You don’t need ilv to play the game but to go to the areas you can earn you’ll have to pay some eth for travel fees

Actually no. Introductory Game will be free to play. But advanced play will run on ETH through immutable X later 2 system. So no in game gas fees. ILV is more like owning stock in the company. Except it’s not stock or a company.

All badges are in effect achievements. For example you would get a badge for having every Illuvial in the game, or every Illuvial in Holo form (you won't, don't bother trying). This badge is an achievement that says 'I bought this before it was cool" type thing. It will not offer you any benefit in game. It will not make you more attractive. It will not give you the motivation to clean up the attic like you always say you will do but then never do.

This are not "spoon fed" events.. they are community events so you have to be active in the channel to read and participate in the "hints" when they drop..if you would stop by at least once a day and read 10 min in #💬〕general you would always know what you have to do for the airdrops..the communication about the airdrops only drops from Illuvium mods after the event has concluded and it's time for the actual drops

Sushi wanted to do this one themselves, so they announced it in their server. Which makes sense since you had to be a part of their server when the snapshot was done.

But when distributing the NFT they decided that it would be better to let us deal with it since we have experience. It took me not much time to get everything set up and announced. And it will take not much time to get winners on Thursday. We are getting better and better at all our communications. We don't always hit the mark but we learn from mistakes.

While in the burn() function, it seems that the address that has ROLE_TOKEN_DESTROYER will skip any approvals for burning tokens.
So an address, to be allowed to burn, either needs to have access to burn their own tokens, or need to be able to "burn on behalf" or simply needs to be the ROLE_TOKEN_DESTROYER address, taken from this snippet of code:

There will be an option to get the rewards in either ILV or sILV. 1sILV=1ILV. sILV will be a special in game only currency. If sILV is chosen for the staking rewards then the equal amount of ILV will be burned. Lowering the total supply. (Edit: Also here is a real answer #💬〕general message )

But I think for that kind of burning they would be getting approval from the token owner to burn them, and then either the token owner would use the option to burn their own tokens when they convert them to sILV or the token owner would give permission that they use the "Burn on behalf" to burn the tokens

I've only ever been able to do price drops without relisting. You have to cancel and canceling requires a gas cost to write to the chain to prevent a sale from happening. The best way to list I have found is for a time frame acceptable to you not to cancel. Once it ends, there is no cancel fee.

IL is only when yield farming 2+ tokens. You cant have IL when holding a singular token because it's value is to itself (1 doge= 1 doge). However, when yield farming and depositing 2 tokens (for simplicity we'll say of equal value as there are weighted value deposits too) the tokens are valued compared to one another. So when someone purchases ILV from the LP with ETH then the relative value to the ETH has now changed because less ILV is worth more ETH. At this point arbitrageurs come in and level out prices among exchanges. If at the end your ILV performs much better than ETH, it's likely you'll not have seen as much in gains from just simply holding ILV because at the time of withdrawal you would have less ILV.

Vesting occurs when you have rewards available and you click on the button to claim them as ILV tokens. Essentially it is the amount of time you'll need to have your rewards staked before they can be unlocked and added to your wallet.

So when you claim ILV, it isn't added to your wallet immediately, but instead it is reinvested in the ILV-only staking pool with a token weight of 2... and vested for 12 months.

Hi I am having issues withdrawal SNX. My only interaction on staking.illuvium.io was SNX flashpool (ILV staking at universe), so I had no pool others rewards yet. I claimed my rewards on the rewards page and than went to vesting for the withdraw. However, now when withdrawing SNX from pool I have to claim (insignificant ILV amount) for my new created ilv pool and I keep getting stuck in having to claim again. My last try was done pretty fast but that did not help. Please, can somebody help me? Who should I contact?

Don't claim the pool, only withdraw as it will claim anyway

No it did not withdraw my SNX, but merely created a new ilv vesting pool. I think this might have happened cause I claimed my rewards on the rewards page and not on the vesting page and than used withdraw on the vesting page. However, this is kind of confusing tbh.

What is the difference between ILV and sILV? The total supply of ILV plus sILV is 10m, is that right? how the price of sILV is pegged to ILV? I am kind of confusing.

Claim as sILV = Unlocked right away but only usable in-game to pay for fees (and MAYBE to pay at pre-release sales)

To vest and compound your interest, you will need to claim.
So yeah, claim when it makes the most sense for you based on the amount of your rewards and the gas at the time. You don't want the gas fees eating up your profits 🙂

I state ILV FOR 12 months . Also I stake synthetics ‘Couple of week ago’ without reading all the information in the flash pool. Now the staking is over it’s not worth my while claiming the small amount of rewards. ‘ The cart before the horse’ I need to unstake SNX What is asking me to claim my rewards. Is the gas being expensive? Can I just unstake without claiming the rewards?

Poor little brain can cope with all the information. Could anyone clarify for me I would be grateful
