Why hasn’t our Illuvium Facebook account blocked the fake Facebook Illuvium account that keeps posting their phishing link on every Facebook post?It’s the same fake account that “shared” my profile photo yesterday with their scam link. They have already commented on this morning’s Facebook post.

They go the extra mile by fake posts “confirming” that the link works and ILV was received — those “users” need to be blocked too.

From what I understand, blocking a user/profile will only hide those comments from the person who blocks them. So in this example, whoever controls the Illuvium FB would not be able to see the comments anymore... but everyone else still would. So we wouldn't want them to do that.

But the comments should still be able to be deleted, I think? That way no one would be able to see them.

@sharp steppe are you (or whoever has access to the FB profile) able to go in and see if these comments can be deleted? We're pretty relentless about making sure scams are deleted ASAP in Discord so we should definitely carry that over onto FB, if possible too.

Seems like you gave token approval to someone else to send away your ILV, kitty inu and Ampl token. So yes you will have to revoke that in Etherscan i guess or another place if someone has a better link 🤔
Google "Etherscan approval", and put in your address there to see whether you did sign token approval contracts.

clicked approval think it was generating a new wallet for that particular token.
and stupidly clicked approve 2 more times.

Your address is secured by your secret phrase, that’s the key to controlling all defi transactions with your address. If someone else has those keys they also have full control and there’s no way to stop them. If you just don’t like metamask and want to use a different wallet UI then you can do so, but be safe about it. Don’t trust links sent in DMs from anyone.
