There is a set of core principles for everyone on the project. The highest of which is "go hard". Everyone we bring on has to understand that.
You'll see that in most of our stuff. We don't make decisions based what is snug and comfy to do. We just do what is the coolest. If that is difficult then so be it.
Really proud of the work of the team. Less proud about the leakiness. But I have learned to pick my battles.

For those of you unaware, it essentially means programming foot/leg placement based on body location, and can often be used to walk uneven terrain without needing custom handmade animations for each different possibility. It also tends to look way more lifelike. So while that info slipped under the leak radar with all the pretty colours, it suggests that there could be some amazingly fluid looking movement

Yeah, exactly what I thought as well when reading about the usage of IK. On the other hand, considering the overall quality so far, I would have been surprised if they didn't go for IK as well. Doesn't look like the team is willing to take short cuts anywhere when it comes to quality. Obviously something that only keeps me at peak bullishness 😄

The YouTube 10 hr video is actually a great marketing idea! I love those types of videos everyday and put them on for all sorts of occasions (sleeping & even thematic ones for gaming / table top night). Could pair it with a lightly animated loop of some of the beautiful Illuvium worlds for eye candy. Those types of videos get tons of hits and I'm sure there's some ad revenue to be had as well.

It depends on what people want. There are many levels of integration. It can be a very small thing in which case less time. Or it can be a big deal in which case it will take longer.
