No worries, thank you very much for your help Thesize!
Wait, they will see and help, they always do !
@cunning perch
I hope so Hiroo
I m here since last June, and they always respond to problems, just chill, nothing you can do anyway š
I already asked a mod with more experience to give this a look. Just be patient for somebody to react. Don't respond to any DM's.
See š
Also, not sure how is this possible.. Is my first time using metamask.. š¦
I mean, I have used it but just for testing purposes in the testing environment for a developments I did
Hi a noob question, where to see the distribution in Epoch 20? I staked ILV but didn't see any distribution to me
It s live time, you should see it in your dashboard
yeah I didn't see the distribution at dashboard, I staked ILV pool on 31 Mar when V2 is live
where will the distribution fall under in Dashboard?
Rewards
I just had a quick look - It looks like you probably have a compromised wallet to me. You can see on Etherscan - about 7h 30m ago you Approved ILV on the staking website, and then about 4h ago you transferred ILV out of the wallet to 0xf84d...
I'm not seeing any normal staking action ever being registered on Etherscan. You Approved the token for spending, but did not stake.
I also checked out the wallet the ILV was sent to - It's a relatively fresh wallet, with holdings on quite a few chains, most of the transactions it has are IN. That's also pretty normal for a scammer's wallet.
If you didn't initiate that transfer, it HAD to have been someone else with access to your MM. You can see they cleaned most of your ETH out 3 mins after the ILV as well. Unfortunately, there's almost nothing you can do to get your tokens back. I'd do some research and figure out how your MM wallet got compromised. I'd also avoid putting any more funds into that wallet (or any wallet) until you can figure out how someone got access to the wallet.
I've just claimed (1st time)
I only can see my ILV balance went up with the claimed amount, but in the VEsted tab its not appeared.
It should have?
Thanks for double checking, I was afraid this was the case š¦
Are you sure 100%? Is there any possibility that maybe that was a bug or something?
Yeah, check some of this for yourself. A normal stake looks like this: https://etherscan.io/tx/0x956f42ac1b5cd668fa897f3b8de192298c64519a262483b3870edf34317e7eb1
(just a random wallet I pulled that staked recently)
You can see the "To:" field is to Illuvium: Migrate" (The normal staking contract).
In your transaction, it's just an ILV transfer.
vs. normal stake:
The function being used is different for a stake and a transfer, and yours definitely got transferred.
I see my Pending Rewards remained the same, there is no increase.
Just the pending rewards i am suppose to get for staking 15 days
How much distribution am I suppose to get for staking 10 ILV for 1 year?
But look at this one: https://etherscan.io/tx/0x61d4dbfee1025f892655826e8e7162011a755142b1d9464e0d03a3d855c34fdb It says Illuvium Migrate too.. I clicked on the metamast blockexplorer
It says:
ApprovedILVFor Trade OnIlluvium: Migrate
Yeah, that was the Approval you did about 7.5 hours ago. It went through successfully, but an approval is not a stake.
You can see it explicitly in the Function it used (click to see more at the bottom right in Etherscan).
Any time you're interacting with a new contract, you typically have to approve tokens for spending, which is a seperate transaction.
That's likely just a display error - try clearing cache, making sure everything is updated (wallet/browser) and restarting your computer.
Total ILV Pool Value US$ 723,647,164.79
ILV Price US$ 534.87
Total ILV Staked 1,352,940.27 ILV
ILV Staked 10 ILV
ILV Distribution 10,725 ILV
Expected Distribution 10/1,352,940.27* 10,725 = 0.079271792 ILV
Is my calculation correct?
Am I suppose to expect to receive distribution of 0.08 ILV under Pending Rewards?
My daily ILV Earned is 0.006 ILV, staking for 15 days is 0.09 ILV which is what my pending rewards currently show now
with distribution it should be 0.17 ILV ?
Just to check - You are seeing .09 ILV in Pending Rewards, correct? And also in the Rewards tab?
yes correct
And you initially staked on March 31st for 10 ILV.
correct
Your pending rewards are correct then, that's what you'd expect.
what about the distribution for Epoch 20?
That is the distribution for epoch 20?
22% APY / 365 days = .0603% yield per day. Multiply by 15 days, multiply by 10 tokens, and divide by 100 (cause we want tokens, not %) and you have .09 ILV expected.
Rewards go out every block. This epoch started like, yesterday (in my timezone).
It's not a lump payment at the end of an epoch or anything.
That .09 includes rewards from Epoch 20 and Epoch 21 (current epoch).
Does that make sense or did I misunderstand the question?
So basically every claim should be appear in the vested tab? š Ty
it is here now, ty restarted the browser š
Yeah, it will appear with "Rewards" in the Source column.
ooooh, understood now, so the 22% APY is actually comes from the distribution of every Epoch?
I thought that I get 22% APY and a lump sum at the end of each Epoch
Thanks for explaining
Ah I gotcha. Yeah, the yield is just the distribution crunched down into an APR or APY. It's not separate from the APR.
No problem at all!
How do I know if my hardware wallet is compromised? All this exploits are making me uneasy.
Same question but for metamask. How can you get "infected"?
The most obvious sign is all your stuff goes missing.
Is there anyway to know if your wallet is compromised before all your stuffs go missing? Purpose of question is to know when to move all your stuffs to a new wallet before stuffs go missing :-(
Malicious software could do it, approving your wallet on sketchy random websites could do it, literally sharing your seed phrase with a scammer could do it. Screen sharing your MM wallet could do it. There's many more ways than I could list here, and I'm not really an expert on how scammers compromise wallets.
It's been mentioned before, but you should NOT use your main holding wallet as an every day driver. If you're minting NFTs or doing anything you're remotely uncomfortable with, use a throwaway wallet with nothing more than you need in it.
If you have a computer that is shared, or someone has access. They could always upload malicious software. If you download weird stuff, you could have a keylogger or a screen sharer.
Usually not, no. Scammers don't typically wait around to take all your stuff, as soon as they have access they typically steal everything.
Sometimes your wallet is fine but the website you go to could be a fake one and take all your stuff as well. I know I was scared my MM was hacked as I made it so I sent like 200$ eth to see if anyone would steal it for like a month lol
Taking screenshots of your seed phrase and having them upload to the cloud could do it. (Or just having someone access that file on your computer).
What if you send an nft from a compromised wallet to a non comprosimed one. Is that fine?(considering they dont do it before you)
I think the problem in my case was a fake website.. I saw that I had a conection to a illuvium clone..
But I didn't know they could just take everything just by being connected to them. .
Thats why i did it in my awful handwriting š§
No, moving legitimate assets to a new wallet won't compromise your new wallet. But more than likely, the scammer will have stolen your ETH with a bot before you get a chance.
Yeah oke fair
Lk guys, I lost 1ILV / $500... I can't believe it!! š¦ š¦
Can this happen if you're using a hardware wallet? If you're using a hardware wallet, the only ways assets can be stolen are if you approve the transaction yourself and if your seed phrase is compromised right?
That's really unfortunate š¦ We always recommend using #šćhelpful-links to navigate to the official website.
Sorry for your loss
I wish you saw how scared I was when I uploaded my ETH\ILV to make my SLP. I thought it was gonna get scooped up and I was doing it as fast as possible lol
The website I went was ok, but it seems that my metamask had another connection there to a clone..
Is it possible that they can just take everything just by having my metamask connected to their site?? Or they need to have my phrase?? Not sure how is that possible..
I don't even know what is my phrase, I have it SO SECURE!!!
I had everything secured in binance.. I just wanted to stake a little bit.. š¦ what a bad day..
If you are sure you didn't access the clone site and make a connection, your computer could be infected with virus
Yeah, connecting to a fraudulent website can cause that to happen.
@mighty rover With a hardware wallet, you have to approve the transaction with the hardware wallet.
I had that connection to a clone... Also this laptop I'm using is like a shell, because I work for HP, and their machines come with high end security for that.. Even VPN and everything.. that was my first time opening metamask in here!! I think it was because of that connection I had..
Do you know if I can us a 2 factor authentication in metamask? I didn't see that option, but if you know if thats possible, should be really useful.
I'm not certain why MM doesn't offer that as a security option to be honest. It seems overdue to me. Some people want full anonymity, but if it were an optional feature it wouldn't impinge on anyone.
I think authenticator would defeat the purpose of a non-custodial wallet.
It would have to be stored on some central server right?
Yes, wouldn't necessarily NEED to be central, but it would be information stored about users. That's probably why it's not a thing. I still think it would be a good option to provide for people who want it.
if you approved a token spending on a malicious web, then yes they can drain your wallet. But i dnt think they can read your seed. Next time you can try to make many wallets on one seed for different purposes. Multi wallets kinda limit your exposure
And yes you need a "holding wallet" with a different seed. This "holding wallet" should never connect to anything
There's probably a solution to link a wallet to a non centralized authenticator app that doesn't collect your information. You'd need basically a seed phrase for authenticator recovery, but something like that could work. At that point, you could just get a hardware wallet though.
So you can make multiple wallets on same metamask seed phrase? Does it cost a fee to transfer tokens/nfts to each other?
Yes, yes
Is it gas fees or less?
just click add account
the fee to transfer between account is less expensive
one time i transfered all of my eth to a new account, and i forgot to transfer the other tokens. Fun
One time I bridged ETH to a BSC address (which I owned).. the process to recover that ETH was not enjoyable for me.
Oof
you got it recovered??
Isnt it cheaper to get a hardware wallet?
I once withdrew my ILV from cc bot to my wallet and it never arrived š¦
Well yeah, it was like $500 of ETH. The problem was there was a minimum to use the bridge at all, so I ended up blowing probably $80-100 in transfer and bridging fees in the process.
So 0.12 ILV burned š
i like to use separate my wallets for different purposes and projects.
i got a wallet for:
- minting
- giveaway
- WL
- etc
How does the slp pool show an apy when there is no compounding? The only way to really compound is to claim and then itās staked in the ILV pool then instead right? Is the apy on the slp pool including the Apr that the ILV pool provides once you claim the ILV ?
The APY assumes 12 claims a year. It pops up with that info if you mouse over it.
Thanks. But when you claim it goes into the other pool right? Or am I wrong on that?
That's correct, claimed ILV rewards are automatically staked in the ILV core pool for 12 months.
Which is why the APY isn't much much higher on the SLP pool. If rewards were claimable as SLP tokens, that number would be much higher.
Yep. Yep. I get that. So to clarify, the additional %shown in the slp pool between the Apr and apy is actually including the return rate of the OTHER pool that your claimed rewards go into. So you are never earning the slp apy AND the ilv pool Apr. because the slp pool apy displayed is already accounting for the return you get on claimed rewards being placed in the other pool. Yes/no?
So you are never earning the slp apy AND the ilv pool Apr. -< This line is correct.
It's not SLP APY + ILV APR, it's SLP APR + ILV APR, -OR- SLP APY.
wow more than 70% circulating supply staked. No wonder the APy getting lower so fast nowdays
Does this mean that hardware wallet can only be compromised if you yourself approve fraudulent transaction and/or if your hardware wallet's seed is compromised?
WOOO just got my first v2 stake claim at 2 weeks 3.3 ILV w/ 28 gas LET'S GO
I staked August 11 2021, so my vesting period should be up by August 11 2022 but when I migrated to V2 the rewards I claimed today got automatically staked for another year (should end April 15, 2023). No option to change the vesting period of the rewards from v1?
Every time you claim rewards, a timer starts for a 12 month vesting period for those rewards.
When you have ilv staked with the old lock of 1 year and 2.0 weight. New stakes need to be locked for 12 or 24 months to have the same weight?
Nothing can be locked for 24 months. You have to lock for 12 month to get 2X weight yeah (new deposits)
Thanks, i know there were some talks about 24 month lock, so just checking
It was proposed in the first V2 IIP back in 2021. Didn't get passed š
Thanks
Hi, I staked July last year in the ILV/ETH pool, do I need to upgrade to V2?
If you don't upgrade, you won't get rewards and RevDis
Question for the community - is anyone else tracking their rewards to check APR? It seems the V2 display has reverted to the calculation that doesn't account for the 3% fortnightly decrease (the equations are in my "Why APY is dumb" article, linked in my profile as the tinyurl). While its nice for a snapshot of current rewards and easier to calculate, its not representative of what will actually happen across a year. Just confirming its not just my stake that is seeing this.
Not I. Hai Deraji
@elder dawn sorry not a math's person i just collect when the reward number is over 1 lol
hey, it doesn't hurt to ask! when you're a data person, you always want more than one example. FYI, my claim strategy is now to claim only when i have between 12-18 ILV available. Based on the current ILV core pool rewards rate, that gives me a payback on my claim transaction of about 2 weeks (meaning it takes 2 weeks for my compounding rewards to offset a $30 gas fee). Putting some new content together here to help others, but wanted to share the rewards drop post V2 claiming made claiming a lot less valuable.
well you are a master of data an maths -----and also a š³ with 12-18 ILV claims
I'm no whale, just lucky to have started staking in the SLP last August. It takes time to get to this level. I know some (most) won't have this level of rewards - just hoping people realize the real value of claiming right now is compounding, but that's not as significant as most think because of the transaction fees. Once revdis starts, claiming will become more valuable
i locked for a year the day staking came out its litttyyyyy
ILV has phenomenol tokenomics its actually crazy
If I have tokens locked up at 1.5x weight and theyāve matured but still havenāt been claimed, will they still count towards rewards accumulation and will they also count towards revdis?
As long as they are upgraded and staked, yeah, they will receive Yield and RevDis
Thanks @cunning perch, also I see youāve come a long way in this space, glad to see the success š
Thx. been here for over a year now š
What happens if i did nothing when v2 staking came out
When I provide liquidity to ILV/WETH pool on sushi, but then stake the SLP tokens. I dont then receive any rewards from the sushi pool? (0.025% of fees)
If you didnt upgrade you wont receive rewards for current stakes and wont receive revdis in the future
so just got 13 ilv , now i am in the great question , which pool should i stake, slp will give me more reward, but impermanet los risk , ilv will give small reward but later on will give me rev dis ...any suggestions?
No suggestion. Its up to you to decide depending on your investment strategy and risk tolerance ;)
what's the current estimated APY for staking?
thanks
Im SLP 100%
the IL for a 400% divergence is less than 10% lol
You will receive the sushi fees when you exit out of the staking pool. No need to worry about it.
can I ask why is my token locked up at 2.0 weight? is this being set automaticallly?
Itās only weight 2.0 if you lock your tokens for a year
and what does the weight do exactly? my rewards will be doubled?
You will get more rewards basically yes is X amount the APR
Tokens at 2.0 weight get double the rewards of tokens at 1.0 weight.
guys if I locked my SLP for a year, will the reward fluctuate based on the ILV price?
The APY does, yes, but that doesn't impact how many tokens you're getting, just the value of the tokens you're getting relative to the value of your SLP deposit.
I see. thank you!
Is there anyway to convert vesting ILV into sILV2?
I dont believe so
Staking will get interesting wen RevDis cuts in
hey everyone, so much fun stuff happening here - hate to ask a not so fun question. I'm in the US and trying to figure out how to report my staking rewards on my taxes, does anyone have any tips for how I can figure out (a) how to understand how many of the rewards I need to report & (b) where to report it...? Really appreciate you guys!
hey guys, with the updated ILV website, it looks like I have an option to select to stake my rewards from the ILV/ETH pool OR the ILV pool of rewards. Do I actually have the choice or will it stake both no matter what?? @cyan rampart @cunning perch
It would be awesome to delay the ILV reward claim a little bit since that doesn't build up as fast.
I used cointracker to import my wallets and spit out a report of all my transactions, and then recorded all of them on the crypto tax form (8949). I believe there are a couple things on youtube that can help you get there. Unfortunately there's some manual work. It does cost some $.
@lapis niche the simple way to look at it is, whatever your reward is worth when you claim it, thatās what you put down as the price per token and thus āincomeā generated, as staking rewards are considered income. Now to be specific. When you claim ilv and it goes to the lock contract, you arenāt actual claiming it yet. Until the token reaches āyourā crypto wallet, it is not taxable and not considered claimed. Hope that helps. Also keep an eye on legal updates for staking rewards as their are several battles i believe fighting to fix the system so that you only determine the value of token for income tax purposes when you sell it, since liquidity pools can screw you over if you donāt sell right away and the price plummets.
You can claim either
this is so helpful! thanks so much - so just to play that back to make sure I understand. once the tokens have unlocked sometime in 2022, then it will be officially income? and the income that I would be reporting would be the price of ILV when the lock-up period expires? or when I initiated the 1 year lock up countdown?
Awesome - I know previously you didn't have a choice, or if you did, I never found out how.
Previously you didnāt
@lapis niche basically yes, but specifically, even after the lock period ends, if you didnāt claim it for three more years, you would not have a taxable event until you went ahead and claimed it. And then yes, whatever the market price is at the time, thats your income per token.
so when the lock up period expires, I don't have to claim it? I can just restake it and it wouldn't be a taxable event?
If you want to stake it officially in for example the ilv/eth pool you would have to claim it first. I canāt seem to remember right now though if staking rewards are automatically eligible for rev dis though even in the lock contract. Need to read faq or something real quick
Ok. As i thought they are basically staked at a 2.0 weighting so you can get rev dis without ever claiming them officially
I agree with @runic mason , if you claim as ilv, it's automatically locked (staked while vesting) and never appears in your wallet. These ilv will earn staking rewards and revdis, but you never technically had ownership of them. These are paper gains until you withdraw from staking and receive them in your wallet. At that point they are likely viewed as income. That's a key difference to claiming silv2, which may be considered income immediately upon claiming. Revdis would fall under the same situation as well, hitting your wallet, thus being immediate income. For now, there is nothing to report for ilv staking until you withdraw. Nfa of course.
Rev dis as i understand will also likely go to a pool that you can choose when to receive though i donāt think its going to get the auto staking effect.
@elder dawn Do you think that claiming Revdis will cost less or more in gas fees than claiming staking rewards?
It's unclear as it hasn't happened yet. But slcan be more/less the same as it is also dependant on the gas price when claiming
Yeah it will not be auto anything (stake or just claim). Since V2 is upgradable, in the future there can be an option to directly stake it.
Making it like staking rewards with auto 2.0 until claimed would be a worthwhile idea for sure.
people think we will make decent or any revdis from the land auction?
Well there will never be an auto-claim procedure as ppl will get rekt if gas is high. So it will always stay manual unless V3 is operational. Then story changes, but still idk if auto-claiming would still be possible
RevDis discussion is in #š°ćtoken š
Hi guys i made a pool 6 months ago it expired and it continue staking how do i see the% that pays or the number of week I put when i create
I want to calculate how many weeks i need to put now to win the same rate
I donāt mean auto claim but rather auto rev dis integration like how it works when you decide you want ilv as your reward from staking. It gets rev dis automatically
So rev dis automatically gets say 1.0 weighting since its unlocked from the start, reduces selling pressure since people can get compounding rev dis without having to take the tax liability
It is unlocked, but it is not staked/claimed, therefore it receives 0 weight. It acts like unclaimed rewards. So it can never receive any weight and whatever feature staked tokens receive
@cunning perch i guess it wouldnāt be as simple to implement as iād hope since we do have to do a transaction i suppose in order for staking rewards to get rev dis wheras rev dis itself will just be in a pool we can claim from.
Yep. RevDis is something different than Yield and therefor will be treated differently. So I suppose stakers having the option of staking directly without having to claim RevDis can be a huge plus. Other than that, it just have to be claimed or it will have no effect
Can you suggest me a trustworthy place where to buy sILV2 token?
There is no Trustworthy place. Any sILV2 purchase should be done at oneās own discretion, but Uniswap is the one ppl usually interact with.
I see thank you: where can I find the exact token Id?
Ty
@cunning perch yep, lots of potential improvements to be considered but for now, too much on the teams plate as it is
Hey guys can anyone tell me if im doing the withdraw wrong? I just upgraded both pools from v1 to v2 and have the ILV unlocked and have the withdraw button available, I pressed it, and paid for speed limit but its not allowing me to claim /withdraw the ILV I have so I can restake it with the sILV pool , am I supposed to pay twice to withdraw?
Go to the vesting tab and check what 'weight' the deposit has. The new staking options are a little different so you might not be able to match the weight exactly but you should be able to do about the same amount of time.
Can Someone explain me how its possible that there is a total amount of 960 million staked but the marketcap is only around 350 Million?
The market cap only includes circulating supply. A large number of the tokens in the ILV pool are from staking rewards and are in their 12 month vesting period so they count as staked but not circulating.
Also the ETH staked in the ETH/ILV pool may count toward the staked total as well, im not sure though.
Is it still possible to buy ILV on sushi swap? It shows 'legacy' ILV when trying to buy
yes, definitely, but i don't see any 'legacy'. I navigated to app.sushi.com > trade > swap and selected ilv as the destination coin.
HI I followed Scoots suggestion in importing my Metamask to Celo waller, its been created but where do I go now I dont see anything coming up
Did you get a dm from someone? That might be impersonator trying to be someone else and scamming you. Don't trust them.
Yes he was a scammer and took everything
Never connect to anything youāre not 100% about
What can I do about my Iluvium, they took the ILV that was in there unlocked, thats what they were helping me with, then took me to CELO, sighs I knew it, what can I do about my Metamask now plse
sorry to hear about this. If you are able to recover anything. Move it to a fresh new metamask wallet with a ledger or some form of hardware integration
This is crazy I have only whats there staked , is that compromised... this is disappointing... thanks
If it locked you still have a chance. When it unlocks you need to beat them to it and move it before they do
Yes I will, find out how to do all of that.. am looking at my BSC they took that too
never never never enter a private chat
0x70c83233c2eb2d5a2334a59eff98a2922bb5abd6 there wallet address
outgoing to this address 0xa88902d6e93922893ee77234ed1c3ba4bec90224
Who can I contact to disconnect that wallet? If anyone knows, I appreciate the info.
Sorry I can't help you any further, but maybe if you post in the #āāćcommunity-help channel someone could.
I just did .. thanks all.. and hope we all stay cautious unlike me where it wasn't enough, Celo is legit, but its easy to get taken for when u need help
Was your wallet compromised because you followed links from private DMs? I've been more worried about my personal wallet recently.
yes 2 of them informed me of celo which raised a flag, then I pondered and even told them it seemed like they were phishing since it asks for importing the metamask wallet, I never heard of Celo so I searched it like they suggested.. and tried to trust...and failed again
I see. Sorry for your loss, but thanks for the info. We'll all be more cautious.
Iām sorry it happened. I fell for pretty much the same things a few months back, it really sucked. It happens! But at least it wonāt happen again š
For the upcoming Landsales - do we have any benefit of having staked (other than the rewards)?
Revdis
Hello. I am now able to withdraw my LP staking pool from V1. Upgrade to V2 has been done already.
I am going to continue with LP pool, but I want to transfer tokens fra LP pool when withdrawing this to another address wallet and have it secured by a cold wallet. If I do this so LP pool will be on the other account making my whole account to be split into 2 different accounts. My question is how is it going to affect my Rev dis? It will not be adding to the already accumulated staked ILV tokens on the old account making Rev dis smaller than it otherwise would be if ILV tokens would continue to be added on the same account. Any suggestion on how to choose the best option here is appreciated, thanks.
my SLP pool is unlocked and was withdrawn already. How do I send my SLP to another wallet? I thought SLP would be split into ETH and ILV, but it did not. I am confused now how SLP can be send to another wallet...
How you made the SLP in the first place. Do the opposite. You'll need to split it yourself
I set the amount on sushiswap using ETH + ilv sushiswap waited for the Approved ILV For Trade now what how do i do the next step to get SLP token ?
need to add liquidity on sushiswap. ILV and ETH in equal dollar amount. this will give you your SLP token. then head to illuvium staking site to stake your SLP
I just did this and nothing the Eth is still in my meta mask but its says approved ??
You approved to be able to spend or to stake? First you have to approve spending
spend
what's the next step?
you need to approve the use of eth and ILV first. after approving, then you can provide liquidity
Go watch some YouTube videos it's really easy
where is the approved button at ?
should pop up in your metamask
I give the Ultimate Breakdown of the different ways you can stake in Illuvium! There is a lot to cover and a lot to learn so please bare with me. the ILV/ETH pool has been hovering around 300% APY for a long time and I am here to help you learn how to take advantage of this amazing opportunity. Watch this video and learn how to stake now!
Staki...
^
check out this video, under how to add liquidity
https://youtu.be/BXO3l6fYNxQ?t=1024 im at the part right before you he hits confirm add liquidity cause I did not have that button
so what does your button show now?
it should either be 'approve ILV' or 'confirm add liquidity'
whats the recommended gas and limit to upgrade to v2 staking today? pls help. i already have 2 failed transactions yesterday. thanks
got it thanks
It should be less than 250k. But for someone it took like 350k...
ok thanks
RevDis question. Do we know how we would receive revdis (in ETH or ILV for example), how often, and if it needs to be staked for 12 months when claimed? I can imagine itās just like the staking reward mechanic but want to confirm. Thanks
revdis is not staked
revdis is distributed in ILV
you just need to pay gas fee
Revdis will be bought at random times by the treasury so it doesn't allow anyone to front run it.
It will be through the staking site that they pay it out. You can actually see a tab ready for future claims.
They will also not be locked in for 12 months and can be claimed when the staker wishes to.
is silv2 available through uniswap all the time? I'm not seeing it right now.
Copy the address of sILV2 that can be found on #šćhelpful-links
thanks, I'll give it a try
it does bring up sILV2 when I paste the address but it says it's not on the active token list. perhaps I'm in the wrong place, I went to uniswap.org, not sure that was right.
Hmm.. not sure when I paste the address it shows sILV2 and states - Escrowed Illuvium 2 ⢠Added by user
thanks, got it
Does ILV staked in V1 still earning yields?
I found I still have some ILV staked in V1 on the vesting page and it's currently unlocked. Do I have to withdraw and restake them to V2?
So all you have to do is OWN ILV in a wallet, and you can access revdis payouts then?
Correct. Youāll need to upgrade to V2 staking to keep earning yield
No, you need to be staking ILV to earn RevDis. What he meant is that the RevDis payout is unlocked and unstaked ILV
It is not possible to sent SLP to another wallet? must i first have to split them again ( sushi swap in my case ) in eth + ilv and then i can send them ?
Are you wanting to send the SLP to another wallet then stake it again?
ths'ts the idea
Good question. I think it might be possible as you can see the SLP token in Metamask. Iād suggest Google, I saw a free results and videos but havenāt done it myself before
I think you can send it just like any other token
Agree it would be easier and cheaper than splitting it then combining it again
Yeah like aaron said you should see it in metamask. But if you don't you can add it manually using the address in #šćhelpful-links
Important note here. Don't trust any dm. Assume they're all scammers.
sure, already fallen 3 months ago
Oh sorry to hear that
are you talking of the adress of the SLP token ?
Yes
i already have it in metamask since i staked
@earnest wigeon about evey 15 seconds or so.
You have 2 options when claiming rewards every time you claim though out the year
1 - Claim ILV - this automatically vest you reward for 12 months at 2x weight
2 Claim sIlv-2 - this has no vesting period
the choice prevent the other from being minted
please see this it has more info on staking itself that may answer whatever questions you may have
you to need to DYOR and find out what works best for you
you will need tto pay gas every time you claim rewardi ts ultimately the end users responsibility they are tracking the gas level and amount of reward they are claiming to make sure they are not spending $50 in gas to claim $10
thank you very much!
Is that right that the landowner produces 5% of the fuel and the dao 95%? And the money the dao is making from it will all go to the stakers?
Sounds correct
How does the dao produces fuel?
I donāt think it uses land, might just generate it from a contract and just makes sure that 1 in every 20 fuel is from / proceeds are directed to land owners but I imagine someone else will give a n official answer. @vapid gale maybe try #š®ćilluvium-zero might get more people knowledgable on it there
Every time a land owner swaps Fuel in the LP, the DAO tap mints 19 Fuel.
Hey, Iām kinda new to this world so please donāt attack me;Iām very bullish on ILV, I think the game is great and I believe in the team a lot.
If I plan to hold for a year, the best play for me is the ILV/Eth pool? I know thereās risk of impermanent losses, but the 270% apy is kinda hard to resist
Yeah that apy is good.
Donāt trust DMs.
Did you try the ILV staking?
90%ilv/10%ethilv from day 1.
My only regret concerning illuvium is not going 100%eth/ILV. But I was a noob back then.
100% SLP FOR ME
Can someone explain to me what is imparmanent losses? I keep reading this concerning the eth/ilv pool but i have no idea
see my articles linked here. #š„©ćstaking message in short, the further the price of the two assets diverge, the greater your "loss" relative to just holding ETH and ILV and not pooling them.
dnt worry about it a 400% divergence only cost less than 10% lost
For 1 year?
the first token unlocks will drive the price down right? Is it worth to stake slp for just a month and sell before unlock?
Very informative, thanks a lot & good work!!
Higher apy. Removes the possibility of short term trading. Iām committed. In reality my deposits are probably never being sold. So why not lock it for a year. Iād lock it for more if needed.
@gloomy gazelle i may change that in 23 if i think that spending the ETH half on more ILV will increase revdis to a point it ou matches slp
just be wary about gas fee
Yeah itās possible. But I like feeling like Iām helping provide something else back to the project⦠liquidity.
that's true guess I figure I'm not a whale so it wont matter that much.
We're all in it together, baby. Though Luggis is definitely "giving the most back to the project" in terms of providing liquidity.
I tried claiming when gas was at 13 gwei and it failed because of this on etherscan " Error encountered during contract execution [Out of gas] "
anyone else run into this problem?
Lol yeah. My lp is so small.
Mmm did you reduce the limit?
How long was it pending before it failed? What wallet did you use?
I really wish etherscan showed the time when a transaction first got posted and how long it waited before being processed.
I did not
it took a while, maybe an hour or two, I stopped watching after a while
Anywayā¦. Looking at most of the recent failed transactions they run out of gas. Probably due to low estimates made by the wallet. Sometimes when I shoot for slow gas I increase the limit like 5%.
I used metamask
Looking at recent successful transactions doing the same type of thing can help us know what the gwei limit will probably look like. But some of the limit is based on how much is staked and in how many batches⦠so it can get pretty high. My limit for a claim was around 400k.
But it executed at closer 340k if I recall
I'm not really sure what this means lol.
Is there a place on the official website where I can find the link to buy SLP with my ETH/ILV?
ty
I see the link in there to buy ILV with ETH, but not to swap ETH/ILV for SLP
!lp
Providing liquidity is done via an ILV/ETH Pool on SushiSwap and requires multiple steps:
- Buy ILV and ETH
- After approving the Sushi contract you stake a 50/50 value ratio of ETH and ILV
- You receive SLP tokens. (To see them, add the SLP contract address to your wallet)
- Stake the SLP tokens through the Illuvium Staking App and set your lock period.
See #šćhelpful-links for official links.
Itās the same website. Maybe try thisā¦#š„©ćstaking message
I got my SLP š Thank you
I am having some issues with Staking, when I click approve for the SLP staking nothing happens. It popup shows up at the top but if you click the like it gives me an error
What does your wallet say on etherscan? Is there another transaction pending?
No no transactions pending, I am using a Trezor wallet so I am not sure if that is what is causing the issue
Oh. Probably.
Try using metamask hardware integration. That works well for defi interactions
Thanks, that worked. I guess the connection through the built in trezor option in the website doesn't work for staking lol
Hi i just wanted to withdraw my ilv/eth. I clicked withdraw, confirmed the transaction on metamask and waited. Nothing happened. No error message. The screen just freezed. No confirmation. Now my metamask has less eth. There isn't any transaction in my history. I can't see where my eth on metamask went to. Tried then again. It worked within 1 second. So the first transaction was successful. When it came to the second transaction it says I've not enough eth in my metamask wallet. Now I'm here without eth on my metamask wallet and my ilv/eth is not withdrawn. It's frustrating. Anyone had the same Problems? What can I do?
Hi. First, don't trust any dm. They are all scammers.
You were trying to withdraw from staking on illuvium website? If yes then you should receive SLP token, not eth and ilv. After that you would have to withdraw liquidity (the SLP) to eth and ilv in Sushi.
Thanks. I know I just ignore every dm š i tried to withdraw from staking on the illuvium website. I was asked if I want ilv or silv. I chose ilv. I confirmed the transaction fees on metamask. Everything was going normal until this point. I waited and nothing happened. The window on the illuvium website just froze. After about 5 min i refreshed the illuvium website. And the the transaction fees were gone on my metamask wallet
If your ETH got used, the transaction either succeeded or you ran out of gas. You can check by viewing the transaction on Etherscan, which most wallets will link you to.
Alternatively, you can search your wallet address on Etherscan and it will have all your transactions, you can see if something went wrong or if the transaction suceeded.
If the transaction succeeded, you'd have SLP tokens in your wallet. You can find the contract address for SLP in #šćhelpful-links , you might have to manually add the token to see it.
You can change SLP tokens back to ILV + ETH on Sushiswap.
Hey if someone could please answer this. Say I've got 3 rewards that the vesting period has just finished. Do you have to make another transaction to collect them? And do you collect them one by one or can you do all 3 together for hopefully a lower transaction fee ? Ty in advance
If all 3 were unlocked, you could claim them all in a single transaction.
You do have to transact to claim them though, they won't automatically show up in your wallet.
Yeah thought that'd be the case thanks
And if you leave them unclaimed are they technically still staked ?
If they've unlocked, they are still staked, yes.
Ty
My balance today morning on my metamask wallet was 44 usd in eth. The transaction fee would cost 17 usd. However the transaction failed. After one hour of waiting i can see this error message on etherscan: Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Out of gas]
Gotcha, so the transaction ran out of gas. Sometimes wallets underestimate the amount of gas a transaction will use.
That can be fixed by manually increasing the gas limit for the transaction.
Assuming nothing happened and my balance was still the same on my metamask wallet i tried again. The transaction was successful. But now it needed another transaction to complete withdrawal. And i realised at this point my balance is too low for the second transaction. So 2 transactions for nothing.
So your claim transaction went through, but withdraw did not?
Ok thank you. I will try that next time. I guess i can nothing do to get my money back on metamask.
Yes the first transaction went through, and the second didn't because my balance was too low
Yeah, the blockchain will not give your gas fees back š¦ It sucks, but it happens sometimes, I think most people have had an out of gas transaction at some point.
Sad thing this problem isn't solved yet. How much money is lost like that lol
I'm still not sure why wallets sometimes underestimate the total gas a transaction will take. You can double check that your wallet is up to date, and your browser, that can sometimes help. Clearing cache can help as well.
You're right, it's probably 10's or 100's of millions in lost gas fees every year.
I mean it's ok if I have a too low balance on my metamask wallet and the transaction fails. But not when you confirm the transaction and agree to the price which is listed there and then the transaction fails...
But thanks for your help man š
Guys if I redeem from both ilv/eth pool and ilv pool shall I pay twice the fees?
You'll only need to redeem the ILV pool now and it will claim your SLP pool too. Main reason for the V2 staking upgrade
I have 2 transactions stuck for 2 weeks already, no info on the block explorer, not sure what SLP I claimed or how can I fix this
they appear as "failed" on illuvium website but I can't even find them on the block explorer
do you have your money still that seems real odd
Clear your cache and cookies, if its not on the explorer then you shouldnt be stuck
but the transactions are stucked and queued on the metamask
Settings > Advanced > Reset Account
"Resetting your account will clear your transaction history. This will not change the balances in your accounts or require you to re-enter your seed phrase."
Thats in Metamask
wow thx at least now I dont see any transaction stucked on metamask anymore
but I still cant withdraw the SLP from vesting tab, it says fee too low⦠maybe I have an old transaction stuck somewhere? cant find anything on the block explorerā¦
Can you DM me and I'll look into it
ššæ The legend
The mullet
How do I get started with this game
For now just wait. Staking is another story
Ok so I can stake now.. thanks
ofc. make sure you follow the steps in #šćhelpful-links and know the upsides/downsides of staking before doing anything and ignore DMs cuz they are scams
Thank you
hi guys i had 2.05 ILV what i staked for 6 months is guess at the rewards tab i daily checked first i got only 0.008 and now i have 0.02 but for more than a weak now... Do i need to claim it as ILV or sILV2 to generate more or it will generates to 0.03 for example just i cant see the numbers after 0.02?
more than a week*
you will be paying $20 for a $10 rewards
Does staking need gas fees as well?
every transaction on the Ethereum network does. Eth gas has nothing to do with illuvium or stakeing itself
Thanks. So if I already have ILV on the connected metamask and stake some ILV, it won't need eth gas fee, right? Because for example cult dao staking needs eth too when you want to stake it on the token's own website.
please see above i did mention "every transaction" you will need to pay gas every time you claim reward its ultimately the end users responsibility they are tracking the gas level and amount of reward they are claiming to make sure they are not spending $50 in gas to claim $10
Feared so, thanks for the answers btw!
yeah but do i NEED to claim it now or i can wait til i get more?
so is there a cap for mi with that 0.02 or it will be soon 0.03 for example
you can always wait
no cap
Your issue is probably significant figures in the dashboard. You're earning about 0.0009 ilv per day right now, so it will take a little under 2 weeks more to hit 0.03 ilv. I personally do not recommend claiming anywhere near that level. There's practically no value in it. Claiming now would give you less than $0.01 per day in compounding rewards. It would take 11 years to earn back a $30 transaction fee. In short, don't claim yet.
if we claim rewards in SILV, are we able to cash that out at any time? Was waiting for the land announce but haven't seen any news on that.
you would need to DYOR and find an unofficial liquidity pool to do so the correct sILV-2 address is in #šćhelpful-links
as for the land sale - see this for more info #š®ćilluvium-zero message
What is the token weight amount right now for SLP tokens under 12 month vested in ETH/ILV pool?
1-2x depends on time
I mean less that 12 months, i staked SLP before the V2 upgrade and itās 1.38. Itās finally unlocked, but will I get a higher token weight if I lock it again?
yes, if you withdraw and then re-stake for12months you will be at max 2x. then you can just leave it there when it unlocks again, and it will maintain weight
Guys can u buy ILV with Eur?
And if I stake it for example less then 12 months? I would say 3 months, will it be higher or less then 1.38 token weight? Also if I decide to keep it as it is now, do I keep generating daily ILV income?
I don't know all the time - weight ratios off by heart you'll need to look on the staking dashboard
Depends on the exchanges, normally you need to convert to USDT or other crypto like ETH. Then you send it to your wallet and go to sushi or uni swap to convert to ILV, some exchanges allow you to change ILV
Okay thank you! Because a part of my SLP is also still locked at 1.38 and I heard if you donāt unstake it, you will keep your token weight and still earn rewards after the locked period. Have to see if I unstake it, if the token weight will increase or not @coral pike thanks for info buddy appreciate it fam
yes if you leave an unlocked stake alone it will continue as normal
Try binance or crypto.com, They might let you but directly with a bank account
Ty
Does that also mean when revdis comes out?
yes
So I am eligible for revdis ? Thanks for info
as long you have an active stake yes it does not matter if its locked or unlocked
šā¤ļøš¤
How do you get SLP again?
Get an more or less equal value of ilv and eth in your wallet then go to sushiswap, liquidity pairs, create/buy liquidity pair, set it up for eth and ilv and done. Not exactly how it works but thats the general flow. @south geyser
so i got to sushi --> liquidity --> add --> input Eth and Ilv and done?
!staking
When holding ILV, staking is a way to gain additional rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution. The process for staking is the following:
- Acquire either ILV or Sushi LP tokens.
- Go to the official Staking App.
- Enter the right pool according to the tokens you acquired.
- Decide your lock duration. The longer the lock, the higher the weight.
- After approving the contract, confirm the staking of the desired tokens.
Hey, 2x weight means that if I have 4 ilv staked, Iām gonna be rewarded as if I had 8 tokens, right?
Essentially, yes. Technically, you'll receive double the rewards of someone staking at 1x weight.
Well, somethingās wrong then.
Iām staked at 2x weight but at my Dashboard I can see Iām receiving as if I was 1x
What do you mean? What is your apr? How do you know you're receiving at 1x?
I did some math, apr says 23% Daily should be 0.057% right? (23/365). And I have 4 staked tokens, 0.057% of 4 is 0.0023 what is exactly that ILV earned daily says.
The apr adjusts to reflect the weight, and should be accurate. If you were staked at 1x weight, apr would be half of the 2x. Right now, 2x means about 21% apr for the ilv pool and 250% for the slp
Exactly, the apr reflects the 2x. If you were at 1x, your apr would be 11.5%
Oh i thought 23% was 1x. Thanks man
Does anyone know whether revdis commences as a direct result of the land sale, or does it commence only when the beta is released? If only wen beta, then does that mean open beta? Or second private beta? Also, does anyone have an estimate for how much revdis per month per token staked? Just curious. Have been asking this same shiz everywhere. Sorry to sound like a broken record
Anytime there is eth revenue generation event. The land sale will be the first but it's uncertain due to the amount of RevDis due to the amount sLIV-2 that may be used
Ok great, so let's skip forward in time to maybe 3 months after open release. Am I looking at $5 per ILV token per month? Am I looking at $30? $50? $2,899?
I know...sorry
definitely one of those š There will be early excitement with a lot of silv spent, then the next phase of the project commences where we have to build and nurture the player base, and ensure it's economically sound and not a ponzi. 3 months after release it won't be much. 12 months and 36 months outlooks are why you should be here.
is it to late to stake ?
Yield rewards will still be available for over 2 years, and staking will be around indefinitely, so it's not too late. Definitely do your research beforehand though. Feel free to ask if you have questions
Hello guys, can some of you enlight me please? I'm confused with the two different pools. Here is what I understand: in the ~20% APY one you have to stack ILV, and in the ~270% APY one you have to stack SLP? And you can't stack ILV in the ~270% APY pool? Or am I completly wrong?
Does anyone know if when my SLP unlocked it start to earn less? My wonder is if i should unstake that SLP and restate to you the weight
if your SLP is unlocked after the vesting period it keeps the same weight it was staked at and continues to be staked. It earns the exact same amount as when it was staked, however the yield decreases over time.
That being said, it hasn't been 1 year since staking started so you're definitely below 2x weight. You may want to withdraw and restake at 2x, but that's up to you.
SLP is just a liquidity pool token, it's basically an IOU for half ETH half ILV. You put your ETH and ILV into the liquidity pool (which helps the protocol run) and then in return you get SLP token of equal value, which you can convert back to ETH/ILV at any time (assuming it's not locked up). Then you can take the SLP token and stake that for ~270% APR.
Plain ILV can only be staked in the ~20% APR pool, but the yield isn't great. Personally I'm only putting new money in SLP pool. The ILV pool for me is just a way for the ILV rewards you claim to also earn yield. I've put 5 ILV in the ILV only pool and wish I had put it all in SLP, but I was experimenting and learning when this was new.
Bet thank you you literally even answered my next question lol, it was at 1.4 cause I wanted to take some profits but hehe changed my mind! I will restate at 2x weight thank you !!
No worries, I started back in July and only bought 2 ILV to experiment thinking to myself "THIS MIGHT BE A SCAM DON'T GET SCAMMED" and over time I've put more in. Wish I had the confidence to just throw everything in SLP at 2x weight at the start.
Yea saaaame man lol I got in in early august. I feel the same way hahah
Thank you for your time and answer. Si basically when you say you're putting new money into the SLP pool, it means that you have SLP in your possession and you stack them for ILV/ETH rewards?
You provide ILV/ETH on Sushiswap to get SLP.
Ok so SLP is the reward in the ~270% API pool, but you still have to stack ILV/ETH you own? Sorry I'm usually not one of the slow-minded but this has been pretty confusing to me
You stake ILV + ETH in equal portions in terms of $ ($100 ILV + $100 ETH for example) in Sushi LP, get the SLP from it and then take and stake it back in ILV pool that says SLP.
Make sure you add the SLP address to your wallet first. #šćhelpful-links
Step 1 have ETH in your wallet
Step 2 get ILV somehow (you could buy it on some exchanges but I just swap ETH to ILV on the sushi pool)
Step 3 "provide liquidity" = trade equal $ values of ILV and ETH for SLP token on sushi pool
Step 4 take SLP token to Illuvium staking site and stake it for 1 year at 2x weight and enjoy the ILV tokens. Claim when you want and pay gas.
SLP is the token you stake in the SLP pool, it's effectively a proof that you're providing liquidity. As a reward for providing liquidity you earn ILV tokens, and locking it for longer to get a better weight of rewards.
Ok thank you guys
So if you stake SLP right now for 3 months for example you will also get token weight of 2.0? For me my token weight is 1.38
Anybody know if or when we can move our staked ilv to a hardware wallet? Is this even possible for V1 or V2 staked?
It will stay at 1.38 it wouldnāt go up
Even if I Restake it for 3 month? Since I staked for 3 months?
but there is high gas prices and also a big chance of you losing a decent percentage right? all depending on if eth or ilv go up or down?
So better to leave it staked
Unless you want to restate and pay gas to restate it at 2.0 for another year yeah Iād leave it staked, though Iām unstaking mine and restating at 2.0 should have done a while ago. Nfa
There's no point in re-staking at the same weight you're already staked at. Unless you're staking for a higher weight, just leave it be.
But it will then be locked for a year right?
Thanks @cyan rampart and @plucky vessel
NFA, but I don't think impermanent loss is a problem at the rates you get staking in SLP. Of course as it continues dropping it will become a bigger deal. Currently though, you can earn so much ILV that it easily overtakes all of the ILV in your SLP such that your SLP's ILV percentage could vanish and it wouldn't matter, you'd still be ahead of staking plain ILV.
Ultimately though, I don't feel like there's much possibility of IL here. If ETH boosts in value then the same amount of ETH people already have has higher buying power in Illuvium game and in ILV token, so people will be able to buy more ILV and drive the price up and buy more game stuff to give revdis. If ILV boosts without ETH and you've been staking SLP then you'll have so much ILV at boosted price then you easily outpaced your loss.
Hmm I see thanks, is it worth trying this with a low amount of money let's say 100ā¬-100ā¬
If you didn't plan on claiming for a long time, maybe? I mean you could stake that and not claim a single time until a year and maybe pay $30 gas to end up with like 250-300% your initial investment.
Overall gas fees just make staking small amounts not really worth it.
invest 200 euro, pay 30 gas and cash out 600 euro. Not terrible.
Hmm I am still debating if it is a good choice haha
Better than you'll get at any bank
I am so new to this that the slp pool is very weird in how you stake 50/50
Oh for sure I mostly stake stable coins for an easy 12% instead of keeping it on banks atm
You provide balance to the pool since you'll be exposed to impermanent loss
Yeah it's pretty awesome actually, the staking yield is to incentivize people to provide liquidity at all. Then when people will spend ETH in the game that ETH is then taken to this same sushi pool and swapped to ILV to drive up the price, then the ILV is sent as revenue distribution to the stakers.
I looked it up but also tried the calculators and idk it seems weird to me
Providing liquidity on any platform requires both the token and ETH (or whatever token the platform is on). By providing 50/50, you initiate the pool/stake. Also this balance maintains the slippage. If your token outperforms ETH, the pool will sell it and buys more ETH to keep the balance and vice verse.
It is a really cool system yeah and I have been into the metaverse for only like 2 months now and got nfts in Axie, but I think I wanna swap it all over to Illuvium so been doing some research
Yeah I have a team of 3x axies, got into it last summer. Since then my axies have cratered in value, it's a lot harder to get love potions, the game isn't even fun, and it doesn't seem like it's improved at all. Same buggy mess.
I was worried about getting into another NFT game project, but this game looks like it's actually being polished and will be fun. I'm a big traditional gamer so fun is #1 requirement.
That SLP token "Smooth Love Potion" from Axie took me in the very wrong direction when looking at the SLP from the stacking. That's why I kinda didn't understand at first. SLP tokens from liquidity pools are definitively not the SLP tokens from Axie...
Yes SLP = Sushi Liquidity Pool token.
Luckily I only spent 120⬠for 4 medium axies that are viable in origins so maybe I can take some profit soon
Does anyone have the smart contract address for sILV2?
Check #šćhelpful-links for these types of questions to always be safe
can someone explain or link to me what the weight is when you are staking?
Simple description: you stake with 2X weight and your tokens will count as double. To get it you have to lock them. for a year. The explanation goes beyond simplicity which I recommend reading the mediums and learn more.
thank you
And weight can be lowered if you do less months if I understand it correctly?
Making it less cheap/worth but less of a risk since it isn't as lonngterm?
Do you qualify for Revdis if youāre only staked in the SLP pool?
You lock for fewer month so obviously you'll get less weight.
Yes but only the ILV part of SLP
Thank you!
just staked 2 ILV tokens wup wup. So why they leave my wallet? thougt they would stay in there
and how often should i claim my reward?
and what do you guys claim it in? ILV or SILV
Yeah, they leave your wallet.
With a 2 ILV stake, probably not very often. I'd probably do a single claim when your stake expires. I take my rewards as ILV, but sILV can be good too, just depends what you're going for.
Also, congrats š
What day last month did staking start back up?
March 31
Thank you! š I didnāt realize it was so late in the month
so how much will go back to us stake holders in land sale? and is it the same way we claim it?
All of the ETH purchases of land will be used to buy ILV to distribute proportionally for revdis. If you look on the staking dashboard you can see a ācoming soonā section for revdis where we will be able to claim it. Iām assuming the process is similar to claiming staking rewards, except it will be in unlocked ILV
I love the SLP pool since restart I have made 1.5 tokens
and just leaving my tokens in pool while they worked out troubles was very worth it
can someone explain the concept of SLP to me?
https://discord.com/channels/760344898200666112/814430845079126057 is a good place to start
your combining a even amount of ILV with Eth , in the sushi liquidity pool, this gives you the SLP token that you can stake in Illuviums SLP pool and you get a better interest rate depending on how long you lock the token. I have only done 12 month so far
that is a very basic way to describe it and might not be 100% accurate best to check in links for more complete information
Hi I have a dumb Qn. I'm thinking put my ILV in metamask to stake but eventually I plan to use a Ledger for everything. So when I re-connect to staking I assume I must use my browser wallet address to check progress, claim rewards etc? Or is there a way that I can point from my MM address to my Ledger address and just use that for future queries or claims?
Yes if you stake from your metamask without a ledger then you will have to wait for the unlock, the pending tokens and then send all of that to a new wallet that is connected to your ledger.
So you would hold a hot-wallet that entire time.
You can migrate your wallet to a cold storage. But even then, it will have been online and it is a bit of a hassle. So if you are planning on getting a cold wallet, get one before staking and then ónly touch that cold wallet for staking purposes. (Just to be safe ^^)
thanks mate
hi guys i havent been following that closely but i did watch the staking vid to stake v2. im just not sure i quite understand. i staked in ilv for a year, and still have 100 days. if i upgrade and stake in ilv again before that 100 days ends then what happens?
does it make sense for me to just upgrade to ilv2 and claim rewards even though the vesting period is not over
You wont earn yield if you dont upgrade i think
Ok so no reason not to do it then right
ILV/ETH pool staking APY 274%. If i stake now and lock it for 12 months. I will get 274% interest? Or will it change with time?
APY changes with time, goes down 3% every epoch. Also, changes if people stake / unstake in the pool.
You have to upgrade to V2 to earn yield. Note that you are required to claim ur rewards Before you upgrade. Just follow the YT tutorial video. Then you can stake after upgrading. You can claim rewards anytime but of course, consider the gas fee.
Thanks
anyone know where we can find the total sILV2 claimed statistic?
214,965.05 sILV2 minted
the longer they delay the land sale, the less revdis we are going to receive
It's already less compared to December at which point it was supposed to be released imo. But being safe is more important than an immediate short-term RevDis
I mean, if ilv keeps dropping but the relative prices of the lands stay the same and demand is there, then itās possible to get more rev dis than initially expected .
If ETH is spent, yeah.
Well if silv power drops then more eth will need to be spent as long as the sale requires more funds than whatās going to be used in silv. But who knows, it ends up being the same discussion every day while we wait for overdue info.
Hi Guys, is it better to claim rewards in ILV or sILV ?
Depends on what you want: ILV for RevDis but locked for 12 months or sILV2, available immediately, for use in land, illuvitar or in game sales when the game is out.
ahh ok thanks!
Oddly, when I try to withdraw my SLP pool it says I have to withrdraw my rewards, but they have already been withdrawn. ? any idea on how to manage that get around this problem?
How do I get SLP back to ETH & ilv ?
Sorry for the basic questions
Your staked deposit is likely still earning (and any rewards that were previously claimed as ILV) so there are new rewards to claim.
#š„©ćstaking message itās like the opposite of this. You take the SLP to sushi and remove liquidity.
oh ok Cool
why do we have to upgrade to v2 staking for a locked depost?
Yes
Sorry. You asked why
lol
Because v1 was hacked and all new distributions come from the v2 contract.
Technically you donāt need to upgrade. But then you wonāt receive any more yield. Or revdis when the time comes.
Again sorry I just read too fast sometimes and in my striving to be the most helpful boy I can APPARENTLY get things wrong. But the info I shared above is dead on.
wait i can't vote because i'm staked?
Only council can vote, stakers can vote on the council.
Thank you !
How much silv2 is 2 eth?
sILV2 is approx 200dollars
sILV2 is valued at the price of ILV during the land sale.
2 ETH is about $6000 now and ILV $530
So at this moment 2 ETH would be 11,3 sILV2
But nobody should insta buy during an dutch auction
ohhhh i see. now i understand the chart
Damn thats a lot
congrats staker
what is revdis?
RevDis are for anyone who has a stake in the ILV core or SLP pools
Think of it this way every time the DA0 makes $1 for ANY source - games , movies , tv shows , merch , books etc etc it goes back to the ILV staker in the for of 100% Revdis for the
ENTIER life of the DAO
example the DAO makes 10 million revenue 10 million goes back to the stakers
Yield Farm is rewards you get for staking so when RevDis starts stakers will get both
NFA: my personal view and opinion #š°ćtoken message
thanks
!revdis
The DAO distributes 100% of revenue to token holders.
Revenue distributions are claimed through the official Staking App as unlocked ILV. The vault converts ETH spent in-game into ILV by the main Sushi pool, which increases the token price.
Since upgrading to v2 I seem to be missing about 4 ilv - but is accounted for in "my liquidity" on the dash. Is anyone able to help understand what has happened? Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place
When vesting unlocks are you able to claim multiple stakes with one gas fee?
Yes.
It would be a withdrawal but yes

Pretty cool huh
yes haha
when can we buy land š
No date has been set.
How mutch silv2 do you guys safe for the landsale? Is there a reason why to buy land with eth?
is anyone rewards earning currently?
Yup, all of us who are staked.
What wallet are you using? Try clearing your browser cache. Restart the browser. Make sure the wallet extension is up to date. See if the website has your upgrade again. Iām pretty sure it wasnāt working for your niche case when you first did the upgrade
Hi @gloomy gazelle I'm getting an error when trying to claim - mind if I shoot you a dm?
Oof I was just gonna sleep
it's not urgent, I can just drop it in your inbox
Cool
There are many guides, including official guide on the official Illuvium youtube channel
you also can watch other guides, like the one Scoriox made
you should be able to upgrade from your phone. Try Metamask browser if usual doesn't work
1 ILV per day is a good reward for game?
I'd say it's good reward $500 a day aslong as you have eth to claim it
Saying that if u mean by staking anyway
Depends if youāve staked enough to be able to get 1ilv per day
Youād need like 2000ilv staked in the standard pool to earn 1ilv per day
At a 2.0 weight
If I don't withdraw my SLP will it still earn staking rewards, or do I need to withdraw and re-stake?
When you first staked was it flexible or locked?
Locked
So now itās unlocked. And it will continue earning at its original weight. No need to withdraw and restake. Just be sure to have completed the upgrade to v2.
Perfect! Thank you š
Hi all, regarding the incredible tokenomics and the 100% rev/dis to stakers, i was asking myself if this kind of rev dis is sustainable long term speaking ? I dont know another project who offer that much revenue. What do you think ?
I think longterm sustainability isnt the question because it will start low and just get better and better as the game devellops and web3 gaming becomes more and more mainstream. Ilv will be first AAA game with no competition at all and is so early on future competition.
20% (approximate?) of ILV is in the treasury and qualify for RevDis so it is highly sustainable.
hey guys, when I go to the vesting tab on the staking platform it still says that I am currently in V1.. My rewards are already unlocked and the time period of the stake itself is already over. I am currently debating if I even want to continue staking because I want to have access to my ILV for when the game comes out. Do you think that is a smart move? I also have some sILV2 ready to buy some land with when ILV-Zero comes out. Any suggestions?
ILV token is not used in the game. So Iād say leave it staked and earning. The rewards it earns are what youād be able to use in the game when you claim them as sILV2.
Oke thanks, good point. Then my follow up question is; Do you get the same amount of sILV2 rewarded if you stake SLP?
And I am trying to find a good tutorial on how to stake SLP or create SLP tokens but I cant seem to find a good video
Eth/ILV SLP pool currently has higher apr than the ILV only pool. You can claim any rewards as either ILV or sILV2
#š„©ćstaking message thereās part of this video that shows how. Itās older and the ui changed a little since then. But still good.
See #šćhelpful-links for official links.
could someone help me understand why I have some Illuvium in the ILV core pool 0x25121EDDf746c884ddE4619b573A7B10714E2a36 and some ILV in the Illuvium : Migrate contract 0x7f5f854FfB6b7701540a00C69c4AB2De2B34291D ?
are these both real ILV or did they get migrated? I thought I migrated everything so I'm confused why I am seeing a balance in the ILV core pool. thanks
cheers
Let me know if that doesnāt clear it up
Hey @gloomy gazelle any idea why sILV wouldn't show in my wallet after migrating to V2? All ILV and SLP showing fine.
sILV or sILV2?
Well, it was initially claimed as sILV long before V2
So I just came back to the project after forgetting about some ILV I had put in. Today I just went to do the upgrade. For some reason the rewards went into a brand new 12 month pool. And my original ILV says v1 and can be withdrawn?
So have you exchanged the old dead silv tokens for the new sILV2 tokens? Thatās on the website in the Exchange page. #šćhelpful-links
I'll check it out. Ty
I just thought the original amount plus rewards would be moved into a brand new rewards pool.
Thatās how rewards have always worked.
Rewards from staking have to be manually claimed and GAS fees for those transactions have to be paid:
- When you stake ILV yield farming rewards start piling up for you
- You claim those rewards whenever you deem the pile to be big enough to justify gas fees
- If you claim sILV2 you have it unlocked right away (sILV2 is only usable in game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena)
- If you claim ILV then that batch of ILV gets locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effect
- New rewards start piling up....rinse and repeat
NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuviumās Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.
So I should just go ahead and get my old v1 ILV out?
You can leave it if you want it to keep earning.
I wanted to add more in. Will that just be a whole new stake? Won't be added to that original amount?
Hey @gloomy gazelle Am I talking to you in the DM? Just to make sure?
This is a reminder to never give out your private key (12 to 24 word seed phrase) to anyone.
Nobody in the team will ever ask you to send ETH. There has been increasing activity of DMs in this Discord related to scams and fake giveaways.

He is helping me with some questions about staking, but Just to make sure I want to ask here
Hey,Something I didnāt really understand;where is the ILV tokens that you get as rewards are coming from? I mean I understand that you are staking it for them to have liquidity, but is 270% apy possible? From where does it come from exactly?
They reserved 3 million tokens to be distributed as rewards. so those are what you are getting now :)
Great
Hello everyone. My V1 ILV staking has ended. What is better claim in ILV or sILV2 for restaking again? Thanks
claiming ILV or sILV2 is regarding your rewards, ILV will stake and lock for 365 days... but your original stake can stay staked at same rate as long as you upgrade
you dont have to restake
Omg, i had enough eth for the 1st transaction but not for the 2nd one to withdraw my rewards (i didn't know there were two transtaction to make). Did i just lost the gas fee (35$) of the first transaction now? D:
Can we know the total amount of SILV2 ready to be claimed ?
You can see the total supply so far on ethscan
Yep I know, more than 215K SILV2 have been claimed so far given Etherscan
https://etherscan.io/token/0x7e77dcb127f99ece88230a64db8d595f31f1b068
I wonder if it's a good idea to buy some SILV2 cause I don't know how many SILV2 remain to be claimed. If many stackers decide to claim them reward in SILV2, the price would go down. It would be interesting to know how many SILV2 are claimable right now to calculate a minimum SILV2 price
When I go and upgrade the ilv pool when it says claim does that mean Iāll get it back in my wallet?
If you claim ILV its vested in the staking pool for 12 months. sILV2 goes directly to your wallet.

NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuviumās Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.
The answer is no. Please donāt get scammed in your DMs.
We do not dm first.
Itās actually really quite easy to check if you are DMing with the right person. Find the REAL personās username on discord. Click it. Send them a message. Then youād either have the one dm thread with the real person. Or you will have two dm threads one with a real person one with an imposter.
@vast zephyr Do that in #šćbot-commands
Vast majority of current available silv2 will all be used in the land sale
I agree with you and I'd like to know how much more SILV2 can be mint before the land sale
That is a good question. The math is out there. Maybe in hereā¦#š„©ćstaking message
Thanks š There is some usefull information here
Hey, just to be clear, Iām learning about the ILV/Eth staking pool; if for example I put 1 ILV and the same amount of Eth, itās later converted to SLP and after a year I get approximately 270% on the number of Slpās I have?
How can you offer a 300% return on staking sustainably for a year? That doesn't sound sustainable to me
it fluctuates but it is accurate and sustainable just as giving 100% of revenue back in revdis have you read the white paper?
calcula
It used to be much higher.
I was able to integrate my ledger (directly ordered from Ledger) to my wallet and claimed rewards by approving through my ledger šš
This means my seed phrase is only available within the ledger and nobody else can do any transactions without having the ledger physically available right?
If you have re-installed the bridge then it should have removed the seedphrase from your computer. (in your case Coinbase wallet?)
Yes. I removed the application completely from my phone, and in the browser I didnāt have it yet. Now when I added the Coinbase Extension to chrome, I chose existing wallet through hardware wallet
yes then it should have removed it from your phone! check again if it is not anywhere else on there. no screenshots, no pictures. And then it will only be on your ledger š
Thats giving me a major sense of relief now. Already checked š
The only thing which is bothering me now is that my wallet in chrome Coinbase wallet is always āopenā. If I sign out I would need to connect the ledger new. Does it have a risk that my wallet is visible and open there ?
It is already to late.. I have been tricked and it is all gone.. 23 ILV and 6.5 rewarded sILV2 all just taken away from me.. Not to mention my 3lander, adidas into the metaverse nft and some bunch of other stuff.. All because my own dumb ass mistakes.. I dont think there is any way to get them back
they will likely be able to view your wallet details. But will not be able to do any transactions. You need that seedphrase for it and that's on the ledger. So, you are safe! You should now even be able to add the wallet to a heavily infected computer as long as you use the hardware wallet and nothing bad will happen. Unless you actually start doing transactions on there and you sign something risky. So, you are the only one who can now make mistakes, and you will always be able to avoid them as long as you check the contract before you sign š
Thatās good to hear. Actually I am not using that wallet for anything else besides staking/claiming ILV. So itās also the only connected dapp and it will stay like that š if I plan to do other transactions I will create a new wallet and use my spare ledger for that
sounds good! š

Hello! The staking platform is on the Illuvium.io website. You have 2 choices: Pure ILV and ILV/ETH combination.
To be sure you are in the right website, use the link in #šćhelpful-links
Alright thanks
Guys honestly talking i have 3 ILV is it more worth staking in pure ILV pool or divide them 50/50 and stake in the ILV/ETH pool?
If you are a long term believer, stake in the ILV/ETH pool to maximize your gains. If you want the quick gain, stay in the ILV pool as the first revdis is coming in 1-2 months.
I would consider staking in the ILV pool to qualify for more revdis. The ILV/ETH pool would come with more cost associated to gas and the 250% variable return might not be beneficial long term
I have 1.5 ILV locked for 12 months. Anyone know the math on a return?
So if i stake in the ILV/ETH pool i will not be eligible for revdis?
You will, on the ILV side. But do you enough ETH to match the ILV and pay for the gas?
Can you take your revdis out straight away or top-up the stake?
RevDis is unlocked. If you want to re-invest it, you need to do a new stake.
Check the pins in this channel for the calculator.
Sorry I do not get your question :/
Where can I read about revdis?
Is something wrong with the Illuvium Website/Dashboard?... it's not loading on my end.
refresh, clear chache, update browser or change it if persistent
same problem
If you want to stake in the ILV/ETH pool, you need the exact dollar value of ILV and ETH. So 3 ILV is around $1,571. You need to pair this with around .52 ETH. Plus, there will be fees/gas to be paid with which need additional ETH.
You can read the pins here or visit the official website. #šćhelpful-links
Just tried all of it but nothing worked. Still stuck on loading balances
did you change the website? Might be a MetaMask issue too. Its having issues atm
What do you mean change website?... is there another page/link for the dashboard?
I meant browser sorry
if using brave, use chrome. If using Chrome, use FireFox
BUty if you are using MetaMask, it has issues loading atm
so that might be sth. You can try some time later
Yeah MM is down currently Gas was at 9 just now wow!
NO trade is going around, so, That shows how many ppl use MM haha
Uf so sad I made transaction some hours ago, never before we had so low fees...
It's just because MM is not operational š
Many people including me trying to claim lol when you see gas spike you know mm is back up š¬
yes but some other wallets like coinbase etc are still working š
Lucky for them š
just came here to see if anyone else was also getting metamask weirdness! must be some problem affecting everyone that the metamask team is working on fixing right now
Yeah, gas looking beautiful right now, makes sense
I checked my dinky hot wallets on mobile MM and they arenāt working properly either.

Hey I switch my eth RPC to ANKR and was able to start the process to claim/withdraw my stake. the claim txn went through no problem but the withdraw txn I approved right before gas went from 15-74 and is now pending. Am I correcto assume that txn will sit there untill gas drops back down?
Correctomundo
well, yeah, you just did the TX in a bad time when Infura came back online and milions of users rushed in š
what do you guys reccomend? just let it sit and hope or eat the fee to speed it up?
One option is for you to try and speed it up just a little. Gwei might not get below 20 for awhile
117 DOLLARS
OR nonce duplication cancellation
Yikes. Let it ride. Itāll either work or in a few days it may fail. Either way itās a cheap cheap tx
Donāt just use MM cancel button. That mess is so inefficient
ya hopefully it goes through. whats going to happen when it fails? I have to claim/withdraw again?
The claim worked you say. But the withdrawal is the one pending. I believe we no longer need to claim before withdrawing⦠@cunning perch am I right? I canāt ever withdraw so itās hard for me to remember what I havenāt done.
well, that's the issue when Aaron said V1 stakers better choose sILV as reward and ignore it since a claim upon withdrawal on V1 is still live
Ok ok. I remember that now.
So you would need to claim before youāll be able to withdraw again. The time between those two transactions is the BIG thing. Itās gotta be a short time.
ya this literally happened within 30 seconds lol. So my best course of action is to hope it goes through, and if it fails when I go to claim/withdraw again I should chose sILV instead of ILV so I dont have two gas fees?
argh i dont know whether to claim my rewards as sILv or ILV
if i dont upgrade my pool will i still keep earning rewards and decide later? Or will my rewards be paused?
Upgrade is required to continue rewards.
damn
Hi all, if i do not claim my rewards, will the rewards compounding ? Or i need to claim to compound ?
You need to claim to compound.
Also you will need to pay ETH gas every time you claim reward its ultimately the end users responsibility they are tracking the ETH gas level and amount of reward they are claiming to make sure they are not spending $50 in gas to claim $10
Question: Friends wallet got hacked I do not think there is a way to swap his staked funds. He already upgraded with the stake in SLP
Correct - ability to migrate to a new wallet is planned for the future, but not available for locked tokens today. Best bet is to know when tokens unlock and beat the hacker to unstake and transfer them first once they become unlocked. Good luck to your friend!
I thought that was the case it's about 280 days away š
About time for me to stake more ..š
How he got Hacked by clicking a link ?
@hot vine honestly not 100% he does not have Discord and the only thing he does in crypto is Illuvium, clean sweeped his PC and found nothing no malware notta
Wooow i am scared now how he know he got Hacked than ? Crypto is a jungle now
there are two transfers out from Metamask that do not display in Metamask history (weird), he moved money into Metamask from Coinbase to buy ILV and 2 minutes later some xfered it all out
They show in Etherscan but nothing in Metamask
Metamask had him file some stuff with Binance and so far nothing came of it
Ok i have some eth for gas fees in stock to Cover up the landsale. If a Hacker have my wallet Information he Would swipe the hole Account Instant right ? And one more question does he have a Hardware wallet connected?
And does a Hardware wallet prefend such things? PS: TY for anwering bro
he has no wallet that I am aware of
either he handed over his seed phrase or gave consent to a malicious smart contract
this whole āI clicked a link and everything was goneā thing doesnāt exactly happen like that
Itās possible that he is not using the true metamask extension. But a scam extension used to take folks secret phrase.
It was able to speed it up at 30 gwei and only paid around 25$!
Are we able now to stake new deposits without having to claim the existing ones?
Yes, you can start new deposits without claiming existing rewards.
Nice
A Merkle Tree of each userās accumulated yield weight in v1 will be published and stored in IPFS for full transparency. Anyone will be able to verify the authenticity of the data - https://medium.com/illuvium/42-all-you-need-to-know-about-staking-v2-94e77f295ff
Has Merkle Tree been published? How can I check it?
Not sure, but would love to know about this as well.
Guys, can you link me the file where we can find the optimal time to claim rewards plz ? i cannot find it
Where can we sell our liquidity tokens when we withdraw them? Back in sushi? Only there? And by selling what do we actually get? A stablecoin? Any other coin we might wish?
staked in the pool total of 4k dollars
You remove liquidity from sushi. You will get eth and ilv in return.
i would like to stake more but only 0.6 eth and 3.4 ilv i had
If we withdraw our LP tokens do we also get the earned fees from Sushi during that time?
Or not because we transferred them to the staking contract?
Suggestion: Please can we have an option to move our staked ilv to a different wallet? I can see a lot of people with compromised wallets with staked ilv and Im one of them. We might not be able to get this ilv back when it's unlocked
that was discussed for staking v2, but the team wasn't able to accomplish it with the current upgrade. it is planned for future upgrades. they are highly aware of the issue. for now, the best bet is to unstake and transfer as soon as it unlocks.
Will rewards from the ILV pool also decrease over time or when more people stake?
both. those are the two main factors that impact yield
any estimates? like in a year it will be 10-15% instead of 22%?
if you trust me, i think 10% by august. lots of variables though, particularly where unlocked seed/team tokens go, and what happens with unlocked claimed ILV
revenue distribution needs to become the dominate value source for the ILV core pool
There is no way how to take rewards from SLP pool and put them with more ETH back to the pool, right?
no, you can only claim as ILV which goes into the ILV core pool, or sILV2
ok, thanks for your reactions š
Hey guys ive got a question, dont know if this is the right channel for it, but ill shoot it anyway
ive started staking ilv/eth yesterday, dollar amount in rewards goes up, but ilv amount stays the same, is this normal?
how much do you have in rewards? there are issues with significant figures - it will only show two decimal places, but it is adding rewards. for example, it takes time to go from 0.04 to 0.05 ILV, but it is adding more in the background
okay ye fair play, its only from 1 day, so it was on 0.03 it just jumped to 0.04
That's the problem. The metamask is already compromised. Any asset put in my wallet will automatically be sent to a ramdom wallet. If it's on it's way, i'd rather wait for it than risk it
hello guys I put in staking for 6 months, what is i click on claim reward after 3 months? what happens?
You claim in sLIV2 or ILV. You must have Eth in your secure wallet to do this.
ILV is staked for another 12 months. sLIV2 can be used in land sale or used in the game.

Yeah the !commands may also now be available for public use too
Thank you is there a place I can see the commands if I get stuck in future? Can I assume there are others in other chats?
Iāll ping you in #šćbot-commands and show you how it works.
hi all - i was wondering why i don't see my sILV on the homepage of the staking site. is there a way to convert my old sILV to sILV2?
Hi, do I get yield from unclaimed rewards in SLP pool or do I need to claim them?
You need to claim them first to get yield.
ok, thank you
lets say I get 1 ILV revenue distribution from the land sale. Will the claiming of this work the same as for current rewards? i.e. claim as sILV2 right away, or claim as 1 ILV and wait a year?
!revdis
The DAO distributes 100% of revenue to token holders.
Revenue distributions are claimed through the official Staking App as unlocked ILV. The vault converts ETH spent in-game into ILV by the main Sushi pool, which increases the token price.
this doesn't answer the question
I see, thanks
ilvfi's latest post has me questioning myself whenever I claim now
just claimed 6.5 ILV - cost c$20 with the cheap gas. seems like a good time to claim? want to ensure I have everything claimed for when things start kicking off
Sounds good to me
just realised I claimed 6 sILV instead of ILV by mistake š¤¦āāļø expensive mistake for HODLer like me š¦
doing my bit to reduce the available supply
guess I'm buying a T2 land
could have sworn I selected the right box š¦
Ahh as a hodler myself that hurts to hear :/ But T2 with 6 silv? Good luck^^
IKR - all that revdis for the future gone... yeah might be too hopeful. Maybe I'll just play the game and win a whole bunch of rare stuff and earn the $ back that way. Or if sILV closer to ILV near land sale I might try to swap for as much ILV as I can, pair with ETH, and add to the SLP pool. Maybe the compounding will erase my error?
You could just go for a T1? That could work and at least diversify your investment in regard to revenue streams. But on the other hand administrating Land is more work than investment^^ The latter is an interesting thought. This probably would have worked very well half a year ago. Didn't think of it. But yeah maybe if silv comes close enough to ILV maybe it still works. Sounds like you got some maths to do there ;)
I did actually do this with about $10K worth of sILV about 4 months back. All of the transaction fees were killer but I think the rewards will have been worth it. SLP returns aren't as big now though - though fees and gas less also. decisions decisions!
Just did some maths myself and at least from my (personal imprecise) calculations it doesn't work with the current silv/ilv price gap and lp apy. NFA But since for you the mistake already happened its of course a different decision. Maybe you can just wait for land sale and then compare the actual opportunities seeing the actual land prices as well as the silv price.
I added to my 12 month staked ILV pool balance, increasing the total balance by almost 30%. However, my "daily rewards" calculation at the bottom did not change (I mean, literally immediately after increasing the stake balance by 30%. Is this because of a rounding error, or does the new amount in that box just form part of the UI and only updates once.every 24 hours?
I understand that the "actual" rewards generated daily are calculated from the moment you press "Confirm". I'm just curious as to that little box at the bottom of Dashboard which says "Daily Rewards: 0.02 ILV" or whatever
Takes over night wen I did it
Sweet. You got me bro. I was wondering whether what I'd written made any sense
Also forgot to ask, does the APY go down every 3 weeks or every 2 weeks? And what percentage does it go down by? 2 or 3?
Guys. Quick question. Yesterday I claimed my rewards for the first time, then my pending rewards didn't move since then. It's been 24 hrs since I claimed and I only see $0.0039 as pending rewards when it should be much more. Is this normal?
Rewards overall will reduce by 3% every fortnight, but how much you get will vary with people entering and leaving the pools.
did sushiswap remove the legacy tab?
sushiswap--->liquidity---> add--> select ETH/ILV
is that right?
I think I read in here that they changed it again but might be safer to wait until somebody with experience with this pool gives you a reply
!claim
How do I restake? do I withdraw the slp in the vesting tab then restake it?
do I need to pay gas fee 2 times then?
Where are you funds now? Are you unlocked?
ok so we wait, im gonna wait until VCs unlock anyway, i just wanted to make some rough calculations on revdis, i didnt know SLP tokens recieve revdis, is this correct?
The ILV portion of it will.
What is your goal for restaking? Did you want a higher multiplier? If you don't then you don't need to restake your SLP. You'll still gain yield with it being unlocked.
yeah I want a higher multiplier
Then yes you will need to withdraw and restake. This requires 2 transactions.
so worth it gas fee are low š
???
What is current apr ?
What do you think about a form of staking for verified Illuvium NFTs? I mean the valuable "trophy" ones like 'Rhamphyre Genesis Holo Promo' for example.
You can check the APR on illuvium.io official website
Ok
Did you upgrade?
Meaning the upgrade tx on the website. Nothing super special. No secret links in DMs.
I started staking last month when v2 went live
Ah.
You could send me some screenshots of your vesting tab. But Iām going offline and wonāt be able to help for awhile. Also no mod will dm first. Donāt trust any links.
Whats the difference in a token weight of 1 vs 2?
Token weight dictates how much staking rewards you'll receive. The % APR in the website is the rewards you're getting if you staked your tokens at 2.0 weight. If you staked at 1.0 weight, you'll get half the APR.
Ahh thanks ššæ
Problem solved. Tnx anyway š
are you guys being able to load the sushiswap app? mine is not loading, just clicked enter app and nothings loads
Well, now it opened, I had to click in the other "Enter APP" button in the website
pelican illuvimod already sent me a friend request... get lost scammer
the legacy is also gone on Sushi swap....
Weird... Whats the legacy that you refer to btw Jess?
Can you report him in #šØāćreport-scammers pls. Make sure to add the numeric discord ID
sushi swap changed their interface, it is now Liquidity -> Add ...
How much gas feed do I have to pay for setting up a contribution to the liquidity pool?
and is it me or many functions doesnt seem to be properly working/loading? I tried checking some other tabs but wouldnt load... somethings going on?
the slp logo is weird bu I think I got it
Watch out so you wouldn't mistake Axie SLP with SLP (sushi liquidity pool token)
I copied the SLP adress in helpfull link
should be ok I guess
I've done everything in the rules š I was not buying anyway but preparing for my next video
If people donāt mind sharing, how much% of your net worth did you put in the ILV/Eth staking?(out of curiosity)
100%
If you count the eth/ilv then probably 25 percent of my crypto portfolio. If just ilv purchases, I've been buying 100 a week since 1900, got it averaged down to like 650 I think, not counting the rewards accumulating from slp.
im at like 30% 50% of that in eth/ilv
Iāve never believed in a project more than this in my life
loads of potential for sure
This is really a game changer
for crypto boys who are gamers, for sure, if it ever hits mainstream we will be counting stacks on the bahama's
Soooooo; I'm new to this......
I've made my MetaMask account & added the tokens
ILV / SLP & sILV2 (via the helpful-links channel)
Now, how do I transfer my ILV to my metamask???? š
I personally took a credit from bank to invest in ilv 𤣠NFA
And fun fact, talked to the bank employee about crypto in general and after explaining everything about ilv he was looking to invest on his own Assel
Thatās crazy haha
That's awesome!! š
Hey, so I staked last year and just now came back to it. Seems like a lot to catch up on. for now... if I just withdrew some SLP deposits how to I convert to ETH? It's v1 (if there is a distinction).
converting to ILV and ETH on the illuvium site or third party?
you'll withdraw your SLP from illuvium.io, then go back to sushi.com, and remove liquidity from pool. This will give you ETH and ILV based on the current SLP price. If you want all ETH, you will then need to swap the ILV for ETH.
Thanks a bunch.
Lp providers also get a piece of the fees from the pool also right?
80%
yes, just don't expect much return there. Volume is pretty low relative to liquidity - say about 0.5% daily. At 0.25% fees going to the pool, per $1000 staked, you'll get about $0.0125 per day.
The rev dis of the main game will also be for the slp stacked token right ?
Only the ILV part of it
@cunning perch how is the ILV part of SLP calculated is it just value/2 then divided into market price ilv to determine # of tokens?
Whatever SLP represents, it's getting it from Sushi. All data is there.
Only 10% currently. Waiting until the token unlock happens and then itāll be closer to 60-70% .
ILV will be purchasing ILV from that pool for rev dis so that would help with the volume right?
So it's better just just stake in the ILV pool
can we still swap from v1 to v2 staking? i remember there was a certain period to switch over to not miss out on rewards or so
Is this for the ETH/ILV pool or both?
Yes, revdis should be a major factor on pool use in the future. @hollow fog I was only talking about sushi fees. Yield farming for the slp is MUCH higher.
100 ILV a week?!
100% of my personal wealth is in the ILV pool. Literally, 100%. I also have a self managed super fund. 50% of that is in ILV.
nah 100 bux lmao
Omg phew. I thought you were a billionaire
ive held off the last couples weeks since I think market gonna trend lower and I think ILV @ 500 is a bit high compared to the other alts that have gotten lower
@elder dawn if a person owns a whole ILV, how much revdis per year do you think they can expect in the first year, realistically? Assuming it is staked at 2 weight
You can still upgrade
Iām thinking it will not be crazy during the first year Iād say.
I agree, but what is everyone thinking, in terms of US dollars? Am I to expect say for example, $5 per ILV, or $25 per ILV, or $200 per ILV (per annum)

#š„©ćstaking message thereās may be something in this tool that youād be interested in as well.
Sweet. Thanks brother!
Yeah, I'm not a speculation guy. I'm excited from what I've seen of the beta, but we need meaningful adoption to get significant revdis. It's anyone's guess how steep the adoption curve will be, but given the market and mainstream gaming perception, there's some work to do. I'm just holding steady and waiting long term.
It's going to take time but it'll be worth it. Mainstream will come eventually. I'm just excited to see how and what changes occur to make it happen
Do we have an idea of how many people/volume of staking occurred as soon as staking opened nearly a year ago?
How to steak here?
!staking check the @woven ibex post below
Anything specific you're interested in? On my dashboard, linked in the message below, there is a graph of the number of SLP and ILV tokens staked since the start of staking. #š„©ćstaking message
Thanks ! I was looking to see how many stakes were unlocking if most locked for 1 year. Looks like roughly 30k SLP tokens will unlock if they all did a 1 year for 2x weight.
about 55% of the SLP is staked for a year. ILV has a much smaller amount locked for that long, aside from claimed ILV. i'm generally not as concerned that the unlocking SLP will get withdrawn. The big question is what happens to the unlocked vested ILV.
Yea that unlocking vesting ILV is definitely the big thing , either the token price or staking pools are going to take a hit
Personally I'm hoping for token price so I can buy more and stake it
my thought is the SLP will come down in percent. Token price down a bit. We should also see how land sale and Illuvitars do before then
The minute my stakes unlock after the 12 months, I'll be restaking anyway. I imagine most people who are serious about earning revdis will keep doing so
If i understood well, you dont have to restake after the 12months locking. It stays staked.
For now this is still the case, this might change in the future
Good to know !
did someone recently added liquidity pool? sushi swap changed again and removed the LEGACY tab
what does SLP price depend on? ETH and ILV? what should happen so SLP price comes down?
yes both ETH and ILV half ETH and half ILV
if both prices come down? they both come down? i remember adding pool a year ago, when ETH prices were like 2k and ilv was 200 and a token was like 2500
now is roughly the same price, but ETH and ILV are at much higher prices today
hi, i plan for staking, how much ETH to pay gas during process?
depending on gas prices maybe in all around 50-70$
thanks
I did claim ILV rewards and was expecting them to appear on the metamask - will they appear only in 12 months?
Rewards will never appear in your MM unless you claim, wait for 12 months and then withdraw.
You can claim sILV2 but outside of ILV ecosystem it officially has 0 monetary value/use case
Withdrawing now means they still wont be available correct? only in 12 months?
You can't withdraw if you just claimed ILV. It's wait for 12 months
It executed the withdrawal function
and zeroed- I think it shouldn't allow to withdraw
You can't withdraw any ILV rewards. The first ILV rewards will start unlocking in July. Who ever claims now, can withdraw exactly 12 months later
and who claims in 11 months - will be able to withdraw 12 months after that claim?
Yep
It's always claim ILV + 12 months
Thx š
Arash always seems to have the coolest pfp
really cool
whats the legacy tab for?
It's where you add liquidity to the pools
Please I need help, I stacked ILV using my metamask account which is now compromised I got scammed I still have access and my password has failed not yet been changed. I created a new wallet how to declare it in the platform. Is there a solution?
Hey. Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately it is almost impossible to do anything regarding compromised wallets, if the seed is compromised, then that possibility drops to almost 0
thank you for the answer
I just shamed the zapper team into updating the Illuvium Dashboard on Zapper by tomorrow
Feels good buying some cheap ILV, but sending it to my wallet and then staking it, cost me like $150...
Yesterday with about 26gas I paid roughly $50 but if you can wait until early Sunday morning it's way cheaper
Hello, it's been quite some time since I mentioned this issue, since then, I have dispatched 2 times successfully the transaction for "updating" the staking to v2, but this is what I see in my staking dashboard (can't seem to be able to upload the screenshot), it's basically still showing me that I'm in the V1 pool. Are you currently working on a fix for this, or should I just withdraw the tokens and put them in the v2 pool? If so, what about the tokens that are still in a locking period in the v1 pool?
if your tokens are still within the initial period that you locked them for, they will continue to appear as v1. there is not a way to move them to v2 until they are unlocked. the upgrade enables v2 to read the v1 contract, so you'll receive rewards. If you want the full features of v2, you'll need to wait until they unlock, unstake and then restake. if you just want to receive rewards, there's nothing else you need to do for now.
ok, thanks
hey, I went to the staking web page after a long time, and just see the migration process. I have just confirmed the migration but I can not see tokens I was previously staking. Any Ideas?
You can view your stakes on the vesting tab. If they arenāt shown there then they were probably withdrawn at some point.
OK OK, just needed to get around the site to find it. Thanks @brisk surge
Where was the link to the updated ILV Land prices? I can't find it anymore haha
Pinned in #š®ćilluvium-zero
How come the stakes decreasw
The apy? Or the amount of tokens that are deposited?
The rate is on a sliding scale right? I know when i started staking rate was 709% or some crazy amount like that and since then has slowly reduced, witch i remember reading someplace would happen
naturally less tokens will be emitted over time (3% less every 14 days i believe) and further it also depends on the amount of people being staked
What happens to the ILV/ETH LP fees of staked LP tokens?
Itās made to go down over time. Because thereās less ILV tokens to be distributed every two weeks.
Hello Tony,
Can you please provide me with the link ?
I would like to verify
Does anyone know if A Merkle Tree has been published ?
https://medium.com/illuvium/42-all-you-need-to-know-about-staking-v2-94e77f295ff - devs said here that A Merkle Tree of each userās accumulated yield weight in v1 will be published and stored in IPFS for full transparency. Anyone will be able to verify the authenticity of the data
Gotcha thx
Is there an info how many unclaimed sILV2 are there?
Very cool! I was using debank lately, but will happily move back š
Unclaimed rewards can be claimed as ILV or sILV2 so we can't really know what amount will claimed as sILV2. It would be nice to know the total amount of unclaimed rewards though!
Who here is investing in ILV to replace full time income? Any hands?
hi , I'm new. I already buy ILV and invest them in ILV Pool. now I buy ETH token and want to stake it in ILV/ETH Pool. All the Tutorial I watched do not explain it well with the new dashboard. I can not convert my ETH to sushi SL . please help.. TX
you need an equal amount in value of ILV and ETH for SL. So for example $500 worth of ILV and $500 worth of ETH and enough gas fee to get an SLP.
Most importantly, do not trust DMs.
There is the link to swap in the #šćhelpful-links
If u staked ur ilv in the pool you are gonna need more for the slp pool
Yes canāt wait to waste my time again checking my rewards every second lmao
Btw why does your Dashboard SLP staking daily show the weekly candles ? Or am I too stupid to figure it out
You're right, the name does't correspond to the actual graph.. changed it back just now š
mine were unlocked at time of swap,,Im earning but still says V1 as well? what other benefits are there? I assumed just a screen glitch not contarct?
Maybe I should add a configurable parameter on top, so select what granularity you want.
Thank you so much for your service, I watch your dashboard nearly daily!
Wow, that's very humbling to hear! š
What dashboard?
In my spare time I keep a dashboard with some stats I'm curious about.
You can find the link in the pinned messages, I can't paste a URL here for security reasons š It's a link to dune.xyz
So I was thinking about adding into the liquidity Pool. But I thought to my self that waiting for token unlock so I could get myself cheaper tokens (maybe) but then I realized it got nothing to do, right? It all depends on the SLP price. For me to get at a ācheaper price token would need to go down by a lot, so I can get more SLP for the same amount of money. Can someone correct me if Iām wrong. Also the more I wait the less tokens I get.
I donāt know what SLP price depends on. Does the price goes down if a lot of people claim their SLP as ilv/eth? Does it work the other way around?
The best day to buy illuvium is today and the best time to add liquidity on the SLP is right now. The ILV price could go up or down, start earning yield.
The SLP price depends on the prices of the assets that comprise it, ETH and ILV. It's certainly possible that the price of SLP will be cheaper after the unlocks start, but half of the value of an SLP token will still always be ETH. That means cheaper ILV will also mean you need MORE ILV per SLP token.
The main thing to consider (IMO, NFA) is that yield will start decreasing after unlocks start. It's likely a fair bit of the unlocking tokens end up in either the ILV only or the SLP pool. That's the main motivation to stake now, to capitalize on staking while the yield is still relatively high.
hello team!
I'm from the Zapper squad, is anyone available today to help out with the Staking V2 integration?
@worn turtle
Dm me
Staking shouldnāt affect lp fee distribution.
@worn turtle thank you king, sent you a friend request
Iām sorry, fees? Not sure I understand what you are asking here are you talking about the gas fees?
Stakers will get a tiny bit of it as mentioned by Sushi
What is he asking here exactly
This:
I see now
You can see what these fees are on apy.vision
They're pretty minimal. I have been staking for one year and have 5% of the initial value of my stake back as fees.
Love your dashboard and have been using it in the past. Will you updating it to include the V2 contracts?
It should include the v2 staking events now! I've been reviewing the queries gradually over the last few weeks.
Also thanks for the kind words sir! š
But the tokens are moved to the ilv pool contract, would that not void any fees generared?
No, because you get them when you remove your LP tokens on the sushi site. The one who returns the LP tokens gets the fees, and that will be you (after your LP tokens unlock and are removed from illuvium staking).
if you didn't withdraw and restake, the tokens were still under v1, and will show as such. locking under v2 enables even lower transaction fees and additional functionality (moving wallets). If you're still unlocked, upgrading just enabled reading the contract and you can still unstake and restake if you want to gain the above functionality. If you don't care and are happy with your current pool weight, you don't have to take any further action.
I locked in my staking for a year in October. I assumed there would be nothing else to do. Now, I have to pay the eth gas fees to stake to V2, which puts a significant dent in what I'll earn from the rewards. I'm not upgrading. Is there any option to unlock the staking before October this year?
It's something between 10-20$ to upgrade? How much did you stake? 50 bucks? š
And no, if you've locked it it's locked.
@barren frost #āćrules
To benefit from the lower gas fees when claiming it is best to withdraw from V1 and re-stake it as V2?
that depends on your stake size, and more specifically, how often you claim. There's no clear rule, but the bigger the stake, the more it makes sense to withdraw and restake. For the "average" stake size, it's not likely a good idea. Or if you really value the other v2 functionality.
Yea... I wonder whats the % difference between V1 gas fees claiming and V2, do you have anything on that regard?
i haven't seen enough data to clarify that yet. I will say that v1 claiming got much cheaper lately as well, being that gas has been lower, ETH is down, and most of all for those in the SLP, that claims can be made as a single transaction.
I claimed this past weekend with Gwei around 15, and my SLP claim of both pools was under $15. I can't see a V2 claim being that much cheaper.
Much better than my $200+ claim back in November
if you have two eth/ilv deposits, you have to claim them separately?
No, you claim by pool, and now under the new interface, you can claim both pools together in one transaction.
I was wondering if we'd ever see gas fees lower then 40 again, but we did
The biggest gain is for people staked in both pools or SLP (where you also need to claim rewards on auto-staked ilv). Claims on both pool can now be bundled into one. There are also gas optimisations, but they are minor in comparison afaik.
When I look at the list of stakes I see v1 next to all but one. What does it mean if I don't see v1 next to my stake?
My guess is that is your claim after v2 implementation - that one is under v2.
Ah, ok - so once the rest of them expire, I'll need to either claim or restake them as v2?
Or you just leave them there and you get revdis
I'll probably do that, so long as they keep earning.
I have one expired stake with a v1 next to it, and another without anything.
The one without anything has a check box next to the withdraw button. If I check that, it lets me select how much I want to withdraw.
was it flexible or staked for less than 1 month? I don't know what those look like, but if originally flexible, it will no longer be earning in V2. since you can withdraw, that may be the situation
Hey. Could someone please provide me w an exact date for the July token release?
its a daily unlock, starting June 30. About 7k tokens per day from the seed/team side, and then 4-10k per day of vested ILV yield farming rewards
they are all already revdis eligible - if nothing happens, they stay staked. the question on my mind is percent that is sold (for various reasons, not FUD), and the percent of the team/seed tokens that move to the yield farming pools. For the vested ILV, its a question if they are left in the ILV pool (at 2x weight) or if they move over to the SLP.
I was wondering if anyone knew if it was better to have SLP staked for Redis or just ILV. Is it going to be similar to the APY situation we have now where SLP will get a higher Redis percentage
