Could the team make it so that the music of Illuvium Zero doesn't start over when switching lands? Ive heard the same booping of the start of the music like 100 times now within an hour of swapping between 3 lands ๐

fuel converters are always on a 1:1 ratio (at 100%), cost to convert goes up by 1 per level though so on lv2 it's 2:2, lv3 is 3:3 and so on (at 100% still)

there's no plot to plot transfer yet
the marketplace is just using simulated players for this alpha (you're basically trading with the game server)

Yes, and the Resource and Fuel Locations are all located in a small area, giving me enough room for a lot of scanners running at 100% (technically 9, but I figure 7 will be enough)

Hey! I have been emailing support but I haven't gotten any response in more than 24 hrs now, I am not able to play IZ either on my phone or computer, saying to check internet connection. But I am able to log in to a different account with no problems. So I'm sure it's just the account on the backend that has some problems.
probably not this fast, they do require resources to scan, so it'd be a good idea to level up resource production before getting more

For more fuel, what you plan to do? More of the other converters to keep converting back and forth between them all? That may be another advantage for higher plots, it leaves more room for scanners, since you would need to space out the converters in a T1

Why do you have so many roads? Is it affecting anything if i do the same? Or leaving them empty is the same?
Paths around production buildings reduce the time it takes to produce (each full row per corner has a % reduction in time). Paths around the scanners is just to avoid plants to grow there, since they reduce scanner efficiency. Also whenever you are building something, paths reduce time to build.
A bit of perfectionism here lol The double resource bar on the top gives it away. I considered for a second cleaning that up because it annoyed me visually hahaha I did resist tho!
nah i put all the converters together, i dont need anymore, surrounded them with power stations, i only have 3 carbon mines, all converters and mines are at 150% efficiency

Gotcha. Not sure if doable with the space constraints, but if you can get at least some to 100% you can also use the active conversion to trade 1 of another fuel for 2 fuels. If you have that going for all 3 fuel types is double the fuel for free ๐ And that is for level 1. I think the ratio improves for higher converter levels
at 100% its still 1 fuel for 1 fuel, maybe at 150% it does that

they have a base efficiency of 80% (for elements) and 70% (for fuels)
and yes they still produce passively, just a little slower below 100% (but faster above 100%)

The first Biodata is usually found easily, the others will take longer
The only way is to keep scanning (or making more scanners and scanning more)

efficiency is just a direct multiplier (for 150% you just need to multiply the base value with x1.5)
so if an extractor is at 150%, it will generate 1*1.5 = 1.5 every 2 days, or will generate 1 every 2/1.5 = 1.333 days? If that makes sense
It will round for fuel, so 1*1.5 = 2 (every 2 days)
after launch that 150% will mean that 50% of the time you get just 1 and the other 50% u will get 2
but for now it just rounds to the nearest whole number, so at 150% it rounds up to 2 every time

so that would mean a 50% efficiency converter is the same as a 149%
You gotta get some Material labs going to try to get blueprints out of the biodata. Scanners should be enough at 3 since you will have time to keep retrying. Check your resource generation to see if you have enough output to keep scanners and research going and that should do it. I would say build at least one materials lab straight away and then divide between building more research and optimize efficiency as needed using power plants

I'm playing a T3 as well and I only have one of each converter and I'm generating way above what I'm consuming at this point. I also have 3 scanners and now getting a 2nd materials lab. You are probably generating more elements than what you need daily. Once you have more Material labs you may need high element generation, I'm not sure about that, but that's what we need to figure out: daily consumption vs daily element/fuel inputs and balance it out. For alpha fuel doesnt matter, later for profit you would want to generate just the needed elements and optimize for max fuel.

depends on the land, I can fit 4 on mine comfortably and produce decent fuel too
That seems pretty solid, hopefully there is plenty of time to farm out the skins. It's a slow grind for the low tiers.

@golden spoke I got good news for you... unless they made CRAZY changes (which they havent), if you do some research you can get all the infra you need to get BPs within a week +-. I started playing 4 weeks before the wipe (T1 land) and by the wipe I had already had my 15 BPs for a week+-

@slim topaz it depends on what you're trying to do. on my first run building my T1, I have 1 extractor of each element (3 element land), and 2 converters. I had a few situations where I needed RSS and didnt have them, but within a couple of weeks it became fairly self-sustaining (3 scanners, 7 labs running at the time, and 1 crypton gate lvl 4 I believe)
reducing timer-times. If you have more paths surrounding a building, the time it takes to extract / upgrade / convert decreases.
Nice, I'm just now getting fuel on all my t-1's. But, I've really only played 30 minutes a day max with 1 day off so far. Tonight I will look into breakpoints, the conversions are much lower since I've last played.

you can clear them, you just have to complete the requirements for the goal again with a new building (you can keep the old one, and just delete the new one once you've claimed the goal)
What if I don't want to build a new building or if I'm out of space (end game) and the goal is there, it's annoying.
One thing that system prevents is, in the future, when we are able to retain buildings on lands that are transferred to a different wallet, the goals wonโt simply be accomplished providing free speed up coins.
This may not have been an intentional though.

Did someone already reported a bug that rollback a Land ? I played on one of my plot. Locked the Phone (with the game open if I remember) then played the Land on my computer. And when i opened again on my Phone. I lost what i did in this plot during the PC farming.

Scans can fail even at 100%, so if they are at 50% I would expect your chances would be half what they were originally, but does not mean you will successfully scan half of the time. It should be less than that, since 100% does not guarantee a successful scan
I would assume it works similar to tinding a blueprint. That one is stated that it has a 5% chance. Scanning probably has some percentage like that set as well. So your efficiency is probably multiplied by that hardcoded percentage I would assume

5% is in the material lab to find a blueprint. Finding biodata I don't think it says anywhere what the chances are. Just assuming is the same mechanics.

@timber glacier I waited for 2 days for my converter lvl 1 to passive accumulate fuel. In normal circunstances, it converts 1:1 fuel and passively collects 1 fuel in 2 days. But I increased its efficiency to 146% (in a T2), which is enough for the converter to convert action at 1:2 ration and I was supposing the passive income would also increase to 2 fuels. . But once I tired to collect the passive fuelit only rewards me with 1 fuel.
Are you sure the efficiency also affects the passive fuel colletor? Maybe should I wait more time? I am not sure if 48 hours have effectvily passed since I construct the building.

just remove them before revealing your scans. The only time the percentage is applied is when you click on it to reveal the scan

Umm last I knew they were supposed to be impacted by plants.
I think it rounds to the nearest integer. So 1.46 would still give you 1 fuel. Try bringing it to 150% then you should get 2.

If my thought is correct it would only apply to the next passive generation. The percentage is checked during generation.
The active conversion reward is affected by the tier as well I think. I can't confirm now because all my converters are active. I'll double check tomorrow what I'm getting on my plot.

One of my passive generation just completed. This is from a T3, it says it's supposed to give me 2 fuel, I got 3 having it at 150%. That makes sense, 2*1.5.
In your case the math would be 1*1.5 at 150% (you said your passive generation is 1 fuel right?). It would be then a question of how the rounding works. You may get 1 or 2, depending on how it's implemented
Are you still referring to the plants reducing scanner Efficiency? Because Iโve always understood that plants are supposed to reduce scanner efficiency. The scanners donโt gather as much data because thereโs something blocking itโs line of site.
I think Johnny said something about having that changed for the beta. Illuviuals should be happy to have plants around for camouflage haha
Yeah itโs a reasonable way to think about it. The lore could go either way. Scanner interference or illuvial lures.
T3 has a tier production boost of 100%. So if the passive generation of the building is 1 fuel, buildings in your T3 would generate the double as base generation (the efficiency boost would be applied on top of it).
So if you say your efficiency is 150%, (2 fuel of base passive generation (T3) ) * 150% efficiency = 3 fuels. There was not rounding here.
We would know if there was a rounding up if your efficiency would be less than 150%.
But if you received 3 fuels, it means the efficiency also affects the passive generation, which was my doubt. But it seems, so far, the rounding up trick is not applied for passive generation.
In my T2/T1 lands, the only way I can receive 2 fuels (instead of the default 1) from the converter lvl 1, would be using the round up trick and the efficiency at 150%. As I said, that worked for the active converter action, but it seems is not working for the passive generation, at least for now. I will keep waiting to see if passive income of my land reaches 2 fuels in the second generation.
I'm talking about rounding for your plot. Mine has no rounding since it results in an integer. On your plot you said you had it at 146% when it did the passive generation, so you will need to have it at 150% and wait for the next passive generation so we can figure out if 1.5 will be rounded to 1 or 2. At 146% for sure it would be rounded down to 1. It would be sketchy to round 1.46 fuel to 2 ๐
what does trace etherum mean?
It's just part of the lore to justify where the fuel is coming from I believe. The converters are getting that trace ethereum from the atmosphere and converting to fuel
But the example I shared happened in a T2 land, which already have a base tier boost of 33%. For the convert action of the same building, for example, I don't need to have 150% efficiency for the action to reward 2 fuels
So, I am thinking the game rounds up when it's an active generation (ex: convert action), but it rounds down when it's a passive generation. I need to test more

It would be interesting if the opposite happens: plants increasing scan efficiency. It would be more interesting if the chances of finding a specific illuvial would be affected by the numbers of plants around the scanner (along with current factors), For exemple, some illuvials would be easier to find when no plants are around the scanner, meanwhile other illuvials would be harder to find in this scenario. The same way some illuvials would be easier to find if there are plants around the scanner while other illuvials would become difficult to find. That would add a deep micro strategy layer to the scan activity

Is anyone else finding this V2 buggier than previous versions? My biggest issues are it keeps logging me out, the password keeps deleting itself when I type it in and it gets stuck on the loading screen and I have to shut the whole program down and re open and start fresh. Also Level II of the Crypton, Hyperion and Anti Solon convertors all swap 2 for 2. I can swap 1 for 2 in level 1?

i was building beautifull city, untill i found this trick. all fuels are built and started on low %. Then when its ready, you can move building. In middle of city, keep open 3x3 surrounded with power stations. makes any building in it 150%. Move anything there and then collect, you will get 150% output every time.

Illuvials are not captured in Illuvium Zero. They are only being scanned for their BioData. That bio data is used for research purposes.

the cap is shared IMO
but for example, on a T1 the level 1 element extractors make 250 on 100% efficiency
on a T3 a level 1 extractor on 100% efficiency makes 500 due to the 100% production boost for elements and fuel that a T3 gives

Well, they reduce each others efficiency when grouped like this, so no amount of power stations would be able to raise it (still gives passive generation due to rounding though, or you can move them to a higher powered area when it's due to tick up the passive)
if you noted down when that's about to happen, tricky to time otherwise

you might be able to raise the efficiency of the converters a little by placing them near the resource extractor matching the element (for the elements you have on the plot at least)

There are a total of 15 (5 biodata, 3 blueprints each) available. At the start of the minting period, you will be able to choose which ones you want to convert into NFTs

there are stacked bonuses, just not production ones related to the tier, mostly relating to landmarks

The only way to increase it (100% is max) is to keep it away from everything else (buildings and plants), roads are fine though.

I am watching lands screenshots ppl are posting here and I have to say:
Your land layouts are so bealtiful. Buildings are aligned, grouped together. Paths following some pattern. Everything is clean. It feels like a planned city in real life. My land is a mess, buildings and plants everywhere, no pattern at all ๐
I'm very precise in real life, so I just carry that over here in the game. The best is yet to come ๐
