speed and Omega Power.
LightsChosen is attached to the gorilla
3.Blotto needs to be defeated. I have put in Flare to solve this problem.
If all of this works, you can clear it but very difficult!

The backend is fully featured, what remains is polishing and resolving any bugs.

Is it possible to release the full version of the survival mode first and introduce a ranking system?
Even if the arena crashes a bit now, it does not affect the ranking that much.
I hope to have weekly one-day tournaments and attract over 1,000 users daily by the time PVP is released!
And if we can get more users when PVP is released, I think our marketing will be more successful!
I know you guys are working hard on PVP development, I just think it's important to get more users with the game we have now in order to get future PVP users if you think it will still take a long time for PVP.
I think some people will be angry if that delays the release of PVP because it requires a certain amount of resources.
So please consider this as an idea, and if you can release PVP in Q4, forget about it completely!
