Got a question about art production, how long does it's take to create a new illuvial on the art side ?

Because Aaron mentionned that it's only take liek +- 10 min to create a new illuvials, I was wondering what will be they time to create it so it's ready to be released. +-time

I had this idea for a short skit where headi is really scared of atlas. He like slowly crawls up to him shivering making small jolty movements. As he gets close atlas freaks out In fear too and puts up his water shield.
Then headi kinda freezes acting stiff and confused biut slowly puts his tongue out and slurps a bit of his field shield which enrages atlas and they both spark into action running around eachother.
At that moment arlen leans over and picks them both up like kittens and they're just flopping there mid air angry at eachother.

Of course they eventually become best friends

Comparing to pokemon shinies, each shiny is unique and has a different colour palette. Some shinies look better than others and some people like pokemon they otherwise wouldn't because the shiny looks cool

I think if every illuviul, even future ones, all have the same look when holo it will lose its flare

What if they added different effects to future sets?
An Illuvial could have a chance to be Dark Holo, but it could also be "Light Holo", "Monochrome", "Rainbow" etc

Just a few different effects that have a rare chance of occurring. They could even have different rarities

Audits, bug bounties, and extensive testing. Properly done web3 games need to be more robustly tested than non-web3 games. We obviously can't be pulling a New World on launch.

The problem remaining IMO has been about pricing out the otherwise included market. Scalability is being solved by L2 platforms, education is ongoing, regulation (?)

they are Nature and Fire. On the site you can find that Brightland Steppes features Haedi, which could mean that its Stage 2 and 3 will also be found there. But this is only in Illuvium Zero. Whether these numbers carry over to the Overworld remains to be seen.

During the first iteration of the Open Beta, there will only be 3 regions accessible to overworld players. This may partially imbalance the Illuvial spawnchances overall. They might decide to have certain Illuvials show up more often in certain regions so as not to force scarcity. The odds may be changed when more regions are unlocked.

A lot of people complain about the same things, I like to find different things from them that may be a bit odd as I look at things from the point of view of someone spending too much time in the discord and using that to soak up knowledge on Illuvium.
I'm not feeling very strongly about the things I complain about. It's usually more of a complaint to complain about something, while at the same time educating the entire community rather than actually wishing things were different. (or just having a laugh at something like the controller thing)

I summed up the entire illuviary there in a single post! now people may look up what I mean right? They may learn something.

I don't really care if things don't get changed, but if these things can make you pause for a second, think about it and potentially re-evaluate your plans then that would be cool. If you don't, then that's fine.

If I felt strongly about it, as the very emotional person that I am, I would rant about it for a few days because you know I have the time to do that, push a poll on twitter, along with an IIP in #1020759212172775464 ! 🙂

I just find the critiques to be not particularly apt.

Having every Illuvial have the exact same flow isn’t interesting at all.

One Illuvial has multiple fusion lines.
One just happens to not have primary class at stage 1.
Three don’t fuse into “different forms”.

These are just exceptions that make the rules. They aren’t bad decisions at all. And the idea that it makes it Web3 is frankly ridiculous.

Pokémon has dozens of exceptions. Every game does. Even chess has pieces that move differently.

Unless we’re saying checkers is the only good game it’s just not a valid criticism to suggest everything needs to follow a singular pattern.

We use so many things in our games that are common to help lighten the cognitive load. To be told that we are too random is bizarre. There at least 100x as many complaints that we are too structured.

I’m all for feedback. But the reason I suggest you’re an emotional person is attached to your feedback is always this extra element like “we are doing it to be Web3”.

How about just provide the feedback (which in this case is very strange) without adding in the conspiracy theories?

There's some interesting secondary effects either way.
If some rare Illuvitar has 50 plates created and sold off, that likely devalues the base NFT by some margin.
On the other hand, if Illuvitars are limited to 1 plate per NFT, ever, there would have to be tracking and display options for whether the plate had been created already or not. Buying an NFT intending to get a plate made of it would be devastating if it wasn't clear that the 1 plate was already created.

Definitely something we could discuss, but I'm relatively happy with allowing multiple plates per NFT, just from a simplicity standpoint. No extra complicated tracking needed.
