#🥩〕staking

Why not. If you are staying for like a very long time while making money through RevDis (with the weight of 2X) and game itself, so, why would you unstaked 😄
if you are locked, you will get it. When you get unlocked, you will have to move to V2.
Ah, got, all cool
Exactly lol. I've been in the core pool a bit and finally pulled the necessary funds to dump into SLP
revdis only to locked was known from the start
RevDis will be free to claim, unless that changes. But I don;t think that will happen cuz RevDis is tokens bought from the market that don't require vesting
Enjoy the gains m8 🙂
Better late than never lol. I was using Lelahel's calculator yesterday and was making me drool a little when comparing with Axie's market cap and numbers... 😁
droool is good for the soul 😄
So my buddy staked SLP last week, but for the last three days when looking at the dashboard, after connecting his wallet, it just spins and never loads. Using mobile coinbase wallet. Any idea why?
Now that's when you crack out of enjoyment 😄
Looks about right 🤣
Ask him to upgrade his browser, changes it if necessary, Updates his wallet and it should work. If not, let me know.
omg gas
there goes my claiming haha 😄
What’s happening with gas all the sudden ?
i bet another shitty punks
NFT minting probably
It went from 70gwei to 700 almost instantly
Oh ok 👍🏻 crazy world 😅
The volatile world of Ethereum gas fees lol
was planning to check my dash after 2 weeks today, I guess I will postpone it to next weekend 😄
it can calm down tomorrow though
Yeah I was hesitant of adding SLP to stake or wait, I guess that’s a sign I should wait 😅
Yeah Sunday if often the winner winner, chicken dinner but lately people been keeping the network busy. No slow down last weekend.
Yeah now today’s transactions are going to get pushed to tomorrow
It might even level out by later today, it's already down to 400
Where do you view current SLP token value? Using Etherscan?
Thanks 👌
not only value, but also a composition
Is the number that comes from Etherscan when you click the "learn more" through Illuvium staking dashboard the original SLP price then? It shows 3k whereas Zerion shows 4.7k
true to say never compared with Etherscan, can't say for sure
Nah I think I was just being dumb lol, all good thanks!
when a deposit is vested and I withdraw it, is that just one transaction or will it require me to claim rewards too? (planning on restaking at different weight which will cause me to claim rewards, hoping don't have to claim rewards twice)
Hey guys I have a few questions regarding staking, I’ve staked 5 ILV, will I be able to use 5 sILV to use for land sales/ in game or am I misunderstanding the way it works, thanks in advance for your response
Any sort of withdrawal should require you to claim rewards too.
sILV is one rewards you can claim. You can check your dashboard to see how much is there that you can claim in either ILV or sILV
is it even worth staking .2 ilv? better to wait to have a whole 1 or 2?
I would suggest not staking unless you have at least around $3-4k in ILV and minimum $300 in ETH to pay for gas. Gas can be reking cuz rn to stake mean you have to pay about minimum $200 is gas only
ok
hey🤗 if i already own ilv (in kucoin) there will still be gas fee's in the process to stake? and what is that v2 that will lower the gas fees?
Yes staking requires a transaction on the eth net which means you pay gas fees
But I'm an unaware of any staking in kucoin. To stake ilv you need to do it at their website where you have to connect an etc 20 wallet
oh ok thanks for the explanation, so is it worth to stake 1000$ with the current gas fees? or is it a better idea to wait for that "V2" thing?
If you can accumulate and get a bigger ilv bag. Don't wait for gas fees to go down or wait for V2. Get a bag where it would be worth it to stake right away. Each day you're not staked you're losing on ilv rewards and apy slowly goes down. If you can't get a bigger bag then yeah wait until V2 or for gas fees to be low enough that the rewards makes sense even with the fees.
@Arash how come you're on here 24/7 lol. I've got a question about impermanent loss. Considering that if ILV shoots up my hypothetical 2 ILV within my SLP can be brought down to a mere 0.1 ILV, can you still make enough ILV rewards by staking it to compensate for it?
yes, thats the whole premise of staking in SLP
eventually the risk will outweigh the reward though. i think getting in SLP now is still good
Thanks. What do you define by risk "eventually"?
When the yield rewards generated diminish to a point where it might have been better to staked as ILV pool, and it isnt as clear cut anymore that the rewards will outweigh IL
This will especially be the case when revdis comes out
Right, but right now we're still at around 400% API right? That would only be the case if we get down to something below 50% ish I guess?
Haven't done the math on that tbh, but i think there will be a point where the risk of IL will become a lot more apparent once the APY drains out. Also when revdis comes, as you need to factor in the portion of ILV in your SLP that could have been used for revdis in ILV core pool
But yes for now, SLP is great.
Ah yes but by then if you've got enough ILV rewards (above your initial investment within SLP) then regardless of how hit you are from IL I would still call that a big win 😄 thanks!
Yeah, youll be able to sleep at night either way :p
np
Trying to claim some ILV through LP staking, approved the first 'Process Rewards' request in Metamask but accidentally rejected the second, any idea how I get back to that second transaction or do I have to do it all over again?
Based on my experience, you probably paid the gas for the approval transaction already. You have to do it all again.
well If you rejected, you have togo through it again. When you press "claim SLP rewards" it's always a 2 tx.
all again, first gas goes down the drain
Gotcha, thanks all
yup, i did this a few times when i first claimed my rewards...i did it like 3 times until i went onto discord wondering why it couldnt claim. RIP all those fees
haha well, you are getting them back for sure. 😄
yeah safe to say it wont matter in the long run haha
Ohh ok, and how much would you recommend as a minimum to stake rn? And V2 is referring for "Ethereum 2.0"?
V2 are some upgrades the Illuvium team are making to improve the staking experience (optimized for lower gas fees, UI improvements, etc.)
I just stake my ILV on the sushi pool. Whats the reason why I can't redeem my sILV? The button is still greyed out. Is there a certain threshold?
So....you staked ETH + ILV on Sushi? The you should have received the SLP token. You should add the token address to your wallet manually. Then to stake, you need to stake the SLP in ILV core pool and then you will start receiving rewards and then you can choose to claim ILV or sILV each time you claim
Ohh i mean i staked my SLP token on the Sushi LP pool. Then again, i still can't claim the sILV or ILV. Any reason why is that??
“Staked my SLP on Sushi” are you talking about AXIE SLP?
Nope. Its the token that you received after liquidating it from sushi. ILV + ETH. That said token, I staked it on the one of the core pools (the one with higher yield).
Ok. Have you done this? 👇
Providing liquidity for ILV is done via an ILV/ETH Pool on SushiSwap and requires a few different steps compared to staking only ILV. These steps are the following:
- You acquire a 50/50 ratio of both ILV and ETH (in $)
- You go to: https://app.sushi.com/add/ETH/0x767FE9EDC9E0dF98E07454847909b5E959D7ca0E
- After approving the contract (if this is your first interaction with it), you stake your 50/50 ratio of ETH and ILV in the pool
- You receive SLP tokens (To see them, add the SLP contract address to your wallet: 0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda)
- You go to: https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/core
- You can now stake your SLP Tokens in the Sushi LP pool just like ILV is staked in the ILV pool.
If you never provided LP before though, make sure to understand IL: https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/impermanent-loss-explained
If you just staked it there wont be much reward built up yet. The staking UI doesnt let you claim super tiny amounts usually. Give it a few days and you should see the rewards piling up a bit more.
Awesome! Thank you for the clarification :) and i just want to say out loud that i hate the gas fees. Ty
Yes and thank you for the info!
No worries. After staking in core pool you will start getting rewards every 15 secs
I want to stake, how much is the recommended minimum?
Any minimum that justifies paying gas for. Rn just to stake, you need to pay about $100 gas fees
hey everyone, new to ILV and trying to get engaged with staking
!staking
When holding ILV, staking is a way to gain additional rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution. The process for staking is the following:
- You acquire either some ILV or some Sushi LP tokens
- You go to: https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/core
- You enter the right pool according to the tokens you acquired
- You decide whether to lock your deposit or not (if locked, you will receive more rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution, but you cannot withdraw your deposit until the chosen locking period is over)
- After approving the contract (if this is your first interaction with it) you confirm the staking of the desired tokens
You can find an in-depth video for staking here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6YugU4zZr4&t=1s
Ok just to see if I understand it well🙂 If I will lock stake 1.5ILV for 4monthes rn I will receive about 3ILV right? So its well worth the 100 bucks
You can watch the video at the end of this it will help you understand the entire process for staking @ionic river
thanks!
Well that the decision you can only make. If you are ok with $100 gas sure, but you are just paying $100 rn to stake. To claim you also pay gas. To withdraw you also pay gas. And AFTER you claim ILV rewards, they will be locked for one year. Make sure you know all if this.
i'm at 10:21 on the youtube vid, i completed purchasing ILV on Sushi, but my wallet is still only showing a balance in ETH and nothing under ILV
!contract You might have to add the token to your wallet.
ILV Token: 0x767fe9edc9e0df98e07454847909b5e959d7ca0e
ETH/ILV SLP Token: 0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda
sILV Token: 0x398aea1c9ceb7de800284bb399a15e0efe5a9ec2
Your wallet can hold tokens without displaying them sometimes.
i see ETH and ILV as tokens in my wallet, but the balance is still in ETH and not in ILV
Ok thank you very much 👍 just to know the math is right, the 1.5 ilv will become 3 at the end of the 4 months, this is for sure right? And if I'm claiming the reward as sILV it will be ready to use in game as soon as the game out right?
An ETH wallet will usually show the balance as ETH, as that is the transactional currency on the ETH network.
No nothing is for sure as reward distribution drops with the APY. The more ppl also join will drop your rewards. So you will most certainly receive fewer. Look at it as example of adding more water to your lemonade will make it thinner. This also happens to your stake. And yes sILV will be released to your wallet immediately
definitely, that all makes sense
but the balance under ILV is still $0 and the balance under ETH hasn't changed even though i completed the transaction on Sushi
Oh - Your transaction is probably pending.
Depending on what gas price you decided to use, transactions can take a while to go through.
You should be able to see this by searching your wallet address on Etherscan.
gotcha, i'll keep an eye out.
on etherscan transaction:
Method - Approve
Age - 30 mins
Value - 0 Ether
Txn fee - .006484...
does that look like it's still pending? concerned that the value is 0 ether.
balance on my address on etherscan is just displayed in Ether, should i see ILV on etherscan for a balance?
I can have a look if you like. My successful swap looks like this:
Hmmm ok so if I lock stake for a certain time the apy is still changing and not dependent on the apy value of when I started stakeing
Yes exactly. APY will def change and keep on changing as will the reward distribution
Ok I get it now, thanks😊
Anytime 🙂
I know this will probably be based on personal preference and risk tolerance, but I bought 4 ILV and wanted to stake. I don't have enough eth right now to match for SLP. Would you recommend that I stake to ILV right now, or would it be better to wait a month when I have the eth, and stake to SLP?
You can always wait to get more ETH or depending on the gas price you can always sell 2 ILV for the equal amount of ETH since over time that would yield you more tokens compared to the single ILV but that choice is up too you.
i mean one way you get 20-40% return a year, the other you get 200-400+% a year, that's really all one needs to think about imo to make a good decision
Personally, I'd wait for ETH. Completely up to you though, make sure you understand the risks/benefits of each pool before you decide.
Hey, i bought some ilv on binance. How to stake those ilv tokens via the illuvium staking website?
Hey guys, new here, how can I stake my ILv?

Got it, thanks guys. Seems like the consensus is to wait and stake SLP. Appreciate it
Thanks guys
Thx a lot 🙏🏻 . Your calculator is awesome. Great help for everybody. 👍🏻
Holy smokes. amazing work. this calculator works great!
Can you stake in both pools at the same time?
sure. You can stake SLP in LP and ILV in ILV pool. and even have some ILV in Flexible pool.
Thank you!
what does 1 SLP equate to in value
you mean how much it is? you can checl here https://app.zerion.io/invest/asset/SLP-0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda
Sorry i'm relatively new to this - So i send my ilv that I have on Binance, via a ERC20 transaction, to my Metamask wallet? The wallet will identify it as illuvium and I can stake directly on the website then?
Yes. Please add the token address to your MM to be able to see the tokens and also send ETH to your MM so you will have money to pay for gas fees and read the following docs:

is there a site i can use to manage my impermant loss percentage
I believe apy.vision might help you
Best calculator you can find
I loved the "extreme" part 😄
Me too
just staked 1.24 SLP, it was quite a process but i finally got it done
don't forget to claim occasionally 🙂
thanks yh thatst what i was lookig for
You can see few helpful links/sheets that might help You out when it is worth to claim it in pinned messages.
about to stake, going for core pool. Am I dumb for that?
Was also wondering about this.
I'm gonna just go for ilv staking since more value is locked their and don't wanna worry about impermanent loss bc that confuses me
It stressed me out when I did it as well 😂
thank again for everything !
Not sure what I’m gonna do with all the rewards at the end of the first year 😅
So if I flexibly stake 1 ILV token for 6 months and then claim as ILV, the amount in ILV will be locked for 12 months before being added to my total ILV wallet or whatnot? And then I can restake if I want?
Nothing wrong with staking the ILV Core Pool. I wish I had staked the SLP in hindsight, but I'm also a big proponent of understanding what you're investing in. As long as you understand the risks of each pool, both are viable.
With the rewards I’ve gained over the first year can they be migrated to v2& staked along with my current SLP?
This is correct - Your stake will remain active even after it unlocks. If you're staking flexibly, you'll be unlocked the entire time.
All rewards claimed as ILV will be locked for 12 months before they are available for you to unstake them. During the time they are locked (we call it vesting), those rewards will generate their own rewards, as they are staked at a 2.0 weight in the Core ILV Pool.
If you regret it, buy more and stake SLP! This project is moon bound
My ILV stake unlocks in 10 days, and I will be staking the SLP at that point. I'm maxed out RE: investment, 100% into ILV for months now lol

Wow that takes balls, respect
and you've probably made a killing so far
The right project deserves taking a risk on 🙂 This was the project for me 😄
I feel the same way, but I'm scared all its value will be lost in bearmarket, so I'm kinda waiting for that to go all in all in
Not as much as some people, I think my average buy is something like $300-350, but yeah, still very good IMO
I've thought a lot about trying to time things RE: bear market, but honestly, I'm long on the project and ultimately I think my investment will snowball over time. I could make like 50-60% more if I do things perfectly, but given my knowledge of TA and how long I've been into crypto, I'm just gonna play it long and hodl.
It seems like fucking around with market timing is an easy way to get burnt if you make a mistake.
Your rewards should have dropped your avg too. That's a pretty impressive one
Thats vibes. My strat is to sell the top is look solely at pi cycle indicator bc it has literally never missed timing the top (inlcuding this year)
Yeah my average is in the thousands so I wish I was paying attention back then
My 1.31 weight stake has been making me sad for quite a while haha - all the claimed ILV rewards funnelling into the Core Pool at 2.0 weight have diluted my rewards pretty hard at this point lol. Still, I think total I'm up 15%-20% in ILV quantity from when I started, which I can't complain about.
Well as long as you stake and/or add you'll keep dropping it cuz you get rewards too.
Yessir. About stake today!
No worries. You'll probably do 2X that SLP and stake the RevDis and massively drop the avg
Same 😂 Degens 🤝
Proud of you ☺️
I'm super excited TBH - I onboarded my GF, she's gonna put up the ETH component of the SLP stake so we don't actually lose or have to sell any ILV in the process.
Man when your partner is onboard, your gains will be doubled there. That's one hell of a teamwork 👍
Months of me talking about crypto has finally paid off lmao
I more or less went all in on ILV lol i locked into SLP and it’s nice checking the rewards and my initial investment has shot up.
Im gonna DCA for the duration now cause I’m sure there’s still money to be made 100%.. probably restake the rewards I’ve gained at the end of the vesting period if that’s possible also
Sure. We’re still under $1b and might smash right through it like forever. Besides you can stake that RevDis too if not planning to sell it. That would be even a stronger boost to your portfolio as the number of the tokens you hold matters
I’m in the process of getting my partner on board, she’s already given the ok to play as much as I can when the game releases.. all those months of drilling into her gaming is my passion may pay off 👀
I’m hodling I think we’re at the beginning of something huge! I didn’t know you can stake revdis as well that’s a good bonus
Yes you can cuz it's unlocked. You should be able to withdraw or stake or do whatever you want with it.
I dno if I’m biased or not but I can’t be the only one that’s super bullish all the time about ILV 😂
It’s made me wanna try content creating when the game releases, not many things inspire me 😂
You are not biased my friend. Humans are attracted to perfection. And now you are a part of it 😄
Hey guys ! Quick question from newbie here 😇 ! What is your staking strategy and what is your advice for people who just started please ? Should I put all my eth into silv to prepare the land auction of should I stak ilv to get silv ?

Can someone explain this tip part above please? I have 5SLP token, do I get 0.25% of all trades or how does it work? Thanks in advance
The trade fees that sushi collects are deposited into the staking pool. So you never claim these trade fees they just get baked into the amount of ETH and ILV you get when you break apart your SLP.
Okay i kinda understand. Basically the longer im in, the more my 5SLP will be worth? Then obvs price of both coins change aswell
@mint cave ban or warn? 👆
Yeah, if both tokens somehow remained completely steady the SLP token would slowly appreciate in value due to fees.
Hi, I am looking to stake more ILV, but it seems like I need to first accept rewards I've generated so far. Can I receive rewards in sILV so my rewards are staked again?
When the staking period ends, only the rewards are locked for a year or the ILV you first staked or both of them?
You can choose to claim rewards as ILV or sILV. Claimed ILV rewards get locked for a year. sILV is not locked. You can't stake sILV.
Hey! I have claimed rewards (both SLP and ILV). The ILV went fine but the SLP one has been in pending for an hour... won´t let me cancel it niether... do you know if I should just keep waiting?
Did gas prices increase since you initiated the txn? That can slow things down
It has gone up and down, but i thought it would have finished by now
Nice one bro, thanks for the help! I’ve been staked for 2m now and learning something new about it all everyday🤣
Only the ILVreward get locked for a year or also the ILV/SLP you staked?
You choose the locking period for what you are staking. It is only ILV rewards that automatically restaked. When you stake, any rewards are claimed at that time as well. If you claim as ILV the is automatically staked for a year at a weight of 2.
Hi , sorry for asking mate but did you mean here maybe 0.2 ILV instead of 0..02 .. how can it be such huge difference between the SLP pool and normal core pool staking 0.75 against 0.02 rewards? It is more than 30x higher rewards in the SLP pool than in the core pool but when I calculate it is max 9 x higher APY approximately 500% : 65 %? Appreciate your answer.
Have you tried using any of the calculators you can input numbers for number of SLP and ILV and that can show you the difference between the two pools https://cooper1903.shinyapps.io/stakingyield/
Not yet , will do it when I am sitting more comfortable with my laptop. Thank you for your answer. I am new here but saw today a YouTuber explaining how he get monthly around 500 $ on around 4 ILV staking video made in end of September ..However I was just wondering how he gets 0.02 on 2 ILV monthly ..in today’s price it is only around 24$ .. corresponding 1% value of 2 ILV ..it is 1% yielding.. something is not right there ..
Returns are effected by a bunch of factors that are unknowns (future token value, revdis, etc); so any predications are speculations at best
The Gwei hunter 👀
Could be staked in SLP core pool
Wooo just staked Eth/Ilv for 12 months
time to throw another 10k in slp. the price dropped too much
I was not factoring in some decimal but the max could be 0.07- 0.08 ILV per month for the core pool... I would ask recommend to use the calculator as my estimates were really rough.
Bro craziest thing about this 100% of revenue from the game goes to stakers.
Hi @manic spindle, sorry for old message. But can you answer me this question please ? I'm wondering where's the $45m came from. I mean:
500.000 pre-seed token sold at $1
and 1.500.000 seed token sold at $3
=> The total of initial token sale is just 0.5m * $1 + 1.5m * $3 = $5m right ?
Is that $5m related with the $45m that you said ?
It’s gonna be from the BLBP. The public sale
The launchpad sale ? 👀
Yes.
Got it ! Thank you so much sir
Around 640k ILV sold at an average of under $70
sad i missed it .... 1 ,3, 5 even 70 i got mine at $800 somewhere around there
Is there a comprehensive guide for this?
Hi all, hoping someone can help who has done this. I am going to stake some newly bought tokens, but I need to claim my rewards from staking first. I want to know if there will be 4 transactions (2x claim and stake for normal and slp) but do I have to do another transaction to stake the new ones or will that go alongside my claimed and restaked tokens? Ty all
As you stake your new tokens it will make you claim. So only 2 claims if you're in the SLP and ILV pools
Just make sure to Stake first. It will come up with a pop-up to claim. If you claim and then stake...yes you will have 4 transactions
Is staking 2.0 planned before or after the land sale?
when is the land sale?
if im staked in both pools, can i claim rewards from SLP pool without having to claim from ILV pool?
Was estimated to be end of this month but not sure
Can you claim rewards using layer 2 services like matic to stay away from ETH gas fee??
I've recently started having issues connecting my trust wallet through DApps to illuviums site. Is there a way I can assign my metamask wallet to my staked tokens instead? If not do we know if that will be an option in V2?
Legend cheers mate
When will staking fees be cheaper on version 2
I've personally been mining ETH on the side specifically for gas fees now. There's no way around it currently with claiming staking rewards.
Hello I have 2 questions.
#1 if I have some ILV on my pending rewards from Sushi LP, do they automatically go to staking pool without me doing nothing or I have to claim the rewards from time to time and Stake them to compound the interests?
#2 I claimed some rewards and now they are on vesting period. Apparently they were added to my Regular ILV staking pool while they are on the vesting period. So I got staking rewards while I wait. Is this correct?
#1 you have to claim your rewards to earn compounding rewards off them. This requires gas.
Nope. Hopefully staking 2.0 will improve the costs a lot
When will staking 2 start
#2 after claiming you rewards they vest in the ILV core pool for 52 weeks (1 year). You earn revenue distributions and yield rewards during this time (rev dis will begin later with land sale and when the game launches)
Hasnt been confirmed but i think within a month or 2 is the estimate
Got it. Thank you @copper dawn. This is going to be some exciting 52 weeks. Lets go!
if you're curious about the analytics behind the staking pool contracts you can view some data here: https://dune.xyz/xastor/Illuvium-Dash
Can u stake through arbitrum to save gas fees
No you can't L2 is a possible discussion in the future, but currently no L2. However staking v2 will be coming out soon which will help a lot with the gas fees currently in v1.
guys. only could build up to 1 ILV. how would u recommend staking it
it'll cost you $100+ to stake through Sushi SLP, so you might be better off just staking in the Core ILV pool
it depends on how long you want to stake for and your goals. Gas is a huge factor. SLP has double the gas fees. ILV core pool will cost you around 100 USD roughly to stake
damn these gas fees. guess il have to do core ilv. lol i wonder how lonf it would take to make that 1 ILV token into 2
you gonna lock it in?
if you lock it for 52 weeks I would safely assume 2 years. the yield rewards APY is variable and so it'll lower with time.
but when rev dis being you'll receive those. I would go in with a lower assumption.
ok cool. if i stake in core can i move that to slp if i manage to get some eth or once its staked it has to vest for the 1 year?
once you stake it and lock it for a time period like 52 weeks you cannot touch it until it vests. If you plan on gathering more ETH I would wait to stake more tokens in SLP
If you think you'll have more in 2-4 weeks and you want to stake in the SLP core pool I would wait and budget for the gas fees. If you're amount staked is relatively low like under 3k to 5k I would consider the ILV core pool. but it's up to you and the current gas fees.
Hey guys whats the best way to claim rewards without imposing 2 gas transactions? or is it unavoidable?
If you're stakedin both pools you claim the SLP one so it triggers the ilv pool as well. It's two transactions in one.
i think last time i did that it still triggered 2 transactions
so is the gas fees the main reason you wouldnt stake in the slp pool at the low amount.
Yup it's still 2 but you don't have to click claim twice is what I meant.
you gotta click ILV or sILV
Already.. Paid gas fee as well
well if you paid gas before this point you were doing something else.
or are you just waiting for the transaction to clear?
Naa clciked ILV.. then clicked stake.. Paid gas fee.. Nothing happens for 20mins
Your wallet should have given you a TX hash. you can put that into etherscan to see the status of the transaction.
well im not 100% sure but it looks to me like the pending transaction with sushiswap is probably whats causing you problems.
So wait for that trx to go through and try again?
Yeah definitely a previous tx is pending.
How much eth do I need to add more SLP? Wanna make sure have enough eth.. I recall have to paid 2 times
If you can get metamask to drop the other transactions you just tried to make before sending it to the blockchain you might be better off trying again.
How to do this?
Gas likely to get lower 5-7 hours from now?

Paid gas fee for cancelling trx?
I would not do it that way.
It’s easy but expensive
So just wait ya
This sir?
You’ll want to check this spreadsheet…
Already dropped.. So try again now?
This one
Hey guys new to the channel.
Is there a general rule of thumb for what % gas fee's are going to take out of ILV profit before you withdrawn rewards to restake?
But block still pending.. confused
It sounded like you had started some transactions that hadn’t gotten off metamask yet.
It's pretty much personal preference, but you can use the pinned calculators to figure out the math of when you might want to claim rewards.
Some people think gas costing about 1-2% of their rewards is right, some think 5-10% is right. Definitely play with the calculators to figure out what's right for you.
There are a few. Fees could cost 1%-10% of value of your ILV that you are claiming.
Beautiful! Thanks for pointing the calculator out.
Thankyou!
Looks like you have 3 transactions stuck inside metamask that have not hit a main node yet. Unfortunately I dont use Metamask so I cant tell you how to fix it.
Looks like a number of things there
Tried 3 times stacking.. thats those 3 stuff on metamask
Definitely don’t do another until those are cleared
So wait for it to show on ethscan? Or rejectes on metamask?
It will show on ethscan if the shows on the transaction on your wallet
Just wait I’d say. Eventually you could look at method 3 on this page if you really had to. https://metamask.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015489251-How-to-speed-up-or-cancel-a-pending-transaction
Thank u guyss
When you claim staking rewards, can you only select to receive either ILV or sILV, not both?
Only one
But you get the choice each time that you claim.
Ok, thanks. Also, for withdrawing my stake, do I have to claim my rewards first in a separate transaction, or will withdrawing automatically claim my reward?
So claim. Or choose one and claim in a month and choose one (same or different doesn’t matter)
Start to withdraw and it will create a claiming transaction as well. Just don’t claim from rewards tab if you want to withdraw. (2 tx when withdrawing first will be the claim second will be withdraw)
This will change in v2 staking experience
So currently, if I want to withdraw, I will have to pay gas twice, once for claiming rewards and once for withdrawing?
Correct.
Ok, I understand, thank you!
When doing these two transactions it’s best to set them to the exact same gwei. So they process on the same block or close to it.
hello, my first lp stake is about to expire, what will happen? will it just stay at same rate of multiplier if i do nothing and leave it?
if i want to claim it i just claim and unstake it? thanks
It will stay at the same multiplier and will keep earning
If you want to withdraw your stake don’t claim from the rewards tab. Withdraw from vesting tab. You will then need to approve two transactions one for claiming one for withdrawing.
ok thanks
What about the rewards then? Another transaction to transfer to wallet?
!claim
Rewards from staking have to be manually claimed and GAS fees for those transactions have to be paid:
- When you stake ILV yield farming rewards start piling up for you
- You claim those rewards whenever you deem the pile to be big enough to justify gas fees
- If you claim sILV you have it unlocked right away (sILV is only usable in game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena)
- If you claim ILV then that batch of ILV gets locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effect
- New rewards start piling up....rinse and repeat
NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.
been any decent gas prices today?
!fees for sure
Fast: 86 Standard: 79 Slow: 79
Simple ETH TX: $8.21 (0.0018 Ξ)
Token Approval (ERC20): $20.07 (0.0044 Ξ)
Token Transfer (ERC20): $18.7 (0.0041 Ξ)
Uniswap Trades: $46.98 - $78.45 (0.0103 Ξ - 0.0172 Ξ)
I saw it got into the 50s even.
wow really

a couple hours ago?
Yeah
just got back from work, mighht have missed my window
It’s hard to know. But 70s are pretty good for this week
yeah seems that way
Do the gas fees get higher depending on the amount of ILV I’m claiming/vesting? Would it be the same gas to claim 1 ILV vs 10 ILV?
It’s just about the same.
Though I’ve heard that if you are claiming like 100s of ILV the cost of tx can go up. Or something like that that the whales are suffering through
Not sure about today, but I claimed at 60 yesterday morning (7am uk) not seen it get below 100 all week, so you can imagine my excitement 🤣
I think there is a bug in the website, I connected my wallet in the ‘wallet Connect’ option, I scanned the QR code and then I disconnected. When I reconnected the wallet with the same option, It just connected automatically, without any QR code. So how can I connect my other wallets? Does anyone can help me?
nice work mate, think thats a pretty decent price right now
Maybe something wrong with safari browser, I solved the problem with google chrome.
metamask and staking only works on google chrome as an extension, wont ever work on safari -__-
works on Firefox for me as well
HELP! Any Ideas why I only have one staking reward but two deposit looking on the Vesting tab under staking? And I have no funds available to deposit for staking.
Sounds like you staked twice and on the second stake you were forced to claim the rewards accumulated on your first stake
ok so what that dose that mean, I can see that I have both of the deposit vested and it will not lock up intill 287 days, but im not earning reward on one of them... And thanks for answering 🙂
Deposit means the source came from staking while reward means it was claimed and now vested for 365 days. If you're not earning maybe the amount is a bit low and you need a few days to see it tick. Are you staked in ILV core pool?
I wanted to claim my SLP rewards but it claimed my ILV rewards (from last SLP reward claim) before i was able to claim SLP rewards. Is that normal? I paid gas twice now and the ILV rewards were very little and not really worth claiming.
One way to double check your gains is to try and claim (but not push through) to see the total ilv you can claim then do that after a few hours again to see if there was an increase.
Yes. It needs to clear the whole ilv rewards pool from both cores. That's how they intended it
That's terrible 😅 Right now i claim every 3 ILV accumulated. So i will always have to pay gas twice then 😫
We'll try to factor your average gas fees then adjust your claim value accordingly until it makes sense to claim
Is there a technical reason behind this? It does not really make sense that both have to be claimed at the same time. I paid more gas than the claimed reward for one of the transactions 😆
I'm very confused about this
There is a reason. The ILV you claim from SLP goes to the ILV pool and the pool has to be flushed to be able to deposit the rewards
Alright. I am using the "ILV claim and value calculator" and this also only counts for 1x gas fee per claim every 3 ILV. So i would have to double the that amount for it to be correct 👀
I was looking at this calculator and thought claiming every 3 ILV accumulated should be good but maybe now i need to reevaluate.
it's better to time your claims with low gas rather than certain ilv amount (for example sundays have lower gas, so claim next sunday after reaching certain treshold)
Guuuuys urgent question please. I have buy my SLP and now i'm on illuvium website. I have already 7ilv to claim. I need to make the staking process and they will ask me for claim rewards ???
The reward pool has to be empty in order to stake more. It should do it in the same transaction so don't claim and then stake
Yeah sure this happens no matter what. But still claiming every 3 ILV is way better than claiming every 1 ILV or waiting too long to claim.
But this calculator is showing wrong assumptions then (only 1x gas for every claim)..unless i'm missing something
Claiming more often doesnt really help that much. You would probably be fine claiming monthly
Please guys, to restake SLP, i need to claim before the rewards, i process the staking and at the end of processus i pay for claiming and that's ok ?
Sorry for my english..
- i claim rewards then i make staking? OR
- I make staking and the system ask me to claim before stake ?
I make staking and the system ask me to claim before stake
coool thank's!!
Does anyone have that link handy that says how much ilv has been staked in each pool and at what Weight etc
Precisely thankyou
It's pinned here, pretty long way down the line but it's there :D
We should repin it so it's near the top if possible
That value for SLP there. Does that represent just the ILV? or is it included the ETH value
Newbie here, so probably a dumb question but; I have not yet put money into this project but i want to be part of it and invest in the slp pool. How much would i need to invest for it to be worth it with the current gas fee?
Gas only matters in terms of how often you claim. At 400% apy. I'd say about double what gas might cost to stake is fine. But you won't be able to outclaim gas monthly on that
Hello. When is v2.0 staking?
Will be soon not announced yet.
Does anyone know, if I want to cancel my pending ILV claim transactions (ILV and ILV/ETH process rewards), for method 3 do I need to use a different ETH address to send a transaction to myself? https://metamask.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015489251-How-to-speed-up-or-cancel-a-pending-transaction
Edit: No, because you set the transaction Nonce to the oldest waiting transaction first 🙂 (i.e. if transaction 20 and 21 are pending, cancel 20 first, then 21).
Does anyone have step by step directions on how to stake SLP
!lp of course 🙂
Y’all are fucking legends
Do the SLP tokens replace your Eth and ILV ?
No. SLP = ETH + ILV staked in Sushi LP 🙂 It's literally a key that you lock in ILV website
Ok got it. So if I unstake them, my SLP disappears but I can reclaim my initial staked eth and ilv?
when you unstake (withdraw) SLP from ILV website, you can give it back to Sushi and get back whatever ETH/ILV is left from your initial investment
Important to reiterate the “whatever ETH/ILV is left” part of what Arash said above. Just be sure you understand Impermanent Loss and the risk of SLP staking because of it.
The balance you initially stake will likely not be what you withdraw in the end
The total value locked for the ILV pool is 1 billion dollars. This doesn't include the rewards claimed right?
how do you estimate what that impermanent loss might look like?
https://upoint.info/calculator/checknow
You can check in pins as well. Lots of helpful things there.
Impermanent Loss Calculator
@cunning perch do the total value staked numbers on the illuvium dashboard include the claimed ILV amount?? I think logically it does but im looking for confirmation
Yup, It does include claimed ILV rewards as well 🙂 The claimed ILV rewards are locked in the ILV Core Pool for 12 months
Sorry I was in other channels. Thx @final steppe 🙂
Yeah i know they are locked. Was just wondering if this stat is reflecting this on screen
As you guys can tell im trying to be comprehensive. I am putting together a document that will tell you exactly how much revdis you will receieve for any given token. It's almost updated
sure. any docs can be helpful as we have a helpful community. As for RevDis we'll have to see how much ETH is being spent. It's pretty speculative
At this point I was just going to subtract the total sILV from the total cost. Obviously a lot of the usd values are speculative but this is a resource for myself and in the future the community that will hopefully be easy to adjust as we move forward
What will be fascinating is through reverse engineering. When we have statistics for how much the land costed and how much revdis we received ill be able to reverse engineer the near exact amount of sILV burnt. But it'll be onchain so im sure it'll be somewhere anyways
I just saw this responses
we'll see how it goes. we know that sILV will be massively used in this land sale, but i believe bigger buys will still be done using ETH. But we gotta wait to see what happens. Though any document that's accurate also helps
Yeah I rushed it beforehand and it was wildly inaccurate so im making sure I don't make the same mistake twice
No worries. Hope it works out for you. We're gonna make this one hell of a community. Super helpful to all members
guys i have a problem. I was about to claim my first ilvs today but the gas was set to low. I canceld the transaction with a self send transaction wich worked in the first place but now says there is still a transaction pending wich is dropped on etherscan. can someone help me?
So, you are using MM?
yep
in the activity section of your wallet, is it still pending? and when you go to ETHscan it says it is dropped?
anyone knows why tx is not found? this is for claiming my rewards 😦
try closing the tab and re-opening it. sometimes there is a delay
Ah...send it in #🚨❗〕report-scammers 😄
I mean come on haha. He's yelling SCAM from a mile away.
i got it too
So when claiming both pools there is 2 tx. I noticed that when I press to claim the first pool and cancel the claim it says (cancelled the 1.5ilv claim), but when I press to claim the slp pool and cancel, it says (canceled to claim a 6.5 ilv claim) So my question is, the first transaction on the sushi claim is it for the sushi pool or the ilv pool? What If i just claim the first transaction and cancel the second? Do both get canceled and I loose the gas for the first one? Has anybody tried this out
Good morning everyone. I just had my first staked Sushi LP unlock. If I do not do anything, does it continue to be staked at the same percentage that I started at?
The first claim is ILV pool and I believe you might be able to do that (like claim the first and cancel the second) but wouldn't advise it. FOr now I suggest dealing with it normally until V2 is out and save you of all the gasses you pay
how does v2 deal with gas? unfortunately i got some bug i cant download the file
hey. Nice job. No. The APY drops as well as Reward distribution over time
Well, you'll see. It's being worked on. The old version would change a lot. Just be patient a bit more and all will be revealed
So basically I would need to withdraw and lock it again for the higher rewards?
ooh so you know, but cant reveal?
No. When you stake, depending on the locking period, you get a weight. You cannot touch it while it's locked. I suggest reading the following docs
No not really. We are waiting for the revised version to be released, so we can read and then gets approved by the council and then implemented.
how is it now? mine's still the same
first transaction(ilv pool) was successful. second lead to this
Thanks for taking the time to explain. I do understand the process the BOT explained. I am wondering what APY return I am getting now on the unlocked stake. Does it default to the flexible APY at this time?
sry, meant i got a message like that from that guy too
Well APY drops for all pools. now that you are staked and unlocked, you will still get the current APY and it keeps on changing as time passes
At the weight of 1.00, correct?
Flexible yes. It has a weight of 1X. so you get fewer rewards
Awesome. I appreciate your time. Gas prices have been so high that I would need to sell my house to withdraw anyway. 😆
NO worries. I'm already sleeping on a bench in a park 🙂
We will be partying on a yacht celebrating ILV gains in the not too distant future.
help pls
Someone linked to this video yesterday https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6YugU4zZr4&t=1s
Basically, im tryna do all that, but crypto com wont let me transfer eth to my metamask wallet...
Anyone got experience with crypto com?
Damn. Just researched what permeant loss is. So basically if ILV price go up a lot (what I think that will heppen) and eth will stay relative the same I will loose money?
@potent flare I've heard you use Crypto.com. Any insights? I don't use it or I would have helped.
all you have to do is copy the eth address in MM and send it to that address, never had issues
you will lose ILV to ETH. Meaning the pool will sell your ILV and buys ETH to keep the balance. Other way might also happen (very unlikely due to ETH's huge MC). Both tokens can crash too in which case ppl will buy both your tokens for cheap
Lovely. Well now I'm kinda scared about the whole staking thing🤧
ILV pool is safer but you get fewer rewards. 🙂 There's always a risk. That's why you have to decide what's good for you
In crypto.com you go-> Transfer -> Withdraw -> Crypto -> External wallet -> Add the etherium address of your metamask here, and then withdraw, the fee is about 20ish $
When i try this error comes up "Error: Invalid Wallet Address"
And i just scanned the qr code from the wallet
try adding it manually perhaps
and also make sure you do select the erc20 network
google says you first have to whitelist the address, so maybe adding it manually is the play here
Just finished typing in that long *ss code manually... It actually worked, thank you😆
hi mega noob to crypto and staking and ilv - if I want to stake ilv/eth via sushi am I right in thinking I need to pay a gas fee to approve the ilv/eth liquidity on sushi to get SLP (~$25 right now), then pay a gas fee to stake in the sushi LP on illuvium website ($?) and then also pay a gas fee to claim rewards in both ILV ($?) and SLP ($?)?
yep, a lot of gas with slp
In The ILV pool, when does a permeant loss accure? Because you don't have other coin to compare it to🧐
there is no impermanent loss in ilv pool
And there are still rev distribution s? So basically, If so then assuming ILV price will go up, then the eth/ILV is a good option only if I think that the extra rewards of this pool would be greater then the perm loss that will probably occur, correct?
its not letting me click connect wallet on the illuvium site
the slp pool rewards far outweigh any impermanent loss, if locked for a year, and in the slp pool you get the revdis for the ILV part
make sure you are using the latest version of your wallet/browser. and if on phone, use Wallet Connect
how do i update chrome XD
There should be an update button somewhere in the settings 😄
thank you. And are those one off payments and then 1yr from now I'll expect 420% of my initial investment + claiming rewards (not sure how much this is) + however much both ILV and ETH have appreciated?
just checked it
the apy changes every 2 weeks by 3% as well as the more people stake the less is the apy
thank you🙏
ah okay. Still sounds pretty good. This is all crazy to me as I'm used to 10-20% annual investment returns!
Literally not letting me add my wallet still
yeah, all hail crypto
When i claim ILV from my ILV/ETH vault, why do i need to claim ILV vault too ? It makes 2 transactions without these awful fees..
yes it's always a 2 TX, cuz it cannot flush the ILV pool. V2 will fix this very shortly
how much is it roughly right now for each of these transactions?
should be around $200 if not more
Someone please tell me why the "+Connect Wallet" button is not working
ok thanks. and now is relatively low gas time
I just checked MM on Chrome on PC. It works just fine. The issue is from your side.
yes 🙂
I know it's on my side... but do you know what it could be
The only things that ppl have had problems with have been updates/browser issue (chaning it fixed it)/cache/phone browsers and wallet updates. Maybe you have to fix one and it'll do it
@cunning perch I finally capitulated on waiting for my claims to go through 😅
I was considering speeding the transactions up, but was worried it would probably not claim for the full amount that's built up...
So cancled them with 0 ETH custom Nonce transactions and pushed them through at ~65gwei... My dreams of 35gwei have been crushed

It's probably not this, but I have trouble using Metamask with Ledger Live Bridge this morning, I had to disable my VPN.
So you could try turning off your VPN, if you have one active.
well I'm glad it finally worked out 😄 it took way too long haha
Will have to adapt my weekend gwei estimations going forward it seems 😆
Hello when is staking v2.0?
Hi guys, what is the cheapest way to get SLP coins? I have funds on binance atm and i see two option, im not sure if its cheaper to sent ILV coin and ETH -> add liquidity, or to sent ETH-> trade to ilv:eth 1:1 ration -> add liquidity
Hey. It'll be soon before/by land sale
I see. Thank you. Will we be allowed to move our staked ILVs to different eth address?
The only way to get SLP is to send both tokens to MM (your wallet) add to LP, get SLP, approve it on ILV website and then stake it. No other way around it 🙂
there might be a possibility. Still needs to be confirmed by the revised proposal
Lol it sounds too good to be true, but it ain’t
@cunning perch I get that, but the question is. is it cheaper to trade eth for ilv, or widraw ilv from binance?
def buying from Binance is cheaper than swapping Eth for ILV on Sushi
Thanks buddy
Where to get info for land sale ?
!land in #🎮〕illuvium-zero and 👇
There is no set date for the first land sale. The land sale will be announced in📣│announcements when the date has been confirmed. Illuvium: Zero is a mobile mini-game that will interact with the main game. Illuvium: Zero will be a base building game which will be staged on a piece of land. Paid land will produce Fuel ERC20 tokens and Blueprints which can interact with the main game. There will be 100k plots of paid land in total, and the first land sale will offer 20k of these plots for sale in a dutch auction format. All in-game development on land will be wiped when Illuvium launches. For more information, visit #illuvium-zero .

ok guys, question. what's the minimum amount of $$ that I can put in to staking that offsets the gas fees for buying both ILV and SLP?
Don’t know. Because it depends on the future price of ILV and ETH.
Use this document to make so calculations.
And the other documents pinned in here
Hi @summer heath
Hi, so you had a question about staking?
Yeah and also just now have I seen the price of ilv it’s 1200 bucks so high
I am pretty much impressed with the art work on the game, so this would be right time to enter the game?
there are 2 ways to stake on the website. you can stake ILV or ILV Liquidity pool. when staking ILV you can choos no lock up which is 0 weight and it will display your yield. If you choose to lock it up for a year or anything in between than the (weight) will change which gives you a higher APY however you are locked in for that time.
Price is decieveing. try not to get market cap bias. the market cap is floating in the 140s-160s on coin gecko so under a billion. meaning its very low. low token supply leads to the higher price of coin. but in acctuality its not high compared to where it would be if it reached the market cap of axie
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuTQau_zXjlEV2niELD1mn0lfYlXOkoCr this playlist has some good info. And several great content creators that have more videos as well are included.
Yep understood but 1200 bucks is a bit high for me let me see what I can do by the way thanks for explaining the staking stuff appreciate it
Absolutely. just remember you can buy portions. i never baught a bitcoin all at once... but was able to pick away at it until i had it
Yeah may be buying part of ilv is good option for me, so do you where can I buy ilv don’t want use uniswap hate the gas fees
also... Im not sure the validity here.... but i did see one of the other members found out that the average person holds approx 4 ILV. so if this is correct than even 1 is a good goal
Kucoin / binance
Oh ok thanks
Does anyone knows how many Gas fee will be take per every reward claim on ETH??
does gas fee only matter when you stake initially?
I claimed rewards a while ago, but the second transaction failed (claim rewards from slp). 😦 if I try to claim again, will i spend another gas fee to claim the very little amount from the ilv pool?
Yes. SLP is always 2 transactions. If 1 fails, you go again from the start.
To stake and then claim rewards. It's best to let the rewards build up to a point when it's worth the gas. If you're only staking 1 ILV, that would prob only be like 1-2 times a year.
okay thx
Plus hopefully we see ETH 2.0 by EOY 2022 and it will have sharding or something to offset some gas
fingers crossed
2021?
No, 2022.
oh.. I thought ETH 2.0 is close?
The first stage of the update happened but we are far from the finish line. Sharding is what will help with gas fees and hopefully we see it by the end of next year.
Hey, the same happened to me yesterday. My ILV claim went fine but the SLP is now droped but I can see it as pending in my MM. Were you able to solve this?
I hope soin.. such fees for some ILV fraction.. too expensive
It solved itself and dropped the tx, just needed 2h more
I have been waiting for 14 hs... and it doesn´t let me cancel it
are there cheaper ways to stake ILV? so expensiive to send it to eth wallet and stake at website...
Staking through the main site on the Eth mainnet is the only way.
the gas fee is insane
!revdis
The tokenomics of this DAO include a 100% revenue distribution (could be subject to change - DAO governance). This means that any kind of revenue generated through sales or in-game revenue is distributed back to holders of staked ILV. The same max supply of 10 Million ILV will be used for this purpose regardless of how many games the DAO develops.
Revenue distribution is paid out in the form of unlocked ILV and the payout is done multiple times a week without a fixed schedule. Before paying out revenue distribution, the vault converts ETH spent in-game into ILV by buying it off the market which puts buying pressure on the ILV token and thus supports its price development.
this happened to me several times. what i always did was going directly to the ILV/ETH contact in Etherscan and execute process rewards method there.
Hello, I would like to ask about stakig. pool link why not give reward. Can I withdraw?
I can't see Apy . I rarely follow the news. Who can help me?
Please teach me how to do this.
I'm also interested :)
hey please beware that someone pretended to be me and DMed you. It's scammer. You can dm me instead. He almost got Jim!
its true. he changed his name and picture same with @proud moth
i changed my name now...
How can i stake my ILV that i purchased from binance? do i have to transfer my ILV to metamask ERC 20 address?
hey....new to crypto, new to discord, and i'm fucking at least one of these things up. ... i tried to withdraw/stake rewards recently, but the metamask transaction just seemed to hang for like 24 hours without dropping...so i tried to cancel it and now it appears that i'll be charged the same gas fee just to have nothing happen. is there a way around this, and can i undo what's already been done without incurring gas fees? (the cancelation is already cued at an improbably low gas max). thanks
yes. this helped me get started and was very easy to follow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6YugU4zZr4&t=676s
you can make the transaction again but you have to put the "nonce" number to the same as the hanging tx and put a higher gas fee than both the hang tx and the cancellation tx. this will replace the original tx.
excellent. thank you very much, i will give this a try
Wow 👀
In 24 months 😅
if it says 40% on staking for 12 months, if more people start staking can that rate drop to like 5-10% for me? So I'm stuck for 5 months with that rate for example
NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.
not sure if that was directed towards my question but it doesnt answer it 😛
yes. that's exactly what can happen 🙂
please next time use #👑〕bot-commands
apologies. will do next time.
isnt it really risk to stake then?
like, if the coin gets more attention within a month a lot of people are going to start staking and I'll be locked with a rate I'd rather not be locked up with for 11 months 😛
no. not really. 40% is still way more than lots of tokens. And you are getting rewards + future RevDIs based on your token weight which in fact will drop your avg
where can i read about v2? ive seen it time to time but now idea what it is.
V2 is pinned in #809220563397902346 but in a few days new revised version will be out with lots of changed parts. I suggest patience a bit 🙂
agree that 40% is really good but what if a sudden increase in attention makes more people stake within a couple weeks after staking
well that can happen to either pool, but still, It should be tremendous implusive stakes that would drop APY to 4% 🙂
for example, a lot of people started staking for 80% a couple of months ago right?
Now they are getting half of what they signed up for initially right?
im currently locked 2.0 on core ILV would this matter to me? when released by i get unlocked.
The Link flash pool is over afaik
V2 implementation will have some changed parts but for the best not worst. We'll have to wait and read the full approved proposal
well, "a couple of months ago" 🙂 and if you stake and have a good weight the future RevDis will benefit you than the ones joining after it. You have to take into account that RevDis will for sure out-weigh YF.
okay so weight goes down the more liquidity gets staked?
YF = sILV or ILV we got. what is RevDis? NFTs?
The APY goes down as more people get staked in the core pool, not your token weight
weight is given to your for the duration of your stake. 1 year = 2X weight
ik I mean for future stakers, or do they also get 2x
anyone locking for a year will get 2X
all in all, would now be a good time to start staking?
gas is reasonable. Might not be tomorrow. Might even be lower (unlikely though unless a miricle happens) lol.
If your options are now, later, and never, then now is the best choice. The only caveat is gas.
yeah it seems that I wont be able to get anything better than 98 gwei, been looking all day.
And I only plan on getting 1 coin so I'll be paying quite a bit in gas lol
claimed rewards gets autostaked right? But does it unlock same as my original staked ILV?
unlocks 1 year after stake
You claim, it gets locked for a year. each claim will have a one-year lock seperate from other claimes/stakes
can you stake 1.5 or only whole tokens?
you can stake whatever you want but don't use lots of decimals.
okay cool thx
so if you claim at the end of the 12 month period you basically have to wait 2 years?
The moment you claim, it will get locked for 1 year while compounding to your stake with a weight of 2X generating more rewards
damn my brain couldn't comprehend that
!claim can maybe explain it better 🙂
Rewards from staking have to be manually claimed and GAS fees for those transactions have to be paid:
- When you stake ILV yield farming rewards start piling up for you
- You claim those rewards whenever you deem the pile to be big enough to justify gas fees

NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.
I just explained it in short 🙂
ex: i bought 1 ILV from binance and widraw to my metamask. Then i have 1 ILV claimable reward. to stake both these ILV is it two transactioins? or when i claim ilv reward, my ILV in wallet gets staked aswell? i wanna save gas. 🙂
ok when you have your ILV in MM, if you wanna stake, you do this:
You can find an in-depth video for staking here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6YugU4zZr4&t=1s
would you be able to make an example? like if I stake 1 token, and the reward is 1 token after 12 months. When I claim it it will contiue to stake for another 12 months?
last question. is there RevDis for Core ILV or just Sushi LP?
You should claim occasionally. (V2 might change the duratuion or the way of claiming) but until then, you will have to claim whenever you are comfortable and whenever claiming justifies gas. I wouldn't wanna wait for one year to claim and wait another year to withdraw and claim the yearly rewards again deposited there
For both ILV pool and SLP. in SLP only ILV part receives it though
I see thank you

this is just the approval fee. Staking fee comes next
yeah ik, I got so lucky buying illuvium at 75 gas a couple min ago but now its back to skyrocketing
funny story: so, (again, new to this) i made a new transaction without customizing the nonce (stupidly thinking i would be prompted to input that before finalizing) thus creating two new tx. i ultimately was able to replace the first tx i had inquired about, but was not able to alter the others i had created before they completed (almost immediately following the first).....so, i ended up paying the equivalent of ~180 USD in eth to stake ~240 USD in ilv on that first transaction (because of course i was also paying gas on the subsequent tx to stake 0 ILV). PSA: learn from my mistakes fellow noobs. 🙄 ... there will be many more to come in the future
Can someone please let me know where SILV can be purchased? Don’t see it on uniswap/sushiswap
Yes of cos I can
There is an unofficial pool on uniswap. You have to take the sILV token address from the pins and use that to find the pool.
Dang a 50% haircut
Guys, I have a question for staking, so if I stake my ilv i need to provide half ethereum and half ilv, so while unstaking will I get my eth back along with ilv and rewards ?
You will get some amount of ILV and some amount of ETH unless one of them goes to 0, then you get nothing. The amount you get back depends on the prices of both tokens and any transaction fees that may have accrued during that time.
That is kinda the gist of it, but there are several underlying factors that go alongside it such as impermanent loss. I'd recommend you google some youtube videos on how Liquidity pools work before you do any LP staking
Now I am confused which one do I choose to stake regular ilv pool or SLP ?
That is your choice, and again, I recommend you do some research into both
Ok thanks
how to stake ilv?

No worries. To stake you need to have them in your wallet (MM, TW...)

trying to transfer them but i can't import the token on my MM mainnet
It's an ERC-20 token and on ETH mainnet
You can check on coin gecko to get the contract address

Can you explain what SLP is and what we can do with it?
!lp sure. You can read here
Providing liquidity for ILV is done via an ILV/ETH Pool on SushiSwap and requires a few different steps compared to staking only ILV.
If you never provided LP before though, make sure to understand IL: https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/impermanent-loss-explained
what stake/not stake ratio are you guys going with?
I didnt know you could claim sILV from the ILV pool interesting
All in baby. Locked to the max
dang you're really cuffed
I want to buy and stake ILV but i dont know if the gas fee is too high? I see some people talkin bout wait til v2.. Does anyone know a good place to get a clear overview of Gwei prices?
may I ask how big % of your investment portfolio is in illuvium?
100% of my holdings locked for a year.
damn you guys going hard 😄
Well it started at like 70% now it’s like 98%.
Stake everything, why have ILV that isn't?
sheesh, at what price did you get in at first?
I was here before the balancer sale and bought then and then bought more when it was under $40 during may/June
well, perhaps future you holds the answer to that
You can even stake flexible if you are scared
damn! I didn't know you were an astronaut
This discord has taught me all I needed to know about defi and I found the rest for myself. This is my first year in crypto.
defi?
There is no way my future self would forgive my present self if I just had some ILV sitting around for the next year.
Why a 50/50 in Eth and Ilv?
lol I'm with you mate
are you guys only doing ILV or also the eth/ILV staking?
Eth/ILv for me. I don't think IL will overcome the APY advantage of SLP compared to ILV pool. Although it's possible I suppose. Nfa
Yah I'm a small fry though. I could imagine others doing 50/50 or 75/25 in favor of SLP
I was told it's not worth doing SLP if you have less than $3k with current gas prices so I didn't really look that deep into it

There are many terms and acronyms in crypto that can be confusing at first. DAO, DYOR, HODL, ATH, KYC, DCA, DEX. To make this easy, you will find what the terms and acronyms mean using this site: https://coinmarketcap.com/alexandria/glossary Either search through manually or use the Ctrl+F search function to find the meaning.
Defi is decentralized finance.
I see
What are we looking at here, wallet?
Did you already get SLP tokens? Because of you did that could be where your eth is.
I got ILV
that only comes up when I press "stake"
Do you have eth in your wallet? You need it to pay for the transaction fees. They are not cheap at the moment.
!fees

yeah I do, but it swaps wallet I think when I click stake
This document has more info on cost to stake
I think I confused the cost with my balance lol nvm
Pelican how about you? Do you also have 100% in eth/ILV
Ok. Try restarting the browser and clearing your cache.
I wish. I was new to staking and scared and Went mostly in the ILV only pool.
Especially because the gas costs when staking started were way low.
so I am you in the future, because now I am scared and planning on only doing ILV pool
If you plan on staking long term and have enough funds SLP is currently close to 5x the yield. But the fees are significant. It may end up being smarter to just buy more ILV and stake it instead of going 50:50
There is a calculator in pins where you could calculate the IL pelican would have experience between now and then if he had gone slp
Yeah.
Look on YouTube for videos by vetemor or deraji they go deep into why to choose one pool Over the other.
theres a calculator for ilv/eth?
ty watching a vetemor vid now
I suggest you spend some time going through everything in the pins on this channel
Someone also suggested this playlist earlier: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuTQau_zXjlEV2niELD1mn0lfYlXOkoCr
I found it pretty helpful
Nono, this means that the 0ETH is involved in the transactions, excluding gas fees.
It shows zero because this transaction spends 0 ETH for you.
Gas estimations are shown below.
If you were about to send 1ETH to someone, it would show 1ETH instead.
Got that?
U can stake in ilv pool and withdraw as sILV correct?
You can claim rewards as sILV, when your ILV unlocks it is still ILV.
and claimed sILV is immediate correct? not vested for 1 year
Yep sILV goes directly to your wallet so you don't have to wait compared to ILV.
But sILV is limited to in-game transactions that aren't between players
alright cool so il prolly claim it as silv once it releases
Remember that you can't stake sILV, so no compounding rewards unless you claim as ILV
yep, I have enough ILV and not much eth so I might claim some as sILV so I have some currency to play around with in game
Alright if I have rewards ready to claim in both pools will I have to pay two separate gas fees when I claim as ILV?
yes
Can I choose to only claim one?
I think you can choose to claim only ILV, but if you choose to claim SLP, it autoclaims both and you will have 2 transactions
You are correct @autumn cloak
Hey guys. I have been waiting several days for my staking to go through. I have approved my wallet and everything. The only thing I can think of that I’m doing wrong is I’m using my coinbase wallet. Why isn’t it going through? I’m paying the high gas fees too or about $230 in ether. Help!
Just wanted to ask should I claim my rewards every few days? I got 4.5 ILV but I haven’t claimed them cause of gas and those are locked away for another year right? Should I be claiming all the time or wait till I get a some of rewards to claim for gas
Is it possible to withdraw ILV without claiming the rewards?
You're right. Rewards claimed will be vested for a year. You should only claim when you feel it's worth the gas fee and that really depends on what you felt is right.
I don't think so. When you chose to withdraw your ILV it will also claim any rewards you currently have
So I assume this will be 2 txs right? Claim + withdraw?
I suppose so. I never done that so I don't really know much. You can wait for somebody with better knowledge to answer it for you
Hope so, thanks!

Youd want to claim when gas is low compared to the amount your claiming. Its good to claim ILV every so often to trigger the compound interest.
Is it better to convert to sILV and sell on Uni to take the funds and buy back into the SLP pool?
Looking at the %
Your claimed ILV also gets 2x weight and gets rewards too?
it does but 41% vs 428%
even selling it at a 50% discount to make 10x on the LP pool
Some complex math to sort it all out, buy back into a pool by selling at more than 50% and losing your current ILV, future revdis, 2x staked weight in ILV pool
Depends on how much sILV. You have to take the gas into account. If all you are starting with is the sILV you claim, you have to pay a fee to convert it to ETH, then pay a fee to convert some to ILV, then pay a fee to create the SLP on sushi, then pay a fee to stake. It can add up pretty fast
I have 24 sILV tokens right now just wondering about that
I just bought some sILV with ETH and claimed all my ILV.
I am just thinking long term of 12 months on it
Want about $8k in buying power for land sale.
If you have sILV right now, might want to sell when they announce land sale
If you can catch the gas at low gwei like 30-50 I think it could be a good idea. But lately I’m not so sure. You could be spending a ton on gas. Obviously up to you tho
I have a feeling sILV will be closer to 80% of ILV when they announce sale date
I was looking Sunday morning gas was at about 70 gwei... I am going to spreadsheet it out tomorrow and see
pump the SLP pool to pull in 2-3 tokens a day
By the way... I bought sILV with eth and cant see it in wallet and when I go to import the token its says "already added"
might have to remove and add it again
mine is in Metamask
I can’t see it on zapper either, but I can in my MM
Im using MM, how do I remove a coin to re add it?
Approximately 24 hours ago i claimed about 6 ILV from the SLP pool.
I manually set the gas to 60. It went through in 45 minutes for a total claim price of 100$ usd.
Just a reference.
Hmm, it doesnt get rejected? Thats the thing I hate most, getting rejected and still losing the gas fee
Rejection shouldn't happen on claims though right? Only swaps with timeouts.
Not that knowledgeable.
Not sure tbh. If that were the case, everyone would set their limit to 10 gwei and wait a week. But not sure it works that way
That makes sense. maybe the rejection is due to changing prices in pools.
Nobody would do that because 10 gwei is unrealistic and would never go through, but some people do just that with like 30-40 gwei
I guess that’s true. I’m still hesitant to mess with gas limits tho. Losing a gas fee is really expensive now
The only downside is you can't use your wallet for anything else until it goes through.
Yes. This is why it gets rejected. To prevent price slippage most DEXs have a timeout
I just looked at my meta mask on ethplorer.io and see my sILV there Whew but i also see 250,000 akswap.io I've never bought that before what the heck..?
Its a scam, reading about it on reddit now...
Nope nothing wrong. Gas is just really expensive lately
you can wait for gas fees to be a bit lower but yeah, thats the fee 😦
Dang, cause I thought i changed something on the settings on metamask for gas. whats the average cost or considered cheap nowadays?
Nothing is really cheap nowadays honestly. The lowest gwei I’ve seen in the last couple of weeks was in the 80’s; which still isn’t ideal.
if you can get away with 150$ i guess its very good
would need the gwei to be around 60
What do they here where they say “ if you’re unsure on any part of the process “?
It either works or it doesn’t. What there to be sure about?
v8.2
@clear cape updated the bellow table, for you, in the dashboard.
@delicate cloak Typo for "Sloth" corrected 😛
@cyan rampart Added the reward distribution to the unlock chart to see if that's what you were looking for (there is a small issue the name do not appear in the chart, strange)
v8.3
Impactful update. As I went back in time to get all the data until 30th June, the growth that I used to align reality and potential growth, worked well, but when looking at the last few days/weeks, it was too high. So to help having something more realistic, I'm calculating a 14 days moving average for both pools now, and use this as growth. You can still override it if you want to or don't like this logic. Big big impact (in a positive way compare to previous version, on your total ILV)
- Added a chart to show the pools growth
thats my boy 😍
Hey guys, any news for staking v2? I was wondering if staking now would be ok or should I just wait for v2.
Not yet but hopefully soon I would be looking out for #📣〕announcements when they do.
Hey guys! Quick question! In regards to claiming rewards. If I’m staked in ILV and SLP, if I claim rewards, will this be two transactions and two gas fees?
I’ve only added to my staking so this will be the first time I’m considering claiming rewards without adding to my stake!
Thanks for any help! 😁😁
claim SLP rewards and itll be a double transaction yup and 2 gas fees
dont ever claim ILV core pool rewards by itself
Alright cheers!
I’ll add some ETH to my wallet then! I want to stack as much ILV as I can and then claim it when V2 hits or land sale details come so I can maximise revdis I can get! 😁
Appreciate the info!
Quick question sir. So if I provide liquidity on Sushi.. and then stake the LP tokens in the Ilv Core pool, do I still get the daily sushi tokens + the perks of farming extra pools on Suhi platform other then Ilv core pool?
Or is the Sushi Reward off the charts when core-staking?
Hey guys. I have been waiting several days for my staking to go through. I have approved my wallet and everything. The only thing I can think of that I’m doing wrong is I’m using my coinbase wallet. Why isn’t it going through? I’m paying the high gas fees too or about $230 in ether. Help!
dm me
Let’s say I have 4ilv in reward. Can I claim 2 as ilv and 2 as silv?
No, When you claim a batch of rewards you can only select ILV or sILV. You could claim once when you have 2 rewards and claim later when you have 2 again and pick different rewards but you cant split it up within a claim.
Thank you
When claiming SLP rewards can you set a gas max limit and wait several days for it to go through?
you can, yes. but make sure you set both txns to the exact same gas so they go through at/near the same time.
Hey guys I need a hand. The numbers for the staking dashboard don't line up. On the dune website it says approximately 500k tokens are locked up in ilv pool. Half of which are at 1.0 weight. This is about half a billion$. But it says on the dashboard that 1.15 billion Is locked in the pool total. The number that doesn't line up is it says almost 1 billion$ has been claimed as ILV. Where am I going wrong here? I'd really appreciate if anyone could clear up the numbers because I'm clearly missing something.
In total if I just looked at dune cross ilv claimed thats 1.5b or close to. But the dashboard says ilv pool has 1.15 in it
I would look at both the contracts of ILV pool and ILV/ETH to show how many tokens overall it is
You can also see the amount of tokens that are distributed which are also locked
Im not looking at slp at all here. I'm trying to figure out how many in the ilv pool. And where the numbers don't match
I think dune only shows the circulating tokens that have been staked. The yield farm rewards are staked but also uncirculating so it treats them differently. All yield farm rewards are staked at 2.0 weight.
Yes exactly thats my understanding but the numbers should still line up
Dune says 500k tokens. Claimed says 900k but TVL on the dashboard says like 1.1m instead of 1.4m
The only thing I can think of is that claimed ILV keeps the dollar cost of any given token thats been claimed. But that doesn't make any sense does it? Is there a resource that has an accurate number for total number of tokens claimed??
Where does it say claimed?
741,000 ilv claimed from yield farm
500,00 ish circulating ILV staked
1,241,000 total staked
$1.57B staked in ILV pool.
Thats whay my math comes out to. Potentially an error on the website with displaying the pool TVL
@potent sable
Im essentially tryna hunt the error
OH, does dune differentiate between the pools? It seems hard to have 500k ILV staked in that pool when the circulating supply is only like 700k
There has to be a lot of ILV in sushi as well
Well technically any SLP staked is not actually ILV staked.
It’s not locked. It’s for sale.
I’ve seen some data that says there’s less than 200k ILV on the market. The rest is truly staked. (In ILV only pool)
Im just saying that with 634,776 circulating supply its impossible to have 500k circulating ILV staked in the ILV pool and 204k in the sushi pool. It sounds like an error with dune.
@potent sable
Gotcha
This chart by Lelahel seems to indicate that only about 80k of the circulating ILV has been staked in the ILV pool.
if we look at the single side pool on etherscan we can see the circulating tokens that are staked
741,000 ilv claimed from yield farm
289,000 ish circulating ILV staked
1,030,000 total ILV staked
$1.3B staked in ILV pool.
Ok this ^ seems more accurate since the 741,000 would also include unclaimed tokens that dont contribute to the TVL figure.
So the 500k ILV staked that dune is showing includes both the SLP and ILV contracts
Thanks jeff!
Hey guys my ilv has finished staking, I'm having trouble getting it back to my trust wallet, I choose to withdraw and claim ilv, then it opens trust wallet and a camera, what exactly do I scan with the camera? Sorry first time I've done this lol
Your ILV never needs to stop staking.
But if you want to withdraw it you should be able to. But it seems like there’s an issue with your wallet
Ok so I just restake again and it'll hold my rewards for the 12 months? Yeah I've got some more in my wallet was just going to stake it all together now
If your initial deposit is now unlocked you just leave it. It stays staked. But if you want to to lock it up for longer to increase your weight I think you’d need to withdraw and then stake again.
If you want to stake what you don’t have staked then just stake that. No need to unstake the initial deposit.
Okay so given I use this instead of dune. How do I see how many of these tokens are 2.0 staked?? From circulating. Not claimed
use the % from dune, and the total from etherscan
Oh okay okay I think I get it. So for some reason on dune. It's including the ilv half of the slp pool as well. Even though it's showing the SLP statistics next to it?
ah, my bad. i'm referring to this dune dashboard:
to stake in the SLP pool (the 220% APY flexible to be clear), I have to deposit ILV/ETH on sushi, then I obtain SLP tokens and then I stake those tokens on the illuvium webpage, right?
yup. keep in mind when you claim rewards, it costs double because u claim ILV rewards AND SLP rewards in seperate transactions
Maybe like 150 USD or so to claim at 70 gwei
so u might wanna claim every 2-3 weeks depending on your bag
Hey guys, right now i only have slp staked. If i stake ILV will i be forced to claim slp rewards?
I believe you are forced to. It sucks which is why they are bringing out V2 Staking. I hope a Mod can confirm for us.
Yeah, kinda f'cced myself over by not staking enough to begin with. I didn't realize gas fee was that bad
Yes
But thats correct what I said yeah?
i'm not familiar enough with the other dashboard tbh
Okay well with etherscan the numbers line up 20x better so im gonna go with that. As for staking 2.0 percentage I think dune will likely be accurate
Is it worth staking 1.5 ilv which is in metamask, average buy price is around 500, are the gas fees huge, whats your opinion
Staking results. At current prices, and current pool growth, at a weight of 2.
Pro - you will get revDis, reward can cover the gas fee if you stake for more than 6 months.
Con - you will not be able to use that 1.5 ILV for anything during the period you lock. Not worth it if you stake for less than 6 month in my opinion due to gas fee.
gas fee can be around $100 - $200 for staking and the same for withdraw.
personally, I would not stake yet and save up a little bit more whenever the prices are low enough.
If I have 10k to invest, should I go for ilv or slp pool?
when you claim ilv from the slp pool & u get some from the ilv pool also.
even tho u click the slp pool to claim it claims from the ilv pool & you have to claim twice. why is that?
That's pretty much your decision. either has its own benefits and cons
For now on V1, in order to claim SLP rewards you will have to claim ILV first (the procedure will force you to). V2 will fix this issue
all due respect but this is a pretty big issue, gas is a joke too
i didnt have enough for x2 gas & now since its been a day I have to claim twice again
I'm being greedy actually, i definitely i don't care about IL because i know i will be holding eth and ILV long term
All has been said from the beginning of staking that SLP claims are 2TX. But shortly V2 will be implemented and this issue will be fixed. For now, be careful not pay to much gas
I understand but still, cant they make it where you claim from the slp pool first instead of the ilv pool
in V2 all will be fixed 🙂
before/by Land Sale
thanks for ur help
May i ask a stupid question?
If I take the Sushi LP in weight of 0.8, how much the minimum ETH & ILV should I own to carry out the contract, and what condition will cause the total loss?
Last month i got roughly 37% of my investment back in ILV through the SLP pool. (3.7ILV per 10 ILV value i put in)
This month i estimate i will get about 88% of that. So a 12% decrease. this way I made a very rough gains formula for myself.
0.37×0.88^n
Then put that in a sum calculator and calculated my gains for the next year.
If you check the ILV pool gains you should expect roughly 5% ILV gains per month with a similar decrease... so a similar formula:
0.05*0.88^n
Now factor in the potential 50% of your investment gone through IL in the SLP pool and you should see that SLP is still the way to go. Right? :p
NFA and the growth factor might not be 100% accurate. So play around with that to see what the maximum could be for you to actually lose out. Say× 0.8^n and then check what the minimum APY should be for you to hop in (idk 30% per month?) So play around. I think 0.37×0.88^n was a rather accurate assumption. Could be 0.86 though.
Thanks for the info, i will try it out
I was waiting patiently for last one and half months to stake because i didn't have enough funds...finally i can do that.
Do note i staked at 2x weight so if you only stake flexibly then the 37% would not hold up!
yeah yeah, i know...i'm going to stake for one year only
Just making sure you are doing calculations with all the necessary information. I dont want to give you a skewed entry point!
I staked 1 ilv 2 months ago and now my rewards are stuck at 0.1 is that the maximum amount of reward that ill get for the staked ilv amount?
Thank you kind sir!
2month can reward 10%....what do you want
No you should check the Dashboard. It will give your total value in $$$ so if you compare next week then it should have gone up a little bit lol
alright thanks
0.1 on 1 in 2 months means 60% APY
Do make sure you factor in the increase/ decrease of ILV price :)
can someone help me... my vesting is already unlocked, i want to re-stake it again.. can you tell me how?
Re-stake because you want to increase the time your initial stake is locked? Because they keep their token weight from when you locked them initially as long as you dont withdraw.
In the former case just withdraw and stake again! If you like their token weight they had then dont withdraw them.
my initial stake is only 3months, if i will re-stake it again for 1yr the weight will increase? or it will just the same if i will not withdraw it and let it there
The weight will only increase if you withdraw and stake again for a prolonged period. If you just leave it there it will continue to have a 3 month stake-weight.
What does SLP stand for and how to buy it
It is the sushi liquidity pool, you can buy 50% ILV and Eth and then swap on Sushiswap to add liquidity to the ILV/Eth pool.
Once you have done that you will get Sushi Liquidity tokens that you can stake in the SLP pool on Illuvium.io
(DO NOTE! There is a fake Sushiswap site "sushiswmap" where you give away your password be aware :) edit: oh it was taken down already. Yesterday it was still up

Hi everyone!
I’m new to Illuvium and relatively new to crypto. I’ve got some ETH( which I intend to invest in some land) but can anyone advise if it’s worth buying ILV at the moment. Was initially thinking to buy around 3-4 ILV and start staking(.. although not sure how feasible this is now due to ILV current price).
Most stakers here hope to get about 30-50$ per month revenue distribution per token within half a year of release. If that actually plays out then staking 3-4 ILV is definitly worth it even if you pay 300$ gas fees.
With 4 tokens and without yield farming, you will get the gas fees back through revdis alone within a year :) NFA this after all only holds true if people enjoy playing the game.
Why I cannot stake when I submit the transaction in Metamask on my mobile?
Thanks, I do have some faith in this game, it is different from what competitors offer but also have the feeling ILV will drop a little at some point in the future, but yea you’re defo right, there are still high chances of getting good returns on staking. I believe I will have to make a decision soon enough..still trying to get my head around SLP pool and the way it works 🙂
1 more question, if i will lock it again for 1 yr, can I withdraw the reward sILV anytime once the game is open? or i will wait it to unlock? thank you
You can always claim the rewards in sILV and withdraw sILV. But if you claim the rewards in ILV they will have to vest for a year.
Your initial stake will be locked again for the time you lock it up for.
Mods should know roughly what to do about that. You would need to share the error message with them so they can help you out. Usually it comes down to: do all transactions on the computer (phone just doesnt work very well indeed) if it still doesnt work then clear cache, update everything to their latest versions or changing browser. Im not sure if this will help!
thx
thank you very much
Im having trouble connecting my metamask wallet to claim my rewards. any suggestions?
Where do I see the rewards I just claimed? The transaction went through, I paid $84 in gas , but I don’t see the rewards.
If your on mobile, go to setting find your browser and clear cashe and history.
This is the 3 third time I’ve lost gas fees trying to withdraw rewards
Best way to convert siLV to Eth and boost staking rewards!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsrsqGWbS5M
how much will migration from v1 to v2 cost in gas?
I think a lot of people will have small amount of ILV not feasible for transition if the cost is too high
How often should you claim your rewards when staking for 1 year? Using the calculator Excel sheet it says that not claiming a lot (every month of every couple of months) is better for avoiding too much gas fees? How long after the claiming I will get the rewards?
It depends on the amount of rewards you are claiming, for example some people claim weekly, biweekly, monthly etc. You can use the calculators to help you with this if the gas fee is 1% of what you are claiming in terms of price that's pretty decent. Once again depends on how much ILV or ILV/ETH you are staking.
I'm not completely clear on what claiming is and how I should go about it. If I just stake my ilv, do I still need to claim to get my ~40% APY or is claiming just to get revdis?
you stake -> rewards compile. You claim -> it claimes the reward that have compiled and either locks them for 12 months (ILV claim) or are free to use (sILV claim). Revdis is completely different from staking
am I eligible for revdis while staking but pre-claiming? it seems to make sense with gas fees being high and if staking small quantities of ilv to just wait 12 months to claim anything, but only if I'm still accumulating both apy and revdis?
thats a lot of jumbled up words i have a hard time understanding. As far as i know: If you stake, you are eligible for RevDis. They might change that only locked stake can be eligible for revdis. When you claim it locks for 12 months. So if you wait 12 months and then claim, you will still need to wait for 12 months. All claimed ILV is eligible for revdis
hey guys! i want to ask, if my vesting period is over, but i don't withdraw, will i still get the rewards? or do i have to withdraw and stake again ?
you do not have to re-stake it, when the vesting period ends your ilv is unlocked and still receive rewards
thank you!
ok thanks, Shabim, yeah I'm still a bit confused about all the wording. To be honest I've yet to see a really clear explanation about the differences between staking, claiming, and revdis - feels like a lot of confusion around this in discord. I get that rev dis and staking rewards are different revenue streams that come from different places (apy from treasury vs rev dis just from revenue), but at the same time it seems like you can't get rev dis unless you stake, so they're not completely different.
It is quite simple, people just over complicate things. Staking: you receive the APY. Revenue distribution: All the revenue received by illuvium goes back to stakers. (the more revenue illuvium generates, the more money per ilv per month you will receive)
Sure I get that. But then shouldn't I just wait for a long time for APY and rev dis to accumulate before I claim? It sounds like the only downside is that it then vests for 12 months but I don't mind waiting, I just want biggest $ increase with lowest gas fees.
You can do that if you want. However when you claim ILV, the interest compounds, for example. You have 50 ilv staked, and you have 5 ilv as reward. You claim the 5 ilv (it locks for 12 months with a weight of 2, which means that illuvium treats it as if you just claimed 10 ilv (5x2)). So now effectively you have 60 ilv staked and receiving rewards. Revenue distributed ILV will be unlocked
Ah okay. I think it was the compounding bit I was missing. So you have to claim for the rewards to compound, it doesn't just happen automatically. That makes sense, thank you.
Whats the cheaper route to staking - buying ILV through uni/sushi using metamask, or buying ILV on an exchange and transferring it to metamask
ofc Buy from CEX (gas-friendly or low in commission) and then send to MM and then stake
Should easily be low enough to save them gas in the long run. Since the transaction cost to exit the staking pools will be reduced.
Any estimate when V2 staking will be live?
hey Arash watched your YT stuff man, great work. Have you tried to just build an optimized re-invest curve? Just thinking that may also be useful rather than having people plug in and see how model changes
Not yet just wait for #📣〕announcements and when a proposal becomes available to read.
Hi ! does anyone used Deraji google sheets to estimate the expected value of stacking ?
Is it safe ro say 35.45% monthly on SLP? WITH CURRENT APY BEING 425%
oh I thought Deraji was Arash, no?
you're maybe right, i'm not an expert yet, sorry if I misunderstood the creator
Is it safe to say 35.45% monthly on SLP? WITH CURRENT APY BEING 425%
Looking forward to staking been hoarding my ILV
as far as I know that's two awesome but different person 😆
on that matter I really have a struggle with revDis. If we can stake revDis and hence gaining more the next Month. Why someone not in desperate need of money would sell ILV. We could just, AndyG quote here, "HOLD" and eventually we would reach the 10M ilv cap?
@cunning perch No lol
ilv can be sold in fractions you know, if in the extremely unlikely event that all ilv tokens are "hodled' 1 token would be worth many many millions, and somebody would take profits
That could be an implicit vow between holders ? "no profit till 1 ILV = 1M cap"
that would never happen, there are always paper hands 😄
Wait what? no way I'd be that smart haha @elder dawn is the one and only 🙂 I'll take that as a complement haha. Feels good to be compared to a smart person.
can i send my ILV from my binance wallet using metamask and then stake?
or should I buy it some other way?
you can send from Binance to MM, yes 🙂
oops! lol
Is it safe to say 35.45% monthly on SLP? WITH CURRENT APY BEING 425% i know apy will fluctuate bt is this analysis correct
the price fluctuates, the apy fluctuates, one month you can make 5k, another 10k, if you are locked for 400+% dont worry about it
Has anyone had trouble withdrawing their LINK from the flash pool? I need some help. It keeps telling me I need to claim the reared first which I already did.
I'm in France, which platform do you recommend to buy Eth (lowest fee, ect ...) ?
I love the conspiracy theory! I'm happy to be confused with someone as dedicated and helpful as @boreal merlin 😁
Is it worthit to buy ETh directly from wyre on Metamask for example ?
I would recommend getting it on crypto.com
Nice to see you there ! I'm trying to use your google sheets for the ILV claim but I struggle to find some informations ; where can I find the TVL for ILV and SLP if I don't have a wallet paired with the Illuvium site ?
Ok I will check thx
hello deraji thank u for all the work you do for the community 💯
The staking site is the best spot for tvl. I also update my rewards tracking sheet daily, check out the"return" tab https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Pm6b54YRTjdv6cDmWwudyejk2aA8XSEB5CgzKWe1N20/edit?usp=drivesdk
In staking v2, are there any talks of making it a single transaction to claim both SLP and ILV pool rewards? Also, there should definitely be a withdraw all button on the vesting page for the same reason
thx for your help ! 🙂
Just one more noobi question : what's the daily estimate (0.128 today) means ? Is it base on your tokens ?
If you save your own version, you can enter your number of staked ILV and SLP and get your daily estimate. The default is 2 slp and 10 ilv at 2x weight
Ok I understand better, 2x weight is the maximum for 1year right ?
Newbie question: I have lp & ilv staking now. I would like to unstake my ilv and stake it as a lp. Do I need to claim rewards to do this? Or can I unstake my ilv without the need to claim my rewards?
Hey, what does "weight" means when staking?
Its a multiplier that is applied to your tokens. So if you hold 10 tokens with a weight of 2.0, you earn rewards on 20 tokens. The trade off is that you have to lock tokens for X amount of time to get higher weight
When does staking V2 come out?
We still await an IIP to get voted on by the council.
Want to make sure I understand RevDis rewards correctly.
Let's say you have 100 ILV. In order to get RevDis on these, they have to be staked?
Then lets say for first month you get $x in RevDis which we'll say = 10 ILV
- This RevDis is paid back to you in more ILV, right? Not ETH?
- And this new 10 ILV is unstaked?
So if this is all true, then you would have to 're-stake' this new 10 ILV for it to be eligible for the next round of RevDis?
!revdis is paid in ILV tokens yes. And it is not staked until you stake it. Your revdis will accumulate a bit like the current APY rewards do.
Is revdis being properly explained to people? As of right now, V1 staking does not actually provide you revdis yet. If this was the case, we would've received revdis from the partnerships (which were supposed to be test cases for revids.) I feel like it should be made clearer that revdis is supposed to be coming out in V2, but isn't functional yet.
Thank you. So, just how I thought it worked then.
I know this was addressed as in IIP, but never heard further clarification on it.
Since only staked ILV will get RevDis, how is it going to be monitored to prevent people coming in and staking for a couple hours to claim RevDis, then immediately unstaking?
Because, no way 100% of all existing ILV will be staked.
You are wrong. It does qualify. They just haven’t started distribution because it’s too small an amount.
Okay, still the functionality is not there yet. I feel like that part is being missed out on.
If v2 never gets approved then we will get stuck with v1 and revdis will get sent
Can I just check if the team decides to do a 100% revenue distribution model, what does the team earn at all? Just curious on this
It’s not in the UX because there is no need to muddy things with a currently useless tab. And the website team has been rolling out other things anyways. Revdis is certainly hard to explain to those that don’t read. And then it’s hard to explain how it will fit into the UX when that UX is not out yet.
The team has tokens it holds that are eligible for revdis. It’s the TREASURY.
Technically treasury has closer to 1.8 million tokens because not all the launchpad tokens were sold.
So while revdis goes 100% to holders/stakers the team was smart enough to hold tokens to receive revenue for continued development.
Ah I see thanks for the clarification
Don’t mind me asking again haha, what’s the difference between the team’s 1.5mil tokens and the treasury’s 1.5mil(or 1.8mil in this case) tokens? Doesn’t both belong to the team if that’s the case?
TEAM tokens are held by individuals. It’s part of their compensation package.
TREASURY belongs to the DAO studio
Ok cool I get it now, thanks pelican
Ok let’s continue this discussion in #814313779696238642
If you need
We’ve strayed from #🥩〕staking topic. 😂
Considering it's not actually implemented yet, wouldn't it be better for this to say that it's planned for 100% revenue distribution to occur?
is there a way to increase my weight for an LP stake I already have locked?
Not currently. It’s possible that is included in the v2 proposal
OK thanks. If it's currently flexible, I need to first withdraw before restaking at higher weight?
People planning to lock their coins for any amount of time should know that in the current state, revenue distribution has not occurred yet. I understand its planned, but not mentioning in some way that it is not a functioning system yet could be viewed as being misleading.
The revenue from the deathroad partnership will be distributed. It just is being held by the vault currently. But yeah things aren’t really rolling since there aren’t games out yet.
yyyoooo whats goood fam 😄
I mean without a game launched yet...having no revdis is rather obvious
So here is what I see in the near future (2021)… v2 implemented, v2 allows for revdis to safely occur, revdis activity allows for land sale to occur WITH revdis, #🎮〕illuvium-zero launches in limited fashion after land sale, more potential revdis thanks to IZ, and somewhere in there there is also now ILLUVITARS for sale
One of the main reasons Kieran cited taking the deathroad partnership was for testing revdis in V1. It was supposed to be a perfect test case for revdis, since the amount of revenue expected wasn't going to be enormous. Then, it was chosen not to be distributed. That's why I'm suggesting it be made clearer that in the current state, revdis is not actually occuring.
would it be reasonable to stake ILV/ETH with $1300 + $1300?
if I were to wait for 70-80 gwei gas with each transaction patiently
Ah if you're referring to the deathroad thing, then i can see where you are coming from
I would think so. You’ll need to hold a significant amount of eth to pay for transactions
That’s true. I’ve not been trying to say you are wrong. It’s just that the bot command is not technically inaccurate either. And announcements have been made. But yeah my understanding is that the idea of having the revdis system tested revealed some issues that needed to get fixed.
I cant edit the calculators so I dont know what I'd end up on
what was the $ value earned from the deathroad partnership?
I think the bot command is inaccurate in the fact that it doesn't distinguish that this feature is not yet implemented, and instead, is worded as if it was already a full fledged feature.
You need to create a copy of the document to be able to edit it
I see it now. First sentence Second paragraph should say “will be” instead of “is”
Unfortunately mods can’t just jump in and edit these things. And someone that gets paid to do work for the DAO must take the time to implement the edits. I’ll bring it up but it will likely hit a cost/benefit wall.
I mean considering we're asking people to lock their tokens for an amount of time, it should be made clear as possible.
It’s usually just easier to leave most of the general commands as is (since they will be accurate) and share some clarifications.
Would that word change make the difference or do you suggest some other changes for clarity?
Would it really not be easier to just fix it? That way not only you, but anyone who uses the bot provides accurate information?
Honestly, people dont summon the bot, they just ask their question and want an answer from someone.
I'd put, Revenue distribution will be paid out in the future in the form...
This is the equivalent of getting a new job and expecting to get paid before you start. No one is expecting rev dis until the land sale at least
