The lands now are 20k supply out of 100k total. Remember that we won't do additional sales until we understand the fuel demands. And an IIP needs to be done for any sale. So it will stick at these 20k for a while I think. And those people will have an advantage for a long time.

It’s been fluctuating from .38-.50 which is pretty good I think. I predict they will surge before the game releases and then probably dump a little when people find out they aren’t instantly rich or they don’t like the game much or whatever. But long term I think the land will be great. I think Illuvium will proceed with additional land sales with extreme caution. Take a look around at what happens to any other gamefi that does too many releases/sales too soon.

Early on though... Solon likely won't be getting as much use. We've really got no idea how much fuel it takes to craft and forge stuff either. So once Solon is needed... I'm just speculating that you'd need a lot more Solon to craft something than Crypton needed to travel to a region, for example

Imo you would think Hyperion would be the best even though a lot say crypton. My reasoning is you travel once but catch multiple illuvials per trips meaning more shards. But it’s easily balanced so both are the same demand eg. one purchase of crytpon gets you to a region and allows you to catch x many illuvials well all you need for crypton and Hyperion to be equal is that one purchase of Hyperion will let you make enough shards to catch that same amount of illuvials.

As far as Illuvium goes, what do we have to say (if anything) to gamers that are against P2W games? I mean... Is Illuvium pay to win? I'd say it definitely is. But, you pay other players SO... ?? Idk.

You can literally start Illuvium free and if you're good at the game, and start on day 1...I see no reason you couldn't continue after selling some leveled up T0 illuvials, to then travel to a higher region and get the ball rolling. You know...I see your logic with this... actually. Because the fact is, spreading out the ETH so much that it's 1$ per ILV token staked... is pretty stupid. However, that's what is supposed to happen with revenue. I don't really see them getting around it, plus it would look bad if they tried to. Tokenomics are important and at the very least it will show how it will work, even though it's literally an irrelevant amount. (for most). I guess for people that have 30k tokens staked it'll be alright, still compared to cost, this really is insignificant.

When the game has millions of players trading, and playing and paying travel fees all day long, the pennies will add up very quickly. 50$ per day per player, with 1 million players, is WELL over 1bil a year.

I think it’ll be important to present the ingame NFTs as collectibles rather than just ingame items. Most people hate p2w because some guy pours hundreds of dollars on better items but they don’t want to just throw money down the drain. You see that attitude a lot less with collectible games like mtg or warhammer because people see the value in actually owning your game pieces. So long as the illuvial NFTs retain value relative to what it costs to catch them I think people won’t feel like it’s a waste to spend some money for Illuvium.

There's a pay reducing mechanic. You only need stage1 illuvials to play them as stage3 illuvials in the ranked arena and survival modes. this will greatly reduce the barrier of entry. That's my go to explainaation. Accompanied, of course, by a little "yes, there's some pay 2 win in the game. And you might need to buy new characters every season like magic and yugioh"

Edit: And I really do expect prices range to be like opening TCG booster packs, maybe a lil' higher, but not in the crazy range of NFTs these days

What we believe Illuvium is, is the new way forward called Play AND Earn. An enjoyable game with earning potential. A good marriage of being fun for people who simply want to play a game and various earning ways for those who are more into crypto earning.

I've been here for nearly a full year now, I fully realize what that means, but that doesn't change anything about the mainstream gaming space... which is what I was referring to.
