What are each type of fuel used for?

In the Illuvium Universe, there are three different types of fuel Hyperion, Solon, and Crypton. These fuels are used in the Illuvium ecosystem for various purposes, such as curing shards, crafting weapons and upgrades, and traveling to different regions. Fuel production is driven by Illuvium Zero

In Illuvium: Overworld

• Hyperion is used to cure shards and capture Illuvials,
• Solon is used to craft weapons, armor, and other upgrades,
• Crypton is used to travel to different regions.

In Illuvium: Zero
Hyperion, Solon, and Crypton are commonly used in high-level buildings. These fuel types may be required in order to build or upgrade certain structures

Login with your wallet, sign the transaction for IMX that'll pop up automatically

Then go to the Illuvium zero page, and you should have access to download the game

(maybe it works if you just login with your email, you can try that first if you like, but I think the website will need to connect to your wallet see that you have land => access to download ILV Zero)

Hey guys! What should I consider to buy my first lands?

Howdy! Do you want to focus on fuel or blueprints? The higher tiers tend to have significant production boosts and fuel sites, whereas a lower tier may have more space which may help for blueprint hunting…. Then you can look at what types of fuel there are (is there a specific type you want to focus on or a balance), then element sites (seems a balance is optimal). If you’re tier 3 or more you may want to see what type of boost landmark is there. Guess last thing is if you’re looking at blueprints, the zone the land is in affects the drop rates of illuvials of that type (I.e. crimson waste has a high chance of fire types). Oh and maybe if you’re looking at a mega city may want to consider land around a plot. And look in the land dex channel sometimes people will post if there’s a good deal

Sure if I am selling carbon daily if it is needed in the market place otherwise im guessing higher amounts would be used for upgrading buildings and who knows how high the amounts will go.

Megacity might just need having an additional storage building or two to compensate, but I doubt it's 4x what a regular plot would need. How do developers make any money?

there will be a free to play area. But your assets will always be on the blockchain.

I.e. you get a pool of units/equipment/ores/items to acquire that are beginner stuff. Nothing powerful or useful in tournaments. Once you acquire them, they are on the blockchain; so you will be able to sell them if you create a wallet for your account. But you will just obtain them in-game, play with them and not notice that feature until you feel ready to expand in that blockchain direction.

Then If you want to obtain the rare and more powerful units, you will have to buy runs into the overworld. The idea is that those runs are similar to Pokemon Packs, but with added strategy and a museum like vibe to them. You can choose what assets you want out of everything in the run, and return from the run with your favorite stuff, rather than get 6 cards from a single pack every time.

The free to play stuff can be sold, but they will have quite little use in competitive play. So you have an incentive to expand your units and go on paid runs to get the powerful assets.

there will be a total of 100K lands, currently 20K were sold. The rate at which they will be sold is made concrete in the land-sale proposal.
Idea being: "When fuel hits a certain demand level and the current set of lands can't keep up, some new lands will be sold at an X-timely basis" the specifics can be found in the specific proposal

A run should cater to mainstream players. Lands just allow you to be a creator of the fuel and play for free because of that. Illuvium Zero is for the investors, while Overworld and Arena are for the gamers

Yeah I don't know how much you would get for 60$ but I'd expect youd be able to play overworld a while, You can always grind the T0's to supplement your team and then add a few higher tier (paid) Illuvials.
Just don't expect the game to play exactly like the current PVP arena. The current version is like the final end game if you paid (hundreds of dollars?) to obtain a full deck. Rhamphyres, T5 equipments, crazy stuff.
Illuvium Zero just allows you to get the decks for free if you have a good enough build on your land and enough people play the game.

Realise that lands would get 5% of in-game revenue through fuel sales. If the game is popular, that would be enough to pay for your own runs. If there isn't much interest, then your lands would produce 5% of very little 😛

Where you basically can grow mutated plants, and if you harvest them you get dye's you could sell on illuvidex or use for skin crafting.

You can buy the lands on the Illuvidex (Illuvium website) or other L2 market places (don't buy them on L1 as likely scams).

Once you have a plot, I think you may need to request access to the beta, then you can download Illuvium Zero from the website and start playing.

I only have a T1 that has high silicon production, not balanced. To me, its quite slow to generate fuels (which can be sold) due to the lack of the element bases

If you sell the blueprint they are lost. Currently, many of the lands are immobilized because users would lose the blueprint when selling. That explains why prices have risen. You should try to put a price on those plans if you estimate that they are worth $10 you will get $150 on mining day. 2 months ago the land was worth $300 now $700, so in your case it is worth selling.
In our case, we are hopeful that the blueprint will be quoted at a high price of $10-$30. Added to this is that another 15 blueprint will be available, which will prevent landholders from selling in an attempt to obtain more plans.
Keep in mind that Illuvium Zero's main source of income will be blueprints rather than fuel. The price of the land may be between $1000 and $2000. The price of ILV and that of land will go hand in hand. But that's speculating.

The gas fee is independent of the wallet you use; what matters is the network to which the wallet is connected. If you're interacting with staking, it'll be on the layer 1 ETH mainnet, where fees are higher. However, if you're interacting with NFTs (disks/lands), you'll use the Immutable X layer 2, where fees are practically non-existent. This is irrespective of the wallet used.

The fees are paid by the buyer. The fees are included in the price. The fees are a percentage of the listed price and are the same token as the payment.

Imagine that I list my t1 land for 10eth (because it’s obviously the best one in the game) and the price that the buyers see is 10.5eth. I get 10eth when they buy it. The DAO gets 0.3eth as royalty fee and ImmutableX gets 0.2eth as the network fee.

It’s not a gas fee it’s a trading fee.

I might be missunderstanding you, but you need to use the immutable x layer 2 network, you dont have to use the IMX coin. Eth is the most normal coin used for lands / nfts

I think you are understanding me. So does Steele. I am wondering why or when other exchanges besides metamask will be linked to the illuvium website wallet. I would prefer to not pay a fee to transfer ETH to meta then another fee to imx.

After literally waiting months to mint IZ blueprints, I just don't understand the reasons behind this scheduling [ZERO] Alpha Minting planned for Christmas Weeks ago, @amber atlas indicated blueprint minting might happen BEFORE Christmas, but the number of days left for that to happen are quickly running out. If the window of time for minting is long enough, having it start at Christmas may not be an issue for land owners that are traveling, but we just have no idea how many days or weeks we have to get our blueprints minted, or what amount of time is required within IZ to mint. @spring mist can we get some clarity on the timing and process for IZ blueprint minting? Many have requested an Illuvium Zero AMA, is there any chance of that happening?
