Most players aren't qualified enough skill wise to recognize what is too good or bad

They'll just lose to something and go "that unit is op!"

Casual gamers are able to understand what is fun and what is not to them. Nerfing something because of the try hards are complaining can have horrible effects to player counts. Look at Diablo 4 recently had a patch that was completely tone deaf and nerfed what people were having fun with. Diablo devs have since rolled back that patch but after the massive exodus of players they still have not enticed the majority of their players to return. Sub-council members should be able to relay gamer sentiment and what are pain points in the gameplay to the team to avoid massive nerfs to the game that the majority are enjoying. Core contributors ultimately have access to gameplay data on what players are using that may actually be the silent majority. Ultimately I feel more comfortable with the team making the decision as they have the most skin in the game. Sub-council can help poll the players to get a pulse and pass that on to the team to make a more informed decision.

Is the auto Battler a card game? Kind of but we pushed it well beyond that so hence not advertising it as a straight card game.

We are so lucky because we got to expierence everything in their development journey that you wouldn't get in a web 2 game. No reason to hold back on us now. Everyone who hasn't heard of illuvium gets to enjoy the sheer wonder with no context. Us discord members get to enjoy having been invited along for the journey. If everything goes as well as we expect, most people didn't get the privilege of the game getting "spoiled". Sear seems to be the only one that appear not spinning.
The spinning & the impact on the ground have something special about the Pangolin line, we can feel that it's strong and ready to take some hits.

There is so much mining to do though. I think it would be cool so Mozart does his thing, the zapping sound is suspenseful like with Illuvial capture. The elements you extract come consecutively, one shard…. two….. three……. end.

The scan to see what the deposit holds can be less specific.

Kind of like the storage bar on a Mac. Each color of the bar represents a different mineral. Most of it could be unknown until you get better chips.

When extracting a shard Mozart could make a specific sound with some effects so you know you got the goods.

I know it’s just rocks but with the right bells, whistles and timing it could be so much more suspenseful.
