Now that Monster Hunter Wilds is on the horizon I remember how perfect their gameplay loop is. I really hope we eventually transition into that, would literally revolutionise gaming

It's very simple. Hunt down a monster. Kill or capture it. U get rewards based on its hides and other materials. U can mine resources etc too.

The best part of it is how alive it makes the world feel. U see the monster sleep in its den, fight other monsters and even eat smaller monsters.

U can break parts off its body to get better rewards and use other strategy to take it down. Not to mention every fight feels like a fun boss battle u might see in a souls game

Its more about the way the monsters interact with the world that make them feel like more than just a trinket to add to your collection

I think you never played MOBA games, In a riot interview, they said in making skins it is important that all characters are distinguishable regardles of how many skins there are, coz it is crucial in player's decision making in a split second specially in team fights and tournaments, "suppose to hit the marksman but mistakenly targeted the tank because they look similar". Unless devs will not make a moba game or not all illuvials are playable in the said moba just like not all assests in overworld are playable in zero and vice versa. Then we have no problem

The stage 1 lynx is there in the eyes. Then most the others are probably the stage 3s. Hard to see how they could differentiate between the different stage 2 lynx and the different classes for the stage 3s. So that’s why I think these are just affinity based skins for the stage 3 lynxes

Lol no the land owners give the fundamental resources to the rangers. They are operated through the reconnaissance drone, Buckley, to support the entire colony with useful materials fuel and such 🙂
