Hi I'm hearing about how selling gas generated by land will legally be considered a taxable event - though it may not matter now (because it will be hard for the irs to track it), in 10 years when the game is fully developed and adopted by the masses it could matter because it will be impossible to hide, no gamer (or parent) will want that responsibility. Overlooking the issue doesn't seem very congruent to the long term vision for the brand, and based on what I read above it seemed to be quickly dismissed. Just throwing in my 2 cents. Perhaps our concern is unreasonably early, but if longevity is the name of the game then logically it should be put into consideration. Would make much more sense to just let people use their own gas that they produce.

All this explanation I already understand, however at the end you say "no user identifiable info should ever be required to play the game", that sounds fantastic in theory but governments have been pressing companies to kyc their user base as soon as "previously overlooked taxable events have been found", so, I hope it stays this way because if it does, problem solved. However if the game one day has a million players, then they will likely force you to kyc one way or another.

All but 1 of my T1 are 3elements - I don’t care much about which fuels atm. The one that’s not all 3 elements is part of a 3x3 MC so it’s stayin as a long term plot.

My 2 T2 are all split 222 for elements as well.. It just makes sense to have these as they will be more desired later since the distribution is even.

Im checking plots every day in case I find a gem or even distribution floor but not in a hurry to ape since I personally doubt they lauch pre merge and September is gonna be brutal for everyone.

I have not seen anyone from the core team confirm the ability to spend Silv2 to speed up production. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that has been a requested feature from community. I do feel if this is a thing it should not provide an unfair advantage to whales. Possibly speed up the process of mining your elements/fuels for a given day if you are crunched for time. The potential maximum amount of fuel/elements extracted per day should remain constant.

If you can speed up fuel production that's an advantage you will have of course depending on cost of speeding up production if the tradeoff is worth it. The team has always sided on the side of being fair so I'm sure they have put this into consideration.

I just checked and there’s only 13 lands in the verified opensea collection (on layer 1). 2 of those are the t5s.

However, the quality of the leaks is what has me feeling confident in the team delivering these games overall.

In addition to the art and graphics, there has been a significant amount of gameplay footage as well, whether it be the Overworld exploration the devs have streamed, the smaller clips of Illuvium Zero (with the team aiming to have the IZ Alpha available to landowners in September), or the private beta of the Autobattler. That's gameplay from the 3 main pieces of the games, really. That's awesome in my book.

**Overworld ** core mechanics are fully function on the local side and are being integrated with server (the main gameplay leak showed encounters, harvesting, and mining, these are the core mechanics)
Shared mechanics like crafting and fusing aren't ready yet, although I would expect some of these aren't too far away from being in some videos

i think for panic it is to early. if you look at the plots they are not that balanced. bad in elements and hold just 1 kind of fuel. I think the owners of those just drop in price until they sell it. but nobody wana have them, so they lower the price more and more

Yeah that makes sense and probably what’s happening. If you look we have one evenly distributed t2 at .97 which is already much higher than floor, but then it jumps quite quick to 1.5 and up. People are probably consolidating and dropping their crap plots. Especially ones who bought in June since that was pretty much a low point in dollar terms so the loss isn’t too painful

Right so them letting go of plots due to delays etc is completely normal. they are still up and cutting losses on non-optimal plots now is not a bad strategy.. i suppose if we do get some good news and launch in sept, it’ll be good for new people getting in since the barrier to entry will be lower

Can you “buy” extra elements to speed up building upgrades? Surely that counteracts the purpose of buying land.

From what I remember, Johnny has mentioned that you will be able to pay to speed up the building/upgrading of structures that you're building on your land, if you choose. That way you can get the structures done quicker.

Once the structures are completed, you can't pay to increase the speed of the processes those structures perform. So you can't speed up your fuel generation or speed up the scanning/researching processes for blueprints. That is time gated and will be the same for everyone, whale or not.

1. Does the BP in alpha include Tier 1 - Tier 5?
2. Do we need to burn BP to upgrade the research tree?
3. If the answer to both questions is no, does it mean we can hoard/trade T1-T5 BP from alpha, and then use those BPs to upgrade the research tree in open beta?
4. Does each plot in the same wallet share the same research tree? Or each plot has its own research tree?
5. What would happen to the research tree if the plot is sold?
6. Can we bind the research tree to Illuvium account?

I thought the idea was: you can get certain blueprints per land, let's say all 5 different ones, not duplicable, so only 1 of all limited BPs in ILV0 alpha, you can mint them in ILV0 beta when it's connected with FUEL to Overworld Open Beta
