Literally just the community makes it "rough", look at games like mariokart, gta, ect. These new variations of the game take sometimes 10+ years to develop now compare that to illuvium whos never built a game before and in 3 years have made 3 games that are all 70% complete. The foundation is built, yet people/investors aren't seeing the long-term growth of the project.

Additionally fortnite was a completely different game before it went to battle Royale and was and still is one of the most successful games created.

Trying to cramp in another scanner. So, have to move basically everything, sell buildings etc. My tip if you have a T4 and thus more limited space, start with planning the 5 scanners. I had 3 or 4 and to do it afterwards, well not recommendable. Keeps me busy though... Kieran said Zero turns out to be the most sticky of the 3-4 games, and I can confirm 😝

I think having a city planner would be nice, so you can design and test independently from actually building. But just moving buildings around without actually having to rebuild them seems different from other (web2) city builders.

at least not completely useless, but theres alrdy a lot of farming stuff i mean you can alrdy collect like 7 sellable items from land (types of items including fuels and bps). some playable elements would be more likely to focus on so its not only collecting and upgrading stuff. I know team is in process and as a dev i know that good dev need time, but as somebody coming from crypto since 2010 i saw so many projects went wrong by focussing on the moneyside of project (sure because all investors want roi). So for people from crypto to come in the game the people want roi and if everybody wants roi it ends where it ends every time. The focus should be placed on people from gamingsector and those people dont come for the trading and earning side they come for the gaming-part. And therefore u need to have a look on the customer u target. For me Illuvium´s main targetgroup from graphics is 10 to 20. Crafting and Complexity targetgroup 16 to 25. But you have also to get the struggle of those maintargets: Students and children cant afford the required computerstats (which student worldwide i dont mean us-eu has this kind of 3k pc) and also pay for every run. Thats just wrong product (decided by people who just want rewards not a good game) to wrong targetgroup.
In my opinion this Rewards should be stopped completely, the servers shut down (operating costs rn has to be eating project) and than there has to be clear roadmap communcated what to has developed and whats the progress in visual so people dont ask same question every day. I think the running environment helps to find bugs, but also costs a lot of resource to run it right now (human capital as well for service) and people dont respect what is alrdy done. If something comes out they want new update like an hour later and just complain.

sure, but that doesn't mean it's the right decision to cut exactly those expenses.
if you cut those then you don't have revenue at all.

I think if they had 12 months and we´re only filling the runway with 11% than you can quite easy calculate when we are out of runway.

But that said, they did indicate they have several alternatives to go forward, so I wouldn´t really worry too much about it (once you consider this investment lost, so much more enjoyable the game. NOT saying it is lost, but just not counting on enourmous returns anytime soon).

I played a MMORPG 15 years and Spendt at this time 10k for prem and all shit. Now its worthless but i Had 15 years fun while playing.

For now its the right decision to Cut Back Marketing. AS i Said would be stupid to Push Marketing for the Game right now. But also people Farming now the best illuvials and stuff for ne next years so when News people Join they alrdy have No Chance anymore and got disappointed or prices are ways to high.
Thats disattracting new people so wouldnt it be good to hold back this rarity aspect and Focus now more in gameplay so people stay on Same lvl but can increase their Skill. Rarity Just comes with interest not the other way. Hope there is enough Money left for real Marketing.

Each T3 plot has 1 of 3 possible landmarks that give a bonus to production to one of the elements
Each T4 plot has 1 of 3 possible landmarks that give a bonus to production to one of the fuels

So it's not like you can have a 'rare' landmark (apart from T5 lands but those are only 2 for the moment and the sale didn't happen yet)

I think they should have kept the original 10% rail eitherways idea. The problem with the bonus model is that the more competitive the land holders selling price gets and extra bonus. The more free exploration is possible and free collection. Its just a snake eating its own tail.

if you have fully developed your land, you can harvest/build up to 20% faster
that means every 18 hours ~
at T4 I think it took me around 10-14 days to - near max -

One thing that may help is to use the secondary wallet feature that illuvium has setup. It may not help but the reason I think it might help is that a transfer should make IMX refresh the data.

1st connect the secondary wallet to your passport account.

2nd transfer the land to your secondary wallet.

Yeah. Land owners supply 5% of the fuel that’s sold and the studio/dao provides the other 95%. So it will take a lot more fuel buying for there to be enough fuel for land owners to match their initial cost.

There’s 20,000 lands. Most t1 but there are plenty of higher tier lands that actually produce the majority of the fuel.

I’m just guessing but I’d guess that less than 10,000 lands are being used.

So a wildly simplified estimate of the amount of total illuvium wide fuel revenue needed for the average land to get $300 in fuel sales is… $60,000,000.

(60,000,000*0.05)/10,000=300

Though TECHNICALLY the land owners currently using their fuel to play OW are bypassing that system and can play the OW game without needing to sell fuel and therefore bypass that high revenue requirement.

Sure. Illuvial market pricing seems to be focusing on high stats. And high stats are rare. So most illuvials that are captured are not worth the fuel to capture them.

Much like the pack opening experience the overworld is replicating. Usually it’s gonna get you low value. But with enough of them you’ll get some high value things (illuvials) that are better. At the moment you can even SEE the stats before you battle them. Players can choose to escape and not battle, or battle and earn xp but don’t attempt to capture.

1. Can you sell blueprints themselves - or does having multiple of the same have no benefit?
2. How many of each drone skin type / armor skin type there is? E.g. if I got an Atlas Drone skin, is there only one (therefore I shouldn't research an Atlas drone skin again)?

I see potential, a ton. I'm interested to see how they plan to bring young gamers, poor gamers... otherwise people who may not have expendable income for crypto, let alone a game.

depends on your tier, other buildings and layout but 12ish at literally 150% should be the floor. if you are focusing on passive production exploitation and cycling their positions then the max 36 if you have room and infrastructure is possible

If all cycles are equal at 4:00 that leaves you short on the bottom due to it being collected around the shape of a rectangle, that’s what I’ve been trying to say is if it’s at 4:00 intervals that still leaves 4:00-8:00 shorter because it’s on an odd shape, if it were a square rather than a true rectangle (I know a square is technically a rectangle) then it would work perfect, but the one long end and one short end of the shape leaves the half of top plus side (cycle A) as longer than just the bottom part of the bar (adjusted cycle B) when A and C are the same. I truly think this is a visual thing based on literally not being able mathematically to split it properly visually, if you take a 3:2 rectangle half of the top would be 1.5 and the side would be 2 making it 3.5 for top plus side, bottom being just 3 that leaves it shorter than the 3.5 from each side+half top. I’d be interested in times like I said, if they’re all actually the same time it doesn’t matter visually.

if it is a success, you have different chances for each tier of biodata and those chances being influenced by their affinity and region your plot is located

I don´t see why anyone would want to hide their plot from visitors. Every plot is different so it is not that you can copy literally one´s layout. And if you are trying to sell the plot I would make it obligatory to be able to view it. Only reason one would hide it is it might say fully constructed and once you buy it you find out it is a powerstation museum with nothing else.

• t1/t2 are pretty free to build wherever you want, so those plots you actually can copy layouts for the most part.
• you can also fuck up on high tiers, which could dramatically improve if you see plots of better skilled players.

It's the same plant, I can't clear it. When I want to harvest the plant after the timer went through I get the network error and it refreshes. Without doing anything the timer is back to 0 with the exact same plant. :/

Yeah there is some text issues with one of the convertors. But the concept is pretty simply.

You convert TO the resource that the converter is for. You can use either of the other two resources to become that resource.

It is specifically on my tier 3 land. 1 of my Hyperion extractor, I started noticing it when it reaches stage 4.

My other hyperion extractor and other fuel extractor are working fine. It just this one.

I tried isolating him from other buildings and borbard it with high level power stations but it still bugged.

Also tried upgrading it to stage 5 but still bugged.

I have a scholarship IZ for anyone interested. I have 1 very developed land Tier 3 and 3lands tier 1. Scholar pay rent 324 units combustible/day (tier 3). Others free for now, blueprints..... for scholar. land tier 3 producing 364 combustible/day. At the end of week, scholar must pay (7-1)*324= 1944 fuel in eth at any address into IMX blockchain, the rest fuel for scholarship.

This happened to me 1 time with a Solon dredge. I was moving around d builds and upgrading it at the same time.

2 things I did:

1. canceled and desportillo the production.
2. get 1 power station to lvl 8-9

It might say it has power but there is a UI Bug

For example this Hyperion just got to lvl 6, 2 or 3 days ago. It said it had full power but I saw the passive not going up. I had to upgrade a power station by 3 lvls, 5 to 8, to get it working

The weird thing is when you first open the plot and dont collect anything it will work normally but when u start collecting something eg: element or fuel. The timer will reset to its starting time and it will paused its extraction as if it doesn't have enough power.

That’s obviously a fairly weird way to do it. But it does provide eth for those selling fuel. Which is what is supposed to happen.

Alternatively one method that’s been mentioned was a blanket distribution of eth to landholders. A method Which has other drawbacks.

I do not closely follow DAO governance so I’m not exactly certain what the current plan ought to be.

Yea, you need fuel for grinding assets, those assets you need in leviathan Arena.
There's also skins, emotes, beyond disks, future Landsales etc. Which will all be priced in fuel or the Zero share gets redistributed to fuel sellers of it is not possible to sell in fuel or not suitable

Zero f2p is mainly for getting to know how Zero works before you have to pay for a Land nft. In future there might be more Fun, social activities and competitive pvp/pve features implemented.

For now:

• you can't sell any assets generated on your f2p plot yet
• you can't use any assets in other Games than Zero itself yet

However, you can:

• play for Fun
• play for Airdrop missions
• play for possible future features.

Also the tokens you generate with Level ups are Account bound. If you one day decide to buy a Land you can use those tokens to Speed that Land up or buy builders there.

they disappear after some amount of time. some of mine vanished after at least 2 days of being claimable I think. I don't think it was more than 4 days before I tried to claim them but that's about as close as I could guess for a timeframe.

To play overworld 2 runs a day in t2 , that will cost 900 crypton. Is it sustainable buying a land to generate this amount of crypton? How many does it produce BTW?

If you own a T4 you can do those 2 runs for free. Fuel is so cheap right now that owning a land (right now) is not worth it. Maybe later people will regret not owning one but for the time being is not worth it.
