Right now, 1 SLP is 2.376 ILV and .458 ETH. The composition of a single SLP token changes as the price of ILV and ETH change.

It's kind of arbitrary what 1 SLP is made up of.

Rewards from staking have to be manually claimed and GAS fees for those transactions have to be paid:

• When you stake ILV yield farming rewards start piling up for you
• You claim those rewards whenever you deem the pile to be big enough to justify gas fees
• If you claim sILV you have it unlocked right away (sILV is only usable in game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena)
• If you claim ILV then that batch of ILV gets locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effect
• New rewards start piling up....rinse and repeat

NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.

You would need to WITHDRAW the ILV rewards after they unlock in 12 months. Yes. It’s one of the strongest points of the tokenomics.

And those vesting rewards are staked and earning that entire time until they are withdrawn.

   Go to sushi and connect your wallet. Then go to Legacy --> Swap --> And --> convert 40-45% of your ETH to ILV.
   You need to keep some ETH in the wallet for gas

2. Approving the Sushi contract
   Go to sushi --> Legacy --> Add --> ETH <--> 0x767FE9EDC9E0dF98E07454847909b5E959D7ca0E (ILV address) --> press "Approve ILV", confirm the transaction with MetaMask

3. Add liquidity
   Go to sushi --> Legacy --> Add --> ETH <--> 0x767FE9EDC9E0dF98E07454847909b5E959D7ca0E (ILV address) --> enter an amount of ETH and ILV you wish to stake --> Press "Confirm Adding liquidity"

4. Stake the SLP tokens through the Illuvium Staking App and set your lock period.

When you claim ilv, they are staked for 12 months (at 2x weight) in the ilv core pool. That is effectively compounding. Revdis will require claiming and staking (if you want to stake). Revdis isn't locked when claimed

I did. If you do nothing, you get the apr. Apy implies compounding. Compounding requires claiming, and it is up to you how often you claim. I believe the new buttons will show a simulated apy (impact of compounding) based on how often you choose to claim. I'll do updated videos on this soon, but feel free to watch my v1 ones. Depending on your stake size, transaction fees will be impactful. Compounding isn't free.

The buttons do nothing. the only thing that affects how often you compound is how often you claim. You can claim every 60 seconds if you want to.

You still need to click claim. You choose how often you want to click claim. When you click claim, ilv rewards compound. The more often you click claim, the more compounding you get, but every time you click costs gas, so make sure the compounding is worth it.

If you had any sILV in the past for whatever reason (claim, purchased on a DEX, someone sent it to you, etc.), you wouldn't have automatically received sILV2 in your wallet when the team launched the new token contract. Those who previously had sILV in their wallets needed to claim the new token through the Illuvium site 🙂

A twist indeed! Looks like you might want to do some digging into your transaction history on Etherscan 😄

Perhaps download your transaction history dating all the way back to when you first started staking (comes in a CSV Excel file) and then filter for the sILV and sILV2 values? You might be able to piece together what happened.

Hey. If you are planning to use Ledger with your stake, you have to withdraw and send the tokens to MM-Ledger and THEN re-stake and lock through your MM-Ledger wallet. Upgrading won't give you the transfer option as long as you are staked on V1. Your stakes will always be on V1 unless you withdraw them and re-stake on V2 manually.

well you cannot withdraw locked tokens. Gonna have to wait until they are unlocked and the the withdrawal. You have to upgrade now regardless of the tokens being locked/unlocked if you want Yield/RevDis in a day or so.

Your stakes will always be on V1. They are just now using V2 perks hence the name “upgrade”. They are still staked on V1. If you want them on V2, you'll have to go through the withdrawal procedure 🙂

In the vesting tab, the locked button will be unlocked and you can press, pay gas and withdraw to wallet (and in your case send to MM-Ledger address) and then re-stake and re-lock like you do normally.

It's not so much about releasing it as it is about calculating it. The APY won't be shown on the website until yield goes live. Right now, it's correctly doing the calculation (but there is no yield, so it's showing no value).

Here's a simplified version that won't be 100% accurate but should be close. There's $787M in staked ILV right now. We're gonna assume they are all locked at the same weight (most will be at 2.0 weight). That translates to 1228629 ILV staked. Right now, 11057 ILV are allocated to the ILV only pool every 2 weeks. We're looking at a year, so we'll multiply that by 26 (2x26 = 52 weeks). That's 287482 ILV distributed to the ILV only pool per year.

287482 / 1228629 = 23% APY.

Note that not all ILV are actually staked at 2.0 weight, and more ILV could be added to the pool before staking goes live. Also, the APY drops over time, because next 2 week epoch there will not be 11057 ILV distributed to that pool, there will be 3% less.

Hey MuscleBoy-- Claiming the rewards as ILV will vest and lock those rewards in the ILV pool for 12 months starting from the time you claim them.

If your staked deposit is currently locked, it will still continue its vesting process as usual in V2 from whatever point it's at currently. No additional time is added to the lock of the original deposit. Hope that answers the question! 😅

When you go to upgrade your pool from V1 to V2, you choose to claim the 0.5 pending tokens as ILV.

Your staked deposit of 9 ILV will be ready for V2 rewards distributions and that 9 ILV will still have 3 months left to vest before it becomes unlocked.

The 0.5 ILV you claimed will vest in the ILV pool on V2 as well, but this will have a vesting/lockup period of 12 months (same as any rewards claimed as ILV)

Once you have done the upgrade from V1 that's all you need to do

Ahh so Illuvium actually added a direct Trezor connection, I only just noticed. That's very rare so I didn't expect it.
Can't help you with that as most people don't use that.
If you want to make it work with metamask - go to trezor official wiki - search for "metamask" and trezor has an article on how to do it. Avoid dodgy links in google, trezors site should be fine.

It was tokenized liquidity. Their whitepaper and documentation was pretty complicated, but basically it let token holders decide what projects they wanted to incentivize liquidity providers for, and in return covered LP's IL. There was a lot going on, I'd have to re-read it all to remember fully.

depends on the ETH network and what you set your gas at when going through the upgrade process, gas atm is very high so I'd recommend waiting if you can. If you are currently waiting on your transaction then more than likely gas spiked up higher after you submitted your transaction and it may take awhile unless you choose to speed it up.

You can watch the gas tracker on the right hand side or on the staking website itself and wait for gas to come down between 20 and 40 gwei (personally what I consider reasonable) and this would probably land you roughly between like $15 to $30 in gas fees would be my guess? All really subjective tho, if your a mega whale and your staking rewards are acruing at ridiculous amounts you may not care if you spend double that in gas fees 🤣
