The problem with bots in Classic could easily be solved (or at least mitigated a lot more heavily) if it weren't profitable for Blizzard to allow them to exist.

There's been some super interesting articles about the frequency of ban waves and how they are irregular enough that it's still profitable to run bots in game. Thus Blizzard gets their double sub on any given ban wave month from botters, who are net profitable and thus willing to eat the cost of bans every now and then.

I had a similar moment like this when I was in high school. As a junior, I was apart of our student leadership or ASB, and we had to choose a senior to give a speech about at the end of the year. In my speech I kept on referring to the guy I was giving the speech about as the “Epi- (as in epi-pen) -Tome( as in rhymes with Rome) of a great guy” and after my speech I had people come up to me and ask me what the word was because they hadn’t heard if it before and I said, and when I showed them what I had written one of the guys realized that I had just been pronouncing the word epitome wrong the entire time. How about Ben, who is a mad genius in game development. He put together the majority of the illuvials in a balanced way and giving them a varied performance complementing each other.

We have a bunch of really high level artists, look at Svetlana on artstation (my fav), Dan (his site Danlambertart) and i dont know whether the others like Sofia has artstation but i recon they do. Dont forget Rogier and his mad 20-30 minute LIVE sketch of Tatopee.

Then we have Florian who is a madman in UI design. Idk if he has a team alongside him but otherwise he created all the UI in-game (+IZ) and the entire design of the site.

I would say: Check #🚰〕leaks there are plenty of madmen in the team. And it would take a while to point them all out lol (sorry if i left some of you CCs out ♡)

The OG was like he commanded the fire but now he flies up while also starting a fire spin and then slams it back to the ground with the wind pressure from his wings flapping. Leaks in the case of Illuvium are a peak inside the development progress. It shows how transparent the ILV team is and willing to be venerable and open to feedback. It is such a breath of fresh air as compared to web2 games.

I am not against illuvium. I was just confused about the English word leaks. LOL. Because I see updates also provided by Apple regarding what they are doing by their official site also putting them in a vulnerable position to be judged. I guess it doesn’t matter. Leaks or update. It is basically information sharing.

I just thought I openly share something is not a leak. If I didn’t intend for it to be shared and it got out that is a leak. I thought that is the English definition. It is not my first language.

In Illuvium Zero you'll be able to buy in-game speedup tokens. I think those are the ingame "gems".

I think sILV2 won't be converted into those "gems" but directly used since it's usability is limited in-game. No player to player transactions f.e. Eth I guess could potentially be converted into the gems or something because it is all round for the games.
Since there will also be the moonpay Fiat-Onramp through the IMX integration, it could be that Fiat needs to be converted to the gems, while Eth and sILV2 can be used directly. 🤷‍♂️

Also makes a ton of sense seeing that crimson waste is basically finished. Abyssal basin is almost done with Leartes and Brightland steppes only lacks the plants. Halcyon Sea is only in the blockout phase.

They were pretty far with customising Halcyon sea after all, but then had to re-do the blockout as they said in the overview they gave. So they know what they are aiming for. Now with the blockout finished they should be able to dress it in record speeds 😎

All regions will have a free to play side. You will only catch T0s in the free to play "run". Then once you start paying fuel for runs thats where you will encounter T1-T5s.

It gives that luxury feeling to those that dish out money to Illuvium but does not give them an unreasonable advantage.

Every region will be F2P, it's been stated before. When you travel, you choose free or a tiered paid travel. If you choose free, you will only encounter T0 illuvials but can still explore every region. I'll try dig up where Aaron stated it before. This also makes the most sense imo as we want mass adoption and don't want people to feel super pay walled.

My understanding is that these will be difficulty. And higher difficulty will be more expensive but have higher probability of spawning higher tier illuvials. I assume it's a sliding scale of sorts in terms of difficulty and rarity of encounters.

yh check the illuvium youtube, u see it a bit in the trailer and more in the overworld leak on their youtube

thats why you dont see illuvials running around in the overworld, because there arent any running around...

one of the reasons for this is that this is a Play and Own game, if they make them be running around then suddenly it takes FPS skill to capture them and FPS games can be botted and cheated somewhat easily and we dont want people exploiting the game..
whereas this way people have to engage in the autobattler and u cant cheat the autobattler...

This is reassuring to be a collector. That feeling when you open your collection tab just to brows your beautiful collection of illuvials and w/ 4k graphics just wow. This is the reason i played moba particularly wildrift coz i want to collect those unique champion designs and watch their 10sec animations.
