Many new ppl are joining and asking how to setup MetaMask and how to send their address to the bot.

This is very troubling. "Creating account" on cryptocurrency isn't trivial and if not done with proper security they're gonna be hacked. With this airdrop, ppl seem to be doing it in rush to participate.

It's also easy for scammers to create discord accounts passing by bot and send email we won't even know about asking for seed.

There's a level of responsibility that lies with each individual in crypto. We have a bot command, and can try and help people out by removing scammers, but ultimately there's no we way can 100% ensure every person's safety, that responsibility will lie with each person.

Yes. I mean that when ILV has official discord bot to send address and is sending official email, it becomes easier for scammers to do the same. It's easy for an account say the address wasn't found and ask for seed to confirm, or ask for seed to confirm they are the owners of the address.

And many ppl who never used blockchain are coming asking for basic info. Scammer may PM them claiming to be from support team and teach them how to setup MetaMask and ask for seed.

They may think it's like any other game and not be aware they address will be used for other tokens and NFTs.

Mods should point new ppl to some official MetaMask doc teaching how to setup, and never for utube video which could not properly teach it or not be updated.

Well banks never send email and always warn they never do it, so that everybody learn that any email claiming to be from bank are scam. Admins should find another way to get addresses instead of bot that's easily faked.

I can give new people suggestions on how to educate themselves, but I'll personally draw the line there - safety lies with the individual. Scammer here ----> @sonic galleon !! adding random people on Discord, then asking to add her on Telegram and join a restricted group on a Cyprus based investment telling to invest at least 3000$ and getting money back after 24-48hours.
Trying to get to know you, create a trusted climate and getting close to you, then back and force you to invest even if i said i've no money to invest, etc...
I don't have the proof on Telegram cause she deleted all the conversation and kicked me from the group after I said it sounds like scamming... (I should have been smarter and take screenshots before 😦 )

Probably not the only one behaving like this, looks like an advanced scamming way 😂

There is currently no option to move funds between wallets. If unlocked you would have to withdraw and send elsewhere, then restake. Whatever is unlocked cannot be moved right now as unfortunate as this might be.
