@worn turtle I've had recent issues/confusion with claiming the vested tokens as I'm sure others have. So when I got the latest announcement today, that we can now claim the season 2 tokens, I was excited thinking we could claim them all. So I clicked claim and then realized I only got 1/2 , is there any way of reversing so I can continue vesting or have I just thrown $500 down the drain?

There should have been something mentioned in the announcement about when can now start or see our vesting ilv, not, we can claim... it seems I took this for what it sounded like and have lost out big time.

There might be some minor reductions in gas costs to claim if you withdrew everything that is still v1. But it would likely not be significant now that claims will all be for revdis.

Though claiming any PENDING rewards when gas is low is definitely the thing to do since pending rewards earn you nothing and won’t be vesting yet.

I Imagine you have to send your vesting position to the contract to get back your tokens (I probably should know this rather than imagine, but didn't have a lot to do with vesting contract dev).

This sounds like you are describing withdrawing tokens from immutable x chain.

This does not sound like you are attempting to withdraw from the ILV STAKING website.

But if you are attempting to withdraw your staked ilv then yes you will be paying a gas fee in ETH. That is a transaction that is being processed by the ILV staking contract. So that’s the contract that the tx will be “sending” to. It’s technically a smart contract interaction, all the eth gets burnt while processing the tx.

I made this advanced filter that shows all the illuvium staking interactions. You should see the contract address in there pretty easily.

If you use etherscan to check the send TO address then it will probably be easily identified on etherscan as an illuvium staking contract.

Lockup impacts the weight your staked tokens have. From like 1x to 2x depending on how long the lockup is for. Longer lockup = higher weight multiplier.

So there were originally two methods for staked ILV to earn additional ILV.

1. Yield farming. This is now over. No more ILV from yield farming. The original 3million tokens allocated to yield farming have already been distributed (not all have been claimed by the ILV stakers but that’s not really relevant to your question)

2. Revenue distribution. (Revdis for short)
   Basically, when illuvium accrues revenue then that revenue is used as eth to trade for ILV tokens from the global marketplace (at this point it’s always been swapped eth for ILV in the sushi eth/ILV liquidity pool). That revdis, that ILV that was purchased, is then distributed to the illuvium staking protocol for ILV stakers to claim as their piece of the revenue distribution.

Not really a good way to estimate in advance. But I tried anyways. And then made post revdis calculations too.

Token weight multiplier is also a massive variable as well. Anything between 1x to 2x multiplier. I don’t account for that in my spreadsheet.

If i do some approximate maths, i have :
(X ILV/ Y total amount of RevDis)/2 = Value in ILV of RevDis for 1 ILV weight x2 staked
For my part i found = 0.0045 ILV of RevDis for 1 ILV x2 weight staked
Does it match with yours? We should all have the same amount of RevDis for 1 ILV staked x2 weight if i am not wrong

1. After locking period is done your staked deposits automatically unlocked (you need to withdraw them manually though)

2. Yes, after locked period is done your deposits stay staked at the same weight until you withdraw them. You don't have to re-stake.

There's loads of possible ways a scammer could have accessed your wallet. Most common is they got your seed phrase somehow. Could have been you saved it digitally somewhere you shouldn't have (I've heard of people having their cloud storage compromised and losing wallets that way), it could be that you got phished into inputting it somewhere malicious (this usually looks like Metamask recovery or comparable).

Also possible someone got remote or physical access to your computer somehow and keylogged your password.

Something you can look at is when the scammers transferred things out of the wallet. They almost never wait around before transferring unlocked tokens out, so they likely got access around when the first transactions you didn't do started. It's not helpful for getting funds back or anything, but it will let you know around when they did get access and could give you some insight into how it happened.

You could. But unclaimed Pending Rewards will not have started their 12-month vesting period and are not staked and eligible to receive and revdis.

Yes. You do not need to own land to download the ILLUVIUM: ZERO game on mobile. Use it to log in with your passport account. Then go to settings. And delete your account.

It’s all the same passport account.

The rewards from now on will only be the revenue distributions (revdis). And those are distributed to staked ILV. So only half of the eth/ILV value receives the revdis. However, there’s also the liquidity provider fees that are earned from the liquidity pool trading volume that are automatically included in the value of the eth/ILV sushi liquidity pool (SLP) tokens.

Basically it varies. And there’s not a good way to know which will have better rewards. Good luck with your decision.

If you delete the account in the Mobile game then the account will be deleted and you would not be able to log in to play the other games.

JSON errors seem pretty rare. It may have something to do with a hardware wallet like a trezor. I’ve heard some wallet connection systems don’t work well anymore. You could try using metamask hardware integration instead or maybe RABBY wallet and its hardware integration.

4. Click on “Pools” tab. Image 1 below

7. Click “MAX” (or whatever amount you are planning to remove)
8. Approve the transaction to approve SLP token spend (if needed).

You only need to lock for 1 month for the minimum weight of 1.08 on your Illuvium tokens.

But if you lock for 12 months you get a weight of 2.0 and thereby more revdis. So no, you dont need to lock for a year. 1 month is enough, but a year is more lucrative if you purely aim for revdis.

On Dune you should be able to find the tokens staked.
Weight shiuld not be available however....

And then you divide revenue over tokens staked and their weight, and then multiplied by your weight and tokens staked.

In general you can take about a 6M tokens are staked -> 150 eth is the minimum revdis payout -> 150x3500/ 6.000.000 x 1 = 525.000/6.000.000 is about 0.09$ per ILV per revdis payout currently.

I know what i'm doing, Metamask is active, open and on mainnet, i tried with chrome on windows and Mac as well Brave on win & mac. I haven't personally used Sushi V3, but if it's the same as Uniswap works, the NFT is your "receipt" for providing liquidity, so you should be able to swap it back for the ILV + ETH.

You should be able to see the position by going to Sushi, going to the Pool tab at the top, and checking "My Positions".

there should be check box that can be marked for any that can be withdrawn at the same time. Different types of tokens can’t be withdrawn at the same time.

V3 staking would be on some L2 chain. It would not significantly change the utility of staking ILV from what staking ILV today in v2 contracts would do.

There is an update coming to the staking website which will eventually be rolled out, probably called staking v2.5 but it’s not a significant change to the contracts (I believe it doesn’t change the contracts at all), it’s just a website UI change.

Is there any benefit for length of time staked when it comes to revDis? i read the above comment as hinting it does, so probably best not to remove ILV/ETH if im gonna hold anyway if the time its staked in there for i.e years without unstaking has a benefit. Just wanted to make sure im understanding right. If i was to unstake and withdraw everything and then put it right back in basically that would give me less revDis or have some other consequence for ending my length of time? Thanks

It’s not the length of the time deposited that matters. It’s the length of initial lockup. So if you initially made a 12month lockup then you have the maximum weight of 2x. You’d have to make a new deposit with a new 12month lockup to get that same 2x weight.

Claiming Rewards

When you stake ILV in yield farming, rewards will start accumulating for you. However, you'll need to manually claim these rewards and pay for the GAS fees of these transactions.

You can choose to claim the rewards whenever the pile is big enough to justify the gas fees. If you claim sILV2, it will be unlocked right away and can be used in-game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena. If you claim ILV, that batch of ILV will be locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effects. And the process starts over again with new rewards accumulating.

Please note that ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution must also be claimed, but they are not subject to a locking period.

I say that you misunderstand how it works.

Because how it actually works is that ONLY staked ILV is eligible for voting (either as ILV or as eth/ILV SLP tokens). It’s not in your wallet when you use it to vote. The Snapshot voting service simply reads the blockchain to confirm that your wallet does in fact control staked ILV.

Voting used to be possible with both unstaked and staked ILV. But not anymore. Now it’s only staked ILV that is eligible to be counted as vILV (voting ILV)

So the IMX Passport Wallet that contains gains of ILV from rewards etc etc and the wallet that is used to stake are NOT the same... the tools that you use dont even have the rails to allow the passport to be used to stake directly.... The $ILV must first be moved to a secondary wallet to be staked... I forget the short list of wallets that work with the staking protocal, but .... I wish the whole process was easier.... sigh apparently I need education on this more.... I wonder if there is plans to provide better rails for dedicated players, especially ones like myself who are becoming content creators and e sports participants in various ways.... It is accurate that the Passport wallet/account system is a tool exclusively for use on the Immutable X network (and immutable zkevm network which illuvium does not use).
Since staking is not on that immutable X network but is instead on the ethereum mainnet network there’s not a way to stake using the passport account. The wallets that could work for staking are actually a long list of ethereum network compatible wallets, there are many wallets are compatible with ethereum DEFI and use the WalletConnect system. Metamask wallet was the industry standard when the staking protocol was developed over three years ago.

There has been talk for a long time of the possibility of one day moving staking to a layer 2 network so it’s easier to do. But there are certainly other priorities first.

So I saw something like this on one of my wallets. But it was only a microscopic amount of ILV dust. So I don’t actually ever plan to withdraw it anyways.

From what I saw it was definitely due to a ridiculously high estimated gas limit. If you want to try something on your own then go in and manually reduce the gas limit. 300,000 limit would be reasonable if a bit high. Doing that would reduce the fee significantly. But it’s technically possible that the tx would fail for running out of gas.

If you don’t like that possibility then you should definitely open a support ticket. Look in the top right of the staking site for (?) and contact support on that site to open a ticket.

Theres an equal amount of losses here to gains as this is done over an exchange of assets, ILV/USDT for example... people both make money and lose money even in the best projects. Token dilution was not only public information but actively warned about from most content creators if thats the only reason you feel scammed then this is very simple in a court of law... you were not scammed they didnt hide this info from you, you made a decision based on open and honest info. It sucks you lost money it really does... but this isnt even close to the end of the road yet... calm down, step away from the charts if its affecting you and if your really sick of the project you can sell out and find some other alternate cryptos that might do better and recover some funds! That could make a difference. But to get an answer to that is truly based on your wallet’s information you should contact support. Look for the (?) in the top right of the staking pages (or in the left side drop down menu) and open a ticket with support. They’ll probably want some screenshots of the error and your wallet address. Once you open the ticket You should get an email thread going with support.

The problem is that your wallet is in IMX L2 and the staking contract is ETH L1. There was in the roadmap an update to staking volume 3 that should be in the same layer as the game. But there is no detailed information on it

I just withdrew some of my old ILV v1 and re-staked it for 12 month, so all of it is with V2 now. I also have some unclaimed RevDis. and I am unsure if that just dropped a bit when I withdrew the staked ILV. will withdrawing any staked ILV influence the unclaimed RevDis ?
(if so, it's a good idea to claim that before withdrawing any of the staked ILV)

I like the new UI, it's nice and easy to navigate.... I also had to do a "delete browser data" in the Chrome browser, and then everything worked.. but that's pretty normal when websites get's an update like that 🙂

You don't need to withdraw your unlocked staked ILV, it keeps the same weight and it is still eligible for RevDis until you withdraw it. Withdrawing your unlocked stakes won't affect unclaimed RevDis
