Been pulled into a conversation about he wanting to buy a plot I own but for some reason Illuvidex doesn't work and he gets an error. He invited 'Chirs K' (i didn't manage to get that guys id as they immediately closed the group chat) to help with the transaction - it's the second time this happened so be aware of people saying they can't buy your plot on the illuvidex and eventually they will try to get you to list it on Opensea or use a 3rd party service. I have the DMs with this guy if needed for confirmation

Definitely a scam, I've seen that scam before. They make up some phony reason they don't wanna use a legit NFT trading site, then they join the convo on a fake mod or admin/team account to act as an intermediary. Glad you didn't get got.

That's not proof of a scam, unfortunately, it's just a (subjectively) overpriced offer to sell land. I strongly recommend you disable DMs for this server if you'd rather not get unsolicited DMs.

It's certainly possible it's a scammer, but the image you posted isn't proof that it's a scam. Use extreme caution if you're buying land off individuals, it's MUCH safer to use something like the Illuvidex to purchase plots than to try and set up deals via DMs.
There's a known scam where the scammer will pose as a Mod or Team member to facilitate the trade on a 2nd account. Be wary of that. In general, just don't do deals via DM like that, it's extremely easy to get caught in a scam. If someone is engaging in that kind of behavior (impersonation), that's a scam, and we can ban for that.
I'll just reiterate - Disabling your DMs and not engaging with DMs is an extremely effective way to avoid scammers, and I strongly recommend you do so.
