And yah⦠one way to do that is create an enjoyable experience for people. Currently that joyful feeling isnāt there yet⦠or leaderboards and rewards. However with leaderboards thatās still buying players in a way⦠which is trying to make up for a meh experience.

150% t6 crypton converters' passive says 24/288 hours instead of 36/288 like hyperion/solon...has anyone verified if this is just an unfixed display error or if crypton is the only one that doesn't increase passive production on the last upgrade? trying to decide if I should upgrade or if it's a waste of time

The 100% is the bonus a t3 gets.
So formula is

I just do not remember having this much issues to think about on a t2. there was a struggle but this alone to fix might take the lowest amount of time between 2 and there days to get.
that said, imo and this is not financial advice, if youre looking for a quick max and less of the above a t2 is the way to go. Its night and day between each additional tier

my fuel never sells on the market, it's been weeks. I've continously created new orders at the current market price (while keeping the others going too) and still nothing sells. Even if I have crypton listed at .0066 and then it goes up to .0068 or .007 and still my fuel at .0006 doesn't sell; how is this possible? is anyone else having trouble selling? I paid extra money in game to buy tokens to get to selling fuel faster and literally none of my fuel will sell, quite frstraing lol

I don“t know why hyperion dropped so much. I mean literally 4 days ago I sold all at 0.00000168 and now at 0.0000015 it doesn“t sell. the upper wall is at 0.00000139
If you want to sell you have to either put that or a little below. Or like me, wait until demand rises (which I think often happens in the weekends)

yes, it“s power. I had same issue, and did not get it. But increasing power fixed it. Lot of little things the game needs to polish. Especially that sell button and the network error with removing the plants.

I“m not 100% but at launch of open beta they said they opted for release but had to scratch blueprints and megacities which would be added aprox. 3 months after, so november-ish
btw I bought coins in the first few days after release, and I had an issue. I made a ticket, that must be a month or so ago now, and tbh I kind of forgot about it but this morning they were added in the game. So support really is on things, although we get impatient sometimes (a lot of times actually š ) and it seems nothing happens, but they are working actively.

Is that not an idea? There might very well be demand in Zero for lower tiers to buy fuel, if they want to concentrate on blueprints. A lot of people are probably not going to like that idea though...

I think the mayority might say we already paid for the land, to play overworld for free. Don“t know how many runs you could do once that option to use your own fuel is enabled but then they probably don“t want to pay fuel for research in zero. But it might not hurt to add it anyway, it is probably not THAT much dev work to implement it.

Two revenue streams for IZ land owners:
- It's all the fuel you sell

- 5% of all NON-fuel revenue made by the DAO based on the amount of fuel you sold compared to overall sold fuel
So I just noticed that tier 6 Hyperion converters produce more fuel passively than tier 6 crypton converters

usually the share is secured with the 1:19 ratio in fuel sales on the fex (fuel exchange).
however, there might be products which can't be sold in fuel or it isn't beneficial for those being sold in fuel.
5% of the revenue out of every digital product sale not priced in fuel, will be distributed to the landholders quarterly.
it is distributed proportionally on the fuel sales each landholder had.
so if one sold 1% of all fuel last quarter, he gets 1% of the 5%.

depends... if you are at capacity then u might wanna build a DB first so you can keep scanning. But if you aren't full then maybe a Mat Lab so you can research that biodata

It has been some time⦠I have now upgraded my crypton converter to level 6 to figure out if it is just a tooltip issue or a real bug. And indeed, the passive generation does NOT increase from lvl 5 to lvl 6 for crypton converters on tier 2 lands. I really do not believe that this is the intended behavior, because for the other fuels it does increase.
For me too, it only doesn't increase with crypton converters.
I think land owners should get a MUCH higher pct of fuel sales. That is a bit biased opinion though

That is what usually follows the passing of proposals.
My assumption is that the example is the actual way it will be implemented. Instead of needing to count the ETH that was actually paid, the price of fuel varying makes it a weird thing to count. Simply counting fuel makes more sense to me. BUT counting eth ought to technically be possible and would further encourage fuel sellers to sell at the highest possible prices

Correct! If you're a player you can rent lands, and if you're a landowner you can also list your lands for other users to rent. Also, just a small correction - we're called LootRush!

Once the plot is built up, fuel generation is such a passive process that idk if a scholarship / rental model really makes much sense tbh.
You can do so via LootRush (feel free to reach out if you have any questions). I believe there are also some Illuvium guilds offering rentals through informal 'scholarship programs'.
As others have pointed out, we're not Illuvium's official partners. A rental solution is being developed by Polemos, which I believe is an official Illuvium partner.

I made this for a rental agreement lol i have no clue how lootbox etc works but will never use a service until it is on illuviums website and be implement through illuvium.
If any assets such as a blueprint is farmed, does the person renting the land get the blueprint or does the landholder retain the blueprint? What happens with the fuel when sold, does the renter get the eth sent to them or is this sent to the renters wallet?
A player would be able to rent your land although they'd pay a fixed daily price (there wouldn't be a split fuel profit)
Yes, this is a good point. I think if you're active playing Zero with your lands once the Lands are built up, it might not make sense to list.
However, if either you're not actively playing with your lands or have an excess amount of lands, it might make economic sense to rent and earn some rental fees passively
Every asset/token/resource earned by the user renting the land is his to keep.
As a renter you're only paying daily rental fees set by the supplier

T1's I had at the start of Beta are L6 with one ALMOST able to afford L7 and this bottom-feeder of a lot just pushed up from L4 on Tuesday. (Carbon, Carbon, Hydrogen, Solon ... š¬ Fuel nerf halted progression with some harsh bottlenecks due to lack of crystal.)
If people want to rent the T1's, power to them ... but it is tough to see someone signing up for that kind of pain knowing it will suck ahead of time. š

Goal is to max profits for them, which would already lead to them seeking some max build. At that point, I take it back and just visit every day to sell what pops up?

Just a quick update on Zero (more to come in a devblog next week). We're definitely going all in on finding fun ways for landholders to generate content that is valuable in the world. We've already discussed things like Beyond sales, and cosmetics, but we have more in mind. That being said there are some other really simple things we want to do that will help the whole experience.

Ironically, one of the best updates we can do for Zero is to increase the quality of Overworld and Arena. We have a plan for this that will help take those games out of Beta, including art updates that make the game playable on much lower spec machines (and mobile in the case of Arena), plus features that will bring more new players to the game and encourage them to spend fuel. Fuel is the cornerstone of Zero, and I'm sure nobody here will protest to making more money.

More stuff to create besides Fuel and Blueprints. This is pretty straight forward, and we think we can do it in a way that makes it more fun and engaging.

F2P content that lets people enjoy land without needing to purchase, and then convincing those people that it would be great to buy land so that they can finish all of the content (since only landholders will have access to all the content). This is meant to drive those players into purchasing land which should help boost prices.
I will go into more detail next week but just want to keep you guys in the loop.

This sounds fantastic mate! Yes, if Overworld and Arena are more appealing to the people then the landowners can eventually sell more fuel, which is in a way a mayor part of our fun.
I have always thought and feared in a way that IZ would be a bit neglected. After all if you count on many players in OW and Arena, for now, we are only going to be max 20k Zero players (who already paid) and max 100k eventually. So in theory relatively to the rest not that many.

Definitely not neglected, but there are fewer devs working on Zero. I don't think that will change. That being said we will use the resources to the best of our abilities.
Thanks Aaron. For what it is worth, I am really enjoying zero. It is a great game but it might need some stuff later on, as when you hit end game, it gets a bit "10 minutes a day". Not right now because my scanners and biolabs are not hitting the same time, but eventually in the interest of not losing good nights sleep I will try to kind of sync them to my morning coffee š
Why does fuel exchange orders take forever to fill?
This is part of the update. General idea is that there are general management things that will keep it fun that f2p players can do. But at end game they will struggle, and hence ownership will become appealing.
If you filled them partially... I would say because you made them too big. Prices fluctuate. And although I think the weekend is better than the week, it might drop a bit and you don“t complete all. It is now, since demand is not huge yet. try smaller batches.
Then the other side is the asset creation, of which will be a bit more simple (since free players canāt enjoy it) but will be fun for paid peopleā¦since those things can be sold.

Thank you for this update. I hope that this pays off big for land owners, I really like the idea of arena mobile and think it is a missing link. I dont play OW much anymore because it just feels like so much work to get a game going. But managing my land is an enjoyable experience throughout the day that makes me feel like I am building future income. Anyways, keep the think tank going, land ownership to fuel the economy!

Last thing I heard was Arena was planned for mobile but end of next year, and OW is just too heavy for any mobile out there. They were thinking of doing some kind of app, where you pay for a simulated run, but you don“t actually get to see it. And the "loot" will not be as great as a real OW run but it would be a solution for the only-mobile crowd. Don“t know if that is still the plan though.
hey mate, thanks for the update. Not sure if it's been said here, but I was thinking a mechanic where the Podarium gives efficiency increase to scanners, but decrease to other buildings would help with some specialisation, and having to make a choice. Think of it as it helps the flora to attract the fauna, and decreases mining and power because maintenance of those buildings are more expensive/difficult because the encroachment of nature gets in the way of the equipment.
Also, for those of us on mobile and who have bad eyesight, can we get it so we can view the plot from any of north, south, east and west angles? Having the single view makes it somewhat difficult to see clearly what is in place

I think I have heard people say that here yes. There is that and on the other side the plant issue that you have trouble removing them, because when you do and place something else there you get a "network error" and the game restarts and the plant is right back.
I'm currently stuck
After a while the plot loaded, but nothing is available in the UI I can click to harvest a few things, but I cannot access to the menu to remove the roads or any menu at all. Cannot built, cannot upgrade.... The game is broken :/ I tested an empty plot and it's working perfectly fine so it's really an issue related to "my plot / UI of the game".
If anyone has a fix I'll gladly take it. Or should I open a ticket ? :/

That would be extremely easy to do.
Just make a new building (refinery) and let players "craft" the overworld fuel from the 3 fuels we have now.
That would also give the devs a better lever to adjust the production ratio (by changing the crafting cost of the refined fuel). That way you can balance the game independently from the state of the fuel market rather than having to readjust every building in IZ whenever they see a need for changing the fuel ratio.

I think that thing doesn“t work yet. If I am not mistaken it will also serve for the flying swarms that stun you in overworld, to make dyes in zero.

you should be able to stack those morphopods in your podarium to increase the chance of plants growing in its AOE and let them mutate depending on the affinity of the stacked morphopods.
If you harvest those mutated plants, you will get dye's as reward which will be needed in the skin crafting process.

It affects the production timer, so you can collect more frequently with a higher bonus (Active production only, it doesn't affect passive income from converters).
It has no effect on building efficiency though.
i feel podarium are going to be mostly built in t1, since they have barely enough fuel to do other things like research high tier biodata, or sell fuel.... which isn't a bad thing in my opinion

yes but since T1 are going to have a hard time researching T4&5 biodata someone is going to have to make these skins as well, that probably being plots T3/4. Because you can“t send over the blueprint to another plot, no? Or can you? These unlike fuel actually are nft“s so in theory you could sell it to yourself and send it from a higher tier to a lower one to make the T4/5 skins.
The Blueprint needs to be an NFT and you use it in overworld. So you can send them to any account you actually want to

hi everyone im going to briefly explain here why blueprints are a scam to landowners. If you are or care enough react to this and then i'll post it on feedback-ideas.
Lets say player 1 finds a blueprint, he can now take it to the overworld, and pay an X amount of solon to forge a skin. Then he'll go to the marketplace and sell that skin for X+Y and get profit right?. Now what happens when a second player finds the same blueprint? Well, player 2 can repeat the process and sell that same skin at a lower cost, beating the other persons saled and making some profit for himself. Then of course player 1 does the same, and the wheel spins until the price of the skin is below profit. Which means that by the time 2 people get the same blueprint, the only ones making profit would be the ones selling solon. (might aswell just sell skins in marketplace alongside battleboards)
Suggestion, make blueprints have a limited amount of uses before it ''breaks''.

So as illuvials will get rarer at some point as supply is not infinte so will the skins .. at some point equilibrium will make way and no one will undercut because illuvials will be harder to get by

we have a big problem with t1s...with only a 5% chance to even get a fact, and requiring most of the fuel to do this each day, yeah for t1 plots the rarity of bps will still be high, esp. higher tier ones. But for other tiers of land it could very well lead to what you suggest..esp. without out thousands playing gauntlet and wanting to show colors. But honestly I was so wrong on $400 being good value for a t1 land...I'm not sure $200 is even a good value give current game play mechanics for it.

I've said it many times that my only fear is that you can research the same biodata again and again. If we can remove that and make it for example you can succesfully research a biodata only once (get only 1 BP from it) i think we'll be safe.
Maybe you could make a 2nd BP if you find that biodata again.. but that would be it

It is.. give it time.. this last update has made some real improvements to the capturing experience and with the intro to Leviathan already high stats illuvials have been bought. That is why skin producing will be another illuvials burning mechanism

connect as many building as you can via roads. as long as one road tile is touch a building vertically or horizontally (not diagonally) it counts as connected to the road network

It will always be good to get stuff earlier than not. Eventually they will become rare/unique as the production of them is phased out. I assume that's the plan. I haven't played anything like this, skipped pokemon, but that phase out is an important part of the economics of the game. There is no mass adoption yet, so getting stuff now means you will have things those others won't once they are onboarded.
There will always be people willing to pay as soon as they join to have the best gear from the get go.
And if not, it's pretty much time that you've lost
I am interested in hearing the plan around blueprints, and ensuring value later on. As said, multiple people getting the same ones means they aren't rare, which would indicate needing to go to somewhere specific to get them in game, for those who haven't produced them later on.
That to me indicates the ability to host shops in Overworld, and characters would literally have to travel to them to get the kit.

Were the Plots reset at some point, my partner played Zero for 4 months and got my land to over Level 100 from memory, had heaps of resources. I just migrated it to Illuvium Passport and it is totally reset to Level 1
The plots were reset when the public beta launched a month ago.
I told her I'd give her the profits from any resources we can sell, she is not going to be happy after she finds out she played 4 months every day for nothing

Funny how 5/6 blueprints i found are for the same armor type. Seems that every plot has 'assigned' only a pool of 2 armors from which you can gain a BP

they said there were 12. But I think even at (low) atlas level there might be different droprates for some armors, so that is why a lot of people have the same. Surely there is 1 or 2 that are a LOT harder to find.

not sure if its already in the works but a way to turn off repeat task for buildings by clicking on them rather than having to find it in your production tab would be a huge qol boost
if you turn off auto repeat in production task you“ll be able to click on the buildings. Not sure if we are talking about exactly the same thing though
I have turned off the auto repeat for the passive extractors, since if you don“t you are never able to get the passive elements/fuel
it will be different for everyone, as it depends on your road bonus which speeds up these processes. The more roads connecting to more buildings the higher the bonus, it will go all the way upto 20% although I am personally happy with 10% and have more space to increase efficiency instead.
In endgame the 20% will be 4.8 hours off while 10% 2.4 hours off. Since I usually play at the same time each day, it does not really matter if the extractions etc. were done 4 hours ago or 2. For me it is just a 24h cycle. But everyone has his own strategies

yeah that is true. I try to identify them by their remaining time to finish their cycle, but true, sometimes you have 3 you started in the same minute, which will make it a gamble to turn off (and lose whatever you paid for that cycle) until you find the correct one.

It is better because a T2 has 3 fuelsites and a T4 has 9, and also T2 has a +33% production boost whilst a T4 has +300% production boost. So you“d need about 9 T2“s to match a T4.

Minting recipe is not known at the moment (it was BP+illuvial+solon+dye - but not sure about the final recipe) as BP minting is not live yet
Each fact increases your chance of finding a blueprint for that specific line of illuvials

Blueprints should be bound to a steeep bonding curve. At some point (2022/23) kieran and aaron were talking about one person finding that one super rare rhamphyre blueprint.

No they are not unique. You can find a BP for each of the available suits (15) + for each drone (4) - so you can research 19 Atlas (for ex) different BPs on a single plot (and even more as it seems the original design of being able to research only 1 BP for 1 biodata has been put aside)
In theory this doesn't sound too good but as it stands now with the scanning + research costs i think you can take away Tier 1 and 2 plots from the equation(at least for higher level BPs) and even a good chunk of T3s (to be able to fully sustain daily scanning + research at high lvl you need to spend more fuel than the daily production of a Tier3)

The skin should be single use. Because they need resources and fuel to craft so it is a sink for fuel.

Currently There is 20 Affinity and 20 Class
20 x 20 = 400 combination of Affinity and Classes on Skins
So if we have 400 combination for each of the say 5 design for each illuvial. We have 2000 Blueprint type per illuvial.
That will make each blueprint unique enough.

So what, just spend literal years accidentally finding the same one over and over before lucking into a different one? On a tier 3 plot a level 5 converter makes 8 fuel in 12 days at 50% efficiency
It also costs 50 fuel to go from level 4 to 5. While not literally years to upgrade I'm not convinced it's a good deal. At least not until the rest of your plot is developed
And considering they may rebalance fuel rates at any point without notice I'm personally not wasting fuel upgrading converters that yo level 5 if they are only running 50% efficiency

using it to generate more speedup coins can get you extra builders on your main plots quicker which speeds up when you'll get to producing/max stages. imo it's at least worth doing on your off time/between other plot upgrades. any hastening to fuel and research is beneficial

Basically the skin will modify the Class and affinity of the illuvial. Something like mutation to something unique.
Example a Winq with a Fire and Rouge Skin. Will change it into rouge and fire. It throw away it original affinity and class. This mutation will create different possible of game play. Maybe the dev can release the skin batch by batch after testing if it will break the game
As for generation of the artwork of these skins. The Dev can create layers on the skins in their model. When u change the affinity it is basically changing the pattern and background of the layer. When the game get more mature and the dev can revisit the skins and polish it by adding texture and effect
So it can be possible.

It takes away from the uniqueness of each illuvial meaning you would have 150+ characters and each can be whatever you want it to be... like take 6 Titanors and make them rogue .. i wouldn't see that happening
As for the models i would just be happy to have proper skins and not suits with different colors (although they will have differents effects) .. it remains to be seen how those will look

each level corresponds to the same level biodata you can potentially research ... lvl 1 =t1s, lvl 3 = up to t3 etc

If the person played the land and you purchased it. You will keep the progress which means all the buildings and pathing will remain but the fuel and elements collected will be reset. Also the land level will remain the same even if you reset the plot yourself.

I tried logging out and back in on mobile and PC. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
