OK so you believe transferring assets between your plots will be available in the alpha, cool! I've seen fuel converters, but Im still not able to find any information (in the pins) about converting elements to other elements? Im aware this can be done to produce fuel, but iv not seen anything about resources
Yes, I've been hunting for the same information. My gut feeling is that you'll be able to trade elements on the market for other elements i.e. I'm guessing there wont be a mechanism to associate elements and fuel (asides from improving buildings with elements that generate fuel). Just because it sounds inflationary once we've finished building the cities... might be wrong here...
I'm particularly invested in knowing because I have a T3 and three T1s in a 2x2 and with maximised element production with such a mega city, it is the main incentive. If I had a T4 it would be clear with the boost to fuel production, but maximising element production feels like a short/mid-term interest when building up your lands... at least at the moment.

Yeah Ive been playing it a little since. Its pretty funny and some good chill gaming for sure. Johnny mentioned in the Polemos interview before the land sale that their goal is to be like Simpsons tapped out in a sense.

It also assumes that ETH is going to bottom out (I do agree it goes lower). Nobody can call bottoms, so if you want something, put a bid number in your head now and pull the trigger when it gets there .
Only problem is when it drops to someone's bid human psychology kicks in and you want to wait for an even better price since it's trending down. That's like when you heard everyone ar 65k btc say "I'll sell everything I own to buy 20k btc" but when we drop to 20k everyone panicking saying they won't buy cuz its going lower

More questions. I'm a bit confused in terms of the selling of fuel. Is my understanding correct,
1.) when the game starts there will be a pool for eth/crypton, eth/hyperion and eth/solon which will be controlled by the DAO?
2.) There is a statement in the medium "Landowners earn approximately 5% of the total revenue generated from in-game Fuel purchases in Illuvium" I'm confused on this. Are the land owners going to sent all the fuels into a centralized pool and then ILV will be the one to sell it to players and only 5% of the total sales will be divided to the land owners?

- landowners get paid when they sell the fuel produced from IZ to the balancer pool. landowners produce 5% of all fuel and the DAO produce 95%

Fuels as we all know are ERC20 tokens and based on articles and interviews it will be used for all games that will be develop by ILV. In that case fuels doesn't have a maximum supply? Is my assumption correct?

No, lands don’t get revdis. Lands produce 5% of the fuel and you earn by selling that fuel to the pools.
This is my understanding sir, land owners will earn by selling the fuel based on the amount of eth which will be controlled by the DAO. the 5% which was mentioned approximately is the total earnings from fuel purchases.
We can compare it to gasoline stations .
Total gasoline stations are 2,000,000 5% of it are 100,000 (total land plots will be sold ever)
1.9M gasoline stations - owned by DAO (which makes them 95%)
100k gasoline stations - owned by land owners (which makes land owners 5%)
Note: This is only based on my understanding

Yeah at some point you would realise that holding ILV gives a similar type of revenue as a land. Bút for lands you would have to be active while ILV is pure passiveness.
The main benefit from lands over ILV tokens is the Blueprints, which are gacha based 🤣 So (impopular opinion lol) you basically buy a land, harvest fuel, and play daily just to play an idle gacha game to hopefully get rich until someone else gets that blueprint and you are back to playing gacha 😂

You can start earning from staking now, you wont earn a lot from land rn because zero isnt even out and even with the alpha you only keep blueprints. But land can increase in price as well so its a choice you need to make for yourself

Can say Roi is roughly 50% from landsale price in eth and that could give a ball park.
ilv staking relies on revdis which relies on sales; it’s not easy and costs gas fees, plus your ilv tokens are locked for a year. good thing here is you don’t need to play daily, it’s completely passive.
land otoh, relies on fuel and a chance to find blueprint which both can be sold in mp, all can be sold anytime. the downside is you have to be actively playing the game. although i must say the roi is much higher than ilv+revdis since there’ll be more things happening once game launches than sales happening

i go on a different suggestion, I also sold 2 t2s for 1 t2, the 2 previous t2s don't have a crypton site, the new one has all element and fuel sites
upon buying the new t2 (that has all the element and fuel sites), it's cheapest price in the market is 3x compared to the previous 2x t2s combined
bonus is that I also managed to get some (~30%) from the 2x t2s sold and use it to day trading
tldr; long term, get a tier that has all element sites (if t1) and all fuel sites (if t2 and above), it'll be more expensive than a mere land with missing sites in the long run

Guys relax nobody is going to be millionaire for playing a game, plus youre getting all wrong the 5% is the total share nobody will earn the same amount theres is 3 types of fuel and won't be the same price will be a 25%+- on prices depends on their demand. Also you have to develop the land fuel production with the higuer tiers getting first because they have the % plus on fuel production so will be a lot of variables to consider before making an estimation on what will be the ROI of lands.🍻
So why some millionaires invest ?
There are 20k lands and i have seen ppl with 30+lands that won't be able to work so will be much less players than the 20k lands i would say 10K active players or even much less. So if you are an active player you will earn a lot more.

People will be able to 'rent' land out to have other gamers play it and split the proceeds. Illuvium has already confirmed this model will be offered. Additionally, 3rd parties like Arcade2Earn and Polemos will offer the same.

The amount of squares that makes up the entire land plot.
It is a builder game where your buildings have dimensions ranging from 2x2 squares to 6x4. So the total area of your land is pretty important to know.

In the ILZ gameplay video a while back it looked like they were using silcon to extract cypton and hydrogen to extract solon, etc. So is it beter to have certain elements on your land when you have certain fuel sites? has this been covered anywhere at all?

Does anyone know how long each plot of land takes IF you have multiple lands? it's been mentioned that each plot will take 20 - 30 mins a day, but what happens if you have say 10, will it be 200 - 300 or not really because while you wait for something to load on plot A you could be working on plot B and C and so on...

I think this is important when making a decision on wether to buy a higher tiered land or multiple lower tiered lands.

Not in IZ, so i think its better to have some higher tier lands then multiple t1s. Also even if u get more blueprints from your lands you ll need lot of extra resources and think it will be hard to craft like 10 different skins same time unless u are not a whale and dont buy materials all the time
I don’t think it’s a matter of load times. You’re going to need to open up the land and then go around and harvest resources from a bunch of your different sites and then work on upgrading your buildings and making changes and building new buildings and converting things etc. and that may take just a couple minutes but you are probably going to need to come back every hour or two and do the same thing again for a few minutes. So in total each day you may end up spending 20 or 30 minutes doing that on each plot. So if you have 10 blocks then you may very well need to spend 2-4 hours a day if you want to fully keep up. I have a lot of lands myself but I don’t plan on being able to maintain all the T1 lands. So for the alpha I plan to just maintain my few higher tier lands or look for friends to work the others
Once the full launch happens you could rent out some of your land or look to create more manageable megacities or perhaps sell some lower tier lands for a single high tier

I don’t think it’s useless at all. Just like owning the house but renting it out. You get to onwn the asset and gain any appreciation in value the land may get. Plus you may have an agreement to split all fuel profits. Well someone else spends all the time to fully maximize your plot

Yep. Everyone has their own calculations on revenue. My calc is that once each plot is fully maxed out it will generate 1-2x its cost each year. So I think a T1 will do 500-1000 a year in profits. But just my calculations

I liked the idea of owning land because in my opinion it can bring me more money from blueprint (Skins) and the price is not connected what happens to crypto market, i ll be just crafting my own NfT and i ll decide how much they cost

When Kieran mentioned in an interview the numbers 30mins/day to manage a land doesn't mean it has to be that number. I think he was using that number as a figurative speech. It all depends on your skills and knowledge. You decide how long you want to spend in the game. The more you play the better you get at maxing out your land. Just enjoy it.
And also i am not sure what we are going to do with other resources like hydrogen or carbon once we wont need them for buildings
Did u watch the ILZ gameplay leak. That was 1min of doing minimal harvest. Then add on construction and conversion and all other actions. It could be 5-10 mins like 4-5 times a day. Depends on how much you sit and analyze too

I suspect if you want to make money through capital gains, T1 is a better investment, it's likely to sell faster and gain more value as the game gains attention. If you want to make income, T2+ are a better investment, probably getting more income per dollar invested.
So we can still get some good income if we start with trading T1 lands but think its not right time for that now

Theoretically a t2 is 4x a t1 with boost but the problem is it isnt real world applicable unless the t1 and t2 are the same with fuel layout. If a t1 has a balanced element layout with it's 1 fuel and the t2 has varying fuels and elements, they aren't gonna 4x the production of the t1.

I got lucky, I minted a perfectly balanced t1 with solon fuel. So i purchased 2 more t1s, 1 perfectly balanced plot with hyperion and other with crypton.
Mine are not well balanced, but still going to buy maybe t2 in July, i ll keep those for future who knows what can happen.

I’d say it’s pretty good. Not perfect but certainly on the plus side when it come to variety and some good link up with the landmark. Some people also think crypton may be more valuable than the other fuels (I have no reason to believe that yet) but if true then even better.
Certainly perfectly balanced is great but you will prob pay extra for it. Being one or two off perfect can still be just fine at a discount.

It will not be 1:1. It will be a little lossy depending on the level of your buildings. Higher levels equal higher optimization.
I’m not certain on this… but It may actually even be possible for some highly optimized lands with specific landmarks and high level buildings to be able to convert into their landmark supported fuel at a better than 1:1 rare.

Most of the land will be on IMX. it’s possible that there are some legit lands that made their way onto open sea but I wouldn’t know how to verify their authenticity.

Fun fact,Secondary sales on lands are a total of 2822 Eth(113 Eth to Revdis) in 20 days. 7 day average is 53Eth per day(2.1Eth to Revdis) or 19345 Eth yearly(21,2Million Usd at current valuation) and thats just for land sale on Secondary before the game is launched and no way of bidding,also no Ingame Economy for the main game,no Illuvitars.. we are so early it hurts not to buy more land...

Does anyone know if different tiers of land will take longer to get max output each day? Deciding if a tier 4 land would be better if I only have 30 minutes a day instead of tier 3 since it may require triple the time each day
Resources help you build your land plot. Higher tier land plots have more resources and if managed right will get to max output faster.

It just occured to me that depending on when megacities are possible, it would also have an affect. For example, if I have a 2x2 with a T3 and 3x T1s and I have maxed out all of my buildings and then the team releases the megacity option, then the landmark affects on the T1s will be redundant. Ofcourse, if a T4 is involved, then that will always be better regardless of when Megacities are possible.
So timing is key, I guess if you want to build a megacity and own less than a T4

In alpha illuvium zero for a T1 land if i want focus on blueprint , which elements might be the most used one for bluprint ? for example if you get only two elements in T1 which ones are good to have out of these three Lake, Outcrop and Crystal Deposit .

As far as I know there will be slippage but in the case of not having a second land to leverage off there will be a market building you can make where you can trade elements but obviously at a cost. So either or there is a way to obtain other elements if you don't have them on your land and who knows it maybe advantageous to have 3 of the same elements in a tier 1. Just gonna have to wait and see!

I think there will certainly be scenarios when you are fabricating or building something where it would be an advantage to have much more of one element and one of them wouldn't matter much at all.

Crypton is the Green colored fuel type that is used to power the obelisks in the overworld. You won't be able to travel to a different obelisk to catch T1-T5 illuvials without it!
Hyperion is the rainbow colored fuel type that is used to cure shards in the overworld. Shards with a tiers 1 to 5 will require Hyperion to be cured. but they are worth it, because the capture rates of Illuvials will increase with higher tiered shards!
Solon is the golden colored fuel type that can be used to forge and upgrade equipment!

I think the lands are very cheap considering our earning potential. My guess is the next set of land sales will sell for much much more than this first set.
I'm planning for .5X ROI (low from what others are saying) on the first year in fuel sales. but even if that is the case then the land will be worth way more after that first year.

Well you will be able to do it by selling it for eth from 1 land plot and then using that eth from another land plot to buy it back. This will force you to pay fees. So even if there is an UI option to do this it would probably still do this in the back.

I think in this market, selling and buying can result in big gains, but also big losses, but what is guarantee is if you keep buying you will have more of that token or land or if you just hold you will still have that 1 land. It depends what kind of gambler you are.

I have seen that the floor has risen a tiny bit. I did not expect large price jumps after the auction because of the Dutch Auction format. What we see now is maybe in part due to cryptos having crashed. In dollar terms land is now cheaper than at the sale. But then again: many people calculate in ETH and in this specific caase many calculate in sILV2 - like me. I am still heavily overinvested in Illuvium due to several reasons, so I would not buy land for ETH, even if I think it is fairly priced. Has something to do with overall portfolio balancing...

i think the illuvitar sale will bring in more buyers, and the T5 auction marketing and news breaks of the massive sale amount will also drive demand for land. i think now is the "quiet" time. eveyone who knows the game well has gotten their land. its the new people who learn about the game over the next 6 months that will drive the price of these lands up. we the owners now have done all the math of fuel costs and land values, but the new people will most likely not have that sort of math done out. and they will just want to get into this cool new game they just heard about that looks amazing. and these new people will drive prices up. jmho
plus us land owners (for the most part i think) dont want to sell our land. we want to keep it forever. so supply will keep drying up as the people who bought to flip eventually sell off their land for their profit, and the rest of us hold tight to everything

there are 6000 owners for 20000 lands. the top 100 owners own 4600 lands. with anywhere from 17-260 lands each. there is no way they will be working these lands. which means that at least 25-50% of these lands will be idle. so more revenue for everyone else

Yeah I wonder if you as the owner end up getting the resources to use for any of the lands.
You can claim a small airdrop of all 3 elements daily from your nexus. It’s to prevent people from getting stuck if they don’t have a particular resource available. Plus I assume you will start with an amount of all 3 elements to get started building. It would probably be wise to prioritize a converter right off the start so you have access to any resources you might need.

anyone have any thoughts on if a 2x2 (T3, T3, T3, T1) megcity is any better than a single T4? they both produce about the equivilent of 37 fuel (if you account for the Tier boost and landmark) Buy my math they would cost about the same (around 15 Eth). So if price and fuel output are the same, then whats better, having all that in a single plot or having it spread accross 4? thoughts?
Im guessing tier 4 takes less time to manage but thats me just guessing.

The major diff that comes to mind is that you can have a singularity scanner on each plot. So 4x the chance to get blueprints compared to a single plot.

On a separate note we just pushed a beta version of Market Stats out for Illuvium on TokenTrove. It allows you to see the price charts of historical sales but grouped by filter. You can now see things like the average price of all T1s sold over time, etc:

could you also add to your Market Stats the ave (or low) daily "floor." I assume that ave price you are showing is the sale price. so people paying huge amounts to complete their megacity may skew that ave daily price. so seeing a floor trend would be nice

I was assuming that megacities only got the landmark boost shared by all the lands. (so just 10% to element or fuel on other sites) but in this video, Kieran says that T1s linked with a T4 would get the 300% boost of the T4, making the T1s have 3 fuel outputs instead of the 1. Is that really how it is planned to go? that is waaaaay different than simply sharing a landmark

Would be sweet if we could name our land plot(s) besides seeing a wallet address. It could show up on the illuvidex that way and make it easier to search for others land. I'd name my land in crystal shores Slappin Town. It would be amazing to somehow be able to peak over your neighbors fence and see what building they are up to.

Personal evaluation: I pretend that majority of pp used sILV2: average price for your plots is around 11 eth. I would consider a full 10% extra for the effort of completing a megacity so@if you paid everything with sILV2 I would suggest something around 12/13 eth today. Ofc with eth at 1k I would never sell anyway
because the tiers are so low, id say prob 15 Eth. which makes sense because a T4 goes for 15 Eth and has more fuel output than your 3x3 combined. Even so, having a 3x3 MC is just flashy, so even with your MC outputting less than a T4 i think it could still go for the floor price of a T4 just because its a MC. Thats just my opinion. maybe you could get way more.

I think plots in all regions strat is better for blueprints as far as diversity goes and megacity better for fuel/resources. I went with the all regions up front because we will only be able to keep blueprints we find. Once fuel markets become a thing, I may look into switching it up
