We completed the final more than 2 months ago. There were quite a few bots that managed to spoof people and take their share, but I found out most of them. So I put out a call that we were finalising everything (about a month after we airdropped) for anyone to be able to appeal why they didn't receive. But that window has now well and truly closed.

So basically, we sent out preILV

then scanned the list, and found that many of those we gave preILV to were bots

we cut them from the list and did not convert theirs to ILV

So if they are a good hacker they will have a bot set up that removes all funds automatically.

You need to find out if that’s the case.

If not, send eth in the same block that you claim rewards to the address then send everything out the next block you can.

If they do have that then you need to figure out how to beat their bot. Which will be hard but not impossible. Need someone smart helping you.

This assumes you have access the the account still.

The Illuvials you catch in the free regions are considered Tier 0. If you want to capture more valuable/powerful Illuvials, you can then decide to pay the travel fees to get to the T1+ region

HOWEVER, while these are "vesting" they are increasing your rewards

so if after 6 months you decide to claim a 0.5 ILV reward, as soon as you claim, you will now be earning rewards as if you were staking 1.5 ILV total (because you are!)

Bad news. No one can unstake while it’s locked. And there is no way to transfer anything if it is in staking pool. Your hope is that you can be ready to quickly transfer your tokens to a new wallet before someone else does. You can prepare and just be fast about it.

In general I really try not to do anything for less than $150 with ETH aside from sending it A to B in simple transactions. Swapping for other crypto/NFT or staking gets REALLY expensive and you just lose value every time you're moving it around.

That said, learning is valuable, so if you're still figuring things out it's worth it to play around with some smaller amounts instead of bricking some ERC-20 crypto into a wallet on the wrong chain or something.

Apologies - What I was trying to say was that it can be worth it to lose $100 to gas fees to properly educate yourself and feel comfortable (if you're someone who learns by doing, otherwise just watch a YouTube video).

It can be worth it to lose that ETH compared to going all in moving crypto around without knowing what you're doing, because it's relatively easy to make a mistake and lose ALL your crypto.

Figuring out how gas works and how crypto infrastructure is set up is inherently valuable if you plan to use it.

When you try to trade on sushiswap, you usually need to have it go through within minutes. Sushiswap/uniswap have a 20 minute timer before the tx fails.

Hey AK! If you didn't lock your SLP token when you staked it, you should be able to withdraw it when you look at your "Vesting" tab on the website. Then take that to the SushiSwap site and go to the ETH/ILV pool and there should be a tab for "Remove" so you can take out your liquidity

If you claimed ILV as rewards, then those can be found under "Vesting" on the ILV staking page. You don't get your staking rewards paid out immediately. They are locked for 12 months and staked in the ILV pool with a weight of 2.0 for compounding 🙂

I tried this and was not successful but my TW is a pain in the rear so I just used Metamask and imported my trust wallet through that. You really ought to get comfortable using Metamask. You can import your ETH wallets and it makes connecting to exchanges much easier.

Hi. Last night I transferred some ILV from the MXC exchange to my hardware wallet. The transaction says "successful" but the coins never showed up on my wallet - now since 14hrs. The exchange itself does not have an easy customer support access. I know, sometimes with newer coins, they get stuck on the miners node (I don't know if this is the technically exact), but it happened to me before that coins did not get thru - got stuck - even though this time it says "successful", without arriving. @thick tiger For those that use brave browser. When you first use brave there is a metamask wallet included. If you goto metamask and get another wallet, you then must toggle the wallets as you default wallet, in you brave browser settings. This will make the web pages confused from time to time. • You claim those rewards whenever you deem the pile to be big enough to justify gas fees

ILV/ETH at a 1:1 ratio USD values matched or ILV Only. 3 Million tokens will be distributed through yield farming over a 3 year period, with the first year being 1.8million tokens. You can lock up your tokens for a maximum of 1 year which can increase your weight in the pool up to 2x. More details will be published before Yield Farming goes live near the end of May. ETH will be usable for everything in game. So ETH is really all you need to play. ILV is more of a way to join the governance community.

ILV is not needed for gameplay in any way. Instead it has three main functions:

Governance:
Together, we have the power to shape the future of Illuvium through our community collaboration on game improvement proposals as well as electing the initial model of governance, the Illuvinati Council.

Liquidity Mining:
Here, you will gain more ILV (or sILV). Additional ILV will increase your voting power in governance & increase your share of vault distributions.

Vault Distributions:
When you stake ILV, you share in Illuvium's success and earn a passive income of additional ILV, funded through in-game purchases and fees. Vault distributions will only be available from sales and once the game and Illuvidex are launched.

sILV is a substitute currency that can be gained as yield when staking ILV. In game, it can be used to pay for any fee (excluding IlluviDEX trades and Leviathan Arena wagers) that otherwise would be paid for with the main currency ETH.

While claimed staking rewards in the form of ILV are locked for 12 months, sILV offers the opportunity to liquidate your staking rewards immediately. The tradeoff for that is that sILV only can be used in-game and does not provide compounding in any form.

The free-to-play experience of the Tier 0 regions will familiarize you with Illuvium, and won’t feel like an “abridged” version of the game. It is a full-fledged gameplay experience! If you like it, you can then decide to opt in to the paid experience, start collecting NFTs from higher tiered regions, and delve into deeper adventures to explore the mysteries of the game where the NFTs you gather start to hold more value as well.

Just after game launch, when everyone starts fresh, you might even be able to sell free Tier 0 NFTs on the IlluviDEX for ETH, but there is no guarantee for that.

BUT, while the game will be free to play, in order to participate in the earning part of the economy, a bit of money needs to be invested. A full cycle of travelling, curing shards, etc. is currently estimated to be around $50 (this can still change).
