Hypothetically if someone stakes 10 tokens, and there are currently 3,000,000 tokens being staked, (keep in mind this doesn't include pool weight so math isn't perfect) and you use the five loops per day figure, $2,625,000,000. Then you can earn $8750 per month from rev distribution 😮 Just from staking 10 tokens

Yeah honestly, I think from an investor viewpoint, anyone investing to invest will be doing enough research and know market cap is most important, not "price of coin" per say. Regardless of how many times you staked, claimed rewards before or how many pools you are in, your rewards always pile up in one batch and need to be claimed as either ILV or sILV. You do not need any ILV at all to be serious about gameplay. Yes, you can get sILV from staking (a form of ingame currency used for payments that otherwise are paid for with the main currency ETH (except on the marketplace)) but even sILV doesn't give you anything someone without any ILV couldn't get by just spending ETH and playing the game.

There are - in my opinion - of course a ton of great arguments why it makes sense to invest into ILV, but these are not related to gameplay 🙂

When you travel to a region you have a certain amount of energy. That energy can be used for a variety of actions including scanning, gathering, battle etc. You can in theory capture more than one Illuvial per travel (optimizing spoils per travel will make a huge difference between good and less good players).

Current estimations for a full run (travel, cure shards, etc.) are around $50. Still being finalized though.

When you travel to a region you have a certain amount of energy. That energy can be used for a variety of actions including scanning, gathering, battle etc. You can in theory capture more than one Illuvial per travel (optimizing spoils per travel will make a huge difference between good and less good players).

Yes, because sILV is from staking and only a substitute currency for some fees that otherwise are paid in ETH. You can play without any investment but in order to go the play2earn route you most likely need to spend something first 🙂

There will be several options to earn in Illuvium like:

• capture Illuvials
• farm materials
• craft items
• play the marketplace
• wager on battles
• ILV rewards ingame
• …

BUT, while the game will be free to play, in order to participate in the earning part of the economy a bit of money needs to be invested (not even close to entry fees in some other games though). Early on you MIGHT even be able to get to the paid regions just by grinding the free Tier 0 stuff because some people will pay for it on the marketplace to get ahead.

You enter the game. You play for free. You capture free Tier 0 stuff. You enjoy the game. You then pay small travel fees to travel to higher rarity regions and farm/capture more rare stuff there. That's when your items also will have value. Early on with everyone starting fresh, you probably can sell free tier 0 stuff on the marketplace for ETH as well, but there is no guarantee for that.
