Yeah probably a gas fee (but since you are locked for a year you wont be moving over to v2 until your stake unlocks, but u will be receiving ur rewards in v2 and u may need to pay a gas fee to initially connect to v2, not sure) (and whatever that gas fee is its nothing compared to all the rewards ur earning from staking leading up to that point, you’ve told me the size of your stake, this is nothing to worry about)

By the time 12 month rewards are unlocked, Bear market might be here or ETH 2.0 out. Who knows. Gas might be in cents
This too is a positive point
Gas is just particularly insane last few months…
Got everyone concerned about it lol
Yep. I’d say we’d be more than fine. Esp if your stake is worth tens of thousands if not hundreds or millions
I cannot Disagree
We are all GMI is we HOLD and keep the stake staked 😄
Hi guys. My SLP would be unlock soon and I would like to re stake with more period, Do I have to claim reward before unstake or I can unstake and reward will claim automaticly?
The moment you unstake/withdraw the pool will ask you to claim your rewards. So press withdraw and you will claim too(2 TX). Then you can stake again and lock for longer periods
Thank you Arash. 😊
gas is super low rn
Is there any way to know what percentage of stakes are locked vs. flexible?
Just want to understand why rank 1 address holds 90% of tokens?
Yup, that gave me pause when I first saw saw it. It just takes someone in that top wallet to cash out just some of their ILV and the price tanks. I am out for sure, lol.
That includes locked seed and team tokens as well as the treasury which is in custody of the DAO. There is no individual capable of just cashing out there.
I see. So that address belongs to the DAO?
Yes, there is no individual holding 90% of the ILV tokens.
Got it. Appreciate it
If you claim your rewards, it goes to the Vesting tab and then gets locked for a year?
Yep
Claim rewards need gas fees, then withdraw of rewards = gas fee and withdraw of staked ILV = gas fee. Is that correct?
Everything needs gas. Claim/stake/withdraw/swap/migrate/transfer
You cant withdraw both stake and rewards using same gas, right?
Nope. Withdrawal requires the claiming of the rewards first. So you pay more gas
I’m 50% 2 weight SLP and 50% 0 weight SLP….. the project is getting me more and more pumped though. I may go 100% 2 weight
If they are all in the vesting tab, you cant withdraw all of them with single gas?
That is what V2 is proposing to take care of.
Appreciate the answers
No worries bro 🙂

if i have 3 ilv, is it better to stake on ilv only pool ?
#🥩〕staking message this tool may help you decide. If you have the ETH to pair with those 3 ILV… you may find that you would have enough SLP to be worth the extra transaction costs.
Either way you gotta stake for the long haul
thanks peli! will check that out
Look up deraji on YouTube. He’s got some good videos
copy that, i've staked before already but ilv pool only cause i got small amount. but scored a big one today and planning to add 3ilv hehe
if i have 3ilv, how much slp do i need if i plan to stake ilv/eth?
You need an equal $ value of Eth and Ilv to add to the pool.
!lp
Providing liquidity for ILV is done via an ILV/ETH Pool on SushiSwap and requires a few different steps compared to staking only ILV. These steps are the following:
- You acquire a 50/50 ratio of both ILV and ETH (in $)
- You go to: https://app.sushi.com/add/ETH/0x767FE9EDC9E0dF98E07454847909b5E959D7ca0E
- After approving the contract (if this is your first interaction with it), you stake your 50/50 ratio of ETH and ILV in the pool
- You receive SLP tokens (To see them, add the SLP contract address to your wallet: 0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda)
- You go to: https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/core
- You can now stake your SLP Tokens in the Sushi LP pool just like ILV is staked in the ILV pool.
If you never provided LP before though, make sure to understand IL: https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/impermanent-loss-explained
ohh great thanks !
Agree nice and simple explanation.
Whats the best way to claim sILV for immediate returns? Claim sILV and exchange for ETH on Sushi?
No the sILV pool on uniswap has much better liquidity.
Last I checked.
@steady trellis @elder dawn @ripe steppe Hey guys, anyone of you, done the calculation of whether it's better to regularly claim ILV vs claiming sILV and selling it for SLP. Which compounds better?
check out my assessment here - short term, it's probably SLP for big investors, but there's serious drawbacks, particularly at lower investment levels. I'm a 🐟 all in the SLP, and it didn't make sense for me, but different people have different levels of risk. https://www.publish0x.com/ilvfi/illuvium-s-gift-cards-all-about-silv-part-1-silv-to-slp-stra-xwwkndg
Yes! The gift card!
And I'm a shrimp 😄 so this makes even less sense for me 🙂
yeah, transaction fees are going to be huge for you, especially how gas has been the last couple weeks
But what an awesome read. I was trying to wrap my head around it the whole afternoon 🙂
Amazing post. thanks bro!
I've got 50 sILV am I going to make it
I mean thats a pretty substantial bag, if you plan on spending that on land who knows you might be able to bag a T4 land or two, congrats!
Hey, don't buy all the lands man. Leave some for shrimps. Damn....some ppl are rich 😄
Lol I am a shrimp
🤫
@ripe steppe out of 100k land nfts, how many do you think are tier 4s?... and of that quantity, how many of those t4s do you think will be available for purchase during initial 20k plot land sale? Same question for t3s? and also how many tier 2 plots you think there'll be this round? Which leaves x amount of T1s?
Thank you for that!
Make sure it’s the one on v3
Great work 👌🏻 . Thank You
What Deraji said. I've an advantage on him though, I've no tax on crypto. Disadvantage, I've less ILV than him. I didn't do either.
After you claim sILV, is there a way to put them into the wallet (metamask) or swap it with ETH?
when you claim, they should go to your wallet. there is a liquidity pool on Uniswap that you can use to swap to ETH. Use the pinned contract number from the token channel to find the pool.
sIlV didn’t show up in my wallet though. I can only see them in the illuvium page dashboard. Is there something i am missing?
As Deraji said. You need to add the token address manually 👇
ILV Token: 0x767fe9edc9e0df98e07454847909b5e959d7ca0e
ETH/ILV SLP Token: 0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda
sILV Token: 0x398aea1c9ceb7de800284bb399a15e0efe5a9ec2
Thanks. I’ll give it a try 👍🏻
I honestly have no clue, for now all we know is that there will be only 7 T5 lands, and that the higher the tier the less available plots there will be, for more info check #🎮〕illuvium-zero
Yo so
at one point I approved an ilv spend limit where I paid some gas price. Will there be any other cost to get into staking?
And will I be able to sell me ilv once I put them into staking?
didn't get your question tbh
What cost will I encoutner if I want to stake
Can I sell my ilv once I have staked it or is the ilv I have staked un movible!?
When you stake it will be in the pool until the locking is done. Then you can decide to keep it there (migrate to V2 after its implementation) or withdraw and hodl/sell. If you withdraw you will lose your weight and eligibility to receive RevDis for the withdrawn tokens. (for withdrawal, migration, claims and stakes you need to pay gas)
So either way I have to wait 12 months before I can do shit with my ilv again?
if they are locked for 12 months yeah.
Hi all, i just saw that the ILV pool has a size of 600m USD. Somehow I remember it to be 60m or so. Are the team token now counted in or something? What happened?
no, its been around that high for a while with the slp somewhere around half that
I’m expecting 0 t5 land in first sale. To maximize profit on those you want to show a successful game. The potential loss of selling early makes no sense.
I’d seriously consider only t1-3 in the first sale if I was on the team. I’m not, just speculating.
Any chance the V2 staking contract could allow an option for the claimed ILV rewards from the SLP pool to be used for additional lockup back in the SLP pool?
Mfw the SLP pool is growing way faster than you had calculated for
what is weight when I go to the pool details
I assume its the pool's allocation weight from the total distributed rewards which is then divided among the stakers according to their own stake/weight. If that makes sense....
Pool weight represents what percent of the total ILV rewards will go to that pool. SLP gets about 80% and ILV gets about 20%. When flash pools are going on they take 2% so each of the others is a little lower.
The ILV stake is made in the Binance site or where? I'm newbie, srry, thx!
Its on the staking tab on Illuvium.io
There is a staking tutorial video in the pins that is pretty helpful.
Ok, thank you!
damn the APY drops quick
how much ?
. Dropped 2 percent today
Super noob here in the gaming space, but no stranger to crypto. I’ve yet to find any centralized market in the US selling ILV. Any advice? I really want to ape all in on this and stake ILV straight up rather than risking the opportunity cost of impermanent loss. Just don’t want to spend the $50 to swap on sushi on the eth mainnet.
Its on crypto.com, not sure if that works for US peeps. You can also lie to gate.io about where you are and you can buy it there.
Quick question - you can’t get impermanent loss if you stake in the ILV core pool right? Also is it cheapest to get ILV on Binance ?
impermanent loss is with the SLP pool because your eth to ilv ratio can reflect different when you take the money out. if one token sky rockets in value you may get less of that one than you put in. theres also traders that can manipulate these things. impermanent loss is confusing. with that said, if your excited about both projects in a stake pool it doesn't matter as much. make sense?
kucoin binance are centrialized ones. defi would be sushi and i believe...... uni V3 if im correct
Thought so, makes sense! Thanks 🙏🏼
you got it!
defi if your learning is good to learn because you can snipe good projects before they hit things like coinbase and 5-10X
Yeah definitely. The trick is finding the good, legit projects though. So many random and scammy projects out there!
100%
APY going down need to stake more 😉
word
i could see liquidity going up and yield going down more dramatically with the bankless podcast. that brings a lot of people
Is the revdis for 12 month locked or for Flexi too
!revdis
The tokenomics of this DAO include a 100% revenue distribution (could be subject to change - DAO governance). This means that any kind of revenue generated through sales or in-game revenue is distributed back to holders of staked ILV. The same max supply of 10 Million ILV will be used for this purpose regardless of how many games the DAO develops.
Revenue distribution is paid out in the form of unlocked ILV and the payout is done multiple times a week without a fixed schedule. Before paying out revenue distribution, the vault converts ETH spent in-game into ILV by buying it off the market which puts buying pressure on the ILV token and thus supports its price development.
Ok, so as of right now it's both, but subject to change from the dao
Ah I see what you mean now. Yeah correct
I'm locked 12 months, wondering if reward someone on 2 or 3 months is good
They would have a lower weight. You’ve got 2x they’d have around 1.22x So they’d get less revdis.
1.22/2 as much
Ok cool, thanks for that mate
Oooo I didn't realize Revdis was weighted as well. things get more interesting the deeper i dive into this project. thanks
So followup question, to help my understanding, when your SLP vesting period ends, you get back both ETH & ILV in your wallet in the order of your SLP token amount. Which you are saying if the value has gone up, on one, say ETH more than ILV, I'd get back less ETH amount but to the same value as the SLP token? Is that right
Yes. this is how i understand it. best bet is to watch like 5 videos on impermanent loss as well though because there are other factors
When the vesting ends your SLP will remain staked at whatever weight you had it staked at. You can withdraw it at that point if you want to and it can be converted back to ILV/ETH on sushi.
Ok, so then I have a choice and can withdraw at a time were my impermanent losses could be minimized
Assuming I'd want to withdraw and not continue to stake and earn rewards
im using an apy calculator to try and calculate my estimated monthly returns, but the calculations i keep coming up with are way lower than what my returns actually are... any idea as to why this might be?
what pool are you in
core slp
you get 0.25% of all trades on this pair proportional to your share of the pool. Fees are added to the pool, accrue in real time and can be claimed by withdrawing your liquidity.
im making like 3x what the calculator says i should be. could it be that high from 0.25% of trades?
mabye I have the same "issue"
did you try it?
yeah just now Im making around 2.8 times more
id really like to utilize this tool to get some estimates, but its just so far off lol
hi sers, after my locked period, if i dont withdraw, does it still keep earning rewards?
yes
Holy shit I just realised I am making $400 a day for nothing if this continues for a year (it won't), then I would make 146,000
thats the plan
thats crazy I just did the math for the first time
lol, you havent even looked at the numbers?!
no lol I wanted to be suprised
you must be staking like 25k?
around that yeah
thats great!
defi is the move. im trying to quit my job in 6 months to just pursue yield farming
the humble life of a farmer 👨🌾
APY calculators use compounding of interest back into the initial deposit. That does not happen in the illuvium SLP pool.
are most you guys double weight slp or a blend? im thinking going all in on the double next time i claim
I do think this is a good idea for those with enough buying power and long term investment plans.
im 2x full 12 month lock. all the way just seems like THE option
i have a pretty diverse and conservitive portfolio. very conservitive. im also just thinking its a multi year project for sure. and not something to worry about short term price
Its great huh! Get Derajis calculator and look at 3 years time with revdis of $50 per token, and token value at $2500. Might be much higher, but the outcome of even that combined with staking is... Phenomenal!
Well there is more risk in SLP but the apy is gonna get you enough ILV in the ILV only pool to outweigh that risk in less than a year. Though the transaction fees are significantly higher for SLP as well.
honestly even 1/2 that would be a win for me. I saw that calculator its great
Im all in SLP
Deraji has videos on YouTube as well. So does vetemor
hmm.. Yea im all in SLP / just 1/2 is single weight and 1/2 double. origionally it was all single but i keep getting more excited about the project and community as i dive into it.
still a few more weeks for V2 right? i deffintly have to make that decision before V2
so wouldn't that make the calculation higher than the actual yields? im yielding more than the calculations..
Oh lol I guess I misread that.
Are you talking about the APY number on the website? That number is considerably lower than the current APR rate that you are actually getting.
Yeah, thats the number im punching in to the calculator.. where can we find the current APR rate?
Im sure theres a way you could calculate it based on the number of tokens being distributed and the size of the pools but Im not exactly sure how. I figured it out by seeing how much staking reward I got during a 24 hour period and doing the math off that.
Damn
Last time I checked it was around 482% i think. About a week ago.
I think its all in this spreadsheet somewhere #🥩〕staking message
Hi guys, i wonder then i claim the ILV rewards, and start the vesting period of 1yr. This claimed rewards is gaining interest? if so, whats the interest???
It's the core ILV pool apy
!claim Claimed ILV from Yield Farm Rewards out of both pools are vested in the ILV Core pool 🙂
Rewards from staking have to be manually claimed and GAS fees for those transactions have to be paid:
- When you stake ILV yield farming rewards start piling up for you
- You claim those rewards whenever you deem the pile to be big enough to justify gas fees
- If you claim sILV you have it unlocked right away (sILV is only usable in game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena)
- If you claim ILV then that batch of ILV gets locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effect
- New rewards start piling up....rinse and repeat
NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.
You flexible staking or locked?
Need help. My staking is finished and i want to stake again.Do I have to withdraw my ILVs first?
You mean your stake is unlocked? If you want more weight (lock longer) then yeah, you need to withdraw and lock again. If not, you can leave it there.
Yeah, it's unlocked now. Basically, looking for ways to save gas fees
Gas is meeeeeeh rn. Not too good not too bad. But to have more weight you literally have to re-stake. So gotta have to withdraw and then stake again choosing longer locks. If not, your unlocked stake is still generating reward on the same weight you have until V2 is out
What if I don't withdraw it? Will it continue to earn ILVs based on previous weight?
Just answered you in my previous pm 😄
slowmode 🤣
Am I correct?
-It is still considered staked until I withdraw it.
-Same weight and earning based on current apy.
Sorry for being repetitive lol
Yep. Until V2 is out that is. We'll have for the new proposal. You might need to migrate there after its implementation
As always, thank you Arash.
Happy to help 🙂
hey guys just wondering if i could get some help with a few questions
Sure. What's up
so i locked in some ilv to stake a few months back it has now ended and it says its available to withdraw....
do i have to take it back out and lock it back into staking again or can i leave it there and still get rewarded ilv by sitting there on withdraw... sorry if i explained it bad
Hey Carding, worth noting that the APY isn't fixed, it's variable. So you can lock in at 2x APY, but your actual rate slowly deteriorates while it's staked - it's not a constant for the staking duration
I have answered the same question a Few pms above 🙂 read about 10 comments on top of yours
sorry
Arash is the best
yeah right so i have to re lock to earn better interest or i just leave it there not locked and it still earns!!
If you leave there, it still generats rewards at the same weight until V2 is out. If you withdraw, then you have to lock again and choose another weight
whats v2? sorry for the questions
Changes and improvements coming to how staking in ILV works 🙂
What @manic spindle said 👆
ok sweet!! thanks for the help. i will leave them unlocked and maybe re lock when v2 comes out 💪🏼
Watch out cuz in V2 if you want a 2X weight, you might need to lock for 2 years while it's one year on V1 (current one). Anything might change with the next proposal to be approved by the council
thats all sweet! thankyou for your help
Hi I have a good amount of value locked in both pool s. I want to do some working on redemption given the fees to maximise the compounding effect. I want to find the optimal quantity of ilvs before I press the button given I will be spending $80 each time for both pools. Has anyone done it? If not, is there a reference to compounding calculation
At the moment, I am doing 5 in each pool
To time your claims, you can use the calculators in pinned messages. Or claim like I do: when gas = 1% of the value of your pending rewards.
Hmm that's a good reference point. So at 1% compounding outweighs the fees?
I always do that. So for example when gas is $80 (personally have never paid that much for gas) then the pending rewards should be worth $8k
good. that's a pretty impressive chunk
I am in ilv since the Dutch auction and luckily was my biggest investment ever
I truly believe it will cross eth price that pure mcap analysis
Dutch Auction? you mean the Balancer sale?
Congratz 💪💪
Yes
You're an OG then. 😄 enjoy being rich, but make sure you stay rich too haha 😄
I got nfts as well. I am rolling deep
Hahah I am in finance, I know how to not be stupid
You are def GMI haha 😄
I was in haven (snx) as well, that's my biggest regret ever. I had 25000 tokens, sold at dirt price . This time ain't selling
offf now that's a loss. 5 ILV in each pool should make it worth your while, generating more and more each time. No limits here
Yes love ilv
But I honestly believe that ilv will cross eth price once game launches. That's pure market cap analysis
we'll see. he moment it does tat, it's time for decoupling and starting its own journey with RevDis as its fuel 🙂
Let's go
I do some staking but I have to admit I have diffuculties understanding all ILV possibilities. Hopefully it will be easier in the future.
Whatever questions you have you can always ask in proper channels and we’ll help you.
hi! I'm excited, I just claimed my rewards for 1st time (eth gas price reasonable for the amount to claim)
now I see the rewarded ILV added to my stake in the dashboard, but the sILV balance still shows 0, that's normal atm isn't it?
If you claimed the rewards in sILV if you should show your sILV balance check viewing your wallet on Etherscan
oh, I think now I get it, you must select between compounding ILV rewards or claiming sILV for use in-game, is it this way?
Yes when you claim rewards, you have the choice to either claim as sILV (used in-game, in the upcoming land sale, Illuvatars sale, and any use case in the future) these tokens are unlocked to your wallet whereas the ILV is locked.
thanks for the clarification @brisk surge ! I am still a bit new and there is a lot to learn hehe, then probably I will try alternating the choice each claim to also have the chance, specially to claim land 😄
My pleasure!
GWEI at 30s!
@hot lynx told ya we'll hit 30s haha and you don't believe me 😄
Awsome Brb racing to SLP claim
hi is there a way to upgrade the claiming of rewards? example: i have invested in sushi pool and have vested my ILV rewards. if i claim rewards i have to claim the vested ILV rewards first and then the sushi LP rewards, i.e.i cannot just claim the sushi rewards. this to me is not economically viable
Thanks mate ace 👍🏻🚀 did my trade at 35 gwei
😄
Yes. SLP reward claim is always a 2 gas TX. One to claim ILV pool and one to claim SLP. That’s why you should do it once you have enough tokens to claim if they can justify the gas
thanks. i have enough from my SLP but no enough from my vested ILV. the first transaction is to claim the rewards from vested ILV. the second transaction is to claim rewards from SLP. I just don't understand why these 2 are not separated out to give the user the choice? in the end the only loser is the user
I believe this pm can help you #🥩〕staking message
Thanks. To be fair that doesn't really answer the question. IMO there should be the option to do it separately. why not change the order of transactions, i.e. it always ask you to claim rewards from single stake ILV first and then SLP. if you reject the first tranasction then you cannot claim the SLP rewards. why not do it the other way around, i.e. when you click claim the first rewards you claim are from SLP and then you can reject the second transaction. i could imagine most issues like this come from low single stake rewards relative to SLP
There are some ppl who have experimented with rejecting/canceling the first transaction (don’t remember exactly how or in what sequence and def don’t recommend it) but seems it has worked for them. But the only official way to do ao, is to claim both pools if you are claiming SLP
ok. i am just coming on here to express that i think it is unfair and the only person that loses are the small guy. take that as you will
and that the logic could be improved by changing the order of the claiming
If you claim your SLP rewarss as ILV you stake then back into the ILV pool, which needs to be empty before new stakes can come in. So it makes sense to me that the ILV pool gets claimed first.
So awsome man 🚀 👍🏻
do I need to buy ilv before being able to play the game?
!f2p No 🙂
You begin our game with a free-to-play experience that immerses you in our richly-detailed world, lets you enjoy some action, and helps you understand how the game works. The free-to-play experience of the Tier 0 regions will familiarize you with Illuvium, and won’t feel like an “abridged” version of the game. It is a full-fledged gameplay experience! If you like it, you can then decide to opt in to the paid experience, start collecting NFTs from higher tiered regions, and delve into deeper adventures to explore the mysteries of the game where the NFTs you gather start to hold more value as well.
Just after game launch, when everyone starts fresh, you might even be able to sell free Tier 0 NFTs on the IlluviDEX for ETH, but there is no guarantee for that.
!ilv
ILV is not needed for gameplay in any way. Instead it has three main functions:
Governance:
Together, we have the power to shape the future of Illuvium through our community collaboration on game improvement proposals as well as electing the initial model of governance, the Illuvinati Council.
Liquidity Mining:
Here, you will gain more ILV (or sILV). Additional ILV will increase your voting power in governance & increase your share of vault distributions.
Vault Distributions:
When you stake ILV, you share in Illuvium's success and earn a passive income of additional ILV, funded through in-game purchases and fees. Vault distributions will only be available from sales and once the game and Illuvidex are launched.

guys which calcualtor to use, there are few there
one question, it seems like as per the calculator that the revenue distribution will only happen to people in SLP pool? is that correct? What about ILV pool stakers, wouldnt they be getting revenue dist?
Thanks stormi!
Would be good if the nft's could have some sort of power up or give + attribute % to use in battle, would incentivise the value of the nft's when collecting through the game.
hi! Would you please help me understand the mechanics of Sushi LP ILV-ETH staking, 12 months locked deposit:
- is there a lifetime limit on the ILV-ETH pool?
- there are rewards shown in the "rewards" section and options are to claim ILV or to claim sILV. If I only want to compound my staking, do I need to collect ILV rewards shown or I just leave them be and the compounding on those rewards happens automatically?
can someone please confirm this
Incorrect. Both core pools get RevDis but the LP Pool only receives RevDis according to the actual amount of ILV staked in there.
so its based on ILV on hand?
No, it's based on the amount of ILV STAKED and the token weight per token (depending on the chose locking period during the deposit) 🙂
Good morning! I grabbed some more ILV to add to my staked position says I need to claim rewards 1st though. Just wanted to see if I was missing something unfortunately gas is more than my rewards
When adding a new deposit, it is always required to claim pending rewards. This is done WITHIN the same deposit transaction though, NOT manually via "rewards" 🙂
oh so the deposit and reward claim happens in the same transaction?
so you need to stake your ILV to claim
Yes, don't try to claim them manually first and then deposit, it will only require you to then again claim whatever miniscule amount of rewards have piled up again.
You need to stake your ILV to be eligible for receiving any RevDis, yes.
i am all staked for 12 months locked
k ill try this again ty
Hi does any1 know when staking 2.0 will be implemented?
Then you get RevDis for those ILV staked when RevDis starts to be paid out
No, because there has been no final proposal been submitted to and approved by the council yet 🙂
when will that hapoen
Oohh ok cool
When relevant revenue starts to flow in and staking v2 is live.
next year Q1?
wouldnt that be this year cause of the mini mobile game
Main launch for Illuvium Zero is the same Day as the main game. Major revenue drivers will most likely be the land sale and the illuvatar sale before launch. Next to that partnerships like the one recently done with Deathroad to get some additional revenue in. Ongoing revenue from the games will obviously only happen from the time they are live.
ahh yep ok thanks 🙂
is there an estimate timeframe around that
Still the same as it has been for a long time now => Q1 2022 🙂
means itcould go to Q2 2020?
Finally able to claim SLP rewards. Caught Gwei at 42
is staking still worth it at this point
Only you can decide that but almost 400% APY and 2x weight for only a year of locking sounds great to me. Even ILV Core is almost 50%, if you don't wanna do SLP
but dont you need ILV for when the game comes out lol
No, ILV is a governance token. ETH is the main currency in the game. You can also use sILV that you can earn through staking.
is it possible to stake trougth binance wallet?
so i never staked anything before but, does your ILV stay staked while claiming the rewards? or is it unstaked every time
No, the contracts are on ETH mainnet.
You decide what and how long you stake , you can do flex or lock. Say you stake for 6 months, those funds are locked and cannot be withdrawn, when you decide to claim rewards you can choose ILV or sILV, if you choose ILV it is autostaked for 12 months, if you choose sILV it is unlocked and usable for in-game purchases
understood but can you claim your rewards while keeping ti staked?
!claim Claiming rewards does not impact your prior stakes 🙂
NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.
so you can stake for more ILV or snag sILV, which you don't NEED because it's interchangeable with ETH
!silv
sILV is a substitute currency that can only be gained as yield when staking ILV. In game, it can be used to pay for any fee (excluding IlluviDEX trades and Leviathan Arena wagers) that otherwise would be paid for with the main currency ETH. The value of sILV in the game - and for possible sales where sILV is allowed - will be equal to the value of ILV.
While claimed staking rewards in the form of ILV are locked for 12 months, sILV offers the opportunity to liquidate your staking rewards immediately. The tradeoff for that is that sILV only can be used in-game and does not provide compounding in any form.
Pretty much. There are benefits to staking, You earn rewards for your stake, if you keep it staked you also earn RevDis which is a portion of the income that Illuvium brings in. If you claim sILV as reward you are also helping reduce the total supply of ILV potentially making the ILV you hold more valuable.
So are majority of people staking for more ILV? is RevDis different from earning ILV from staking.
I can't speak for others but I am staking for more ILV. I'm not a whale so the staking rewards help build my bags. Yes, the Revdis is totally separate from APY and will be paid in ILV straight to your wallet unlocked. RevDis will continue to be paid as long as Illuvium is still in business and making money. So if in 3 years they are making billions from multiple games then people that stake get a piece of that.
how often can you claim
As often as you like but be careful of Gas Fees
do the rewards stack?
Also, can I stake 1 ILV right now but then just slowly add into it. Or should I get like 10 or whatever and stake it at the same itme
Your rewards are based on TVL, you can start with 1 and add more but you need to be conscious of gas fees. If you claim your rewards as ILV then they start compounding APY. So your free ILV from staking is now making more free ILV
@wind walrus What's TVL?
Total Value Locked
lmfao went to go stake and now theres different pools.
I don't see the one with 400% APY
Core Sushi LP is 396% at 12 months. That is the SLP token which is a liquidity token from Sushi. The standard Core ILV pool is 49% if you stake for 12 months. The shorter time you stake the less APY
ah okay so you doing core sushi then?
I am, I wanted the higher APY and was comfortable with IL (Impermanent Loss)
Hi thereA! I'm considering staking $ILV.
How can we check APY or APR?
Go to https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/core and connect with your wallet and you will see the APYs.
Illuvium | Staking
oh it works, thanks!
its funny we can't check APY unless we connect wallet😋
hi, any idea/suggestion/hint&tip when is the best time to harvest the reward? is this 0.1 ILV, 0.2 ILV, 0.5 ILV or 1 ILV ? thanks for any advice in advance
what's the apy for SPL atm?
here we go
SLP*, around 396% I believe
396.27% for SushiLP
In the pinned messages there should be a calculator. For me it seemed like about once a month or once every 2 weeks seemed to be best. But that’s just for my particular portfolio… snd I don’t want to pay a ton on gas
Also I like to claim late on sat Sundays and maybe I can snipe out some low gas
Good gas right now
are there any new etas on stake v2?
nope. Not yet
hey guys, im a bit confused about the staking. I have ILV in my wallet but i cant stake it. Also i dont understand what is the purpose of SLP token.
shouldnt I be able to stake my ILV using the ILV core pool?
You can stake your ILV directly in ILV pool using your wallet and ETH for gas. SLP is Sushi Liquidity Pool token in which you will have to stake ETH + ILV in equal amounts in $ value. and then stake the SLP token in SLP pool on the website
You should be able to if you have ILV in your wallet.
BUT you also need to be sure you have a sufficient amount of ETH in your wallet.
ETH is needed to pay the gas fee to approve/stake ILV 🙂
ok so thats the issue. i sold all my eth this weekend. will have to w8 for some eth to deposit
yep. you always need ETH for gas
Ahh, yes. Definitely try to keep some ETH in there.
You'll need it not only to approve/stake the ILV at the beginning... but also each time you decide to claim your rewards, you will pay ETH gas fees
ok got it
What is staking 2.0?
where do i find the value of sILV?
The original proposal for v2 is pinned. Note it is actively being revised.
is it the same as ILV?
thank you ser
Pegged for in-game spending, varies on secondary markets. I believe dextools has sILV price charts.
Or you can just check the price on Uniswap, that's been the only DEX with liquidity for sILV lately.
Say I earn 5 ILV from stake, but I claim it as sILV in order to compound back into the SLP pool, is it not worth 5 ILV?
and I don't se it on there, do I have to add it manually?
Ok, so sILV is worth about half of ILV..
!contract Yes
ILV Token: 0x767fe9edc9e0df98e07454847909b5e959d7ca0e
ETH/ILV SLP Token: 0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda
sILV Token: 0x398aea1c9ceb7de800284bb399a15e0efe5a9ec2
so if I have 5 ILV but i claim sILV instead, is it still 5 sILV?
I'd be losing half value in USD, then?
Is that right?
Your staking rewards will result in equal ILV or sILV, yes. If you are looking to sell the sILV, you will only get about 50% of USD value right now. sILV is recognized as the same value as ILV when purchasing from Illuvium (Lands Sale, Illuvitars, etc)
You'd only "lose" value if you were to sell that sILV. sILV claimed is liquid, ILV claimed is not immediately liquid due to the 12 month vesting period.
yeah i fucked up lol
Not necessarily-- I mean, if you're interested in playing Illuvium: Zero or minting Illuvatars, both the Land and the Illuvatars can be purchased with sILV or ETH. And just to reiterate what Saberfool was saying... in those cases, the sILV price is pegged to whatever the ILV price is at the time of the purchase... not the "price" shown in the sILV/ETH liquidity pool swaps.
So you will still get the full USD value if using sILV in those purchases.
If sILV is only worth 300 while ILV is worth 730 is there any point to claiming it and losing half the value
I am interested in playing IZ, but I was really trying to calculate returns for investment purposes. I already locked in because I never had the understanding that sILV wasn't pegged to ILV
Now it feels like im starting from scratch
Anytime you spend sILV in the Illuvium ecosystem (buying Land, avatars, spending in-game) it is treated as equal value to ILV.
Shouldn’t it’s price be a little closer than
Most people expect the gap will close as we get closer to the dates where it can actually be used. It won't trade at 50% value forever. It also won't make sense to buy on a secondary market for full value (as all those uses can also be covered with Eth), so it will probably land somewhere around 80% on secondary market? All speculation.
hello! as a rookie, is there a way to set the transactionfee?so that it automates the selling if gas is at a certain threshold?
Is there a way to get it on unicorn swap or any of the other swaps
Yeah, afaik the pool that has actual liquidity is on Uniswap. You'll have to manually look up the sILV token with the contract address pinned here or in #💰〕token
So far in 2 months I’m up 5k off 1k investment… I really wish I could put so much more.
Did you guys use the flexible system or the blocked one ? Concerning the pool on the website ?
Ok ok not afraid at all ? haha
Ok and locked for one year then I presume ? Right ? So tempting for me right now but still afraid to buy at the current price :S
Yeah, I locked up for a year a bit over two months ago. Currently showing 4x my initial investment. I'll personally be putting some more in a one year lock soon. Obviously it is ultimately your decision to make.
Ok but you didn't buy at this price right ? You bought around 400 $ ?
First buy was at like $320 for me, I think? I've got no problem buying and staking more at this price though - planning on it.
Can anyone tell me how much in fees it would be if I wanted to add $200 to the higher apy pool?
Probably pretty close to 200$ honestly. There are a lot of transactions involved and it costs a lot of gas. You could maybe get it down to 150 if you catch low prices. Imo, it’s not worth staking 200$
Ok thank you!
I want to stake in Ilv in your opinion what’s the best amount to start staking (( I know I know it’s not financial advice
At LEAST 1 ILV if not more. NFA
If I were to invest, to fully be worth it, I wouldn't enter with anything under 2-3 ILV for ILV pool and less than $5k for SLP
🤣🤣👌
I’d go by that @swift mulch
The dollar to my current is soo expensive I hat Africa
Ahh yes it’s fun being poor 🙃 guess no staking for me 😂
you are still GMI even if you don't stake. You can always use ETH in the game and make money without exposure to the tokenomics
Is there a tutorial on how to stake ILV?
hey !
Did someone have made the math to know at wich point (amount $ in slp pool) it would be more interesting to :
- take silv (instant instead of waiting 12 month
- sell them to buy ilv and eth
- add them to the slp pool.
not sure someone is crazy enough to make a sheet calculating it with for exemple a "70$ gas fee"
🙂
yes. Check the pinned messages 🙂
Thank you
😩buy my NFT PLEASE 🤣
you can search #🎨〕community-content to see if anyone has made a vid for it, Personally doubt it though. You still need a great chunk of sILV to sell half price to be worth staking back in SLP
yep, also will change over time with the apy dropping.
I think there is a point where the revenu from pool > loosing half value
also I've probably watched almost all comunity content and nothing about it 😉
well the more ILV you hold the better as RevDis will take the number into account. And the sILV pool now is mostly live for the Land Sale. I suspect it ot tank hard after it as the game might not come out until end of March and sILV will be pretty useless till then.
Same
can you elaborate on the RevDis will take the amount of ILV you hold? for what purpose they will take it in acc? thanks bro
!revdis I believe this can help you.
RevDis is only paid out for staked ILV not for ILV hold in wallets.
brilliant guys. thank you for being very helpful!
would SLP being taken into consideration or just ILV staked?
For RevDis only the actual amount of ILV within the LP pool counts
Does stakers get some of RevDiv?
Only staked tokens are eligible for revdis.
As it says here, revdis goes to staked, ilv, so yes: #🥩〕staking message
It was supposed to say stakers of LP***
Yes, people with staked SLP get RevDis based on the ILV portion of their stake.
But the apy is so insane i added some more. Moon next? 🚀
I only hold ETH, BTC, LUNA, ILV
Whats that? like 20 ILV rewards per day?
I assume you arent an insane person and some of those are staked flexible?
about 3.4 pr day now i belive
The most is flex! I belive 2.4(1 yr) and 7.6 is locked (3 months)
Well congrats on your profits man, I wish I had gotten in early enough to stack up that much SLP.
Now that's impressive
Haha wow! 🐋
If U stake 3000$ right now how much do you think you can make in 4weeks
about 400 usd
But the fees to stake and unstake will be more than 400 usd
Ty! Just wanted to share my faith in this project! Still very early
Wow thanks
make sure later you don't dump on us haha 😄
i am going to sell.....When we flip Axie Infinity
So soon?
hmmm....guess you'll be exiting pretty soon then.
im stacking 3.7k and I make 24usd a day
If its soooo soon, i probably wont sell any.
is axie still around? o.O
I joined with 5k AUD total. After 3 months of staking in L.P. pool it's 50 now.
5k aud is around 3.6k usd so around that amount
if not sooooo soon, then probably next year or a year after that. But I believe with YF ending, RevDis might get even better as players can only use ETH (that is if council doesn't add sILV as an option to claim sILV as RevDis)
nICE!
ILV looks so well made compared to everything else. Cant understand why its so cheap. But i guess Btc might be to blame. EOY ILV atleast top 100 coin
ILV cheap and Doge and Shib top 50. Well, the market has a funny way of playing with our sentiments. lol
50k?
is there any way to move my staked ILV to a different wallet if its locked up?
When V2 staking arrives and your tokens unlock.
do you advise staking flexible or fixed for ilv core pool.
Totally up to you. Do you think you will need to sell your initial investment? Locking provides additional token weight that applies to both current YF rewards as well as future RevDis.
tnx for answer
tnx
I got 50k in cash just sitting. Might as well start staking ILV
Hey guys having a hard time adding more Link to the flash pool. As you know, it’s requiring me to first claim the existing rewards in the pool. When I attempt to to do that, it automatically claims the rewards in I have in the standard ILV pool not the LINK pool. I have tried multiple times claim the ILV in the LINK pool and it keeps claiming the ILV pool. Any body come across this before or have experience with the issue?
You won't regret it! But DYOR first
I have and love what I have read. Only concern is I have never staked before so understanding all this has been tricky for me
If you have any questions ask here. There are a lot of experts in this room!
can anyone briefly explain the difference between claim ILV and claim sILV, or where i can read about it! thanks
Will there be future RevDis when you choose flexible?
Rev dis applies to all staking as far as it reads.
But if your in the LP pool only the ILV portion not the ETH 1/2, I believe. And also anything that is re-staked
Dont think so as we want people to be locked in for a minimum of a week or a month, thats the consensus atm
i dont think flexible gets it, might be wrong
Interesting, I wasn’t aware of that part. Good to know
Currently its set up for flexible to get revdis, a lot of people are wanting to not give it to flexible to prevent people from buying just to get revdis from large events like land sales and selling off after. So we will see what version of the V2 staking proposal gets put through, We wont know till then.
Any form of staked ILV gets RevDis. The token weight differs though. But as @brisk surge said, any form of future proposal might change it so only locked stake would get it.
Awesome. Thanks, I was thinking the same from what I read but this clears it up
So I put a big chunk of money into SLP pool thinking I could withdraw rewards in sILV for the value of ILV. Obviously I was wrong.
What would you do from here to maximize liquid returns?
If you want liquidity you'll need to withdraw rewards in sILV, ILV rewards will be locked for 1 year after claiming currently

Bumping this if anyone has any thoughts.
Wait for sILV to double
Oof
Buy more ILV stake it for ILV lock for 52wk
Most people don’t want to have that kind of lock going on
What kind of lame von neumann enthusiast are u? Stake for the max always
Fair enough, but I just make so much money so quickly that I want to use in the now lol
also why is this so off https://nomics.com/assets/silv-escrowed-illuvium
Looks about right, what do you see "off" there?
when I go to sushi swap it is showing it a $302
Might be low liquidity on Sushi, or just no one using Sushi because it had no liquidity for quite a while
ah thanks
Sushi is showing me 1 ETH = .9 sILV right now. Seems steep xD
its correct again now just changed for me
Yeah all my locks are 52wk. I don’t see why not, really
Hi… I have a question… when I claim from staking. I need to vasting my tokens for a year and after that year I will receive a doubling of my vasting tokens right?
When you claim rewards as ILV, they take 12 months to vest. During that period, they are staked in the Core ILV Pool and generate their own rewards. They do not double at any point. If you're referring to the token weight, that dictates what portion of the rewards allocated to the pool they recieve. Tokens staked at a weight of 2 recieve twice the rewards of tokens staked at a weight of 1.
Ahhh okay… thx for answers
does anyone know if we can change the staking address to a new eth address and continue the staking?
If you stake from a different address it will be a separate stake I think.
Hi, I would like to winthdraw my ILV since the locked time has surpassed, How do I go into re-staking it? Do I have to claim the rewards first? and is there fees?
You pay gas for every transaction. Why would you unstake it to restake?
I didn't know what I was doing then, and only staked it for a short period
so with my contracts all being locked in staking ILV & SLP it is impossible for me to transfer the current eth address to a new eth address, correct?
You'd have a transaction to unstake it, and you'd have to claim your rewards as part of that transaction. You could then restake it at whatever weight you wanted to.
but only once my 12 month staking period is over?
Currently yes, it is impossible to swap a locked stake to a new ETH wallet. It may be possible to swap in v2.
ok thats good news it may be a option
You'd have to wait for unlock, migrate the stake to v2, and then swap it to a new address though. This is as per the original IIP for v2 staking, which can be found in the pins. Note we are waiting for an updated v2 staking IIP.
Will it be cheaper to do staking/claiming with V2?
wanting to get a ledger wallet so would be helpful if we can transfer staked positions to new addresses
Check the pins for the v2 staking proposal, one of the primary aims of v2 is gas optimizations for staking/claiming.
i’ve got $1000 in rewards from $2000 should i claim it, and put money back in when IlV goes lower or hold it.
just seekin some opinions
Can you add liquidity to sushi on mobile? I can input my ETH and it shows the equivalent ILV, but no button to execute the transaction. My wallet is connected
I don't think you can
Well then. Another question for you. How do I do the matching? I'm still only in ILV core pool. So if I want 3 ETH worth, do I put 1.5 into Sushi paring with ILV to get my SLP, or just the whole 3?
To provide liquidity, you add equal parts Eth / Ilv to the pool on Sushi (based on $ value). This will give you SLP tokens in exchange, which you then stake on the Illuvium website.
Hi, sorry if this question has already been asked. Is it possible to claim ILV rewards in ILV pool, ILV/SLP pool and LINK flash pool in a single process/ transaction? Or do I need to complete three separate claims?
Shit ain’t going lower
Hey guys is this the link for Sushi Liquidity Pool : https://app.sushi.com/add/ETH/0x767FE9EDC9E0dF98E07454847909b5E959D7ca0E ?
I got it from the Illuvium Academy vid on youtube
Can I restake my rewards? is it better to choose my rewards in ILV or SILV
yes it is bruv
ILV if you have faith in the game living 1 years sILV if you want a payout.
wym payout? Isn’t if for in game use?
if I staked for in the LP for 6 weeks and now it is finished. Do I need to withdraw the LP token and then restake to receive further rewards (and incur the eth fees) or is it automatically roll over to LP staking without lock period
or do I have to claim the rewards first and then restake or what?
Alot of us assumed that the game would be released by December, I only staked for 3 months
you could also trade it for eth on unicorn swap
or use in game'
So if I have vested ILV, I can still claim sILV once the game begins? So it can not be used for the land sale?
Yes if you stake you claim your rewards as sILV or ILV up to you.
@celest ingot might be better to ask your questions here sir
I have it locked for 1 year, but i can still withdraw in sILV?
yup, your choice if you want to claim reward as ilv or silv - silv in instantly unlocked. ilv will be locked for 1 yr automatically
why can't you just claim the LP rewards? I don't wan to claim the ilv reward as well as LP and be forced to pay for 2 separate transactions everytime I want to claim the LP rewards. They are 2 separate staking pools and therefore to unstake the LP token you automatically have to pay double gas fees? And yeah I am waiting for a moderator and its a total piss take that a project with half a billion dollar MC doesnt have a moderator available to explain or respond in any competent manner??
How much are the fees for the ILV Pool?
what do you mean ? the gas fees
LP is provided by sushi and therefore cant be paid out also thats how staking to a liquidity pool generally works otherwise there would be no benefit of staking for the project
yes the gas fees? like how much would be a good amount to put in/how much are the average gas fees?
have you posted in ask us anything they usually respond in like 20 min or less
what pool? average for main is around 60-90 and for other SLP 100-180. You would need to put in at least around 3k for it to be forth your while I've been told
about $60 atm
but it changes by the second
ok cool thanks just trying to figure all the numbers out hahah
also very much depends on how long you stake for
I was assuming 52 week lockup
Is it possible to claim ILV rewards in ILV pool, ILV/SLP pool and LINK flash pool in a single process/ transaction? Or do I need to complete three separate claims?
I think the staking reward reduces by about 3% per week or more
that is factored in
and in a years time the gas might be a lot less
Ive been happy with staking so far except for the claiming of rewards that seems to force you to make 2 seperate transactions if you want to claim your LP rewards
which is quite ridiculous really
how often do you claim?
whatever you do don't stake in the LP for 6 weeks. The gains you get are less than all the gas fees incurred
first time after 6 weeks today and Ive come across this ridiculous issue which seems like a bug to me
Its not a bug its just generally when providing liquidity people usually stake for longer and also eth is stupid and cant handle people using it
yeah but why do they make you claim your ilv rewards first and then yoru LP rewards as 2 sperarate transactions
in other words you can;t just claim your LP rewards separately. It seems like a bug to me since really the 2 pools are separate entities
and whats really annoying is there are no moderators to discuss the issue with here
as far as I understood this issue has been aknowledged and the staking proposal v2 is adressing this #809220563397902346 message
from the proposal pdf:
„Rewards Claiming
Users will no longer be required to claim on every stake or unstake function. This selection will only be required when claiming rewards, which can now be done for all pools in a single transaction. Users will also be able to unstake all unlocked tokens in a single transaction.“
Depends on how much you put in. Gas is based on the GWEI at the time of your staking and claiming. If you put in say 2 SLP worth, im sure the 6 weeks would be more than enough gains to counter the gas fees but of course, its way better if its longer.
Cheers
Hi, hi have unstaked my sushi LP from the staking pool. i have gotten the SLP in my metamask wallet. Question is how do i swap the SLP back to ETH or ILV? Any help?
Go back to sushi pool pair, go to liquidity section, once you're there click in remove and then type in 100% for the amount you want to take out
It'll ask you to pay a gas fee to burn your slp tokens in exchange for your ILV/ETH
oh i see thanks for help mate. cheers
Anytime
hello when stake v2 probably launch?
Have you checked the pins? It’s been a thing to have two transactions to claim from SLP pool from the very beginning. However there is hope for a proposal the implement v2 staking which will help reduce tx fees in general.
We await official proposal and council approval to know more
ok let's wait then
Hi guys would anyone be able to help me with Staking for ILV please 🙂
Hey. What can I do you for? 🙂
Who can make an official proposal?
https://github.com/IlluviumGame/IIPs/blob/master/iips/iip-1.md
I believe anyone can author a proposal.
But head on over to the #809220563397902346 channel and check out the pinned posts
Hey guys, when I claim ILV on the rewards what happens to the claim ILV, does it goes to the wallet or it goes to the staking again ?
Locked for 12 months I believe. During this time they will also earn rewards. Someone correct me if I'm wrong 💀
I concur
If claimed in form of ILV. Compounding happens AFTER the claim. Just wanted to add 🙂
And claiming in sILV can be used within the game immediately, yes?
Yep. U claim sILV, it is immediately released to your wallet.
Happy days. Hours of reading is paying off 😅
Haven't read so much since school - 12 years ago lol
Haha welcome to ILV Academy 😎
So if it is locked 12 months and i claim ilv on slp pool
Does it conpound automaticly?
you can check your rewards tab on the dashboard and re-stake periodically
If you claim ILV it will automatically be added to the ILV Core pool locked for 12 months. It will also receive the APY from that pool
strategy is to claim every 15 days to maximize gains and to minimize gas fees
Hey guys. New here. With the staking. If my initial stake is locked in for 12 months how do I take my apy if I don’t want it to keep locking in for 12 months and compounding?
Sorry if that’s a dumb question or not explained right?
Are you referring to your rewards vesting? You can't bypass ILV taking 12 months to vest from when you claim. You could claim rewards as sILV to sell on secondary markets though.
Yea I’m following along now. Ilv has to lock in and compound. Silv I could sell on secondary market Or convert?
Yea that makes sense. Thanks mate.
You can't convert sILV, but you CAN sell it. Note that it goes for less than ILV price on secondary markets.
What happens with tax when you sell it if you have made it as a reward?
Again apologies these are no doubt noob questions. I appreciate all answers
I won't touch tax considerations with an 11 foot Tiktalik. Log all your transactions and consult a financial adviser 😛
Varies so much person to person and country to country.
Fucking tax
Thank you for your answers. I’m about to put up my ETH on celcius. Take out a loan and buy more ilv and stake on metamask. Then pay off the loan with my vesting rewards. That’s what I’m thinking and after your explanation I think I can do that and make money for jam.
Big 🧠
Depends on the ammount staked surely? Pointless paying more for gas fees than the actual rewards
Hi guys, everyone.
Such a question, I first got 14,000% for 2 months
, today I decided to catch another $ 17,000 for a year
, damn, and he combined them
, it turns out my steak, which was updated to 12 for 2 months?
Your stakes should be seperate - Check the "Vesting" tab.
Also, please don't post questions in multiple channels, all channels here are active and we WILL answer your question 😄
Hi! How you you guys check the price of LP Tokens?
I have been using Zerion, but it was been very laggy and incorrect the last week or so
ILV Token: 0x767fe9edc9e0df98e07454847909b5e959d7ca0e
ETH/ILV SLP Token: 0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda
sILV Token: 0x398aea1c9ceb7de800284bb399a15e0efe5a9ec2
Oh worked now ty. I tried on my mobile and its just loading forever
Yeah sometimes just refresh the site or open a new tab.
But i have noticed that the ILV price is always lower
Same. I don’t know what it used but it’s always a few % lower.
is locked ILV staking compounding while locked?
Only if you claim the rewards
Hey guys I did a withdrawal of my silv it is in my Coinbase account but how can I transfer it for money?
I think you can sell it on uniswap
About to stake for the first time. New to this. Very exciting.
I’m not sure Coinbase supports Silv yet…. If it dosent snd you want money some people convert a token to USDC and withdraw that through Coinbase. But I’m not sure I’m understanding the question
This was also my first time staking and I agree it is thrilling
You can swap it on Uniswap or Sushiswap at lesser value than ILV. Go to either app. Connect your wallet (I do not use Coinbase but I do see an option to connect a Coinbase wallet on both sites). Click on "Select a token" and enter the sILV contract address 0x398aea1c9ceb7de800284bb399a15e0efe5a9ec2. Now that you have the right pairings, make sure your buy/sell direction is right. Meaning if you want to sell sILV to get ETH, click the arrow between the boxes so sILV sits above ETH. Enter the amount you want to sell and hit swap. Approve the gas fees. Then sit back and let the magic happen.
Cant stake.. Help?
Done.. But dang spent 0.15 eth for 3 attempts until the staking works :( insane
If ILV moons is that bad for the SLP holders 😄
As long as you plan on staking SLP for at least 1 month you honestly don’t need to worry about impermanent loss at all. I feel like people make it sound like a way bigger deal than it actually is
If it moons compared to ETH, it causes more IL. However, it also increases the value of their ILV rewards.
Like if ILV double and eth stayed flat you’re looking at 6% IL but you’re making 6% APY a week with SLP
I agree. Its also not a big deal in my mind when I am dealing with 2 solid tokens. I believe in both ETH and ILV so it doesn't matter to me I get more of one over the other in the long run.
But if I was dealing with ETH and SuckCoin......well, bit more of a concern.
Haha exactly how I feel. Been staking SLP since July so I’ve seen ILV 6x compared to eth 2x and still wayyyyyy ahead being in SLP than holding 100% ILV
I have got 0.2 ILV not worth it to pay fees from exchange to staking, right?
Correct, wait till your bag is bigger
thanks
once the current lock for ILV v1 stakers expires, will they be able to lock in once again for the discounted 2.0 1-year weight boost? or will they become on an even playing field with new v2 stakers to illuvium?
V2 proposal rn suggests that when they unlock, you need to migrate to V2 if you want YF rewards + RevDis with the same weight and tokens being unlocked (however with the new proposal all might change). For new stakers, getting a 2X weight will require them to lock their tokens for 2 years.
Thank god the SLP pool growth took a breather
Enjoy it while it lasts, Im thinking the trailer is gonna have a lot of new money flowing in and the APY is gonna get rekt.
Maybe so. My fear is when tokens start unlocking on Feb then APY is going to get destroyed.
Or APY will probably stay the same if ILV is pumping. The real rewards will suffer though.
But even if that happens then I’ll still have more ILV than I could have purchased myself.
Good Evening or Morning or Afternoon to the Amazing Waifus! I hope you can quickly help me. I staked ILV a few weeks ago. Unable to restake, unless i pick up rewards, but they are too small due to gas fees. I was hoping then to instead stake Sushi LP, but system wont update with my ILV and ETH. Any thoughts?
I mean after the migration to v2, lets say they unlock july next year, can you re-lock cheaply?
Hey brother. I don’t think there is a way to add to your stake without claiming rewards.
Due to the current proposal, no locking is needed what so ever. Next proposal, might change it.
Thanks Mate. Kinda sucks, because I place a small amount to test the mechanics.. 😦 now I can input further...
Hey. Staking new tokens or withdrawing your already staked ones will require you to claim your rewards.
If the amount is really small you could just start a new stake with a fresh wallet.
Take a look at a staking calculator and see if it makes sense to pay the gas fee to make the stake.
That’s the big brain answer
Can I use a new account within my Meta Mask?
Thanks, I merely trying to place my real stake amount. I have a small 2 ILV and hoping to place 10 ILV. My reward is 0.5 ILV, which gas fees would permit claiming.
Super small 0.5 ILV reward, as I was testing with 2 ILV
I do think waiting for cheap gas or starting a new wallet stake is the best choice.
I dont use metamask so unfortunately I cant help you with that.
If you can find gas around 50gwei I would say the benefit of your staking rewards will probably make up for wasting a little gas.
I think you could stake SLP without having to claim the ILV pool though. You get the SLP from adding liquidity on sushiswap for the ILV/ETH pair, Then take that token and stake it on the website.
Thank you so much Scoot. I tried Sushi LP, but it wouldn't work. I will try to get some low gwei. Sucks 🙂 but that's life!
any other thoughts? I am surprised to be first with this issue.
No unfortunately they are aware of these issues and are working to improve them in v2 staking
Theres a staking tutorial video in the pins you might want to check out. It will go through the process of staking and it might help you figure out the SLP thing. Otherwise yeah we all suffer with this crazy gas right now.
Thanks ! I did review vid, which it mentioned restaking 😛 LOL
Guys, how much in your opinion would be a minimum investment for staking? Pardon for newbie question 😌
Not sure if this is the right channel to ask. What is the APY and what does that mean in the core staking pool? Today I finally got around to purchase ILV and staked in the core pool but had to use a Youtube video to do it. In that video the APY is twice as high as it is now.
I could be wrong. But from what I understand the more people that enter the staking the more the pie is divided
True
Oh yes, that does make sense. Will be happy with any rewards I get from my small investment.
hi
In it for the long run! Just waiting for the release of the game to get stuck in 😄😄

Hello guys, i am planning to enter staking. I was thinking to lock my ILV in staking at least untill the game launches (march more or less?). In this way the % of rewards goes up a little right? Would that be good?
Do i have to get ILV coins on my metamask for example to start staking?
I'm not clear on what your question is exactly.
Staking currently offers yield rewards which are distributed over a 3 year time period. Revenue distributions will also be rewarded starting with the land sale and when the game is released. You can lock your stake for as long as you're comfortable, from flexible (unlocked) to 52 weeks (1 year). You will receive a higher token weight and higher yield APY the longer you stake to offset the risk.
Yes, you require ILV in your metamask wallet to stake if you plan on staking in the ILV core pool. If you want to add liquidty in the SLP core pool you will require SLP.

The game looks dope and ILV a great opportunity and i'd like to get the most out of it !
You're still extremely early. We just recently hit a 500M marketcap and many people, myself included, see it becoming a multi-billion MC. Land sale will happen soon and the game is yet to release.

If only binance would let me buy ILV ahahah
is it due to the region that you are in?
If so crypto.com is always another option
@copper dawn thanks for everything!
the order is complete just in part i dont get it :/
The current list of places to buy from has been growing. I expect it to be listed on many more exchanges over the following year.
Glad to help. The order to buy ILV? Or stake ILV? The video I linked shows you how to buy and stake ILV.
It's all okay i managed to complete it! Gonna stake my ILVs soon 😉
btw is staking taxable if its locked? i mean the money is technically not yours until the vesting period is over
In liquidity pools doesn’t your slp value get determined by one half of ILV and half ETH price. So if one goes up it is sold to equal out with the other while the other is bought?
How much a gas fee of 50 gwei is in dollar amounts?
Nice!
fair enough but I was wondering what the effect of a hypothetical stagnant ETH and a growing ILV would be, but I did the math and its fine
I already have 30k in I am making more than my part time job so I'm good, but I like to plan for the worst just in case (the worst is still great)
lmao
hey guys new here. just started staking a couple days ago. is there anything i should know about staking ILV vs. sILV that i may have overlooked
Can i ask how often the staking rewards are assigned?
There are some good google docs in the pins that help with estimating fees and how frequently you should claim for optimal compounding if you havn't checked those out yet.
I think every block, About every 15 seconds.
At least it would come with a 2x in price
true
Dont think itll be 300 apy tho, since the price movement will mitigate the increased amount of stakers
but yes we will get less ilv rewards
Hello guys if i buy silv for buy land and i miss the land sale, can i change back my silv with eth or ilv ?
How are yall planning on doing your taxes with the staking
i dont really know how it all works with the taxes
not tax advice, def suggest hiring a CPA but in general you would claim income on the market value of the $ILV on the day vesting unlocks. Don’t have to report income that’s locked up
thats cool thanks mate
Say I have 1 coin staked with a weight of 2.00. Does that mean I get double the coins I invested?
Not quite. It means that your token is receiving rewards with 2x weight. So, it is still just 1 token, but it receives rewards as if it were 2.
Thank You. Are there staking calculators available?
Yep! Check the pinned messages for this channel
@autumn cloak Where are pins. New to discord 😅
Top right on desktop, or if on mobile swipe left. Looks like a push pin
I staked during the incorrect APY values. Is there anything you guys are doing for that?
are there any plans on allowing people to part claim ILV/part claim sILV from the staking rewards?
not that I am aware of; you just have to decide in advance what you want to claim and when.
the bug was only on UI
where is a good place to buy sILV?

Anyone know how the SLP APY works? If the pool doubles from 300 million to 600 does the APY halve?
I made $175 today from staking the token as well. I’ll never unstake, but its fun to see
Hey, did they remove MetaMask as an option for wallet?
No, are you trying to log in on mobile? For some reason the MM icon doesn't show on mobile, but you can use walletconnect and then choose MM
Moving some funds over from Avalanche. Avalanche bridge wants to charge me $38 to bridge dai to ethereum network. is there a cheaper way?
What is a good slippage to set when buying sILV? im not getting a lot but the auto slippage is not working
Do anyone know how much gas fees it costs to claim rewards right now?
is it simply the current gas of 94 or it is more than that?
I am not entirely sure how to calculate it, but you could just click claim on the ILV website, the txn will pop up in your wallet and you should be able to see how much it will charge for the txn. If it seems good to you, you can approve, and if it is too much you can reject. I've done this a few times when gas was crazy high in like the 2000's just cause I was curious how much I'd be spending if I wanted to claim at that time
may i have a link to check the impermanent lost SLP that i stake?
apy.vision
thank you
so if i started staking sILV already, can i add more or would i have to wait to claim my currently staked
How I stake illuv
yes you can add more, but you have to pay attention to the gas cost

Hello guys when i try to stake my tokens in the slp pool i get a warning icon
Most try to claim rewards every 2-4 weeks to save gas transaction fees. If you’re adding to your stake, Version 1 right now makes you claim your rewards and that’s extra gas. Version 2 will do away with that in a few weeks
Can someone dm me i need help with the slp staking ?
technically, sILV is the in game token. You stake ILV the main token

You have Eth for gas in the wallet as well?
i have 0.36 eth for gas. hope thats enough
A message tell me to claim the existing reward but when i do it, i get the same warning icon
I would like to send you a sreenshot but i cant in this channel
You just levelled up, so you may be able to now?
Using MetaMask? Do you have any pending transactions that need approval?
no
Hmmm... well, I'm not exactly a tech support pro - those were the easy answers to check. Hope someone else is better able to assist.
Thanks for trying. I hope someone can answer
just making sure i have this correct... Staking rewards will be over and done about 3 years after they started.
RevDis will be around forever
Does anyone know if the SLP tracker on etherscan is accurate? Maybe I math wrong, but the sum is less than my $10k stake from 4 days ago (yet it's pumped since)
so currently, revdis will only be given for ILV that is staked. so once staking is over, how will revdis work?
Rewards will end but token is still locked/staked, for revdis and voting, etc
You went to the staking tab and clicked locked stake on the SLP pool? Did the pop up to set the duration of the stake come out?
i click locked and max duration
But i have the same warning icon when i want to claim my rewards
Am I right in assuming the SLP is riskier than the regular ILV pool?
Yes. Need to learn about impermanent loss and be ok with that risk
Hopefully some of the mods know the answer to this if not your best bet is to talk to @hexed bough
When you try and stake does it pop up in your wallet? that warning you sent us a pic of may just be a "warning you are about to stake are you sure" kind of warning. I don't remember tho from when I staked
No its not just a warning. Nothing happened when i staked
Ah not sure then. Have you tried just going through the process again? Past that I am not sure what I would do...
Thanks i will try to contact him
Hi, the token weight will continue to exist even after the YF stop at 2024?
No, the staking will be for revenue distribution only i believe.
is there a timeline for staking 2.0 ?
What is the value of a Sushi LP (SLP)? It looks as though in Etherscan its around 3k and been quite steady for a while. Given price rise in both ETH &ILV, I would have thought it would be worth more but am I missing something with this calculation?

revdis goes only to the ILV pool or also the sushiswap pool?
All staked ILV gets RevDis. Your SLP also gets it, but the ILV part, not the ETH part.
will it be possible in the future to stake without paying gas fees
There will always be a fee, v2 should reduce the fees and eth v2 might make them almost non existent
Lol you pinned it anyways.
Yeah. 😄
It def is. Thx for contributing brother 🙂
For staking would I need to pay gas fees to start and to restake ?
Correct
Check this community made document. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-yorrLEO7051B8ELI7eBtAOohYn8DME4peMPavxcUuw/edit?usp=sharing
Also is the apr for staking the same or does it depend on how many coins are being staked?
Is varied depending on how much is staked and the amount of ILV tokens being distributed goes down 3% every two weeks.
Thanks I think I’ll buy some soon and stake!
!buy
We recommend buying ILV either on Sushi (Decentralized Exchange) or Binance (Centralized Exchange)
Sushi : https://app.sushi.com/swap?inputCurrency=ETH&outputCurrency=0x767fe9edc9e0df98e07454847909b5e959d7ca0e
Binance: https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ILV_USDT
Trading pairs available: ILV/BTC, ILV/BNB, ILV/BUSD and ILV/USDT
If you acquire your ILV on Sushi, make sure to add the ILV token to your wallet. You can find the contract address at https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/illuvium and in the case of MetaMask, you can just click on the Fox next to the contract address to add the token.
Here is a video that goes into detail how to buy ILV and stake it afterwards: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6YugU4zZr4
!staking
When holding ILV, staking is a way to gain additional rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution. The process for staking is the following:
- You acquire either some ILV or some Sushi LP tokens
- You go to: https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/core
- You enter the right pool according to the tokens you acquired
- You decide whether to lock your deposit or not (if locked, you will receive more rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution, but you cannot withdraw your deposit until the chosen locking period is over)
- After approving the contract (if this is your first interaction with it) you confirm the staking of the desired tokens
You can find an in-depth video for staking here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6YugU4zZr4&t=1s
Check the pins in here if you want more info. Vetemor and deraji have some excellent YouTube videos as well
I finally found my staking problem. I installed my metamask on Brave instead of Chrome. It was a navigator problem. Thanks to everyone who tried to help me ! You are kind
@steady trellis you sir are a boss
What is a good amount to start staking?
gas fee to stake $60 - $150+++ depending on the network on the time you stake. similar gas fee to take out as ILV after vesting for twelve months so unless you make $300+ from the reward, it is not worth it. Just my personal opinion.
Thanks
@rotund isle you can try using this to calculate estimate amount
Oh thank you so much will take a loook
@rotund isle this one also
I have around 4 ILV staked does 0.1 - 0.2 ILV a month sound correct? Cause it feels like it should be higher.
Following^^^
APY for ILV staking is at around 48% for a 12 month lock so 0.14ish sounds about right
impermanent loss makes SLP staking worth it? what do you guys think
Question about claiming the stakes. If I claim my stake and it restakes automatically, does it reset teh 12months? or is it staked for the same time as the original?
I decided to go into SLP, because even if there is impremanent loss, you'll end up holding ETH. Which is an awesome investments on it's own.
the amount you claimed will start its 365 day unlock
each claim is independent of the next
got it thank you, so the original stake unlocks before the claims
at 12 months will it be obvious that you can remove ?
thanks. I'm still wrapping my head around it. but I guess I'll be doing it for at least 2 months before I decide whether to move to ILV pool
on the vesting tab it will say "withdraw" instead of "locked"
ahhhh thanks so much for the tips, still a while away but just nice to know 🙂
When will yield farming end?
june 30th, 2024
I have a question on revDis. It says "revDis is paid out in the form of unlocked ILV" . does it mean it will not go through 12 month vesting similar to reward? as I am currently staking, will i get notify like how much about is given as revDis when it happens? Thanks in advance.
If I remember right it'll show up under the 'vesting' tab to claim via a 'withdraw' button.
What happens when yield farming ends? Sure, we'll still stake for RevDis but how about the staking rewards? Will it be gone completely? Also when ILV is swapped with sILV, will it "burn" the ILV and re-distribute those burnt ILV as yield farm rewards?
there are no staking rewards after yield farming ends
choosing sILV as a reward prevents the equivalent amount of ILV from ever being minted.
Not sure if I understand correctly but basically no more rewards (ILV or sILV) on yield farming end. So the only way to get sILV by that time is to swap ILV for sILV through IMX or smth?
sure, if there are no other methods of obtaining sILV introduced by then.
not having sILV anymore doesn't matter either, as you can just as easily use ETH for any in-game purchases
Ah, right. Got it. Somehow I'm thinking about burning ILV which confused me lol. Thanks.
Can anyone explain to me how the SLP pool works for dummies? And why’s everyone saying that there’s a downside of “impermanent loss”?
It is probably a good idea to watch a couple of videos on YouTube about impermanent loss.
Also binnace have a brief tutorial on how impermanent loss works
what is the recommended amount of money to invest and staking?
Will depend on your personal circumstances. For me personally it's every spare cent 😆. But due your own due diligence, understand the token and the tokenomics.
Hi all, I have a question as a defi ignorant is it possible to lose your coins in a liquidity pool? For example through a hacker attack? Has something like this already happened?
It's a risk that should be mostly mitigated by smart contract audits. However, the risk still exists, although most people consider it to be a relatively small risk. I'm not sure if this has ever happened before, I would think the most common/likely scenario would be the SC creator setting it up with a backdoor to remove funds.
btw i was wondering are we still in V1 of staking?
Yep. Hopefully we will see V2 before the end of the year
Yes. When V2 is out it'll be announced properly.
ok and one more question why does it show 0 balance when i click stake in sushi LP. Because the normal ILV pool shows my balance.
Do you have SLP tokens in your wallet from providing liquidity on SushiSwap?
oh do i need to do that in order for it to show
Ok I understand. Another stupid question. Do you know if this SLP pool has been audited in terms of security? I would love to stake (SLP) and I'm at the point where I'm like, "Should I jump, should I jump?"
Hi! Just want to ask if there is a minimum amount for staking? How much if there is?
Yes, the Sushi pool is for staking SLP tokens. Check pins in this channel for tutorials on how to do that if you haven't participated in a liquidity pool before.
ok thanks
No minimum as long as it justifies gas, otherwise you'll pay more for gas than actually profit
All our smartcontracts have been audited by Quantstamp. Thus far, I'm not aware of our SC's being compromised in any way.
Thanks!
So from your calculater...SLP is clearly the way to go
Many thanks 👍 👍
so as i understand i would first have to swap 50% of my ILV to eth then add liquidity in the sushi pool and then i can stake on the illuvium website
If you want to stake in SLP, you have to provide 50/50 ILV/Eth on Sushi. That will give you SLP tokens which you then take to the Illuvium site to stake. Keep in mind all of those trx will require Eth to pay gas as well. Can add up to quite a bit if gas is high.
ok i understand. Btw are you a staker
Hi! 2 months ago i did 12 month staking, but now i want to cancel the staking. Is It posible? Even i lose my rewards?
no
Why do you want to cancel it?
is there anything being done for the people that staked during the incorrect APY @mint cave
It was never an incorrect APY just the UI not accounting for the amount of ILV rewards going down by 3% every two weeks.
Because i think in one year Will be on a bear market and the price Will be much lower than in 2 or 3 months
Tyy
Which will give me the most reward ILV in the long run, staking ILV or staking SLP?
SLP always gives more rewards depending on the ILV you have in it. SLP integrates 80% of the total rewards. It also depends on your funds cuz paying lots of gas vs making ILV for rewards should be ok, otherwise paying tons of gas would not be profitable
But gas will be cheaper in the future 😛
The future is a WHEN thing. 🙂 no date
totally agree. I think I'll take the risk that within 12 months, we'd have that figured out 🙂
sure. As long as you are happy with your investment, you are GMI 🙂
Just wanted to say thanks for this - super helpful
so there is normal ILV staking, can anyone explain me about ingame economy distribution? i heard that any profit from illuvium will go back to the stakers ? how is that working any article ?
!revdis you mean this?
The tokenomics of this DAO include a 100% revenue distribution (could be subject to change - DAO governance). This means that any kind of revenue generated through sales or in-game revenue is distributed back to holders of staked ILV. The same max supply of 10 Million ILV will be used for this purpose regardless of how many games the DAO develops.
Revenue distribution is paid out in the form of unlocked ILV and the payout is done multiple times a week without a fixed schedule. Before paying out revenue distribution, the vault converts ETH spent in-game into ILV by buying it off the market which puts buying pressure on the ILV token and thus supports its price development.
yes excatly thanks! so this one is not live yet right ? will be live once game is released?
Yep. It will be live after the implementation of Staking V2 🙂
when is staking V2 set to be ready and how will that affect tokens with many months left on their original stake?
When V2 is out, it will be announced properly and meanwhile you can follow it in #809220563397902346 to read the ideas. But whatever the ideas, council has to approve it to be implemented. It will not affect the lock tokens. It will only affect the new stakes and unlocked ones. 🙂
great thanks man. really like reading on governance. this is set up so wonderfully
Don't mention it. ask whatever is on your mind 🙂
Does the SLP get rev dis?
The ILV part of it, yeah
Cool thanks
hey guys, I'm planning to buy some ILV to stake, is that a good choice right now?
This is totally your choice as no one can give you Financial Advice. If you believe in the project and know staking will get you to places, sure. I suggest reading these docs before taking any action:

beautiful. where can I get information on this v2 I'm hearing about?
You can find the proposal in pinned messages in #809220563397902346 but know that it's a bit out-dated and might change.
Cheers mate!
I watched the LINK flash pool grow immensely since its introduction in late September. Dreams of capturing that 3000%+ APY returns🧑🚀 🌚 🍾 Short lived it was, we are now at $116,074,012.98 (₿1839.04) TVL. Amazing, in less than a month we have accomplished so much going into this project. This is my first flash pool i'm in, any early birds 🐦 in the chat that might know if this LINK pool is the largest TVL flash pool to date?
See for yourself:
I thought they were low because they ended and some people havent claimed rewards yet.. No way SNX only got to $6,700
You're correct. The amounts listed in TVL of the previous flash pools as the current balances in those pools. So people still haven't withdrawn their tokens even though the pools are no longer active. It's their choice though 😄
nice haha. well either way, love LINK love ILV so this pool is where its at. I told a few friends about it and they got in as well
I'd like to apologize for providing wrong info. I'm kinda new here, but wanted to help out.
Lets say i stake for 20 weeks tho. Do i still get the apy that the 20 weeks provide after its unlocked? or do i get the flexible APY instead
Whatever weight you lock at, you will have it when it unlocks, unless you are required to migrate to V2 (that's uncharted territory )
thats dope!
Love to see a Neopets player in here!
Omg! First person to realize my username! FYI I’ve had this username for about 20 years. Fun fact, the Mr.Fuzzles and Mrs.Fuzzles cats in Stormwind in WOW are references to me 😆
If you like WOW, have you looked into Mirandus?
Nope but I’ll check it out! 👀
Feel free to DM me if you have any questions.
Legends walk among us. cool stuff
That's crazy haha. I was actually born a day after Neopets released and it has always been apart of my life. It's sick you actually have npcs named after you in WoW
Am I correct by saying that with 1000eur i should not start staking?
what do you mean
I tried to play with spreadsheet, and find that gas fees will eat me alive 😄 I just find out this project so trying to find an answe. What exactly I wanted to know if 1000 eur is to little to start staking?
in order to stake. you can use ILV in the ILV pool or you can do 1/2 ilv and 1/2 eth in the sushi LP pool. If you cant afford eth gas etc than maybe its not for you. really up to you. also theres a v2 model coming out soon where gas will be cheeper if you want to hold ilv until that comes up. all up to you
Probably not enough currently to justify the risk
i can afford gas fees, but like @brisk surge says i get a feeling that it is not worth currently 🙄 So I was wondering if you agree 😌
Hmmm. yea. I feel like he's correct. Im not sure what gas fees will be changing when V2 comes out. do you already hold ILV tokens?
No, not yet. Just getting this optimistic feeling about this game, so i am looking for a way to jump in 🙂
OK so to be honest. and im no pro for sure but I have been in crypto for about 5 years. theres always a nice juicy dip around the corner. I normally love buying when i see those massive corrections because you know that it will go back in time. could take a month could take 3 years. with that said. I absolutely loved this project when i saw it and i got in a little late as well. So its really up to you, if you think it's a 3-4 plus year hold and don't mind riding dips
Thank you for your views and good luck in the illuvium world 🙏
I will have a thought on what you said:)
come back any time.
Can sILV be parked somewhere to earn %%?
I think in land etc... things like that when they come out
I'd actually respectfully disagree with Brian's point, on the grounds that staking rewards will decrease over time. If you wait 3 years for a dip, Yield Farm will be finished. Even in 6 months, it will return appreciably less than it is currently.
So if you're looking to stake ILV and yield farm with it, I'd do so sooner than later, personally. Any dips in the token price in the near term should be offset by your YF rewards.
I'm not at all saying there won't be a small dip every now and then - there ALWAYS is some kind of dip, but if you wait years to buy, you WILL miss out on the majority of the YF benefits.
This is all assuming you're long on the project, and is not financial advice.
@cyan rampart Is definitely more experienced than me in this project and crypto as a whole so you should probably listen to it over mine.
I just look at it this way - our total staking rewards decrease by 3% every 2 weeks. A consequence of this is that by the end of the FIRST year of staking (out of 3), approximately half of the total rewards will be distributed.
If building the biggest possible ILV stack is your goal, staking the SLP ASAP is advisable IMO.
Yea, your 100% right. I wasn't thinking of it this way.
sILV cannot be staked for yield, no.
!silv
sILV is a substitute currency that can only be gained as yield when staking ILV.
The tradeoff for that is that sILV only can be used in-game and does not provide compounding in any form.
when claiming silv from the slp pool do u have to do 2 gas fees?
any SLP claim in any form requires 2 TX and therefore 2 gas
ok ty
@cyan rampart thank you for your view! With these limited resources (1k eur) you suggest staking slp or ilv?
I'd always stake SLP, with the caveat that you will have to be patient and watchful of gas prices.
which place do i swap my silv to eth
You can try Uniswap, but note that the sILV/ETH LP there is not officially supported - i.e. DYOR and pay attention to liquidity. It IS possible to overpay or get underpaid if there's low liquidity.
gas prices I understad why. But why do i need to be more patient with slp than ilv? 😅
is there an official proposal for staking v2 and was it passed?
There are more transactions with the SLP, and thus more gas spent.
- ETH to ILV 2) ETH + ILV to SLP 3) Staking
Hi all ,
Check the pins, that proposal is being revised currently, and it has not gone to a vote yet.
i would like to know how many token still in my LP, how to check it ?
In which LP exactly? Uniswap sILV/ETH? Sushi's ETH/ILV?
sorry , i mean Sushi LP. In two days i can take it out but i would like to know how much token still in.
You should be able to check how many tokens you have staked on the Illuvium website.
Yeah, I know how many LP Token , but it represent how many eth and how many ILV ? Understand what i mean ? Sorry for my poor english, but i think you cq understand me 😄
Oh, you're wondering about the composition of LP tokens?
yep
i have this but i am not sure if its right https://app.zerion.io/invest/asset/SLP-0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda
That looks right to me.
so if i understand , if i have 1 SLP token , I have in fact 0.452 eth and 2.38 ILV , looks right to you ? 🙂
Anyone tried converting ETH to SLP directly via zapper.io? Is it better fee-wise than doing the conventional way? (Swap half eth to ilv, then add liquidity via sushi)
Yeah, that should be correct.
Ok, thanks a lot @cyan rampart , my understanding is now better 😉
Zapper.fi? It looks like it's very cheap on gas. Suspiciously cheap. DYOR for sure, I'm not sure why an ETH > ILV > SLP txn would cost so little.
Esp. at 80-ish gwei gas.
Ah, yeah that one, zapper.fi. Alright. Will do a bit more research on this. Will stick to the conventional way in the meantime.
I was quoted less than a dollar in fees on a very small transaction (<$20)
Actually nevermind. The total cost in fees at current gas would be about $200. That's gotta be pretty comparable to doing it the convential way.
I don't think it's any cheaper or expensive than just doing it through Sushiswap.
I think it is just to provide a more user friendly experience with fewer steps.
Ah so technically they're the same, right? I haven't tried yet. Was about to add more to my SLP and just saw that zapper thingy. Anyway, thanks for trying it out.
Should be about the same. On the bright side, I found zapper.io, which is a laggy multiplayer snake variant.
Hah! Sorry about that.
No worries, I'm a gamer so I appreciated it haha... Was like "This doesn't look like any DEX I've ever seen... Oh well, may as well have a game."
Hi all, newb here, is there a safe place to sell sILV? Or in better just holding, Just to know. And thanks!
An "unofficial" liquidity pool was set up by members of the community on Uniswap. So while it's not officially backed by Illuvium, it's there and you can swap sILV for ETH just as you would with other tokens on that exchange (https://app.uniswap.org/#/swap)
Whether it's better for you to hold or not will be up to you and what your goals are! If you have plans to buy Illuvitars or Land for Illuvium: Zero, holding the sILV could be better as you'll be able to spend it at the full ILV price in those sales. Swapping it now will get you some more liquidity NOW, but earn you less as sILV is not valued at the same price as ILV on the secondary market.
!contract When on Uniswap, you'll want to copy and paste the sILV contract address (3rd one below) in order to find it on the exchange 🙂 @silent birch

What percentage do you get for staking
395 or 48 depending on the pool and it gos down 3% every 2 weeks. you can check in the staking section of the website as well for changes as the pool grows
why is the gas fees more than what it says on the website
they should be close. I always double check on ether scan
The listed "gas price" isn't necessarily the cost of a transaction.
Think of it like real gas. It might be 1.30/L, but a given trip costs you $20 in gas.
Similarly, the gas price is 60 or 70 gwei or whatever, but the transaction will cost you $50 or $60 depending on the complexity of that transaction.
Thank you very much!

When stacking and selecting "Locked" and doing 52 weeks. Its locked for 52 weeks and then becomes liquid after that correct? Or is it locked for 52 weeks after I request for it to be withdrawn?
The investment you put in is locked 52 weeks since you staking them, will be unlock automatically after 52 weeks.
The reward on the other hand require manually claimed, and 365 days will start vesting for that reward particularly. You can choose a good time when gas is low and good amount accumulated of the reward to claim them.
While the reward is vesting, it sit in the ILV pool and receive around 40% interest, work with compounding.
Okay, yep is what I thought it was Thanks!
You are welcome
is there a minimun to stake_
No
But you should consider the gas cost relative to how much you are staking and how much your returns on investment will be.
Hey guys I just tried to claim sushi pool rewards and set gas limit for ILV single side reward to be 40 but I never got the second metamask command for SLP rewards claim confirm screen. Is it gonna pop up once ILV core claim goes thru I guess?
You may have set your gas too low; gas is in the 90’s right now
Yes it seems like it but what I’m asking is when you don’t set your gas limit to be too low, you normally get two claim commands asking to confirm back to back first single side then sushi liquidity pool rewards. I didn’t get the second confirm command
Maybe your first didnt go through because u set the gas too low so was not accepted by the network
No transaction is in etherscan pending
Wait until tomorrow night / Saturday / Sunday when you should be able to catch gas at around 40
Yes hopefully it will go thru when it hits that low 😊 but my question was whether SLP claim confirm will automatically pop up on mm when the first pending claim goes thru
Is it possible to stake sILV?
Not that I'm aware of.
No, you can't. It's one of the reasons sILV is cheaper than ILV on secondary markets right now.
Are there any L2's that allow eth to ILV swaps?
gas fees on sushi/uniswap are so fucked....
This may be addressed somewhat in v2 proposal here?
#809220563397902346 message
Staking V2 will have no impact on the gas required to swap tokens on other apps, only the trx on the Illuvium site.
My bad, I was just thinking about gas for staking and claiming.
@next ruin revenue dis is unlocked and can be cashed out immediately right
yes
is everyone gona cash out in march and leave us holding our dicks XD
The unlock happens over the course of a year, so if people dump hard in March they are just devaluing their own investment.
Also if they do start cashing out and price dumps, its a good thing if revenue begins to pick up in Q2/Q3
Altho i think most of us will be surprised from how much the vault will pump ILV 👀
oh and one more question. Do you get more Revenue dis for locking your stake for longer
52 weeks max gives you weight of 2.0
yes
Ah got it so if u stake lock 12 mo then claim at end it’s about 2 years start to finish
you don't need to wait till end of 12 months to claim, You can claim quarterly or every 6 months. so if you claim after the first 3 months then you will get your reward in 3+12 months.
No, the (ILV) reward you claim stakes it’s self for 12 months.
You're correct, Ignore ^.
Well you're actually both right.
I have read that we can use ETH for in-game purchases. I have staked some ILV/ETH... and I have some ILV and ETH which I could stake... but if the game uses ETH..... wouldn't we be safer to keep some ETH and some sILV? Do we know what can be purchased with each of those? I'm just looking to buy land and things to help me progress through the game...
if you are 100% sure you want land.. then it may make sense to just buy sILV to take advantage of its value calculated at IVL as opposed to eth
last i saw it was on uniswap3... but i have not checked in 24 hours
!contract use the sILV contract to find it on uniswap or elsewhere
