Yeah, i also doubt this is correct, cus if it works only 120 days, why cap it with x3 at all, let it be whatever it can be for just 120 days, it's not a huge difference with those who doesn't have it. But if it is permanent at least for a stake created during 120 days of entrance and till the end of the Season, than x3 cap is logical, it's an appreciation of OG, but not too discriminating to newcomers.

In V3 at the end of the staked period you have selected do the you remain eligible for the Rev-Dis weight but your tokens are unlocked or do you have to re stake again.

Currently most of my tokens are eligible for Rev-Dis and are staked but unlocked

Yes, you can add your own liquidity to ETH/ILV and stake directly from the Illuvium staking page.

Aaaah, if they are still not up from the DNS attack, I would suggest waiting for things to be cleared and safe. Hopefully it will be up and running soon

1. • V2 will still receive Revdis. The only difference between V2 and V3 is the chain it's on, and the fact V3 will receive shard rewards, as well as Revdis. But if you would like to leave your funds on V2, they will also get revdis when it is distributed.
2. • Yes. If you wish to go from V2 > V3, you will need to withdraw, bridge and re-stake. Your V2 stakes will need to be unlocked before they can be moved though; if they are still in their lock window, you will need to wait

Also, if I withdraw the ILV will the OG bonus still apply (there will still be a record of it when I claim the OG bonus), or should I try to claim the OG bonus and then withdraw (I'm not sure if that's possible). How does that work. My bonus is 1.95 I think.

Yep, sounds like you are good to withdraw if you choose!
And yes, the snapshot was taken already for the OG bonus, so withdrawing from V2 will not reduce or negate your OG bonus! It's already calculated 🙂

As a quick rundown, you'll unstake your V2 stakes (or purchase fresh ILV alternatively) > Bridge to BASE using the bridge in the guide (https://staking.illuvium.io/bridge) > Simply Stake once you're on BASE and everything hit your wallet

A question I have an OG wallet which is diamond but I have a number of other wallets that are more like silver etc can I withdraw all of those staked ILV and bring them over to the wallet which is diamond and stake through that wallet an get the OG bonus. Is the system only looking at the wallet address so any ILV thats come from that get the Boost of that wallet. Hope that make sense

I believe the OG bonus is attached to the wallet / account iself yeah, so if you bridge all the funds over to your wallet that showed Diamond OG, that will be fine. It won’t decrease your OG bonus by removing stakes from V2 etc

Basically, if it’s given you diamond, you’re all good to stake from that wallet - it won’t lose diamond

So you can’t add that.

What’s actually happening is that it’s a multiplier bonus. So how that works is that it’s multiplied.

1.25*1.33=1.663 (and all of those numbers are probably rounded)

@wintry halo - FYI, I did use one of the Aerodrome decentralized domains that they recommended on X (@AerodromeFi) last night (just over 24 hours ago) and it worked great. The one I used was aero dot drome dot eth dot limo.

Please research well though and try it at your own risk. Just thought I'd share that this worked for me without issue so far.

I'm having this same issue and i've been having it for 3 days. Every time i try to use the bridge when my ILV balance is selected on Ethereum and Base is selected at the bottom, the bridge button constantly says "Bridge to Ethereum" and never gives me the option to bridge to Base. I've tried dozens of different combinations of messing with settings both in metamask and on the site. Would really like a solution otherwise I'm just gonna market sell my ILV

Claiming Rewards

When you stake ILV in yield farming, rewards will start accumulating for you. However, you'll need to manually claim these rewards and pay for the GAS fees of these transactions.

You can choose to claim the rewards whenever the pile is big enough to justify the gas fees. If you claim sILV2, it will be unlocked right away and can be used in-game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena. If you claim ILV, that batch of ILV will be locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effects. And the process starts over again with new rewards accumulating.

Please note that ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution must also be claimed, but they are not subject to a locking period.

After the 120 days of OG boost you will have only the lock duration multiplier left. Which means it will drop to less than 2x if you don’t have the 365 days

Right now only one wallet can get the OG boost. So you can start with the new wallet on the staking site and link it to the OG wallet. This will remove the boost from your existing wallet/stakes and put it on your new wallet.

I learned this the hard way, lol. Peter confirmed it's intentional to prevent abuse.

Per Peter, I believe there are two main confirmed bugs right now for shards:

1. ILV stakes aren't rewarded shards on the first day (but ILV/ETH stakes are)

2. Shards earned aren't updated on some parts of the UI. Disconnecting wallet, then clearing cache and reconnecting sometimes fixes this.

Peter was nice enough to jump in a DM session with me when I was asking questions, so thought it would be good to share the knowledge.

That’s the only staking that has happened previously. You’d need to use the same wallet that you used in either v1 or v2 staking contracts.

Correct. Connecting a different wallet for the OG bonus lets you use that wallet’s staking history for the OG bonus calculation instead of the one being used to stake. It’s not additive and it does nothing else.

This appears to be the start of the classic two-step immutable X withdrawal. It’s just the start and not yet even the approval of the first step.

Basically… once you start the withdrawal process it moves into the PENDING… you then wait until it’s READY. Once it’s ready you can finalize the withdrawal with an ethereum mainnet transaction that pays the gas to transfer the bridged tokens from the bridge address to your ethereum mainnet address.

That’s an older UI but the actual transactions remain the same.

when you withdraw from passport... there are two steps.

1. withdraw your token.. approve that, and wait for some time. (appears it's actually faster than 24 hours these days).
2. go back to the withdraw option, and click on the pending withdrawals.... you will see the tokens there when they are ready to approve for the final transfer to MM.
   (I was missing the 2nd step myself when I transferred to mm first time, and was confused to where my tokens had gone... so might be the same) 😄

I understand the frustration, but revdis is on pause till the safety pool is filled, that went through council - and the v3 offers shards as an additional reward, on top of everything v2 offered - if you don’t want to take part in shards, that’s up to you; you won’t lose any additional benefits outside of that if you stay in v2.

Well if we're super generous to your argument and only look at IMX players instead of the whole of web3. A quick search claims there's 2.5M active users on IMX. I'd say it's reasonable to assume these 2.5 have at least heard of illuvium. Yet illuvium struggles to attract even 0.04% of that potential playerbase. And that's with rewards and tournament prize money. That's appalling when you consider they've been building for over 4 years and have spent over $60M+. At some point we've got to start asking ourselves tough questions as to why your average 19 year old onlyfans girl is generating more revenue than a project as massive as illuvium.

As I say, those few that can even be bothered to comment on illuvium socials as to why they don't play always say the same two things. Gameplay is crap and/or can't be trusted. Why they say this I do not know. I like gauntlet and though I think there's been too much hype in the past I think it's unfair to say illuvium can't be trusted. But it doesn't matter if the sentiment is unreasonable or not, it's the sentiment that's out there and it's on illuvium to change it.

V3 staking is a perfect example of how not to build trust. with no revdis and no explanation as to what shards are, illuvium is expecting people to lock up tokens that are falling in price month on month. It's not even close to acceptable for a project as mature as illuvium to launch a product in such a state. Yet here we are 🤷‍♂️

I have not seen any marketing yet for Illuvium games. What we have is some comments from influencers on how Illuvium is building and some tweets about tournaments in Arena, a very complex game for a few. And there is nothing to play yet for general public. Zero is more an gamified investment instrument for a few willing to buy lands and invest a lot of time developing them, Beyond is a collector's game which can attract people only when the IP is strong and popular, Arena is not on mobile, only English and also very niche, MMO doesn't exist yet and Overworld is again a collectors game, like Beyond. So, nothing to shill yet to a lot of people with high marketing budget, hence there are no players. When MMO is a go and Arena is multilingual and on mobile, then the fun will begin, i hope. My concerns with V3 staking is not about trust, i trust personally, and i dont care about others, none of my business, they can sell if they don't trust and go away. But there are those pesky bugs in V3, it is undercooked.

Esports isn't a growth tool though it's a retention tool. Andrew warned them of this countless times. Big playerbase first, then esports. What we have instead is a $150k prize pot with a playerbase of less than 1k.

That's your choice. If you want the most rewards, then yes. V3 will offer shards AND Revdis, whilst V2 only offers revdis, no shards...
Shards are still speculative since we don't know what role they will have, but they will be valuable to some degree.

The only negative would be-

1. Your V2 stakes must not be in a current lock-up period, or you will need to wait for them to finish before they can be withdrawn + bridged to V3
2. You will need to Bridge to BASE + Re-stake.

TLDR: Worth doing if you want the most for your ILV and dont mind bridging

You’d have to cancel that transaction and then get into the metamask settings/permissions. basically metamask is automatically connecting the wrong networks to the dapp you are connected to. You’ll have to edit metamask permissions. Enabled networks… Selecting only BASE should fix it.

This is the metamask mobile ui so it will likely look a bit different for you but hopefully still similar enough to make sense.

The eth/ilv sushi liquidity pool tokens from v1 and v2 staking on ethereum mainnet are not used in v3 staking on the base network. They should not be bridged. The pools are operated on different platforms, networks, and with different tokens. You’ll have to bridge the eth and the ILV separately and then provide liquidity on the appropriate protocol on base network.

He would have to bridge eth and ILV to the base network. This is two bridging transactions. One for each of the different tokens.

You are then able to provide liquidity in the aerodrome ILV/eth liquidity pool on the base network.

You can then stake those liquidity tokens in V3

Staking is not related to the game network, the immutable migration that recently happened. Your v1 deposits would have been “migrated” years when v2 came out a you took action to upgrade the deposit and rewards to be read and processed in v2. So look under v2.

If you withdraw now then you get back SLP tokens. Take those to sushi to remove liquidity to then get separated ILV and eth tokens.

When you go to the staking page, you should be able to toggle to V2 at the top tab somewhere I believe.
Not home right now but in an hour or two I can help further if you need -
But if you can find the V2 tab, it should prompt you to connect the old wallet that shows those staked positions

I do not know what you mean by saying “the fraction”. Maybe you are talking about annualized percentage yield (apy). ILV staking has had 3 different versions at this point so there has been a lot of different potential benefits. If you can tell me what year that you made your staking deposit it would be a good place to start figuring out what your staked ILV would be eligible for.

That tooltip is apparently inaccurate. If you withdraw then you simply won’t see the shards that specific deposit has earned, except in your total shard count.

Is the issue also regarding new stakes? I just unstacked all my ilv that was still on V2, bridged it to base, and when I try to stake in V3 it shows balance is 0 ILV. The ilv shows in my metamask on the base chain though..
