One thing to note is that 149,50-149,99% will show as 150% in-game

so make sure that the efficiency is really 150%

I never saw the land as a pure investment. ILV offers so much more for little to zero effort. I can see the fun though of having to build a small “city” to get resources for connecting games though. Somewhat lucrative though more for entertainment I would imagine.

I would have like the tier 0 travel to come from free to play land. What’s the incentive to sell free fuel I don’t know. Maybe some sort of token from the DAO that you can use to purchase items 🤷‍♂️

So yes, as a dedicated, full fuel, perfectly optimised layout plot, you will get more $ if price hits top rail and people start buying from day, so as you will earn more than a plot with a bad layout if top rail doesn't get hit

The lands will not be sold again as we believe. We think that when they come out again, 20,000 new lands will be sold, right? WELL NO. That would sink the market. They will sell 1000, 2000 every 3 months. Those who have land will buy with the same auction method but there will be more competition to create megacities.
As to whether the accounts I have presented to you should take into account 100,000 lands, this is not the case because now there are 20,000 and it may take 10 years to sell them all. Only 1/4 of Axie Infinity has been sold after 5 years.

Oh man... well, crypton will get things going a little faster early on. But it kinda evens out over time. Also, a balanced plot (equal elements & fuels) tend to advance faster because of less need for conversion. Also depends on your plots. T1 takes around 3 weeks to get bps rolling. Higher tier plots develop faster and thus faster to get bps.

Things will change once open beta begins also (game balance, biodata success rate)... but this is what's up for the current bps and game balance.

Do NOT reset the plot.

You should be able to log in to the game and still see that you’ve discovered the blueprints. The only thing you might still need is a zero point transducer

Ok... so the key takeaways I get from the final fuel n land plot doc is that:

• DAO will provide UNLIMITED fuel at the max rail price (TBD)
• Landowners can set whatever price they want for the fuel they mine and sell (up to max guardrail price)
• Players can set buy orders at whatever price they want (up to the max guardrail price)
• Landowners receive 5% of all sales of only DAO fuel
• Extra land sales will occur as one means to fine tune fuel availability/balance/price

That says to me there is autonomy between landowners and dao. Dao always has fuel on sale at top amount infinitely. Landowners sell their fuel at either top or < top whenever they choose... But that landowners won't receive anything from sales by other landowners. It would seem unlikely that prices would fall low because, ideally, there will be a high demand for fuel.

Scanning is buffed during the current alpha version since it would make little sense to have someone grind and grind in a test-game and not find anything after their first 2 Biodata.

During the open beta there will be 130-205 biodata rather than 5 but will have lower droprates. The scanning will be difficult yet more diverse (Idk if the T0s have biodata. Those are the 75).

• Sligthly disadvantage in early game, because you can't surround all sites with paths.

Idk about that. The successful land sale was the narrative used by the team for a long time to hype the project and carry things through. They ought to feel ashamed if it is true they don’t see land as an investment. I think they understand and have listened to the growing echoes of dissatisfaction of landholders over the past months. There were ideas of rewards for landholders starting to be discussed… but with all the news of PvP, team builder, ob approaching, it seems all the reward talk took a back seat.

That’s why I think they will make lands/economy appealing cuz if not it would be another slap in the face to ppl that have been holding lands without returns for so long.

Here’s a dream reward scenario for landholders… it goes something like this…

Upon beginning of open beta:
A general reward given in ILV to landholders based on tier and duration of land held. Something like .002 Ilv per day per t1 owned since land sale. If you just bought land then those rewards only accrue from the day purchased. Using 550 days as a measure that would be .001*550=.55 Ilv

So if you held a t1 land since the land sale you’d get .55 Ilv

Base Tier structure t1=.001 t2=.0015 t3=.003 t4=.01

So a t4 would receive 550*.01=5.5 Ilv if held for the full 550 days.

A reward for active zero users would also be given. That would be based on level of plot played… that would go something like: t1 per 100 land level = .01 Ilv

So a t1 land at level 600 would receive .6 Ilv

Tiers Per 100 land level: t1=.01 t2=.015 t3=.03 t4=.1

All together I’d estimate that a total payout in Ilv would be around 15-25k. That could be way off, idk. But that would mean 1.5-2.5 million dollars allotted as rewards for landholders based on current Ilv prices. Idk if that would fly… but the structure is solid.

Currently, beyond leaderboard ppl get what 100ilv/wk? That’s 5500/year
So it’s not unreasonable for landholders to collectively receive upwards of 15-25k Ilv for the duration held and work on land.

Once lands are developed balance is less of an issue. Balanced lands just get going a little faster and are more straighforward. Unbalanced lands require more fuel/element conversion depending on where it's lopsided.

Imo if you plan to play casually it doesn't matter thaaaat much. t2 is going to take a while to get going anyway because of the tier.

Also, there are still unknowns with final plot balancing by the team... still waiting for that info

In Order to be able to Find s2 and s3 blueprints, you need to have s1 of them.

I only get $25 for the 1st 500 experience points paid each week and 30% of the nft when they are sold, normally close to 500 points you get everything on the land and on average it takes me with t1 4 weeks, less time with higher levels. I also have a scholarship in polemos that they have not said how much they will share, and I am signed up for another scholarship from a guild that when it starts they say that they would share 70% with the scholars, those have not been opened so I'm not guided by that for now...

Yes. Currently lands can be set up to be optimized for fuel production or BPs... or somewhere in-between. But looks like there will be new features added over time. That should make the game more diverse.

There will be well over 100 biodata possible to find for OB. They will be a lot harder to find also and certain ones will be very scarce. They will only be available for a limited time and then new biodata rotated in from what I recall. The older ones never to be available after that.

Land will be it's own interesting aspect of Illuvium.

There's probably a way to flag the lands, either from the Illuvium side or through the ILX marketplace, but in general, reversing land sales isn't possible since there's no central controller of the marketplace.

That's why I suggest reaching out directly to support; they should have a protocol for such cases.

Did you ever open the notes to add or delete info? It's possible someone had a screen recorder or keystroke recorder on your computer.

Can you see where the funds were transferred to? You could check the activity of that wallet to see if there are other fraudulent activities.

Before you buy any more crypto or make another metamask account get a hardware wallet. Trezor is inexpensive and good. Do NOT put your seed phrase on a computer or take a picture. Good idea to not rush into anything. Yes, Trezor is a type of hardware wallet. Ledger is another one. They are both user friendly. They can store your tokens and NFTs. You can hook your hardware wallet up to a new Metamask account. That way you have to sign each transaction using your hardware wallet and it makes it more secure.

There are many good YouTube videos explaining how they work and the one MegaRatty pointed out from Scoriox is good too.

There are no dumb questions. We have all been new and there is a lot to learn. I am just so sorry this happened to you.

Have you kept the seed phrase in Google drive or the notes were being backed up in Google drive?

Often Google drive is used as a backup and if apps are given permission to access the same Google account like for example when you sign up in a 'quest' site for easy rewards.. some sites/apps ask you to give read/write access to your gdrive.
Last year I signed up for beta testing a game. The only way to login was with Google account. When I was checking my Google account, I noticed that this game app had read/write permissions in my Google drive. Luckily I use a separate Google account for these so no harm done.

It is not possible for anyone to transact from your wallet without signing and accepting the transaction from inside the ethereum wallet connected to your imx wallet. If someone got your seed phrase or private key of the ethereum wallet, it can be used in any app like metamask/trust to gain full access.

The more I ponder your situation the more it seems like whoever did it knew you or had some kind of awareness of your illuvium activity.

The reason I think that is because the person knew to access an imx portal to make listings of your lands. They knew what to price them at to sell. Even accepting an offer from banshee (low baller bot). Then they transferred the eth to an external wallet… and then again in smaller amounts to what looks like an exchange or something.

But the fact that they knew how to navigate imx, land prices and offers makes me think either they knew you, and they you played illuvium or they had access to your activities via screen capture or something.

Looks like they took some time also. So maybe they knew you weren’t active during the time they did the shit.

Yah, if you have a land you get access to download zero and play. I don’t remember if u get arena/ow access also. But they are giving out codes easily now if u just ask a mod nicely.

If you are just dipping your toes in… then maybe just get one t1 so you can try it out and see if you like it. Balanced elements and fuel (1 hydro, 1 carbon, 1 silicon, and a fuel for t1) makes getting started a little easier. And I find the darker lands easier on the eyes. I stay away from tiaga 😆
If you don’t like it you can always resell the land… or if u like it you can get more or go higher tier.

Higher tier lands produce more resources and develop faster. T4 being the quickest to produce a lot of fuel.

I’d just stay away from grossly unbalanced land (all one element). You have to make up for it with a lot of converters. And that’s pretty slow on a t1 in the beginning. Just try and have one of each element.

And we still don’t know the details of zero economy 😝 Dunno how much OW runs will cost yet… dunno cost of fuel sold by the dao…. Dunno how much each land will produce of fuel… there will be a rebalance for next update. Lots of unknowns still.

Someone took over your computer remotely using a Trojan. Since you have the passwords in it, it could have done it at some point when you left the computer connected without you being in front of it.
To avoid this you should have a hardware wallet and save the lands in one of their addresses. To sell, the thief would have to press two buttons on the hardware wallet, and of course he can't do that. Estimate the cost of the crime: 13 lands at $500 are $6,500.
Ask for a loan and buy them again. Buy a Hardware wallet, TREZOR or LEDGER.
We have all suffered a theft and adopted a cold address protection system on a HW. Distribute the lands in different addresses. Hide the 24-word seed in redundant lists of 16 words in 3 physically distant locations.

Buy a HW and when it arrives in 10 days, configure it, change all the addresses of the exchanges and finally buy 18 lands in IMX. Hey. I just came back after 6+ months without playing, preparing for the BP-minting.
The last couple of days I have been playing on my phone, but yesterday I decided to install the Windows-app on my computer to find the perfect fuel layout. It's easier than playing on the phone.
When I logged in on the window app the screen showed me that my land was level 1, it had the same name as my land does. I logged out and went back to my phone. There it showed my old land, and I could enter. When I played for 2 minutes I got a error message saying something along the lines of "Can not sync time, progress will not be saved". When I restarted the app on my phone it will not log in. Stuck in "loading land plots".

I submitted a support ticket yesterday, but figured it would be worth a shot posting here.
Anyone got any tips to what I should do?
