Ah that sucks man. With the seed phrase the scammers have control of the wallet (and any other wallet address from the same seed). Transfer anything you still have in there to a wallet with a different seed.

He sent me this screenshot, which is obviously a fake. Possibly as a way to blackmail someone, but he never got to the end of the scam so I don't know the conclusion.
This is 100% fake and I'm sure of this, btw, Kevin is not only a great person, doesn't speak like this, but also doesn't have a role at Kwenta that would provide him any sort of access to rug the project. Just to provide some info that might help people avoid future scams:

He logged onto his game today and tried to catch up on the latest in discord and was confused as to why he couldn't get onto discord. I was hoping this wasn't the case to be honest. How is it you can ban him but have no way of finding out exactly why he got banned in the first place? That seems a little sus, don't you think?

So they got automatically banned due by the discord server’s defense bot. Because they were banned on other discord servers. Sometimes this can be handled by getting unbanned by all the servers but that won’t work this time. Because they were banned by the server that I guess must make the defense bot. And no one ever comes back from that. Feel free to contact #❓❓〕support

I can't be sure, but it looks like he was caught up as part of an extensive discord bot raid. It looks like there were dozens of userbot accounts banned that day.

It was unrelated to this server. From the limited records I can see regarding info on this server… he was a member of this server from sometime before January 7, 2022.
If he had never logged into the discord application for awhile during that time it’s possible his account had been compromised and was being used as a bot account. This does not make much sense to me though.

The sender is usually enough to tell you it's a scam - Illuvium e-mails will never come from some random domain, and sometimes scammers will try and spoof illuvium's e-mail addresses with "L"'s in the place of "i"'s.
The time pressure is also a bit of a tell, and you can always check back here to see if an e-mail is legit.

Thinking about this I'd say chances are this is a Discord leak rather than an Illuvium one. Will be easy to ascertain. Support just needs to ask the people who have received these scam communications if they use the same or different emails for their Illuvium and Discord accounts. If they do that a pattern should form and be clear to see what mailing list has been compromised.

Since a number of mail addresses were leaked a year ago, according to the previous Announcement https://discordapp.com/channels/760344898200666112/768749374255398943/1172288172277903392 , would it be smart to send a mail to the known addresses in that list?
Could you inform whether that is beneficial or will just be seen as spam? 🙂

Yes it is a scam
We dont do mints prior to open beta (somewhere in Q1.) And when that open beta launches, you just play the game on epic like you would normally and then mint things IN-GAME.
So yes this mail is a scam!
There will only be a PVP game coming up the 28th without blockchain integration.
