Will that „excess yield“ just go to yield for all people staked after activation period, or distributed to stakers who were staked during activation period?

No worries. APY Depends on how many people are staking plus apy goes down every two weeks 2.5% I think. Yeah you got the bonus already by upgrading both pools. Bonus is the wrong word somehow, it’s the amount of rewards you would have got if staking wasnt paused

Something like 125K SLP staked, 3.4K reduction in these two days, which is around 2.6% reduction in the pool. This epoch 44K of rewards are getting distributed, so like 3.1K of ILV per day. 21K for the activation period. So there would be around 550 ILV to be distributed. 0.0044 ILV per SLP if you are staked like over 6 months. So if you have over 227 SLP, it’s about not getting you 1 ILV+ for the activation period which you should have got, that’s 10K+ missing in your pockets in 6 months 😉

I occasionally have this issue come up with ledger, usually either mean i need to update the ledger in ledger live, or another fix is deleting the metamask, reinstalling it (and reinserting my hot wallet seed in) and then reattaching my ledger to it a fresh, solves the issue 99% of the time

Its annoying ledger glitch that happens to me maybe once a month and nothing else seems to solve it, i look forward to the day this tech gets more streamlined and idiot proof

When upgrading, it showed me that i should get some rewards, but they are not added to the deposited ammont in the vesting window. Maybe just cant see yet the rewards or what?

Of you go to Dashboard, it'll show you your total portfolio amount (in $$), it'll show you how much ilv and $$ you have in the ilv pool, and it'll show you how much slp and $$ you have in the ilv/eth pool

Rewards are paused right now for 1 week. They will not show up until that period is over.

We have a little more than 12 ILV that shows as locked in V1 vesting even though you told me yesterday that it was "impossible" for us to have staked during that time frame. What are the plans for funds that were not moved out of V1 during this switching over period? Will they be returned to wallets? Continue to be held until they are unlocked from V1?

Well since you staked somehow during the pause, it's out of the timeline of the snapshot and your stake is not eligible to receive rewards. And since it's locked, then there is nothing to be done about it, logically.

Now the team will try to see if there is a way to add to V2 the possibility to count these kinds of stakes to receive rewards, but there is no guarantee in that. We know that the ILV team is one the most caring teams ever and if there is something to be done, they will def do it. They have proven it time and time. But regarding your issue, if there is nothing to be done, you might have to wait until your stakes unlock, then withdraw and then properly re-stake and lock on V2 to receive Yield and RevDis.

To make it short, you just have to wait for them to try and see if there is something they can do, or no. 🙂

What I did is :
Create a dumb metamask, then connect the trezor on it.
Use metamask to connect to illuvium staking.
Went flawless

With the trezor connect directly on illuvium, I had several problem :
-error after validating
-unable to select my second eth adresse on the trezor..

Well got tired so now just use trezor throught MM, and this is good

yes, that is basically it. on the ilv it's important to know it will also keep accuring extra ilv tokens while staked. on the silv2 it's important to know it's only worth 1 ilv inside the illuvium ecosystem (not when swapping on a dex).

Someone buys a travel fee or shard using eth to go and capture illuvials. Eth gets used to buy ilv. Then it's given to stakers

With staking v2 and lower transaction fees, 2 ILV should be reasonable as long as you don't plan to unstake quickly. Revenue distribution will be a big contributor to smaller stakes having a good return

In this staking protocol they just have a set amount of ilv being distributed over a certain period of time. Lelahel and I have made calculators, but with v2, they likely need updates. I would claim way less than when your rewards equal gas. If you do that, you're essentially just buying ilv with eth. It's all about the rewards earn you will earn, not what you already have. I have some videos and articles on this, though the math needs updated for v2

It’s safe. The apy may not be visible until March 31. Apy is variable. Depends a lot on how many tokens are staked and how many ILV tokens are being distributed to the pools. But the apy before the pause was around 30% for the ILV only pool. And the eth/ILV pool was around 300% BUT this pool is highly impacted by ILV and eth token price fluctuations. ILV up means higher apy. But it doesn’t change how many ILV are being distributed.

It's a bit of a trick question. The real question is: How long have other people been able to get rewards by re-staking, and that's just a few days because it just went live, this week. I waited for my Friday night to do it just because that's when gas is usually cheaper (lately) and I do my defi shuffles at that time, if I have any.

The tricky part is that you could have ended your reward gathering a number of ways/times between now and January. If you didn't, then you collected rewards today when you did the re-stake, that would be your "max" and you only missed a few days.

Hi guys hows it going, I'm a little bit worried about something and was hoping a mod or someone knowledgeable could help me out... I had a flexible deposit, from many months ago, and was prompted to withdraw it to continue receiving rewards... well I just withdrew it (or so I think), but, now, I don't see that deposit anymore at all, anywhere in the illuvium staking website... furthermore, the withdraw was marked with an error message, the transaction hash shows the message "Fail with error 'amount exceeds stake'"... but, this flexible amount that I withdrew was actually only a few dollars, so it is fine if it is lost forever, I had just done this first deposit many months ago as a "test" deposit to make sure everything would work, and then I made a larger deposit right after, which is currently a locked deposit in the ILV/ETH pool... so, my question is, what will happen when I upgrade my ILV/ETH pool? I am super worried the same thing will happen to the larger staked deposit I have which is still locked, there may be some error, and I might lose everything... thanks so much guys for any help 🙏

You need to have both tokens. So if you have ETH, buy equivalent ILV from a dex. I would also make sure to have enough ETH for gas so probably, 4.5 ETH to 4.5 ILV equivalent and 1 ETH to pay gas fees.

In July I bought 2 ILV, staked 1 plain and added ETH to the other and staked the SLP. That SLP generated WAY more ILV than the solo token did. I've added over time, but at this point I don't see the point in buying ILV tokens to stake them outside the liquidity pool if your goal is to get as much ILV as possible. NFA, but if you have the option to get into the SLP pool, I would def do it.

I think most of us support the idea of a 12 month lock for 2x the weight of staking rewards. Plus, revenue distribution from in game transactions haven’t even begun yet, and we’re pretty much all firm believers in the longevity of this project. I think the easiest (and sloppiest) way to estimate future values and RevDis is the following: there are around 8M tokens that will have RevDis so you have to make two guesses (1) what the yearly revenue of Illuvium will be and (2) what percent return the market would expect for investing in Illuvium. For example, if (1) was $200M and (2) was 10%, then $200M/8M = $25/ILV/year for revdis with a token price of $25/10% = $250. Just an example, put in your own values if you think this makes sense. NFA.

ILV: it is a governance /staking token ( passive income) You can't buy anything with ILV

**Fuel ** will be the main currency when the game starts . You buy Fuel with ETH only

sILV-2 is the token you can use as an Alternative to fuel it can be used for any non Fuel ( you cant buy fuel with it) non player ( you cant buy anything off another player with it) in game fees , or equipment costs.

sILV-2 will always = <market price> ILV

As well as Official events the admins deem it eligible ( like #🎮〕illuvium-zero Land sale or Illuvitar sale )

ETH : - fuel and anything other player related off the illuviDex (not yet released)

All my ILV in the ILV only pool is from "claimed rewards". I have only ever "deposited" into the LP pool, using SLP. ,

2. I can then use the Transfer/Change Wallet feature to move to a new (cold) wallet?
   Does this still apply if I have both Locked, Unlocked, AND Flexible deposits?

That’s correct. ILV yield farming rewards spend 12 months vesting after claimed. Meaning locked and earning in the ILV only pool for 12 months after claiming.

Rewards from staking have to be manually claimed and GAS fees for those transactions have to be paid:

• When you stake ILV yield farming rewards start piling up for you
• You claim those rewards whenever you deem the pile to be big enough to justify gas fees
• If you claim sILV you have it unlocked right away (sILV is only usable in game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena)
• If you claim ILV then that batch of ILV gets locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effect
• New rewards start piling up....rinse and repeat

NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.
